We got take out here tonight and it did not disappoint! We started with the mushroom brie and tomato goat cheese tarts. The mushroom brie lacked a bit of flavour but the tomato one was delicious. We got their lasagna and bison short rib special - amazing! Both full of flavour, fall off the bone meat. Yum! We can't wait to try other menu items.

My last visit would have gotten a 5 stars. The salad special I had was a perfect balance. All the food at our table was well received. Service was very good. The food generally is very good here. The desserts fantastic. My issue is service can be hit or miss. Many have lamented about absent service and long wait times. Still, you cannot deny they have wonderful offerings. Definitely a foodie spot.

Quaint house turned into a restaurant - outdoor patio - We did mention to our server to allow us time in between dishes and he delivered our dishes in a not pressured timely manner. Bread basket, fresh white bread and the cornmeal bread is excellent. Food presentation nicely plated ~ Requested med. rare and the filet mignon was abit overly done to husband's liking but still tender with favor. Had the lamb and enjoyed it. The wild rice was wonderful. Delicious Dessert is made in house and the lots of selection. Reservations Recommended.

Absolutely wonderful. The server was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. We started with the duck confit potstickers. The mix of flavors of the sweetness of the orange chipotle sauce to the savoury duck was a delight. I had the bison which was on top of asparagus and risotto, all covered in a heavenly red wine sauce and mushrooms. I am still thinking about how good it all was. Everything was done perfectly and was absolutely delicious. My wife had the Arctic Char and the small piece I stole when she wasn't looking let me know she also made an extremely good choice. I really have nothing negative to say about this place. If you're looking for a nice date night, this is it.

We had french onion soup, the rack of lamb & bison ribs. Every single one of them was delicious! Creme brulee was too sweet ,but our server brought us a lemon cake which was quite tasty.. Our server was excellent!! & the food was delicious. We've been there a few times. They are consistent in their service and quality of food.

Excellent food and service. Due to Covid would have liked to see all waiters/ waitresses with masks. All waiters with beards should have beard hair nets & masks. All male workers with facial hair in food facilities are required to wear hair nets due to hair loss.

I have been a patron of this bistro for a number of years. First few experiences were memorable. But I had been disappointed on the last couple visits as the menu and execution seemed uninspired. Last week was our anniversary so I gave Infernos one more go. And YAY! It was back to the perfection I was missing! The rack of lamb with harissa potatoes was perfectly seared and seasoned. My only complaint was the appetizers tasted like pre prepared and frozen.

A while back a friend and I Ordered the "Burger", Crab Cakes, Beef Thai Salad, Madagascar moules frites, Penne Inferno x2, Veal Medallions and 2 pieces of cake. Everything was delicious, but not quite on par with what we remember it being. These are pretty exceptional circumstances, so I'm not going to allow 1 meal to reflect in my overall opinion, which is why I am choosing to give it a 5. I very much look forward to ordering again from Infernos.

I'm visiting from California and was convinced given the other reviews that the food from Inferno's Bistro would be wonderful. I wish I'd had the opportunity to taste it, but unfortunately, Skip the Dishes delivered the wrong order to me and Inferno's Bistro would not remake my order because they said it was too late--it was 7:30 on a Saturday evening. Not sure I've ever encountered a French restaurant that stopped serving food before 8pm!

I was so impressed with my visit to Infernos. The food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding. I highly reccomend the arctic char and home made desserts, although everything we ordered was fantastic. The food came out fast and our server was very friendly and helpful. I highly reccomend Infernos for anyone looking for a great French meal for a reasonable price. I'll definitely be back soon!

We had an awesome dinner. Started with escargot in a tummy sauce with mushrooms and bacon. I had lamb and my husband and veal schnitzel. I have dietary restrictions, so it's always to find a restaurant that can accommodate them. Incredible meal and great service!! Can't wait to go back.

We have ordered from Inferno's 3 times this year, and each time the food and pickup service has been top-notch. We had the roasted beef ribeye meal over Christmas Eve, and the tenderness and flavour of the meat was outstanding. The food is always ready usually within 20 minutes of ordering for pickup. The portion sizes were also very generous and filling. We have also had the coconut mussels several times and they have yet to disappoint on flavour and quality. We can't wait to try their dine-in and patio dining options next year, but until then we will continue to order from here during the pandemic - it has become a favourite spot for us to order from in Winnipeg!

Had a reservation and were seated right away. Drink order took about 5-10 minutes to place, the patio was busier but not full of people. Our server was prompt and polite. The food from the appetizer to the entrees was excellent. Drinks as well. This was our second time at Inferno's and we'll be back.

Ordered the fried chicken sandwhich and it was the BEST chicken sandwhich I've ever had. The coating and flavour was absolute perfection. We also had the beer cheese bacon mussels and they were to die for. My friend is crazy for their Sangria which I can't wait to try when we're able to go back for an indoor/patio dining experience. Sitting on that patio was just a perfect set up for the evening, the food was great starting from the appetizer to the main course, and the desserts too. Ordered the Duck Confit and enjoyed it very much. The grilled salmon salad was also quite a hit! Definitely going back for more!

Great place. Small venue but they are doing the best they can during this pandemic. The patio is definitely recommended during these times. It's gorgeous when the sun goes down and the patio lights turn on. Food is wonderful as well. Great options as well(seafood, meats and vegetables). Highly recommend.

First time going here and it was AMAZING!! One of the best places I have been for food! We got the lobster pot stickers, butternut squash ravioli, stuffed chicken breast and 2 desserts and couldn’t pick out one single complaint or dislike if we tried. We will be back and I recommend this place to anyone! It is a little more expensive but definitely worth the money!

Wasps. Need i say more? My party tried to use the beautiful patio, but the wasps were terrible. Our server was so accommodating in bringing us inside and making sure we had all our orders fresh and correct. We we seated next to a large window, so we felt like we were outside. The food was really good. Perfect portions and beautifully presented. Definitely recommend.

Went on a Thursday evening with my wife for our anniversary dinner. Enjoyed our meals on the patio, there was live music and a nice ambiance. The food was excellent, my wife enjoyed the seared tuna and I had the Bison steak from the specials. Well prepared and decent portions. Overall we enjoyed the experience, we found the music could have been a little bit quieter because at times it felt hard to have a conversation.

I now know why this is rated one of the top restaurants in Winnipeg. We made reservations and had fabulous service. There were 8 dinner specials ranging from filet mignon, duck, pickerel, rack of ribs, lamb, and I ate the sirloin strip which was fantastic. So much choice! My dinner companion told me that is the place to go to for moulet et frites. Tasty appetizers (we tried the escargots and the chicken & beef satay). The desserts looked amazing and were very rich although the chocolate fantasy was a tad dry. We had a great evening and I will be returning with guests!

My girl and I decided to try different restaurants in Winnipeg. Not disappointed by our meal tonight at Inferno's Bistro. While the pictures do not do the meal justice, I assure you it was all well cooked, well seasoned and served very promptly. Calamari was a special appetizer. Cooked to a perfect crispness, and not at all greasy , it went well with the Chipotle dip. The delicate garnish greens were so flavorful! The cucumber had been marinated, flavors of vinaigrette, cumin? and other yummy tastes, came through. My mussels and fries were hot and tastey. I took our server, Janelle's, suggestion, and had to mussels with Thai flavors. Soo good! My daughter had the Penne Inferno. 4 glasses of water and an empty plate later, she was impressed and full! I will be going here again, most definitely!

A great meal awaits you at infernos. The staff are friendly, the service is fast and the prices are fair. Do not expect oversize portions but rather incredibly flavourful dishes that you will savour. Garlic mushrooms are incredible. The inside dining space is small which is really the only downside but once the patio opens in the summer time the dining experience will be enhanced by the extra room.

I'm a returning patron at infernos bistro and I've come back for a good reason. Years ago and now today infernos is one of the few true high dinning experiences in Winnipeg. In a city flooding with Italian or pub food infernos bucks the trend with haute french cuisine. The seared albacore tuna was fantastic and all the seasonal veggies were cooked beautifuly. I took my girlfriend here for Valentine's and it was a wonderful experience. Front greeting staff were courteous and got us swiftly to our seats, and the wait staff was prompt in getting us some water, complimentary bread and our choice of wine. Didn't feel rushed or pushed to make a quick choice, they always seemed to come at the right moment. I will say if there is any complaint at all, the food (just the entres though) did take a while to come to us. I have a severe allergy to all nuts and informed them of this. My guess is that they took some extra precautions to ensure safety before serving us, so if you have allergies let them know and just expect to wait a bit for your delicious food. Expect to pay a little more then most places but this food and atmosphere is definitely worth it.

Excellent food. Service was very good. Ambience is more of a low key family style as opposed to fancy, dressy date place. Nice variety of mains and specials. Was out of a few things the night I went. Moule and frites are very good. Calamari was done nicely, not oily, and lightly battered. Lamb shank was done perfectly although the sauce was a bit sweet for my personal taste. Desserts were both very good. They had a bout 8 to choose from and they all looked amazing. The creme brûlée had the perfect amount of carmalized sugar. Crispy and not overly thick.

This restaurant may be the best in Winnipeg! If I could rate more than 5 stars I would. The patio here is designed very well, with lots of shade (and 'tilting' umbrellas which is a big plus!). This place is wonderful! Fantastic atmosphere, fantastic food.

The four of us went for a meal out to Inferno's. The atmosphere suited conversation and catching up with our friends. The appetizers were delicious and so were the entrees. We enjoyed the oysters done to perfection and steaks to our individual tastes. The wine was well priced - a tempranillo. The service and pricing were amazing. Definitely a return visit is on the horizon.

We were celebrating my friends birthday here, the seats are quite tide and it took them so long to serve the main course, one of the steak was overcooked but they did offered us a new one. Mussels and fries was really good with reasonable price and I liked there cream of mushroom soup . The sides for the lobster and steak was a little boring and cool just sitting there not really completing the dish. The beef tar tar has good flavour but there was a few big chunk that was not chopped properly it was difficult to chew and the toast were brushed with a touch too much oil ,it made the dish so heavy and it took away the nice flavour of the raw beef. Otherwise the service was okay just the spot we were sitting wasnt the best , we constantly have big plates passing on top of our heads. Which was kinda annoying.
