If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered chicken tenders and a side ceasar. The chicken tenders were black yet simultaneously soggy....the lettuce was brown wilted and smelled like salmonella. Upon opening the dressing I was overwhelmed with the pungent smell of curdled ceasar dressing. This experience was less than satisfactory. Ew.

Terrible experience. Went here with my 3 friends and our "server" Omar was absolutely terrible. He actually got mad at me and started yelling when I said we need the machine to pay and leave when we had asked for it 2 times before. He then sends the manager over and she's looking at me like I don't know how to use a debit machine because she put in my card and it spit out a blank receipt after I didn't even push a button. Horrible time don't waste your money here and don't give any extra either. they don't deserve it especially Omar.

Great Restaurant. Everything on the menu is a ton of calories though. It's difficult to stick to a healthy diet. The staff is friendly and helpful and the washrooms are clean. The food came out quickly and our drinks were refilled quickly.

first I want to say I'm sad the tiramismoothie (sp?) wasn't on the menu, I'll dream about that later. anyhoodles I'm glad I stopped after a nice hike. don't remember the name but to drink I had stubborn vanilla soda with Smirnoff vanilla, loved it, had the bacon cheesecake sirloin, the cheesecake was better than I expected and my steak was cooked right, the sweet potato fries were actually crispy! Mini donuts were great, the tool provided wasn't easy to use for them, I think a fork is a better option. great server, anticipated my need for a takeout container.

Food was less than savoury to be nice. Overcooked ribs, way too much spice on their wraps, and fries were not prepared well. The presentation was terrible as well. The only good item I ate at this location was the broccoli soup. For the premium price, they should significantly step up their quality of food and presentation. Employees not including the chef's did a wonderful job, and were very pleasant to talk to.

Just returned since the renovations had occured. Great restaurant. Burgers are amazing. The server was fast to get to our table and topped our drinks without having to ask! Overall great dining experience. Would highly recommend!

This is not the first time since the pandemic I have ordered stuff from here with bad service last time was in a line for an hour in the cold. Not impressed.

Our visit was very pleasurable considering covid restrictions. There was a wait due to reduced capacity, but it was quick. They checked vaccine passports and explained regulations while we were waiting so that when our table was ready, we just had to be seated. They were very efficient and organized. Customers and staff were very respectful. Service was very quick and attentive. There was a QR code on the table to get the online menu which I thought was great. You can see more online with pictures for everything. The food and drinks arrived quickly. The food was excellent and more than we could eat. Our server did a wonderful job and seemed to enjoy what she was doing. The prices were reasonable and I would definitely recommend.

Firstly we reserved for 20 people on a Saturday night. They took us and seated us In an area so we were all together. Took us in quickly and for 12 children and 8 adults they were really really fast. Very impressive speed and operation. Our waitress was Annie and she was polite, professional and didn't get overwhelmed once or get an order wrong. She had a system and split the bill between 4 families without a single mistake. Well done, and thanks for a memorable experience.

Kelsey's is a great place to have a casual meal and conversation. It's a nice place to relax and take it easy over an app, or a full meal. Kelsey's was great before too... But they changed it to a roadhouse. They call themselves the original roadhouse and I don't know why... I don't remember them being a roadhouse. I remember them having pictures of celebs all over their walls and an unremermable menu... Sorta like now. Good place to stop for a meal, you'll enjoy it

The Burger 101 is a decent burger with fries for $16.00. The fry’s were decent but not phenomenal, the service was very fast and the spinach dip was simple and tasty as is at most restaurants. However, the gravy was absolutely tasteless, I will compare it to thick water. Other than that my meal was fairly priced for its quality and portion size. The only reason this review is a 3 star is because of the tasteless gravy. Other than that I enjoyed the restaurant it was quiet and relaxing.

I think this is the best Kelsey's in the region. Excellent service, great layout of the restaurant doesn't make it feel so crowded as in the others. Tried the plant life burger, was pretty decent. The real star of the show was the Spin Dip! Can't go to Kelsey's and not have the spin dip!!

Food was major letdown. Fries undercooked/soggy and burger was miniscule. I shouldn't still be hungry when I leave a restaurant (not to mention $50 for two beers, an appetizer and a burger), should've trusted my gut and gone to a&w. Waiter and hostesses were welcoming and the place appears clean/new but there are clearly some issues in the kitchen that need to be addressed, won't be back...

Absolutely hands down best waiter I've ever had. Based on the other reviews, I'm guessing his name is Omar. You'll know who he is after one second of being around him- he's just the funniest guy around. Food is good, never had a problem with it.

I ordered the chicken fried chicken for take out the other day. It was about $18. It literally looks like they heated up a TV dinner and gave it to me. The size of the chicken was ridiculously small. For the money I'm paying, I expected better quality/quantity than this. I've eaten at other Kelsey's locations before, and I've never experienced anything like this.

Went there October 22, 2021 at around 8:30pm, food was amazing, would recommend the salmon nice and seasoned very moist. Didnt get her name but the server was absolutely the best, very attentive. Let's not forget the drinks, route 59 is very refreshing. All covid protocols in place, restaurant clean...I would eat here again.

Typical Kelsey's restaurant - good cold beer and the Kelsey atmosphere. At this particular location we did notice a lot of corners being cut - poor cleaning / supply in washrooms and cold desert that should have been warm. Chicken dishes were good and the staff were very friendly. Needs a little work in the hygiene department and attention to detail, and this location could be solid!

Service was excellent, good not so much I got the park your peppercorn Double-stacked patties lightly-coated with cracked black peppercorns, two onion rings, pesto mayo, Swiss cheese, fresh tomatoes and shredded lettuce. There is no way it was lightly coated, the peppercorns we're almost as thick as the patties.

My friend and I meet there every three months or so. Absolutely no complaints about the food or the service. The only thing I can complain about are their new, super hard, wooden chairs. Supremely uncomfortable for a larger person. I had to sit on the edge because if I sat right back, the edge cut into the backs of my legs. I was never so happy to finish a meal and leave. I hate booths but we're going to have to try that next time or find someplace else to eat.

The chewiest steak in town! Even my 12 year old was dreading having to eat the sirloin because she remembers how tough it is (medium cook). I won't be making that mistake again. On an upnote, they seemed to have added more pieces that actually resemble chicken to the fajitas. Last time, they were shredded bits of mystery meat. My call to the Sudbury manager to mention my disappointment about the lack of chicken breast slices remains unanswered 4 months later

I am not a huge fan of the reno's they did. Before, they had two sections - The bar area and the dining area. Now it's more of an open concept. Nice look, however, I find it very loud no matter where you sit and makes it difficult to speak to those you're with and not as an enjoyable experience.

Nice restaurant since it was recently renovated. Was expecting a have a nice outing upon walking in and reading the nicely printed menu. However the portions of there signature pasta dishes was incredibly small and not even serve with bread! Pasta is incredibly cheap, and least make your guest feel that they got there's money worth. We actually made dinner at home afterwards! Disappointing.

Went there just before the third lockdown, on Jan 4, 2022. Had Lemon Pepper salmon, and Strawberry Rhubarb Lemonade. Both items were amazing, and bartender was very nice. Definitely coming back again, all the way from Mississauga.

We have eaten at this place twice and it has been pleasant both times. But then again Woodstock has that cozy home comfort feeling wherever you go. The food is always fresh tasting, served piping hot & very tasty. The burgers are good and they also accommodate gluten free allergies here which is a plus. This is a go to spot for us.

We stopped in for a drink on our way home from a visitation this evening, and were seated on the patio. We waited for over 15 minutes and despite making eye contact with one of the servers and speaking to someone bussing tables, we never had a server speak to us or take our orders. We ended up having to leave because we had a babysitter to get back to, and no staff members acknowledged us as we walked out either. Very disappointed that we were completely ignored, especially since it wasn’t very busy. I don’t recommend this spot unless you have a lot of free time to sit around and wait.

Overall I was happy with the service and food tonight. I am on a particular diet and I gave instructions on how I wanted my food prepared and it was perfect. The service was friendly and quick. Atmosphere is decent but the noise from the bar area quickly overwhelmed our conversation. Its playoff season so not much can be done but the place was clean and roomy. Kelsey's has been in Sudbury for a few years now and this particular venue used to be my preferred restaurant to dine at. I haven't been to Kelsey's in a few months and was shocked at how low the quality of the establishment dropped ever since I was previously there. The food was okay, but extremely small portions for what you get. Service was terrible and the wait time was horrendous - an hour to get an appetizer and then another twenty-five minutes to get our main course. I also should mention that when i went through to pay for my meal, the new machines they have chose the wrong section of my debit account, which almost put me into overdraft. I will not be returning to this venue in the future.

Yesterday was our second time at the restaurant since the renovations. I love the new look on both the outside (pictured here) and on the inside. The inside has opened up so much and looks a lot bigger now. As for our meal, everyone was was pleased for the most part. I found my buffalo chicken wrap to be a bit smaller than I expected, it’s great taste made up for this. The only negative comment was that we found our waitress to be a bit distracted and not as attentive to our needs as we’d expect. Kelseys is a local favourite of ours so we will be back for sure!

Seated and given menus quickly. It took quite a while for food and drink orders to be taken. Food came quickly. Food quality and quantity has gone a bit downhill. One word comments from diners, blah, soggy, average, chicken breast was too small and the balsamic had no flavor. I could only eat half my nachos, there was no topping below.

Ordered take out a few weeks ago as it was going to storm so couldn’t sit on the patio. We ordered 3 entrees and two of the entrees were cold because they had to remake the third one since it wasn’t fully cooked. My boyfriend got the salmon which is a $22 entree and it was honestly pitiful. Such a tiny piece of salmon, the vegetables on the side maybe equaled to one carrot and a small Caesar salad. I was honestly shocked and could not believe we just spent that amount of money on something like that, and it was cold to top it off!! We probably won’t be ordering from here again.

I used to love this place but after a such an awful experience I will not be back . Over an hour half for my food and it was wrong when I got it . I asked for a double cheese burger and got chicken instead so I had to wait again while they remade it for me . Came after my daughters dance recital. Fried pita for the spinach dip was TERRIBLE. They were all stuck together and only half were cooked. Very disappointing. Gary and Sam are absolutely perfect at the bar and when they’re serving the patio. I’ve never had a bad experience at this location and I plan to come here for a long long time. Id give it barely that as a rating. Both St.Catharine's locations are horrible! Last time my fish sandwich was undercooked, this time at the location near lake St. My "fresh truck style" fries where like mashed potatoes and i only ate 4 bites of my sandwhich. My boyfriend's pasta was so dry it reminded me of butter noodles from my roommate days when i was 20 and we only had spaghetti and butter with a spinkle of cheese. It was supposed to be chicken parm and alfredo on spaghetti. Even the server saw the disappointment but i didnt want to make a scene. Needless to say i will NEVER go back to both locations . We get gift cards every year and they will be passed on and i have scene points but id rather use them on the movies

The last time I was in this restaurant was about five years ago. It didn't impress and was very disappointed in the food. My friend and I decided to give it a try again and we were very impressed! It looks like it was newly renovated and the menu redone. My friend had the Double Burger with Jim Beam sauce. He really enjoyed it!! I had the Messy Fish and it lived up to its name. It was messy! But delicious! I didn't find the fish to be too greasy, just nicely cooked and crispy. Very very nice and we'd return again.

Thus begins the review because I've been notified I'm in the top 20% of restaurant reviewers on Google. Perhaps I can do something with this as a future? Make millions? What can I say... Kelsey's is.. well Kelsey's! Lol. It's your average tap and grill. Where the waitresses wear black mini skirts and tops that accentuate their tip making abilities. Maybe the food is great today maybe not so great. The one thing that is a for sure is that they don't forget the bill. So what else is there to do in this covid 19 pandemic ravaged world where our freedoms have been curtailed and opportunities to engage in public activities restricted? Spend that spare $100 on your family of four by drowning it in a couple pints of beer so the sting of your kids forgetting to thank you for dinner doesn't resonate like it should. Cheers!

Server was great, and quick food, but the portion sizes have gotten so small but the prices are the same. That is disappointing. They've also changed some of their menu items like the spinach dip which now has onions and peppers in it. Their chicken fried chicken is also not that, it is chicken with gravy. If you were hoping for white gravy you won't get that here.

Epic fail. My 16 year old daughter came as part of a large group. We rang in advance to ask if her vegan needs could be met. We were told absolutely. The waitress was good spoke with the chef and came back with the allergy menu to choose from. My daughter chose vegetable fajita's. 10 minutes afterwards the waitress came back and said the chef said he cant do the vegetables as they are cooked in garlic butter so she would need to choose something else. The chef of his own accord should had just cooked the vegetables in olive oil and garlic. My daughter had to choose a salad and have it made with the non vegan items. Lettuce, onion and beetroot. WOW. $11.49 what value. Sadly she is not one to speak up. I rang the manager the next day and he was more concerned that his chef would not say that and neither would his waitress and he didn't know all the facts. How does this matter to me now? He should have apologised and offered her a compensation and that he would ensure it would never happen again. I had to ask for the apology and compensation for my daughter. We will see if we get the voucher in the post. Vegan is sometimes a life choice sometimes a health necessity and giving someone just a salad is disgusting in today's world especially when you ask in advance.

Had to wait at least 10 minutes for someone to take my drink order. Finished a pint of beer and no one came back to take our food order despite the waiter assuring us he would be right back and walking past our table multiple times. Had to go to the bar to square up the bill as no one ever returned to our table. Bar tender asked if we were leaving because the wait was too long and when I answered in the affirmative he was unapologetic and did not seemed surprised in the least as if this was a regular occurance. I think it is important to add that the restaurant was not busy and there were several empty tables. Completely dissatisfied, I would not even recommend this establishment to my ex-wife. I would post zero stars but apparently one star is the least possible.

Clearly it is not a clean place. It made me wonder what the kitchen looked like. I loved kelsey's where i used to live but I would not not suggest anyone to eat at this one if they like there dishes to be clean. This one must have much lower standards.

Took 45 min to get our food and Luke warm and not that busy. I ordered chicken fried chicken with fries and mashed potatoes the gravy that comes with the chicken salty as all hell and I got an extra order of gravy for the fries it was awful not even palatable. The chicken was dry and the waitress was not tending to us very well am not very happy. My girlfriend said that the ribs were bland and her fries were cold. Worst experience ever!! We went as a family tonight and the waitress was absolutely horrible. She took 10 min after we were seated to finally take our order. When food arrived the vegetables were over cooked. Rice was hard and old. Not once did the waitress ask us how we were doing or if we wanted refills. We felt completely abandoned and forgotten. The food was horrible and the customer service we received made it 10x worse. The bill came to $80 I left $81.00 Absolutely would not recommend this place at all. And the waitress I hope she gets fired. Not acceptable anywhere.

I had a negative experience with a Kelsey's in Oakville and when I emailed customer service they were more than happy to make things right and listen to my concerns. I couldn't be more happy with the way the situation was handled. Fantastic customer service and delicious food at the St. Catharines location. Will go back!!

I ordered the Grilled cheese sandwich with onions and mushrooms and bacon, Caesar salad on the side $15.99. The salad was delicious. This sandwich was tasty but there were two whole onions in it! Since it was $16 for a sandwich I thought it would be at least two sandwiches, like a club, but it was merely one sandwich cut up into three pieces to make it look taller. And the first piece had almost nothing on it. My husband ordered the buffalo wrap, $15, and he said it was good. Also, they have redecorated this restaurant. They’ve taken away the carpet (that muted conversations) and the comfy padded chairs (comfy!) so now the atmosphere is more like a cafeteria with a cacophony of voices and sounds that echo through the dining room. The new chairs are a hard wooden and uncomfortable. The cozy family feel is gone. I’ve included a picture of the onions in my sandwich that I brought home with me...at the restaurant there was yet another! Way too much WHOLE onion for one tiny sandwich ????

Decent place for Sudbury, semi family type atmosphere but there really wasn't anything special about the food or restaurant inside. It is located in a nice shopping area with Starbucks and Chapters right next to it, the big cinema behind Starbucks, and Best Buy behind that. Other than location, the prices are average for food that's basically average.

One of the worst restaurant experiences I ever had. We came in as a party of 9. 3 of the steak meals weren’t worth the price at all, each one of them had a problem, including mine. My sister in law found a piece of plastic in her food. And the best part was ordering a VIRGIN piña colada because I am pregnant; and after taking a couple gulps of it I thought something tasted weird. Turns out, it was loaded with alcohol. What if the virgin piña colada was ordered for a child? And they drank the glass because they do not know the difference? Very dangerous and now I will have to check with my doctor to make sure it is no danger to my unborn baby. Severely rattled, frustrated and disappointed. The manager did not even come speak to me about it.

I've gone here 3 years in a row for my birthday! I love going here, it is my favorite place to eat in town. I havent been since they renovated, I'm sure its just as good, if not better.They are so nice! I'm looking forward to going back. Ohh and they do have free funnel sticks on your birthday and they do not feel the need to check your ID for the free desert since you may celebrate at a different time. The food is awesome!

Went for dinner this evening (Sunday) and while normally we love the food and service at this Kelseys location, today was awful to say the least. From wait time to food quality it was a disaster all around. My daughters order came out wrong, when finally it came out it was cold and very sloppy looking. Then my burger was completely dry, but after waiting almost an hour for it,I ate it because I was afraid how long it would take for another...my husbands burger came out as a chicken burger and when it finally came out correct the fries looked like they had been for a childs order. Needless to say it will be a while before we return.

Service was great but the food was disappointing. I ordered a breakfast burger that tasted okay but the burger (meat) fell apart a few bites in. My friends burger was served with raw bacon. The server see this and quickly replaced the burger. Unfortunately the burger the came back out was the same burger just with cooked not raw bacon on top. The burger was sent back. To the kitchen and my friend ordered something else. Safe food handling does not appear to be of top priority here.

Waited at the bar to be seated, waitress behind the bar was cleaning a glass and it squirted all over my clothes and in my face, did not apologize, after I asked "what was that?" she walked over and plunked down napkins and walked away. Worst experience I have ever had. You can renovate all you like to improve the appearance, that doesnt improve the service..I would suggest hiring a decent manager. This was our 5th visit and every visit continued to get worse. Not going back until I here better results. This is my 2nd post, the first one got deleted.

You have been warned!!! The only reason I gave 2 stars, is because waitress took my chicken off bill. Chicken had a burnt smell. Was told it was the grill marks that gave that to it. Husbands burger was so overcooked, it just crumbled. The hash brown was even burnt. Dont waste your money going here. Quality is last on this restaurant's list.

Came in for Dinner on Valentine's Day. The place was packed, luckily we had a reservation. Our server was great- very friendly, chatty, and she genuinely seemed to care that we had a great date night. Tried the special of the night (2 meals for $50), with the mac n cheese balls to start- OMG they were so so so good. Dinner- salmon for me, steak for my date was great as well. Would have liked to see more dessert options but we made do with what was offered and shared the cheesecake. We will definitely be coming back!

The service is top notch, and the manager wanted to address the gaps, but it was too late to recover the evening. My Mother-in-law like to go out to dinner here when we visit. She lives nearby in assisted living and is not into high end gourmet food restaurants. There is a nice selection of entrees, reasonably priced and the service is always good. Nearby is a fairly large shopping mall, if you need to stock up on supplies while passing through, and it's relatively easy off, easy on the QEW if crossing the US border on the way to/from Toronto. Definitely kid friendly.

Terrible experience. I’ve always been happy with Kelsey’s in other cities. Usually the food and service is consistent. This one is awful. We came in around 2 for a late lunch on a weekday. The place was dead so staff members were standing around but they hadn’t cleaned up the floors and tables. They hurried to clean us a table but didn’t dry it. They just threw the menus on the wet table. We sat down. My husband got a twenty dollar noodle dish with five pieces of shrimp. It tasted okay but was a poor value. I got a burger which was totally inedible. It came with three caremalized onions, slimy tomato, brown lettuce, and a hair. The burger patty tasted fishy. They never came by with mustard or condiments but I guess it didnt matter seeing as I only ate a bite which I had to spit out. The waiter came by only to bring us the bill... he didn’t check on us once or seem concerned about serving poor quality food. It was our day off and I didn’t want to ruin our day by complaining. Over fifty dollars for the two dishes and a couple beers. We were not impressed.

I went for dinner two weeks ago on Monday at around 7pm and we were sitting in a booth in the bar and the bartender was our server (mid-aged lady). The restaurant was pretty dead, maybe 6 tables in the whole place but the server didn't bother to ask us how are meal was, didn't smile at us and was very impersonal. I came in about a week or two ago and was not pleased at all. Service was awful, staff was all judgemental and rude, it took about 20 minutes for our server to see us. Food wasn’t even that good. I order chicken wings and wasn’t expecting a miracle, but they were just not well seasoned and cooked right. I do have to say that there was a nice young boy who brought us to our table. Most horrible restaurant I've ever encountered. Avoid this place at all costs. Not only did I not see one smiling staff member and after my experience with the pregnant manager, I can certainly see why. The manager, I believe her name was Tasha? She mumbled her name so I believe that is what she said, she is extremely rude, kitchen over cooked my steak, potatoes were cold and seemed unwilling to help. Got a new steak which was still overcooked, took over 30 mins, where everyone had finished eating and the manager still refused to take the steak off the bill cause they made a new one. Caught a glimpse of the kitchen and it looked dirt as are the washrooms, the restaurant is dusty, filthy and very unkept. Not that I was surprised, as this restaurant is always dead. Kelsey's you need to step it up a notch I assume your restaurant is barely making it as it is, with the lack of quality and service, lack of patrons and frozen foods you serve (we can tell), if this restaurant lasts another 2 years I'd be surprised. DONT EAT HERE! Don't take the risk go to Pat and Marios

I was excited to eat out finally and chose Kelsey’s as I have enjoyed the food at another location. We were a party of 3 and were greeted at seated immediately. It was not busy. Our server was moderately pleasant but our drinks and our food took forever to come. I really don’t mind waiting if the server checks in once in a while and if the food comes out hot and fresh. We ordered very simple, hard to fail dishes. Our fries tasted so hard, cold and stale and our chicken wings were so over cooked it was really hard to chew. I really hate to send food back or complain. I really wish our server had touched our table more frequently but she was MIA and when I had gone to use the restroom, she was chatting up a storm with another staff member. Our experience could have been a lot better.

This place was so amazingly accommodating for my mother's recent 60th birthday party. The manager went so far as to help us sneak in my brother who had driven all the way from New Brunswick to be there through the back door of the restaurant to help us surprise her and even had a few happy tears of her own when she saw my mom's reaction!
