My spouse and I love this diner! The staff is so, so lovely. Our regular order is the eggs benny and corned beef hash. Seriously, worth checking out! Please note that they accept cash only. While they do have an ATM, I recommend bringing cash rom home or your bank to avoid those pesky ATM fees.

So, this is a cute little cafe that we've visited a few times now, and it has been pretty great each time. The serving staff are welcoming and attentive, and the overall ambiance really does have a country charm to it - so, it's aptly named. We stopped in for pancakes on Shrove Tuesday, and were not disappointed. Fresh coffee, fluffy pancakes, light and airy scrambled eggs ... and a side of delicious baked beans - all quickly prepped and served with a smile. There is no shortage of local options for breakfast around town, but if you are a fan of homestyle cooking, you should put the Country Charm Cafe on your list - but just for breakfast and lunch ... they are not open for dinner.

This quaint restaurant may seem small & old school, yet after indulging your first meal, you know immediately why so many return to this cafe. Their hot turkey sandwhich (attched photo) tastes amazing & if you didnt know otherwise, youd thonk your mom was in the kitchen. I'd recommend their breakfasts which are bountiful, no matter choice & their pea male bacon is damn tasty. You'll be doing yourself a disservice by not checking out this little cafe that packs a tasty punch & their staff are personable & genuinely welcoming, plus their prices an added pip. The Country Charm Cafe truly lives up to its name, on every level.

We went there for breakfast yesterday. Portions were great, as well as the food. They also have a gluten free menu which looked just as good as meal I had. Bring cash with you. It's really not that big of a deal. Their website states cash only, as well as the sign on their entrance. There's an atm inside in case you forget. This place might be our new favorite Friday breakfast spot.

Great place for breakfast. Easy to miss based on how it looks from the outside, but definitely worth a visit. Food was great and came quickly. I almost laughed out loud at the side portion of peameal bacon I got with my breakfast... Could have been my entire meal LOL! Will be returning in the near future.

The food is great and you get large portions for average cost. The staff are friendly and efficient. There's usually plenty of seating and I've never had to wait for a table for more than 5 minutes. Down side is that I've sometimes tried coming here during business hours and they were closed, though this hasn't happened in a while.

The good: - The food is absolutely amazing! Best burger in st Thomas and a great breakfast menu, The staff is great. A real joy to be around The bad: - really expensive! 2.25 for a can of pop. Almost $8 for battered mushrooms! If you get a burger with fries, coleslaw and a can of pop your looking at close to $20 - they close early. Only open for breakfast and lunch, they won’t serve the lunch menu for breakfast, but they will do breakfast all day. - they don’t have debit. They do have an ATM which they charge you $2 to use (on top of their already high prices) it’s on dial up which is slow and kicks you off if their phone rings. Over all I would recommend the place. The food quality and service is great. For me the biggest problem is not taking debit. It’s the reason why I only go there once in a while as a treat and not regularly. Come on it’s 2019, even hookers take debit now. It is not a big place and its often full but that just shows the quality of the place. It would be nice if I could get a burger in the morning. If you got the cash please give it a go.

Very poor quality restaurant. I visited this with a business guest based on the review of 4.5 stars and expected a decent lunch however we were both very disappointed. The food was sub standard, the chairs belong in a high school cafeteria and they only accept cash. I felt embarrassed to host a business lunch at this location (we are both from out of town). I am writing this only to warn others that the 4.5 star rating is completely false and undeserved! Either the business is under new management or the cafe has populated their status with friends false reviews.

I would like to start this review by saying, Please don't ever change the way you run this restaurant!!! The service provided here is phenomenal and I do believe no one will find any other restaurant that is as welcoming to their guests as the ladies are at Country Charm cafe. That being said, the food portions are large, fresh, and delivered quickly (10 minutes or less). The quality of the food is better than any other place I've been to and I get the prices worth. It took me one time of coming to Country Charm Cafe to realize this is the only place I will now be eating out at. I can not stress enough how much I enjoy Country Charm Cafe! Please don't ever change how you run your restaurant and how you cook in the kitchen. OUTSTANDING! Love the food! Love the atmosphere! Love Country Charm Cafe! Thank you.

Wow - this place is a great gem! We will most certainly be back when we are in the area again. The staff is warm and friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. The food is delicious and the portions are generous! We felt that management takes health and safety seriously as there were partions between booths and there was sanitizer readily available.

Food was good. Used to frequent this establishment when living in St.Thomas and Port Stanley. Stopped in for breakfast today on a Tuesday. Very quiet. Tea was served luke warm at best. Waitress quickly solved that issue. However, our portions seemed smaller than the past. We both had the corned beef hash. It could have been cooked a touch more. Overall our experience was decent.

I would expect nothing less from the owner than to blame the customer! terrible service and expensive ... cleaning floors and swiping down tables while dinners are still eating. chicken salad sandwich was inedibe because filling was all grissle and overly-chewy dark meet offset with an overload of celery on stale bread. terrible. fries were overcooked and some were burned. wiatress was rude. would NOT recommend this place.

Burnt eggs, coffee tasted like hot water, they weren't able to make my skillet with anything other than crispy brown scrambled eggs. I tried the hollandaise sauce and it didn't really have any flavor.
