The location of this restaurant is not necessarily the best, at an intersection next to the highway and residential buildings. It's hard to find a parking spot during peak hours and weekends, but you absolutely need to get out of your way to go eat at this place. Great food like you would expect in an excellent European bistro. The chef has been working there for over 15 years. You have to try the onion soup, the braised beef, the mussels (in all flavours) and the apple pie in a pizza crust. The Ossobuco is a very popular dish that I haven't been able to try yet; they always run out. Last time we went there, we ordered several imported beers by the bottle and Christophe provided cups so we could do a beer tasting of our own. Ambiance is amazing and the place is cozy, like a tavern mixed with a cabin. You really need to book in advance if you want to go during the weekends.

Best mussels I’ve ever had. Actually, the only mussels I’ve ever had, but man they’re delicious. The selection is huge and I don’t doubt that everything on the menu is amazing. The food was served quite fast and the waiter was very kind and regularly checked up on us. Overall a very warm and welcoming environment inside the restaurant as well.

The mussels were very good. A half a kilo was much more than I expected. The dessert was disappointing, got the waffle and it wasn't crispy at all, either it's not made in-house or it wasn't freshly made, although it was covered in a delicious homemade whip cream that saved it from being a complete disappointment. Service was very good and prices are reasonable. I would recommend this place and would go again.

This is possibly my favorite place for my gastronomical "holy trinity" great food,great drinks,great ambiance. The concept isn't new in the greater Montreal area- personal imports of less know or less accessible beers that you can't get in the store or the SAQ but this place just executes it the best when paired with great food.there is a sense of simplicity in here and that is in the most complimentary way possible. Great place for the mussle lovers (though my wife said there was some unwashed sand in hers but I still go for 5 stars) Do check for reservations. Highly recommend.

Holy beer! This place has a huge selection of it. Went there with a couple of friends and we were not disappointed. Big menu with a lot of variety. It’s like a fusion of all the different flavours in the world. Service was good and prices were reasonable. The restaurant isn’t situated on a main street, but isn’t far from one. The available parking spaces are very limited, but there’s always space in the streets nearby, so not a deal breaker. Looking forward to the next time!

2018 :Slow service but amazing and funny waiter (Samuel). Food was delicious. Paella was super tasty. Great selection of beers. 120$ with tips for appetizer, meals and drinks for 2. 2021 : staff is incredible as well as beer selection but the food quality has declined a lot. The burgers were dry, both vegan and regular ones. The salad dressing was tasteless. Disappointing but I guess we will return for fries and beers

A lovely ambiance. A jewel in the south shore. Their beer menu is 11 pages long. From delirium to other famous Belgian beers (none come to mind right now) they have the beer you need to feel right at home. Their food menu is varied and distinct. Do you like mussels? They have mussels. During the summer they have a very unique terrace with chairs and tables. It is similar to a man made forest - a micro man made forest. Best of all, if you're allergic to anything. There is a hospital right across the street.

We visited this restaurant yesterday, the waiter greeted us and ask if we want to be inside or outside patio, since it was beautiful we choose outside, the waiter told us to pick any table, when we did he started yelling very loudly at us to pick table for 2, which I thought was very rude, the restaurant was not at all busy. He embarrassed us in front of other guests, the waiter in question has black curly short hair, thinning on top. When we go to restaurant and pay for our dinning experience, we shouldn't have to be subject to any wait staff's abused, an unacceptable behavior.

I love variety and this place has lots of it. Belgian, European and local beers, lots of choices of main dishes, being mussels their specialty. I tried to take pictures of each plate but I forgot once the mussels came :p They were warm, juicy and really tasty. Cozy decor and excellent service. I will go back to try the other dishes.

The name of the place foreshadows the drink options, and might cast an actual shadow on the food options but don't presume the latter takes a second place to the former. We celebrated a family birthday here and every single item was showcasing the kitchen's know-how and care. Beer selections had uncommon items will worth a try. A few scotches also on the menu. Service was apparently short staffed that day but you could not have guessed it by the efficiency of our server.

The burgers and entrees are extraordinary, the beer is to die for, and Christopher is literally the kindest, funniest, and most competent waiter I’ve dealt with. Words can't describe the service I got here this past weekend. We were treated like family, the staff is amazing. Excellent service & spectacular vibe. A hidden gem on the south shore, it's worth the drive even if you are coming straight from Downtown, Laval & west island. A group of us are thinking about hitting up bistro every now and then on Thursday, which is one of the best evenings to as the beers are on special :). Great food too! I was expecting something like 3 Brasseurs, but it was not in the same league. Fine, original, perfectly prepared food, with a gigantic selection of beers. The place itself is a small labyrinth of rooms in various levels. There is a rather large terasse as well. The service was on the slightly long side of things, but nothing terrible. Plus, very kind and pleasant. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised.

Love, love, LOVE this gem on the south shore! Charming décor of a quaint brasserie/bistro, BBB is a staple on Taschereau known for its wide selection of beer and undoubtedly Belgian influenced cuisine. Quickly becoming our favourite restaurant for birthday celebrations with friends and family dinners, they also have a large terrace for outdoor dining and drinks. Drink selection: So. Much. Beer. If you’re a beer lover, you’ll be in heaven. Food selection: Incredible! Our friends and family faves are: the Mussels (of course), especially the Madagascar mussels and the Carbonnade Flamande (like a super tender beer-braised beef stew). And though BBB has been around a long time, they’re always coming up with new seasonal specials. A few specials we’ve sampled: lobster club sandwich, crab cake burgers, Cajun Mac & Cheese (with shrimp and spicy cheetos!). Prices are reasonable, staff is super pleasant. Reservations strongly recommended for a Friday or Saturday evening dinner. Recommending this place to everyone I know, and even managed to convert downtown Montreal foodies to come to BBB regularly with me. It’s well worth crossing the bridge!

Lots of positives in this place, the food, the après-ski ambiance in the city, the beer. The service is usually great, even when the place is packed, which is often. I’d give five stars but our waiter yesterday was terrible, I understand this is an exception but the only thing the guy did right was serve out group of 13 at the same time. I was waiting for the ghost waiter to refill water which never happened, for drinks which he forgot, for bread, all the basic stuff you learn first day on the job. Never once asked us if the food was ok. Coincidentally, we were refused entry with a cake, which I understand and agree with, but if you expect us to be good clients, you need to be good patrons. I will point out that our group was multicultural, and one side of the table was speaking Spanish, although trilingual they couldn’t get service without yelling at the waiter as he walked away. The waiter simply never went to that side of the table. One member of our group had her plate spilled on her as the table was cleared, without apology.
