Let me start by saying my favourite thing at the keg is the escargot with out the snail lol. I had the Mediterranean cauliflower dish I'm sad to say that when it first arrived I was already put off by the big blobs of tahini allover my plate they reminded me of worms. I asked right away what is this on my plate? She said it was the way the tahini comes out of the bottle YUCK. Plus the cauliflower was way too salty & I had to return it. My boy friend had the halibut fish with extra lobster tails he enjoyed his dinner. So lucky me got to sit there and watch him eat his dinner. I was disappointed that nobody came out to speak to me about my meal not being satisfactory. Considering we spent $100 + I didn't get to have a plate of food. Our server was really nice I didn't get her name but she was super helpful and sweet about the whole situation. I really wish we could have enjoyed our special night out little bit better but we'll try again next month.

Arrived early, (15 minutes). Was met at the door by very polite hostesses who told us that our table was actually ready and waiting for us. We sat and were served a glorious meal. From the appetizers and entres to the very special dessert the entire experience was tasty, professional and very much appreciated as we had looked forward to a great dining choice. We were not disappointed.

I always enjoy my experience at this location and the two times I’ve been frequently the service has been great- as expected, the host was especially friendly and remembered it was my birthday even in the way out. The previous time we went a steak was undercooked and they fixed it promptly, this time one of our steaks was over cooked but we didn’t mention it - though I have no doubts it would have been rectified. Overall I would recommend

Been here twice in the last 2 months. A steak dinner for two with 2 glasses of wine cost about $175. Food was fantastic. Steak was PERFECT. Staff was really friendly. Highly recommend

Awesome, just awesome. Sharra was amazing. Very attentive to our needs the entire time. Always smiling, honest and sincere. I would ask for her again and again. She absolutely deserved every single bit of her tip and worked very hard to make her customers happy. Even her other tables noticed this. Great job Sharra!

Went to the Keg for a birthday dinner and it didn’t live up to the expectations. I had ordered medium rare steak, as did my significant other and it was rare and very chewy. The twice bake potato I had for a side was nothing special and I could make something better at home. Overall, I heard really great things about this Keg but it was disappointing.

This place is a disappointment to me. The staff are not so friendly. They don't have patience to explain what's going on. I ordered a 12oz steak and some appetizers for pick up because there was no dine-in during that time. I was told to wait 30 minutes at the parking which is ok to me. At 30 minutes, I followed up, the girl on the phone did not sound friendly. She said drive up by the front and they will bring it outside. But another 15 minutes went by, I called again to follow up. I told her it's almost 45 minutes, she said they will bring it outside but she raised her voice - "We're busy and it's not that we're not doing nothing here". She could have explained in a nicer way. I also asked for utensils because it's a take out order, the girl said yes it will be included. Alas, at the hotel room, there were no utensils! We have to eat the steak, salad and appetizer by hand. Good thing, the hotel front desk sent us utensils when I asked them if they have any. In fairness, the steak was perfect, but the crunchy fried cauliflower was saggy. 2 orders of calamari, almost half of it was filters, jalapenos and Bell peppers. I would say, find other The Keg locations if you could.

This was my first experience here. We were able to get seats outside right away. Service was great! The food was amazing! I definitely recommend the twice baked potato as a side if you haven't already tried it! Took home a piece of cheesecake that was also so so good. I'd love to go back for more!

My wife and I went here for our friends 80th birthday. Happy birthday Mikey. Had prime rib of course. Fan bleeping tastic. Jody our server was amazing too. Made the evening special. Topped off the evening with the famously delicious Billy Minor pie. Thanks so much to the keg, St Catharines!

Friendly staff members and pretty good dishes! There’s a little waiting time, but it is worthwhile to wait! These photos are just appetizers, and I couldn’t take pictures of the main dishes since I was starving! lol

I always love The Keg Glendale. It's a great place for a decent meal in a great atmosphere. The prime rib tonight was incredible. Perfect medium rare throughout. Delicious. A piece of complimentary Billy Miner Pie for my birthday is always a great treat.

We just left this location and can't say enough good things. Dallas was our server. He was AMAZING. He was very attentive. Brought whatever we needed before we had to ask. All the ladies working were wonderful with our little preschooler. He was flirting with all of them... especially Holly. Food was perfect ... my husband, myself and our little guy really enjoyed the evening. Thank you ❤

The Keg in St Catharines seems to be busy all the time and it is for a reason. The food over all was well executed. Though service was pretty slow, it was quickly forgiven when we got a free ice cream pie dessert because we were celebrating a special occasion. I had prime rib and lobster. Both were cooked perfectly. The beef was tender so was the lobster, not chewy nor overcooked. We ordered baked Brie to share and the waitress was considerate that there were 4 people on the table so she brought us extra toast for the baked Brie. Their sour dough starter was warm and very tasty as usual. Overall I really did enjoy the outing there.

Sadly,our yearly birthday visit just totally sucked for us this year. Salad came out wrong, took 35 mins to get the right one, steak orders came out reversed, and didnt wanna say anything as we were starving n neither of us wanted to wait another 30 mins for a do over. My sons steak was overcooked and unfortunately for me mine was under cooked which for me is just totally disgusting. I didnt eat my steak at all.For sum strange reason they brought us dessert we didnt ask for (we had Subs plus Cake at home) AND also charged us for it. In past years, its always been comped. Sadly, I think we will find a new venue for my sons birthday next year as at $150, it was way too expensive for me when all I ate was a scoop of garlic mashed potatoes and an iceberg wedge salad. Sooooo disappointed!!!

The prettiest place in St Catharines that isn't named Adam wickens. It was so good I almost want to move here, and be neighbors with Adam wickens. Highly recommended especially if you got a gift card.

As always the food was delicious! We had the Classic Keg steaks - Teriyaki Sirloin and the Baseball steak. Excellent service by the tag team Dallas and Maddie. Definitely made dinner more entertaining to have some great banter with our servers!

A wonderful night out at the Keg in St Catharines. This restaurant is located in a convenient commercial plaza, inside a historical landmark - The Cotton Mill building. Staff is very warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Service is excellent and fast, and food is delicious. Restaurant and guests follow proper COVID-19 safety measures, which makes us feel safe and enjoyable. Can't wait to go back soon! Highly recommended!

while the staff are friendly and a great atmosphere.... the food is kind of disappointing. I ordered the steak and seafood,the steak was perfect, the seafood not so much. Shame on the Keg, it used to be so good here.... the food standard isn't there anymore.... you can't steam shrimp and scallops.....it should be grilled.... short cut leads to disappointing outcome, it didn't even taste like seafood. The grilled vegetables undercooked. The peppers still had seeds in it, lazy short cuts. Head office should get involved with setting standards and maintaining them. The Keg used to be a decent high end steak place, now it's sub par to the other steak houses.

Prime rib could have been thicker and juicier, for price paid. Otherwise food was good. The service however was stellar! We were placed at the bar due to overload Carly who was behind the bar waited on us, what a server, gave us was fantastic! She saw our needs were met. Best server bar none:) that I have experienced in a long time! She almost made the less than stellar prime rib worth it!. Not only did she served us we'll. I observed every one at that bar got the same treatment!

Ive been to a few different kegs including the mansion in Toronto. The St. Catharines location is by far THE BEST KEG LOCATION!! The presentation of the food was outstanding!!!!! I've never has food plated so well before! We were in food heaven. I wasn't very hungry when I went so I thought I would have a few drinks and something small. I decided on the spicy chicken Nachos. OMG!! The flavor of the chicken was so good the presentation of the food was magnificent! I couldn't finish it all because there was so much. My partner had steak and every bite we took we were saying mmmmm. Every. Single. Bite! MMmmmmm! My daiquiris were so yummy! Staff was friendly and sever was great! Thanks again to the kitchen staff for the best meal ever!! Keep up the great work!

Literally witnessed a mouse run across the floor tonight at dinner and got the attention of management. Manager was very nice and apologetic about it, while bringing over a beer for “being a good sport about it”. Ended up being charged for said beer. Wasn’t looking for a discount but wasn’t looking to be charged more either. Asked the server about the charge and he didn’t even know about the mouse. Just thought the public should know

We just happened upon this Keg. We loved the building, beautiful decor inside. It's nice to dine somewhere where the atmosphere is interesting. Everything was spotless. The glasses were impeccably clean. Washrooms smelled nice and were also clean. Or food was cooked well and very tasty. Our waitor was attentive and courteous. I was stuffed when we left... Lol So ya I'm sure you won't be out here.

Went to this location Aug 10, 2021. We didn’t have reservations but we’re able to get a seat at a high table. Service was outstanding. Food was amazing! I ordered cocktail shrimp, fillet mignon dinner w/ a lobster tail and a Billy Miner Pie. Fantastic! No complaints here. Best keg around. The staff are amazing! Everyone there but, especially Dallas G, Meredith and Karley are exceptional in the service department. The server with the mullet is also cool. Dino is also a gem.

We had escargot, Brie and jelly, tomato and burrata for appetizer ..the plates was empty after..nothing left:) . After we had the sesame tuna and steak + lobster tail. I can assure you it was delicious too. For desert I had mini cream brûlée ...to tell you the truth outside sitting ( when possible) is much nicer! The service was top!

Stopped here to eat back in February 2018 during the winter as we were on our way home and it was a cozy keg to go to. The ghost stories always fascinate me! One of the best reasons to visit a Keg with history! We had the steaks, lobster, escargot, and pie. Definitely a place to come back to!

Good service. Can be extremely busy at times so expect a wait weekend nights. Menu is reasonably priced for a steakhouse in this area. Sirloin and strips seem to be the popular cuts of steak. Expect to pay at least 35 to 43 dollars for entree plus add ons.

Just had dinner here tonight and everything was outstanding. Our waitress Ashley was very professional and friendly. She really knew her stuff! We also had a nice conversation with Gary who is super friendly as well. Our steaks were cooked to absolute perfection and we left extremely happy that we came. Well done!
