First off, the service wasn't very good. Never asked us how our food was, after messing up our beef Taco Salad order and was pretty rude and condescending when she had to ask what the order was again. While I'm sure they have some wait staff that is very good, we unfortunately had someone who either was having a bad day or wasn't very good at their job. Hopefully, no one else has to have a similar experience. Also the manager was having a loud phone conversation while drinking and I don't think that's appropriate while customers are seated and trying to enjoy a meal. Second, the food was uninspired and clearly microwaved to high hell.. The food could've been made better at home. Definitely edible, but not worth your hard earned cash. Go home and make it yourself, better results will come I suspect. I would suggest Under the Volcano in London or Taco Bell and at least if you do the latter you can watch Netflix and be near your own bathroom. I would suggest avoiding this place and hopefully they take the time to improve the food and service. Good luck!

It's unfortunate because the service was very good but the food was not up to par. Definitely not fresh as everything tasted like it was straight from a can or microwaved. If you are looking for authentic Mexican eats, don't waste your money here.

The jewel of St. Thomas. This place is always top notch. Great food , fast service and friendly staff. They also support the local brewery having their excellent beer on tap. My girlfriend is vegitarian and even she had lots to choose from and left just as full as me. Portions are great and reasonably priced, plus for a mere $1.50 you get nachoes and dip.

The food here is phenomenal! I would 10/10 recommend that anyone who enjoys Mexican food eat here. Easily some of the best mexican food I've ever had. In addition to the food the service was excellent. Our waitress always seemed to be around when we needed her help.

This place is awesome, they have great Mexican food. The service was great as they are very knowledgeable and attentive. You defiantly get a Mexican feel when you are inside. The food was delicious and the chips and salsa to start was fantastic. The only downfall is the parking downtown.

This place is fantastic! While I've never been to Mexico, this place is the closest to what I assume authentic Mexican cuisine tastes like. The environment is perfect for a sit down dinner or just a couple margaritas. Hands down my favorite night out is one that starts with Bella Jacks.

Fantastic food. Tortilla chips were fresh, salsa delicious, entrees were hot and delicious AND authentic! Staff was really good atmosphere was good except for the music lol. There was a CD playing of a number of songs that were really repetitive. We were there long enough to hear a couple songs twice even and it was driving my husband batty lol. Everything else was good though. Definitely going to enjoy their food again but might use the patio or take out option.

I have traveled to Mexico many times, this being covid times We can't go.. But the food and drinks we had a Bella Jack's What's so authentic tasting at least for a couple hours we got to pretend we where overseas again. Very much recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a Mexican dining experience.

We've been here several times now and have always been very happy with the food and service. Last night we had a group of 6 and everyone raved about their meals plus the birthday boy in our group had a little surprise from the staff. Our faves are the diablo shrimp appetizers, enchiladas for a main and you gotta try the deep fried ice cream at least once! Fridays and Saturdays, there can be a bit of a wait but there are great beers on tap to enjoy at the bar while you do so.

Had the basic soft tacos and enchiladas since it was our first visit, fish, beef, and chicken. Very tasty, great portions. Waitstaff seemed a little overwhelmed, had to flag them down to give our order even though there were only 5 tables total.

Tonight we came for our first date night in 8 months, we are new to the area and have tried a few places but I can EASILY say this is our favourite place of all time. The coconut lime margarita was the best drink I have ever had, not even best margarita... best drink! Perfectly mixed! I got the beef nachos, and again, best nachos ever. Service was excellent, both me and my partner have experience in working in restaurants, and can say staff was amazing! on top of checking on us, and our food was brought out promptly. We have not one complaint of our night here. Thanks for the great service and food! If you are looking for a good date night restaurant, I highly recommend Bella Jack’s. This will be our new go to place!

I don't know if it's against the rules to write a review if you work at the establishment but I will anyway completely unbiased too just to say I'm a person who doesn't like Mexican food but this place made me like it lol. It may not be my area of expertise but it's seriously good Mexican food and they care about the quality of it as well, the chefs, waiters, and owners work very hard too :)

Delicious authentic Mexican food at this lovely local spot. My husband and I shared the tasty trio to start which was fresh guacamole, queso and hot bean dip with melted cheese, served with tortilla chips. Yum-o! For our mains, hubby had a beef burrito and I had the chicken mole. Both were delicious, though the portion on my chicken was a bit small (more of a tender than a breast). That is the only reason I did not give 5 stars. Would go back and definitely try other dishes, as everything really was quite good ????

Tasty food. Just needed more of it. Very small portions. Plus would be nice to have more than one menu to share with multiple guests...and receive one when asking for one more...it's just courtesy. Plus paint chips were all along the side of the table flaking off the wall.

Just love this place. You can be a foodie and totally dove into some pretty exotic hot sauces in a super cultural environment and atmosphere. Great service, decent prices and nice portions. Definitely a win all around.

Excellent Mexican spot tucked away in St. Thomas. Been here multiple times when in town for work. Both dine in and takeout and the food has always been hot, tasty, and made with fresh ingredients. Definitely recommend trying this place out!

Great atmosphere with Fast and Fantastic food. Definitely worth getting chips and salsa. The chips are warm and the salsa and jalapeno sauce are great with them. I got the steak chimi and it was amazing. Enough to make the girlfriend jealous. Finished it off with my first try of deep fried ice cream and it was delicous. If you love Mexican food or want to see what it really has to offer, you owe it to yourself to check this place out.

Very typical Mexican affair. Food was well sized for portions. They do seem to make their salsas and guacamole. Which were tasty and did add additional flavors to my meal. The service was great, we were there 1hr before close and they had no issues accommodating us for dinner.

Ordered the Clydes Red Hot Chili, Taco Salad Bowl, Jalapeño Cheese Dip, Kids Mac and Cheese with fries and their chips and salsa! Everything was packed with flavour and piping hot! Well worth the wait! Best meal I’ve had in some time!

It was good! Portion sizes and presentation need work but this could be as simple as replacing those ugly plates that come out of the oven. I gave 3 stars because the server was bad like really bad It felt like her first day. Only 4 tables 2,2,3(us) I even had to show her how to type in a credit card manually due to the machine error, this shouldn't have been a problem to anyone with experience. I have full love for front of house they make sure us chefs don't have to deal with all the personalities that come in. So a bad server will ruin a return visit for me. Truly a shame (P.s Don't let people see a dirty rag while cleaning tables during covid that thing was full of all kinds of gross)

Great meat lovers Nachos. Real meat and loads of cheese. Dish size is too big for one person but it's not enough to share. My lime margarita was delicious.
