You can make reservations online without worrying about no available tables which is super convenient! Food is super delicious and also nice presentation! Love the beef Benny so so much!!

I just went here and the servers ignored me. When I asked if there were high chairs (had to yell excuse me to get her attention) she said oh maybe (I saw 2). She said it’s a 25 min wait. I said ok and unloaded my 1 year old TRIPLETS and when I came back in she said she didn’t have space. I said excuse me those people are done we can sit there. She continued to say how there are reservations that changed in the time I went to my car (30 seconds). There was nobody waiting just us. I will never go here again and I will be posting a bad review on every outlet possible. This place is RACIST and I left in tears. I am born and raised in Canada and have never ever been turned away at a restaurant because of being Muslim. I am so upset.

Breakfast was amazing. The menu changes changes daily so it's tough to make a recommendation, but we had the Canadian Eggs Benedict, and it was delicious. The back bacon was in its own class, and the eggs were perfect. Hollandaise was great. You have to try their coffee, too.

A very local spot that opened up not too long ago. It's hard to know this place exists if you so not follow them on social media. I always appreciate a restaurant that supports local suppliers that focus on farm to table values. I have to say the smell of the kitchen is reminiscent of when I use to work at a organic grocery/butcher shop who also had similar values. Excellent presentation and taste, you can tell there was love put into the dishes. My only critique would be to salt the potatoes more. would highly reccomend this place to anyone. Is definitely a great brunch joint. Will come back again to try other dishes! Food - 4.5/5 Service - 4/5 (another critique would be to wait until the table asks for the bill before bringing it, or ask if they would like anything else or just the bill. But all in all very friendly and warm service) Atmosphere - 4/5

The restaurant had great ambience, art on the walls, and a cozy feel. The coffee was solid, and the food excellent! The waffle, jalapeno cheddar smokies, and the avocado kimchi toast were all delicious. I would definitely visit again to try more items. It's a small spot so make a reservation before you go so you're not disappointed when you arrive.

I don’t often posts reviews but I feel I must, in this case, because the review from the Muslim lady is SO unfair. I was waiting for my table (which I had reserved weeks in advance) and overheard the conversation between the staff at Yellow Pear and the Muslim lady. She arrived, without a reservation, at the busiest time for this restaurant and refused to accept that customers who had already booked had priority. The exchange, in my opinion, had absolutely nothing to do with race. When a restaurant uses an internet booking system, a convenience we all appreciate, reservations can change/be updated at a moments notice and I believe that is what happened in this case. As it was a Muslim gentleman who brought our food to the table, I really don’t think “race” was an issue. Apart from this unpleasant exchange, the balance of our experience at the Yellow Pear was exceptional. The food was delicious, the service friendly and the atmosphere welcoming. I will definitely be returning with friends in tow. And, again, I will make a reservation well in advance.

Love the yellow pear! I've been here a couple times (precovid). Went to megalomaniac winery when they had their pop up there this summer (2021). It was fabulous!! Fresh and just enough to fill you to satisfaction. They recently reopened their restaurant, so we had to make a reservation for brunch. Food was phenomenal, service was top notch as always. They make you feel like family and the food is always fresh and feels like home - just all around comforting. Love these guys! Can't wait to go back and try their dinner service!

My wife and I recently got married and The Yellow Pear Kitchen catered our wedding in the Niagara Region. We had the most amazing experience working with Nicole and Jay, who are the chefs. They went above and beyond to communicate with us and help us prepare for having a wedding in August 2020 during the pandemic. Aside from impeccable communication and accommodations, the food was outstanding. The Yellow Pear prepares the food fresh at the venue, and uses local ingredients that you can tell are the highest quality. From the salad to the risotto to the steak, everyone was talking about how good the food was for weeks after the wedding. They were also very timely, and it always felt like you had something in front of you to eat. We're very thankful we had the opportunity to work with The Yellow Pear, and would highly recommend them for anyone looking for catering, or to visit their restaurant.

WOW. Went there on a whim, we had heard such amazing things about this place. I messaged the restaurant on Instagram and was connected to the owner right away! Made reservations online (recommended) and we got there for 9am when they opened. Quaint and cozy space, greeted with HUGE smiles! Warm atmosphere, there’s a fireplace and regular and high seating. If you don’t like stools, book regular. I had the king crab Benedict which was absolutely delicious and my hunny had the smoked brisket benny which was equally amazing. Coffee was superb and the orange juice was fresh squeezed. The staff came around to refill coffee frequently and the owner came by to see how the meal was when we were done! Amazing experience, new favourite for sure! HIGHLY recommend this place if you haven’t tried it yet!

My first visit to The Yellow Pear was a wonderful experience. The food was unique and absolutely delicious! Portions were generous and the service friendly. A small casual space which is simple, clean and perfect for a brunch. I highly recommend The Yellow Pear but strongly suggest making reservations! To Sudduf Wyne, I was the person behind you, at the door, waiting to be seated for my reservation. I witnessed your exchange with the hostess and her attempt to reasonably explain why she would not be able to seat you. What you stated in your review is not what happened. The restaurant was busy and you apparently did not have a reservation. Despite having a reservation, I had to wait for a brief period for my table to become available (totally worth it). I suggest you jumped to the wrong conclusion.

Be aware that reservations are required. Unaware and dropping in, they did their best to accommodate my daughter and I and we got an amazing table. Quality of food is phenomenal and I loved the sage sausage for my dish. Presentation was amazing and many unique and creative decor. On a minor note, my coffee preferences (dark roast) were disappointed.

My wife ordered food today and I was blown away at how delicious it was. I had eggs benedict with duck confit and it was the absolute best I've ever had. A very solid portion and the best poached eggs ever. We had it for take out and I will definitely be going to eat in the next time. Amazing.

Yellow Pear serves consistently amazing nutritional food in a quaint comfortable setting. I have enjoyed many items from their menu and they are all great. Today I had the organic rainbow trout and it was incredible, so it was time for me to pass on my review. They are deserving of all of the accolades and recognition they are receiving. First time to visit this place. Had a eggs benedict with smoked salmon accompanied by a bit of salad. The meal is a bit pricey ($18.00) . The plate looked a bit sparse. They could have probably increase the salad servings so as to fill the space on the plate.

First time at Yellow Pear, and I had no idea you needed reservations for a breakfast place. I was told I can stay as long as I leave by a certain time. This would be enough to have me leave but I decided to try this place out since I had to leave by certain time for a previous arrangement anyway. The food was overpriced for breakfast food and it was mediocre at best. Coffee was $3 and poured out of a canister much like the one at a regular cheaper breakfast place; no special taste to it either, not to justify that price. If you want to survive in this town you might want to adjust a few things, this is not Toronto, we don't appreciate "poshy wanna be" if you can't deliver on the plate. Not returning.

Been there many times and always good food and friendly staff. I will always go back. There was one time however, we made reservations and it took past 30 mins to get seated. They however comp the drinks, which was a nice gesture. Hopefully that was a one off. If you haven't been go to the yellow pear they have new food menu every week.

I have to say this was the best meal I've had in a long time, covid has interrupted a lot of my "to try" list, however made these guys a bit more accessible for me if I must say. They made us feel extremely comfortable with the contactless pickup and ordering procedure, however also made it a tad too easy to over order - not a flaw, an observation that frankly, just order the entire menu guys. Thank me later. We got three of their rotating sandwiches, (steak & cheese, brunchwich, duck&pork meatball) to split along with a seasonal peach salad, since we couldn't narrow it down to just two dishes, everything was phenomenal, as I write this and go back to see what was in everything I ate, the menus changed a fair amount in the last couple of days. Keep up the fantastic work, tuna sandwich better be there next week ????

Tried this place out after finding them on social media. Being from the North End of St.Catharines, its nice to have something new and exciting in this area. I didn't realize I had to make reservations but the lady was able to get us in quickly regardless. We were able to read the paper and have a coffee in the waiting area in the mean time. I ordered the Duck Confit Eggs Benny and my friend ordered the Salmon Eggs Benny. Both were absolutely amazing. A little pricey at $20 a plate but the meal was filling. We will definitely coming back as a special treat.

Finally made a reservation to check out the restaurant. We have been to the food truck many times and have been very satisfied with the options and quality of the product. Nothing bad at all to say about the store location. We had the chicken and waffles, beef brisket bennie with a side of the jalapeno sausage. Service was great, food was above average. Highly recommended for a brunch option in the region. We will be back!

The Yellow Pear prepared the best eggs Benedict with salmon I have had in years. A simple dish but too often carelessly prepared. Not the Yellow Pear. The sauce was light, fluffy and flavorful - clearly cooked from scratch with excellent fresh ingredients. The eggs were precisely poached to the requisite firmness but retaining the special runny egg, essential to the Benedict completion. Perfect execution and well worth the price.

First and last visit to this place. Not only were we rushed through the experience but the waitress was miserable and the food was nothing special, not to mention overpriced. I had the avocado toast with a side salad which was drenched in dressing. I had a bad stomachache shortly after leaving. Sure the place is cute but that's about the only positive.

Fantastic service and the people are great, but the food is not good at all. Sorry. It’s trying to be too fancy and honestly missed the mark in more ways than one. Extremely over priced and too many flavours going on at once (between the brisket, eggs, onion, holondaise sauce and avocado mix on my eggs benny all at once, it was a cluster of flavours that just made me feel sick to my stomach). We keep going back bringing different friends each time to introduce them to the incredible food of great value, giving us an excuse to enjoy yet another great meal at the Pear. Not sure how it is possible, but our most recent visit of February 2, 2019, was the best ever....the food was really tasty and 'fresh' and the service,was fast food speed! Prior to being introduced to the 'Pear' we had minimized our dining out as we were always disappointed. Keep up the great work Pear chefs/owners/staff. We love The Yellow Pear’s brunches and were looking forward to trying their sandwiches now that they have reopened after lockdown. We took our curbside pickup meal to nearby Port Dalhousie Park which is presently open only to Niagara residents. The meal was as spectacular as the view from our picnic table on the beach! The fried chicken sandwich was moist and crunchy at the same time and absolutely delectable. The Philly cheesesteak on a gorgeous bun was a beef-in-molten-onion-and-cheese lover’s delight. The wedge salad was colourful and very fresh, the avocado perfectly ripe and the beef bacon unusual and tasty. The portions were very large so there were left-overs that we fought over at home! Now we want to try the other sandwiches but we want to have these again too. Just another great reason to live in Niagara.
