James is very chatty, and we often learn something new about Thailand each time we walk in. It's a great family run business, and you can definitely have a taste of who they are through their great food!

The food is fantastic, and the service is even better. It can get real busy fast so I would definitely recommend that you make reservations, especially if you have a larger group. The staff are genuinely interested in your enjoyment. Definitely a good place to take your date to... You will not be dissapointed with that decision.

In my opinion, the best Thai food in Canada. Definitely in my top 5 restaurants. My partner and I have been to Thailand, learned to cook the food and I can safely say that this is the definition of real Thai food. If you haven't tried it, get the massaman curry. You won't regret it. The service is prompt and when it isn't busy, they are usually happy to tell the stories of the dishes. When it's busy, they aren't as warm, but I've never been treated with anything less than respect. To be honest, they could do everything but spit on me and I would still eat here, the food is THAT good.

Can't wait to go back. PS...the restaurant is very small and they JUST had enough room for us but we were recommended to make a reservation if we want to come Friday or Saturday since they are very busy. Le Cafe Siam is my most favourite restaurant of all time. Their cashew chicken and coconut rice are to die for. But I have also tried some of their other dishes and not one fails to satisfy. And, comparatively, the price range is very reasonable for such quality food. Just make sure you make a reservation ahead of time. Due to the fact that they are a favourite restaurant for alot of people, the facility is often filled to capacity.

This place is just breathtakingly awesome! We eat here on average 2 times a month. Every time we have out of town guests we take them here first! When we’ve had swanky friends come down from Toronto saying they’ve tasted the best Thai food in Toronto, they all change their minds! I’m a spice wimp and can eat here. They have a spice scale of 1-10 but the glorious thing is that when it’s spicy it only heightens the flavour instead of drowning it out. If you have one place to eat in St. Thomas, choose this place first!

Seriously my favourite restaurant in the world. Best pad thai ever! I drive into St. Thomas just for their appetizer tray. And the Siam Kiss drink? Mwah! Big portions, great prices, AMAZING quality! So much detail into everything, like the bird shrimp with mashed potato heads, carrot for a nose and sesame seeds for eyes, and the hand crafted lotus dumplings. Totally instagrammable! My only advice is to make reservations because there can be quite the wait for a table.

I have eaten at several restaurants in Thailand, mostly in Bangkok and on Ko Samui, and this is not only the best Thai restaurant in the world that I have visited, but it is also my favourite restaurant overall in the world, and having travelled to 25+ countries and eaten in some really great restaurants, I think that says a lot! The food is the number one reason for this, but the service is also top-notch. For both dining in and take away, Café Siam is amazing!

A hidden gem of a restaurant. There are a lot of great things I could say about this place (the authentic food, the great taste, the friendly staff), but one thing stand out most - they care a lot about what they are doing. In every aspect, it's easy to see that they care about their food and their guests. It's only fair to point out the negatives too, so i'll mention the same thing I see in most other reviews: sometimes the clean-up service or the bill delivery isn't the fastest. That said, the food arrives in good time, bearing in mind that they are making it, and not microwaving it. Overall, fantastic, and the best place to eat in St Thomas.

Food is amazing, service is slow. Best Thai food in South Western Ontario. They say it takes a while to prepare each order, which is fine, I can wait for good food, but waiting for the bill, with dirty, empty plates on the table for over 30 minutes is annoying. The server is a great guy, they just need two of him on a Saturday night. All that said, it's honestly worth the time spent. I've never eaten anything from there that wasn't awesome.

I opened the door and felt like I walked into a restaurant in Thailand. It is a beautiful little gem. The food is delicious, large portions and the staff are fantastic. This family run restaurant is a wonderful, relaxing get away from the hussle and bussle of the city. You have to make a reservation because of the intimate dinning room. I had the Tropical Rice with shrimp it was heavily. The sticky rice dessert was light, fluffy and sweet.

Must have changed ownership or cooks? Have always enjoyed their food last 2 takeout were terrible. Had the yellow curry with chicken and 1 with shrimp Meal consisted of 95%potatoes that were so big had to be cut into mouthsize bites, 2 small shredded size carrots and the MOST WATERY gravy ever. Chicken was very sparse but there was nice shrimp in the one order. Extremely disappointed in the food and have always bragged at how wonderful the food is for people to try.

Amazing Food! This is the most authentic Thai food you can get in SW Ontario. The owner/servers are so friendly and accommodating when it comes to choices. Vegan, Vegetarian, extra spicy, NO PROBLEM. I just love Le Cafe Siam. If you want to have Friday or Saturday take-out dinner make sure you call early. Quite often it gets so busy that they just can't fit in any more take-out orders. Which is a bummer, but just goes to show you how AWESOME the food is.

First time but not the last! Four of us ordered different dishes so we could try some of each. I had Ben Thai and it was excellent. We also had a green curry with beef and zucchini, a chicken with almonds (#12) and another dish with chicken. My husband loves curry and thought this was very good. Folks, the food is positively superior, and the place is a real asset to St. Thomas. I said the food .... The proprietor, a fine cook, actually runs a place which encourages some people not to eat there. Recently, the chap: Greeted us, repeat customers, perfunctorily. Grumpily asked if we were ready to order Said "there was only one beer" available, without naming it. Gave us the said beer without beer glasses Did not ask "is everything OK" as per custom during the meal. Tossed us the bill and two candies. Et cetera.

Cafe Siam is indeed authentic Thai cuisine and every bit as good (maybe better) as anything we enjoyed in Thailand.

Their food is absolutely delicious! They have gluten free, and also vegetarian options. I spent 7 months in Thailand, and the food brings me back to my favourite restaurants there. Their Masaman curry is the best I've ever had, and their sweet and sour Tofu is absolutely scrumptious. Would highly recommend.

I ordered a take out meal picked it up and was driving home and realized I did not ask for gluten free. We have a family member gluten free and my meal all had gluten in it. Let Cafe Siam sent free of charge a gluten free meal delivered to my home. Great food and great customer service. Thank you
