I've always ordered from the Jensen Lakes Brewhouse, and never had any issues. My bf and I were celebrating and thought we'd try this one. That was definitely a bad decision, because the yam fries were soggy and limp, bread for the spinach dip was chewy and old, and the garlic fingers looked like they had been thrown together, with almost NO cheese. I work at a pizza place, and never in my life would I make a pizza like this. Very disappointed, and will not be coming back to this location.

Great service and food today, bar staff was excellent. Had the Baba's Pergoi's forgive the spelling. Came in(4:45pm) before the Oilers game against Seattle at 8pm. Place was busy, but nothing the staff could not handle.

My boyfriend and I love the brewhouse! It was our first time at this location and we were quite disappointed. Our nachos were 1/2 jalapeños and had barely any cheese on them. Most of the chips had no cheese. I got a buffalo chicken wrap and it was not good at all. They put way too much sauce on the wrap. Probably won't return to this location again.

Food was not good. Had chicken wings and they had no flavour plus cold. Wife ordered the clubhouse for $16, was an overpriced disappointment. You could basically make a better sandwich at home. Service was slow and they brought out all the food at once, even the appetizers so they got colder after we finished our mains. I was really looking forward to going here but it’s a sub par Boston pizza. Lots of TV’s for sports though. I won’t be going back and wouldn’t recommend it.

I was disappointed with our meal, asked for No tomatoes, got tomatoes, they didn't have a few things we tried to order,some simple things like chocolate milk, sent food out wrong & spent 16.99 for 8 wings. Which seems ridiculous. They were tiny. The waitress was nice, but never offered anything for the 4-5 mishaps with our order. Won't go back for food, probably not even the over priced drinks.

Staff is awesome! Food is decent for sports bar food. Daily specials and reward program keep me coming back. Also, whoever appointed/decorated this location was very proficient at their job. Cavernous yet cozy. Enough to look at to divert interest from cellphones ????

The service was friendly and quick and she was just overall wonderful and helpful. Her personality is bright and shiny and because of that I would come back to this place. Food and service was good. Only complaint was when we got there we told the lady at the front we wanted to sit on the patio upstairs. She told us to go up and sit at any table that was available. We were doing that when we got stopped by a server on the patio telling us we can't seat ourselves. Found it embarrassing to be scolded like a child loudly enough that other people were staring at us. Was glad that she ended up NOT being our server.

After our Sunday morning Costco visit today we were driving around St Albert trying to decide where to go for brunch. We decided to give Canadian Brewhouse a try. We were so impressed!! The place is clean, lots of comfortable seating, TVs everywhere. Now, how is the brunch? So good! Huge portions and so delicious. I had the steak and eggs and my wife had eggs benny. Christina was our server and she was so friendly and helpful. Service was fantastic. This is a new go to for brunch in St Albert for us.

First time visiting Alberta for 2 weeks and had a chance to celebrated here with friends. The serving were huge with reasonable price. Also had good service for the food and specially the bar where we were attended by Rodnel our bar tender. definitely one of the best food and service we had on our stay. Poor service, slow response. I went with my little nieces, one who needed a booster seat. I asked the waitress twice as well as the bartender. No one brought one to the table, and had to go find them and provide for my niece. I realize that may have been busy, but this would of taken only a minute to retrieve and provide.

We were in the area for a hockey tournament and phoned earlier that day to reserve for a mid-afternoon meal. So well done! Drink orders were handled smoothly, food came out with in an efficient and timely manner. They made sure the hungry teenagers were fed first. They had 32 of us fed and content. We had a fantastic evening. We had pizza and both of them were amazing. Lots of cheese, really nice crust and the toppings were very fresh and tasty. The special of the night was dry ribs and they were really flavourful and cooked perfectly. I brought my 1 year old with us and they had very neat highchairs made out of hockey sticks. The server brought out a sippy cup of water for my daughter. All the servers were friendly and we received prompt service. Looking forward to going again.

I went in on a sunday night for a late snack and a beer. Good deal on the little pizzas... Beer was a little pricey but came in an ice cold glass. Sat at the upstairs bar where I enjoyed a nice warm night with the open patio doors. Had the pleasure of chatting with the bartender, Evan and server Britney. Some good laughs and great atmosphere, I'll be coming back!

Me and my wife went for our anniversary in this location. Omg everything was perfect. The service was excellent, got some good suggestion from our server. The food was as well perfectly done and right on time. The general manager Joon was very helpful and very accommodating on request. Went on my 18th birthday and I got a free shot with whipped cream. Staff was very friendly and the food was magnificent. The entire place gives off such a fun atmosphere that is inviting and friendly. Minors are allowed until 8 so it's a great place to have good food and a fun time.

We went there to celebrate a birthday, placed at a table away from others and basically ignored by server. She forgot plates, utensils & napkins, had to ask for them. She did not take our dishes away making it impossible to eat I comfort, at 400pm hardly anyone there... she took an exorbitantly amount of time to get to us. Will not return!!

The views were quite impressive, the amount of available screens was quite excellent however they're not all at viewable angles (minor problem) also love the water misting for hot days and the table buzzer to communicate with our server was quite innovative; I thought.

We frequent this location with our sports group. We enjoy the atmosphere and menu options over other local bars in St. Albert, however on at least 3 occasions we were told it would be a 40-60 minute wait to get a table for 10 people. There were lots of open tables but they said they wouldn't have a waitress. Yes I understand it happens but this seems to be an ongoing problem that maybe management could look into.

Pretty good service and the Server was very knowledgeable with the menu. The restaurant was a little slow for lunch which was kind of nice. Downside is that the bathrooms are a good distance from restaurant/lounge and in the basement. Overall not bad.

Visited this location a few weeks ago to celebrate a friends birthday. It was an Oilers hockey night so allot of attention was on the game. The place was not full by any means so the wait for a table to hold at least 10 people was not long. The service was fairly good until the end when some of our party had issues with their checks and the server managed to change one for the others food and then it went down hill from there. Thankfully my bill was not an issue. The food was just ok. I struggle with food options due to being gluten free. there were some choices but I was not overly impressed with the product. We will no doubt return but it is not really a place of choice for us.

I came here before and during Covid, it is quite the experience especially if you get a seat on the patio. The patio has turf grass spacious seating and T.V's in all corners. I also heard that they installed mist spray to cool you down during the summer heat but when I went I didn't see any..

Have not ventured out and enjoyed proper hospitality in quite a long time since the pandemic. Our first time checking out the St Albert location and the vegetarian choices. Food was delicious and the quality wasn't sacrificed to make a veggie dish. Our server Emily was very busy but still attentive and the Service Manager Amanda did come by and offer a warm welcome. The GM stopped by to suggest we try the new cauliflower menu item. Definitely worth it. If you're looking for a clean place with good eats and good vibes this is definitely a Must Visit. Will be returning again AAA+

Can't remeber the name of our server but she was a gem. It's a brewhouse, the food won't blow your mind, but the drinks are great, the food is still quite good, and you'll have a good seat to watch the game from no matter where you are. Also they have a rooftop patio and it's soooo good.

I have been here a few times now. I had 2 meals that were just okay. I did find the food a bit overpriced for the portion sizes. My husband ordered a large poutine and it was quite small and quite pricey. The wings we had the first time were really good, and we've ordered tacos before that were pretty good too. I had a skillet that was also quite small and not great either. Unfortunately this won't be my go to for food.

The Canadian Brewhouse is a good time even if your having a midnight snack for 1, dinner for 2 or party of 5. The atmosphere is intesified during a sporting event or even a steak dinner event. Has a great menu selection for pub food/ shareable platters and has a really delicious Yam Fries that can go with your main entree.

Great rooftop patio. Food is nothing special, typical pub grub, nothing great or poor, though I did like the nachos, nice size for sharing. Service can be hit or miss. One time had a party of 15 and great and prompt service. Another time was just 4 of us and was a very busy Friday night on patio. But shouldn't be waiting at our table for over 20 minutes and no waitress coming to take our orders (even though many walked by us). Had to go to the bar area and ask them to send someone to help us.

I went to the Brewhouse for the final Game of the Stanley Cup and the location was busy but we were able to get in quickly. We were sat and told it was our servers first day of being on her own which was fine. She was very attentive and was polite, the manager on duty even stopped by to check in on us to make sure she was doing a good job. Very pleased over all with the speed of service for how busy it was and the food was god and came out in a timely fashion

Me and the wife heard that it had recently opened and decided to have a beer and nacho date. Pulled up and it was clearly very busy, went in and they had room for us immediately, we didn't like the table they tried to give us and accommodated us on the spot. Server was on top of our needs and quite personable manager introduced himself to us and appeared to be very genuinely proud to be part of the opening and the new restaurant. Food was awesome, drinks never ran out. Only thing that was slow but was expected was the debit machine and it was said earlier that they only have 5 for a building that houses 200+. All in all great mini date with the wife and we will be back.

Bought tickets for a lobster dinner tonight. We love lobster but this was the worst lobster we have ever had. Quite sure it wasn’t Atlantic lobster. It was mushy and difficult to extract from the shell. Probably won’t eat there again. UPDATE Canadian Brewhouse General Manager gave us a certificate for a prime rib dinner for 20 people to make up for our bad experience. It was wonderful! They like to take care of their customers and I appreciate that. l am upping my star rating. Our waitress Kaitlyn Jones was amazing.

Just received skip the dishes order from your restaurant. Everything was excellent. Had the beef dip with side onion rings and gravy. Also the Donair fries. Everything tasted authentic and homemade. Convenient location and the building is lovely. Got drinks and food with my best friend, and I am a HUGE black pepper person; they went to the extent of opening a bunch of individual pepper packets in order to bring me a lot of pepper... in fact, they did it twice! My only complaints were that my best friend and I ordered nachos with extra cheese plus feta cheese; honestly felt like there wasn't much cheese. Also, we ordered shots of China Whites... no cinnamon on top. Otherwise, above and beyond!

Had a hankering for wings and came in on a Thursday. If it's not wing night (it wasn't) I expect my wing order to be cooked fresh, not precooked whenever and then dumped back in the fryer to be served served at full price. They were so over done they were hard to eat. They also have that old chicken taste which I know is very hard to avoid when you precook chicken in order to get it out fast. Table was dirty and we had to ask for it to be cleaned off. When we mentioned it to the waitress get this, "she said "awe I'm sorry please come back and don't have the wings". What? Really? Just how should I respond to that and what type of a review should I write? Should I return? Should I tell EVERYONE I know about my experience? Poor, poor service Edit: Aaron reached out to us and invited us down to experience Brewhouse again along with an apology. A few weeks later we did go and although he was out of town he had another member of the management team (Lindsey) take care of us. Lindsey is fantastic and truly puts service ahead of all else. It's great to know our initial experience was not a reflection of the entire location. The food and drinks were great as well, a far better experience. Thank you both for everything especially your time invested in making this right. Appreciate you both!

Accidents/Mistakes happen, but how they are handled make or break the experience. During the Covid restaurant closure we had ordered some food from Brewhouse through skip and we had some missing items from our order. I called the restaurant and spoke to a manager and he was apologetic and wonderful and compensated us for our troubles above and beyond what I ever would have expected. The customer service at this location from all the staff I have encountered has been really remarkable.

August 28 Saturday Afternoon rooftop patio was so busy. Understaffed and slow service and cold food wrong drinks. HOWEVER KAITLYN #1077 was AMAZING. She went above and beyond to be friendly helpful apologetic cute and funny all while almost taking care of the patio on her own. My nachos came out cold i ate them because i was hungry and because they still tasted good but she insisted on taking them off our bill and THANKED US for being so kind and patient. I am very pleased to give the Canadian Brewhouse St Albert South this review. I have been a loyal patron since opening day which I seem to recall was almost 4 years ago. Seldom in that time have i missed a day! It's no secret, so please let me share. It's not the food, although most of the menu I really enjoy. I don't drink alcohol, so partly the attraction for me is the wide variety of non alcoholic beverages available, the location, is awesome for me, but that isn't it either. It is the experience that I don't receive anywhere else. It's the staff. Let me say that again, it's the staff! Shout out to James, Jess, Christina, Brittney, and Tess, Kennedy, and so many new people I am still learning names for. And shout out to the staff behind the scenes that I don't get to see. I've seen others write dialogue on prices, or taste, but I don't have any problems with either. I can, and have been here during a hockey night, and they put an election coverage show on just for me, I've been to rock bottom and took a month vacation there, but no matter what, the staff at Brewhouse south manage to cheer me up. Nothing is always perfect and it's not all things to all people, but its the unlimited attention to detail and consistency is what brings me back. Andy

I ordered a burger here yesterday. Asked them to add mustard. It was like a 5-year-old kid in the kitchen put my burger together. After three bites there was a pile of mustard in the bottom of my plate. I mentioned something to my server and she just thought it was funny. When I pay $18 for a burger I expect it to be a little better than a 5 year old made it. And I also expect more than a little cup of fries. And it's pretty obvious it's a factory thawed out from Frozen burger patty. So $18 for a Burger Baron style burger made poorly and with a wee little cup of fries. Never again!!!

Another pub that turns into a "club" at a certain time with music too loud, and a dance floor that nobody uses. The food is outrageously overpriced for what you get. I paid $18 for a tiny burger that didn't even have fresh meat. That is unacceptable. Nobody at our table was impressed by the food. The service was pretty good, though. I'll never come back here as there are far better places in St. Albert to get much better food for cheaper.

Ordered 2 fountain pops and had one then we were asked if we wanted a refill to which we replied yes, then about 5 mins later they told us they had to change the syrup and did we want water for now? Sure. Then about 5 mins after that we were informed that they no longer had the pop we had ordered and did we want the regular instead of diet option but we did not. So we settled for water which is fine however we were still charged for both fountain pops which I think is not great. Also the service was not the fastest and not very attentive. So end of the day the food is good the service is less than.

UPDATE: We have clarified that this is the location I visited. The Manager has reached out to me and will be calling me to get more details and follow up on this matter. Horrible experience. Waiting for our receipt for over 30 minutes, watching one waitress sitting with a couple guys writing her number on a napkin for him, and the other doing handstands for tips. Horrendous service, do not recommend

The manager went above and beyond for our engagement dinner, my wife and I just moved here from BC and it was our first night out without our son. The staff were very friendly, efficient, and non judgmental. I didn't have anything decent to wear but my ripped work clothes and yet they treated me with the utmost respect. I will return and highly recommend the st Albert Canadian Brewhouse.

WHAT A WEEKEND! Super stoked to be back at my fave Canadian Brewhouse. I couldn't wait to eat a giant plate of nachos and they did not disappoint! Our server Amanda M. was awesome!
