Location: On the North Shore, behind the hospital. Street parking available. The place: The restaurant is small, simple and clean. There are about a dozen tables or so, and on weekdays, the place seems to fill up during lunch, as it's popular with the locals who work in the area. The goods: I've stopped by twice thus far, and enjoyed both meals. The first time, I ordered the lunch special which comes with soup, a spring roll, a main dish and coffee or tea. I had the pho to start and the shrimp with vegetables on crispy noodles.Everything was fresh, portions were perfect me, and I found each dish to be flavourful. The second time I stopped by, I had the the full pho (so, the regular sized bowl) with rice noodles and wontons. The portion was pretty generous, the broth was tasty and the wontons were good. I'm not 100% sure but it seemed like the wontons were stuffed with minced meat, which isn't something I'm used to. Still good, though I find pork & shrimp to offer more flavour. Service: Friendly! Price point: For the lunch special, it was about $16 ( I forget if this was with tax or not) and the main soup was about $10 including taxes.
