Owners rude and don't care. Had a group (20+) meal there, did not notice they brought appetizers out that were not ordered. When I got the bill I complained. Their reply was you ate the appetizers so now you pay for them. Will never go back.

Well, there is not much to say about this place, except gorgeous! It really is! And again, I've found this place due to a recommendation by Google for dinner and was not disappointed. Super-friendly and helpful staff, cozy interior, and first-class service of course! Got a pasta with jumbo shrimps and chicken (that is coming with Cesar salad, that was super as well!), and was really happy with my decision. I do recommend this place as a great choice for a (romantic) dinner. Thank you guys, keep it up!

Well made pasta, gnocchi was tender, flavors were delicious. Pescatore was rich in flavors, and the sea food was properly cooked. Properly spiced. Value for money. Definitely would recommend to anyone in the area.

If you are in Niagara Falls, Niagara on-the-lake, or St. Catherines, this is the place to dine! The food is deliciously prepared to order, rhe menue is extensive (more than tour average italian restaurant), and the wait staff and managers make you feel like a VIP. Disclosure note: no relation.

My wife and I went to this restaurant with three other couples, halfway through our meal the band started playing in the next room, the noise was so loud that it was impossible for us to speak to each other. I will never return, nor will I recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was ignorant of the owners to have a band playing music starting at 8:00 pm.

This is our go to for a nice outing. The food is always great, portions are huge and the creme brûlée is the best out there. Everything we try is delicious here. The arrive is always great and the servers go above and beyond. The atmosphere is cozy and the drinks are always done perfectly. Love this place! I've also been to a wedding here that was fabulous! They are consistently great here.

My boyfriend's mom and dad used to come her for romantic dates when they were young. The only reason this little Italian gem doesn't get a 5 star from me is because the atmosphere is a bit dated. Besides that, this is true authentic Italian. And the best arancini I've ever had. And that's saying a lot!

Simply, a top rate establishment. The food is very good to excellent (have the gnocchi). Easy to find and great parking. Flawless service. Decor is outstanding and whoever renovated it did a wonderful job. Ate too much and didn't have room for dessert but the cappuccino was fab.

While staying in Niagara Falls we chanced on this place. The homemade pasta was terrific. The service was top notch but relaxed (Thanks Jeffrey) The featured wine was very pleasant. I finished my meal with their in house tiramisu was superlative. We stuck around afterward for the live music which was very enjoyable. A highlight of our 3 night Niagara Falls trip.

Food was delicious, service impeccable. There's an odd musty smell in the entryway, but don't let that dissuade you - it's not present in the dining area proper. Prices are a tad on the high side, this restaurant is better suited for an 'event' as opposed to casual dining. Would absolutely go again - as long as someone else is paying!

My husband and I had a very nice intimate dinner together tonight. Great wine, beer and food. Their house and Caesar salad homemade dressings are very good and we had the Lasagna and gluten free fettucine alfredo. Food and service were excellent! We'll definitely come back when we're in the area again.

It was mouth watering delicious. For apps had the shrimp & calamari then ordered a pizza egg planet , different pastas , wine and spaghettis amazing. Dog were allowed on patio se we enjoyed the food and everything. Just to add more washrooms were clean too Joe was our waiter he was nice

After an exhaustive search for a venue to host a double celebration (first communion/baptism) I feel as though Coppola's essentially came to my rescue. Upon speaking with one of owners, my mind was put at ease, and I just knew we'd be taken care of. On the special day, my husband was able to drop off our centrepieces and cakes ahead of time and once again, he was told, don't worry, we'll take care of it. The excellent service continued with Patrick and his team during our celebration. Not once did I feel uncomfortable to ask them for help - they were always pleased to assist. The food was SO good. After our experience today, I'm sure we'll be back. Really excellent job!! ????????

On 3 separate occasions I've tried to order takeout and the girl says they are to busy for take out. What???? I asked if I came there could I get a table? She replied "yes" what's the differance? We went early on a weekday they opwn at 3 pm we where greeted by the owner one of them and he was busy taking reservations helping bartender set up,which I my self being in the service industry, was just in awe seeing the OWNER help staff set up.for a busy event for that evening, he took the time to chat small talk while he was himself,getting his restaurant ready for the evening ,the food was fresh hot and delicious ???? Simply exceptional experience in all regards at Coppola's Ristorante. Atmosphere is sophisticated while still feeling homey and comfortable. Customer service was incredible, from moment we walked in and were met with a warm welcome until the time we stepped out of the door again and were wished a great evening. Our server was, if not the best server I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, definitely in the top three. Made us feel like we were already old friends and really took the time to not only make sure that our meals were great but also have a real conversation with us as well. Outstanding. Oh and let's not forget about the food! Perfect example of the style all around, high quality ingredients, and awesome flavor balances. Arancini appetizer shell was crispy but light and not soaked down with oil, rice mixture inside fluffy and flavorful. Our main course came with large, tender, and juicy shrimps. A lot of restaurants have a tendency to overcook their shrimp and leave them hard and rubbery, but not here. Dessert was really the cherry on top of the whole experience, rich crème brûlée custard topped with ripe straweberries and whipped cream and just a pinch of black pepper to set off the sweetness of the berries. Needless to say, we will be returning again. Hopefully many times over.

We randomly found this place after shopping at the outlets and what an amazing find! If you are looking for good food, friendly environment, and great service then you need to stop in! The food was all so fresh and delicious, rolls were soft and warm, salads were fresh and crisp with very tasty dressing and the perfect amount of dressing. Spaghetti and meet balls were very tasty and the penne with smoked chicken was wonderful! We will definitely be co.ing back here to try other dishes and snap a picture! I was too excited to eat I forgot!

We were in the area and looking for a place to eat. Long weekend, everywhere was packed. Googled top restaurants and this one came up with good reviews. It was busy but we immediately were seated at a booth which was perfect. The service from start to finish was fast, friendly and professional. The food was exceptional. This was such a pleasant and unexpected find for us today! I read some of the 1 star reviews here and they are really weak, people complaining about the most ridiculous things. You can see that there is history and charm here, so if you can’t get past a more retro decor, you don’t deserve to eat here. Real foodies know that it all comes down to the food. I can’t say enough good things about our authentic Italian experience. Will be loving the leftovers tomorrow!

They seem to have a problem understanding what NO CHEESE MEANS!! I don’t eat cheese (I don’t care if you think it’s yummy or delicious I don’t.) today we ordered 2 meatball subs. One with soup and one no cheese with fries. Well one had cheese and a spilled soup in a produce bag. The soup went into the garbage. The other had cheese all over it which I can’t and won’t eat. I will be beyond sick. So today I paid $33 for French fries. And the other person couldn’t eat her side. So for $33 we got 1 meal we could eat between 2 people. And when you call to complained you get a snotty woman saying what do you want a refund over the phone? Tell me what you want? Just come back and get another one. That’s great. But I work 10 minutes away and don’t have time to do that on my lunch. If I was allergic to fish would they be so not caring about that? I’m irritated. Hungry. And just at the most expensive French fries I’ve ever purchased. (They were also cold by the time I got back to work)

I have issues with Monosodium Glutamate (MSG). It causes me to go into cardiac ahrrythmia and requires admission to a hospital to resolve. Coppola's informed me that they are a restaurant that does not use MSG or many of it's equivalents. They also worked with me to avoid those food naturally high in Glutamate. A well informed staff. The food was fantastic and did not require the use of MSG to artificially enhace it's flavors. I will definitely return there on my next trip to the St. Catharine's area.

Had a great dinner at Coppola's tonight. I haven't been there in 4 years and it's still as amazing as always. We sat on the patio and it was perfect weather. Our waiter was awesome, ( wish I had written his name down). I enjoy sweet wine and he suggested one and I really enjoyed it. I definitely recommend this restaurant for great food, great service and wonderful ambience.

The muscles did not compare to Lake House, my bloody Mary tasted like it was made with tomato juice & I could not taste the vodka, asked for only olives & got none, had to add pepper & ask for Tabasco to get it to taste like a real virgin bloody Mary! Both food dishes were 4+ stars, but drink & muscles brought it down to a 3. One would think they would have a good bloody Mary mix in the house or at least know how to make one from scratch!

I will start by saying servers are great. However the food for all three of us was terrible last Saturday. Two plates were left uneaten. I called Luigie today to tell him and his response was “SORRY TO HEAR THAT” I was shocked! I told him I would post my comments and he said that he was going to offer 1 free meal but because Of my threat I get nothing! Well there were three of us! Bad attitude over all! I was a frequent customer! Never going back!

As an google reviewer I am very harsh to find problems. Them main problem here is u just might eat too much bc the food is sooooo good. I love it here.If you deside to eat some where else most items on the menu are actually around the same price or cheaper. The portion sizes are doubble what you would get any where else i will be sharing my photos of my past experiences with food amount. Most of the times I leave with a take out try after my meal. Yey extra for tommrow ect id think. Any ways really good food. I ate here once and ever since then. I will not be going to the fast food places and other food dine-ins places bc there is no comparison to the competition. We are blown away by this amazing restaurant. We came from Nova Scotia for my wife's cousin's wedding, and have recently become vegan. As soon as the staff discovered our dietary restrictions, the owner spoke with us directly about what options they were able to make for us on the spot - and did not make us feel inappropriate for not being able to eat from the menu provided. My wife and I had already expected to 'eat around the meat', but they were able to accommodate us to the fullest. Our expectations on this restaurant for the food and the staff were already high based upon the reviews, and they met and exceeded every expectation. My wife and I have our own restaurant in Bedford, so our expectations can be quite high. I am still glowing from this experience. We would recommend this venue for both dining as well as event catering. I wish I would have known about this place earlier. Highly recommended. 5 gold stars.

Very nice place for an intimate dinner or a gathering of people. I went here for a volunteer appreciation dinner and it was spectacular. Staff seemed a bit stressed but never took it out on their guests. They were always smiling and had great customer service. Bit pricey for a glass or 2 of wine so I suggest either getting a 1/2 liter or a bottle.

We were recommended the place by a local resident, at first we were shocked by the appeal from the angle that we approached the place, an old wall not too inviting (if you look at it from the other direccion it has a nice look to it) we walked in to encounter extremely nice staff members that were very friendly. The food was great! Pasta super fresh along with salad and bread.

I had absolutely no complaints! My son ordered the feature of the day which was bone-in filet with garlic mashed potato, caesar salad and mixed vegetables. He ate every morsel! My son's girlfriend had the Wild Mushroom Truffled Risotto. The portion, she said, was plentiful so she ate about half and packed the rest home for next day's lunch. Dolce? Absolutely! Make sure to leave room for dessert.

It was my first time at Coppola's with a friend. we went based solely on reviews online. I was very impressed by the service and food at Coppola's. We had the calamari as an appetizer ,probably one of the best calamari i have ever had! I got the fettuccine shrimp alfredo and my friend got the lasagna with meat sauce. Both entrées were delicious. For dessert I opted for the tiramisu cake ( so good) and my friend had the Italian gelato. Let me just say that after a few bites she said " it's so good i want to cry" haha!! we were both happy to have had such a great experience! We will defiantly be back :)

The Salmon pasta we ordered was subpar quality. The salmon was so salty it was literarily unbeatable. The waitress tried to convince us that this is the way it should be. Second concern, the place is very busy, seems like a “mill”, I had a feeling that they could not wait for us to leave and free the table for other guests. Will not be back.

Taste is 5/5. Prices are very outrageous if you ask me. I've had the pleasure to see fancier and bigger restaurants than this place in Toronto which is just 45 mins away and the prices are almost half over there for the same raste and experience... also to sum it up more they forgot to bring our appetizer and said they "forgot about it" & at rhe end when we ordered a chocolate desert... the waiter came back and apologized and saif they were out of chocolate. We paid almost a $100 here for 2 people. Not sure if I'd go again!

I also ended up have 3 shots of espresso as they have an old school machine so it comes out so perfect. Fabulous dining experience. Came here tired and super hungry after a wine tour. Service was prompt and salads and bread were brought to our table within 10 minutes. Food was cooked to perfection and from our table of 8 there was not one complaint. Everything was excellent. I unfortunately forget our waiters name, but he too was excellent. He noticed I had barely touched my entree so even made the point to ask if everything was okay. It was, but we had ordered so much food during our appetizer course I was too full and had to take it home! (It too was delicious.) We were even wished a goodnight upon leaving the restaurant. Such a great experience and we will absolutely be returning.

This restaurant is one of myself and my husbands favourite restaurant and we are never disappointed. We brought friends with us for this visit and they loved it. Our server brought us our warm buns and a big bowl of each ceasar salad as well as garden salad which was a nice touch. We all ordered diffetent meals, penne sorrento, spaghetti and meatballs, veal parmigian and pizza and everything was delicious. The portions are very generous and we ended up bringing leftovers home. The atmosphere was quiet for being such a big busy restaurant. We will definitely be back again. Thank you for a nice evening once again.

We had a small wedding ceremony which followed with dinner at Coppolas. They accommodated us, went above and beyond. They even let us bring our own dessert. Thank you to the staff for letting us take some beautiful family photos in the back conference room. (It was windy and our photo opportunities were limited). My wife and I make it a point to have dinner here once a month and we will continue to return. More restaurants need to follow your business practices. Dine here, you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I went to this place last night, it was the start of our vacation so we thought we would kick it off right. We were seated quickly in a nice little booth that was perfect for 2 or 4 people. Great menu, with quite a few different options. They have great deal for a three coarse meal for two, including half a bottle of win for 60.00, on Thursday evenings. We ordered two mixed drinks, then ordered. Our food came out hot, and fairly quickly, we were the the only people in the restaurant because it was around 5pm, so still early. The salads and entrees were well portioned, limiting waste always good for a restaurant. Both were very tasty my wife had Chicken Parmesan with a side of pasta with marinara. I had large prawns in a strawberry reduction with a side of fettuccine with Alfredo sauce. The only down side was the waitress seamed a little on the rehearsed side, going through the motions, so to speak. The pasta I had was a little sticky, perhaps it was plated before the rest of the meal was ready to go. However the flavour was still good and I still enjoyed the meal. Our bill came out to around 85.00 including drinks and 15% tip. My wife and I will definitely be coming back here.

Sketchy location, but wanted to give it a shot anyway. Food was awful and extremely salty. Frozen entrees are not as salty. Noodles were not fresh and were most likely microwaved. That was the Penny Sorrento. Now for the tortellini... cream sauce was dry which made us think that this dish was also microwaved. And it was also very salty. Bread was very hard, you know when you microwave too long and gets hard when cooling, well, that's it. When we mentioned the salty side of food, we were offered dessert. Decided on the brownie thing to go, well, another microwaved product. We were told to microwave it before eating, it was frozen, that's why!!! It was very expensive for what we got. We would have eaten better food at Scores or even Harvey's. Oh! And the waitress had the personality of a fence. No emotions what so ever.

I found out that the restaurant has a date nite special every thursday. U get appetizer, choice of salad, two entrees and 1/2 ltr of wine for $70 +tax and tips. That is really good value especially with the quality of the food and portion size. It's a must try!

Food was amazing. I had the penne Genova and absolutely loved it. The portion was so huge I took at least a quarter of it home in a doggie bag. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. I wasn't a huge fan of having a band playing (although they were very good) because we were there with a large group. Having a band play made it very difficult to talk to each other. The architecture is beautiful and the atmosphere was wonderful. I cannot wait to go back.

Wow is all I can say from the moment I entered fabulous greeting, which is the owner I think followed up with Outstanding service, and the atmosphere which is warm cozy comfortable and elegant, oh yeah and the food I had the chicken parmesan with a caesar salad this is one to remember and a fantastic place to visit if you are in St Catharines I'm new to the area but this is a gem of mine for sure

We walked in and immediately stepped into a bar area. I imagine this place gets really packed and the bar area makes sense for those who have a longer wait for a free table. There were four of us dining and, though we all ordered different things, the verdict was the same: A-MAZING. The portions were generous, they aced in terms of presentation, and it was all cooked to perfection.

Took my team here for dinner this evening and thought it was quite nice. The apps and entrees were quite delightful. The music was a bit too loud and my fettuccini was clumped. The alfredo sauce was great though, so I hardly noticed. The team all had dessert and waved two thumbs up.

Best Italian food ever, I had the Rissoto with mushrooms and truffle oil and it was fabulous. Service was great and welcoming..our evening ended with amazing deserts! A must go.. Tried to book a reservation but the lady who answered placed me on hold for 10 minutes so I called back and was told to call during the day cause they were too busy to take my reservation. Yep I don't think so, I'll go somewhere else who wants my business. Not very classy. Used to like this place but this just puts a four taste in my mouth.

This place has been around for decades, a testament to how good they are. Classy but not pretentious, with professional wait staff. For the antipastie, we had the Grilled Sausage & Peppers Flat Bread ($12), Grilled housemade flat bread topped with Italian sausage, roasted peppers, melted mozzarella and asiago cheeses. Yummy. My friends son had the Penne al Capone, ($19), Penne pasta with hot sausage, roasted peppers, red onions and mushrooms in a light tomato sauce. He said the sausage was spicy, but that may be an issue more with people that age not liking spicy food than the sausage. My friend had the Gnocchi Amore, ($18), Homemade gnocchi tossed in a asiago rosé sauce. The Gnocchi was prepared perfectly, and the sauce was just enough without being overwhelming. Bravo! I had the Tortellini con Prosciutto e Pollo, ($21), Pasta with grilled chicken, prosciutto, sun dried tomato, spinach in a white wine Asiago cream sauce recommended by our waitress. It was a religious experience.

Literally the WORST meal of my life! We waited over 45 minutes for cheese and bread...and they didn’t bring the bread. We ordered margaritas and the waitresses literally drank them and did not bring them to us. When they finally did (after having 2-3 of their own) we asked for a check and they drank them in front of us. Do NOT go here!

Went there on a Monday night and it happened to be all you can eat Gnocchi and it also came with salad and bread.. I got way too much food but it was all delicious. One of the best salads I have ever had. It was the olive oil that made it taste so great. Definitely plenty of food for the reasonable price and the food is amazing. Will come back for sure.

Coppola's is hands down the best wedding reception I've have ever been to. Maybe I'm a bit biased because I was the bride, but we got so many compliments on our wedding receptions I couldn't imagine it going any better! The food was so elegant, tasty and the potions were very generous. The drinks kept on flowing which kept our guest very happy! The hall was very beautiful, it's like we were transported to Italy for the night. All our guests were extremely happy and impressed with our wedding they bring it up every time we get together. Luigi Coppola and his staff went above and beyond to make our day a memorable one and we can't thank him enough! Myself and my wife went late yesterday afternoon to the restaurant and we intended to do take out dinner as we were travelling around with our Fur kid ! After reading the menu I got talking to Luigi and when he realized our predicament he very kindly offered to accommodate us with a wonderful spot to be seated outside that worked perfectly for all of us . Excellent food! I ordered the gnocchi and it was absolutely delicious. I was pleasantly surprised with how big the portions were and definitely had some food left to take home! The only part that made my experience less than exceptional was that our appetizers came out 2 minutes before our main, which left me feeling rushed to move the appetizer to the side without eating it. I look forward to going back and trying more!
