This is a great place to enjoy a quick meal, the sushi was very high quality and the service was very casual and friendly. I think the place is more suited for an intimate meal and might not be the best option for big groups of more than 4 people. Overall, it was a nice experience.

Sushi park was a busy visit. Lots of take out orders and a few dine in guests had to wait. We got there early so we were seated quickly. Great food service was awesome. We went on a Friday night. Food sampled was udon hotpot, chef choice sashimi and spicy tuna rolls.

Never been anywhere with such fast service as this restaurant. Super friendly and accommodating staff and I love hearing the chefs greet you as you walk in, it always brings a smile to my face. One of the best places to eat in St Albert, just based on the atmosphere and customer service alone.

Sashimi is really good quality and very generous, main issue is some cuts I find are better thinner (less generous, like tako). Their rolls are amazing they have good classics and some western ones we love as well. Prompt service and they usually provide a free appetizer of some kind when you dine in. This is our go-to place in St. Albert

I can't stress this enough..you need to try this place. This is one of the best Japanese cuisine restaurants in the Edmonton Area. Sushi Park serves a menu that will excite your taste buds, satisfy your sushi craving and make you come back over and over. The staff are super friendly and very attentive. They always have a full staff on so you never have to wait on a server. The kitchen staff are visible in the dining area where they prepare an assortment of items at speeds only seasoned professionals can obtain. Your food comes fast and fresh. Speaking of fresh, you'll find only the best ingredients here (the tuna belly melts in your mouth ????). The restaurant itself is cozy, inviting and comfortable. It's always a joy to walk in. I have been visiting Sushi Park for about 6 months now and will continue for the foreseeable future.

Wife and I have always wanted to try sushi park for a long time. So we finally had date night without the kids and decided to drop in. Everything was great. The staff were very attentive and polite. The food was great! We even had the pleasure of getting some samples. We will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu

Went here on a whim and had an excellent experience. They fed us more than we could eat, and all of the food was of excellent, very high quality. They gave us free tea and sushi when we arrived, and were quick to accommodate us when we mentioned we could not eat the sushi due to an avocado allergy. When other sushi arrived they were very eager to inform us that it was nowhere near any avocado. Very friendly and accommodating staff, will be back for sure.

Tonight was our first time here, highly recommend!! We are huge sushi lovers and Sushi Park definitely delivered some of the best we've ever had. Prompt service, delicious food and tea. The miso soup was super flavorful, we ordered the Tataki rolls which were nice and creamy, the Hotnight rolls which had the perfect amount of heat, and the sushi sashimi combo where the salmon and tuna were so fresh. We will absolutely be back.

Honestly, one of the worst sushi experiences ever. We ordered take out rolls ( Alaska, Tataki, and some maki rolls), and all of them were poorly served and looked totally unappetizing. Maki rolls were a complete disgrace to the concept in general! This place used to be so much better… Not returning, unfortunately.

Wonderful customer service and fresh, thick cut Sashimi. Their Deluxe Sashimi combo has the fresh shrimp and they just fried the shrimp heads too; no need to ask for those who do eat literally everything. Competitive prices, especially the Udon Chicken noodle, approximately $10. Occasionally they would provide on the house appetizers such as miso soup, salad, or slice of a special roll.

Overall I really enjoyed my experience here. The nigiri was very fresh and tasty and the service was quick and friendly. I found the sushi rolls to be a bit overpriced for the size compared to other places in the Edmonton area, but overall it wasn’t too bad. I would recommend checking this place out and having some of their nigiri + the Japanese fritters!

This Sushi restaurant is a great little spot. Right in the heart of downtown St.Albert. Parking in the back. The selection is diverse and as this little place becomes a little more discovered, I'm sure it will only become better. There is some language barrier, so be clear when placing your order, but it only adds to the authenticity.

Cons: 1. Waited to be seated despite there only being two other parties in the restaurant. 2. Seated between the two other parties despite an otherwise empty restaurant. 3. Wasn't asked for drinks. 4. Underwhelming and uninspired menu, especially in the sushi department. Your basic selection, but nothing creative or interesting. No yellowtail. A restaurant that touts their sushi should have more options: cones, battleships, and futomaki, for instance. 5. A disturbing amount of novelty rolls. (e.g., "Alberta Roll", "Canada Roll", "Crazy Roll") 6. Server took the order incorrectly. 7. Server missed items from my order, despite repeating them back to me. 8. After the party in front of me left, another server rolled out a large trolley with several tubs of dirty dishes. A garbage can hung off the cart only a meter from my food. 9. The sushi boat I was served on was very weathered and had very chipped lacquer along the edges. 10. The croquettes were forgettable and small portions for the cost. 11. Gyoza were obviously frozen and then overcooked in a fryer; the edges were very dry. 12. The server did not return to check on us once, despite now only having two parties. 13. My drink was not refilled once. 14. The beef yakisoba was bland and flavourless. Having a lot of it only made it feel like a chore to eat. 15. The yakisoba was burnt to the pan; the lower portion tasted noticeably of char. 16. Server did not even return to bring the bill. 17. Tired of waiting and so approached the counter for the bill. 18. Was not asked how meal was. Neutral: 1. Sushi aside from tuna and salmon was decent, but unremarkable. Pros: 1. Complimentary barley tea. 2. Food came quickly. 3. (Only the) tuna and salmon sushi were fresh and soft. 4. Large portion of yakisoba. TL;DR: This is far from "the best in St Albert", and the sheer volume of five-star reviews shocks me. Risk it if all you want is tuna or salmon sushi or sashimi and can handle the less-than-stellar service. Yuzen offers a more comprehensive Japanese dining experience with creativity and selection; their savoury ginger yakisoba alone makes it worth returning. Result: $0 tip. Will not return.

A little gem of a place, the reviews aren't exaggerated, maybe understated even. We received excellent attentive service from a few people during our meal and kept receiving free items on the house without asking even though everything was fine. Love going to sushi park the service is always wonderful and it's cheap for good quality sushi. The staff are all family and on semi regular occasion give you something extra to try for free. Wonderful place all around. There’s also vegetarian options available. Quick Notes: • parking in that area is a little finicky I always find it easiest to park by the 7-11 and walk the 50m. • You will not be asked if you want a drink make a point to order it as you sit down or when ordering your meal •Small area so you may have to wait a while always best to reserve a table just in case.

Sushi Park was okay. Pricing seemed a little steep considering how small portion sizes are, and in comparison to other sushi restaurants nearby and in Edmonton. My sushi tasted old and was sloppily put together. My nigiri tasted like it had sat outside for a while and then was packaged for me. Not sure I would come back when there are other more reliable options in St. Albert.

Great cozy restaurant just off the main road in St. Albert. Good selection of sushi, sashimi, and rolls, with their own take on a few. Service was great, also gave a few free samples of different things for our group of 6. Ordered a bottle of Sake that was also quite reasonable and tasty.

Food was very good and the prices were reasonable. The server kept bringing us complimentary samples of other pieces of sushi. Server didn't ask if we wanted anything to drink but she did keep bringing us tea which was nice but it also would have been nice to be offered water or pop or something. The menu is completely sushi from what I recall, no Bento boxes or anything like that. Service was good though until the very end when she brought us our bill and didn't tell us that we go to the counter to pay so we were waiting for her to come back so we could pay and she didn't come back at all. Overall though I plan on going back again

Just the best. We went here on the weekend and it's probably the best Sushi I've had in a very long time. Very reasonable prices we got a bunch of food for the table and with the bill split three ways it was about $25 a person and we had more than enough food for all of us.

Great food quality and a decent selection for traditional Japanese dishes. Prices are reasonable. Seating is hard to get if you don't come early or late, as it is very busy (as good places tend to be). I usually get things like amaebi, various tapas, and chilled sake. I wish there were tamaki sushi, a selection of onigiri, and japanese pickles- but I'm just being pickle-y. Overall a great place to get Japanese food in my neighborhood.

So good! So underrated! Service here is absolutely amazing! I have come here twice and I have not been disappointed. Went in the first time just wanting to get a quick in and out take out order. I SERIOUSLY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHERE ARE THE GOOD RATING COMES FROM. This is the worst Japanese food experiences I ever had. The ICE COLD Sushi Rice taste like sugarcane, it seems like they pour all the sugar they can into the rice. The french kiss roll came too in ICE COLD temperature when it supposed to be deep fried, and comes with load of SAUCES! Nothing but sauces, I feel like I am just eating sauces and nothing else, can not taste the scallop, can not taste crab salad, can not taste anything BUT sauce. The roll itself was soooooooo tiny, even the soy sauce dip is bigger than the sushi roll! And this is roll is $20! As for the sashimi, it was sooooo tiny again, it was kinda fishy too... For the amount of money I paid. THIS IS TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT! This is my first time getting food from this place, and it will be the last time! The restaurant did give me a free side of beans. Honestly, I prefer you make your food right then giving me free food.

Took my son on a date here and we were both very happy. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We were also surprised with a lovely tea to start and some free dumplings and sushi rolls. Food was amazing and my son was raving about how much he loved it and wanted to go back. The building itself was a little old and run down, so I was some what skeptical when we first arrived. But overall a good experience.

I don't leave many reviews. My friend and I went out for a moms night out and we usually go to a place in sherwood Park. We decided to try some place new and absolutely were correct in picking Sushi Park. The food came out quickly, was warm and tasted amazing. The time taken to have the carrots cut into flowers was just a great touch to make the plate set up look appealing! The 4 star is only because the guy who took our order forgot to come back out with our drinks, and we had to ask again for them. Short of that it was a wonderful experience from start to finish, staff were polite and helpful, food was incredible and full of flavor, and the wait time wasn't long at all. 100% will be going back :)

Always such an amazing and soft atmosphere. The music is always casual though never what I expect but it’s ok. The service is amazing and three times that I went I happened to be given some sushi to try. Every single time I was amazed and it made me order that new sushi the next time I went. The prices are medium but the quality is there, this isn’t “Edo rice & fake flavors” it’s actually fresh. Look the quality of the ingredients. Every meal comes with tea and miso soup. If you are a sushi lover, this is a great little sushi place with good selection. We had a mix of sashimi and rolls. Everything came out fresh and well prepared. Sashimi was nice and cold as it should be. Helpful and polite staff and waiting times are usually pretty good. Good selection of rolls for people who might ot be huge sushi fans. I recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh sushi.

Easily the best sushi I've had in the Edmonton area but I'm sure I haven't been everywhere. Will be going again soon. Most restaurants are so similar. Sushi park does one of the only things a restaurant can to distinguish themselves and treats each cutomer like an individual. The staff are friendly and attentive. The service is quick.The food is fresh and delicious, order anything and it will satisfy your craving. They always keep your tea cup refilled and they occasionally offer samples of various rolls and salads. Bonus: instead of mints they have both Werther's Original and Werther's Creamy Filling.

If I could give this place 10/5 I would. I haven't been so pleased with a restaurant experience in a very, very, very long time. The food was excellent, a mixture of both subtle and bold flavors, very fresh fish, and generous portions for the price with beautiful presentation. My husband and I are not super light eaters, and we walked out stuffed for about $20 per person.The staff was courteous, friendly, thoughtful and went well above and beyond in their service. As the cherry on top, the atmosphere was lovely, a good mix of classy and homey. The only negative thing I can think to say is that they're going to make me go broke in the months to come. If you enjoy sushi, I would highly recommend Sushi Park.

Felt the prices were a little high for the serving size and the noodles we had (yakisoba and I forget what my wife had) had too many cheap filler veggies to meat/noodle ratio considering the price and the restaurant was maybe too fast paced for me (they got the meals out very quick, which can definitely be taken as a positive, but I dunno) as I like to lounge and take my time at a place. They offered some free samples which is a nice touch and i feel a little too critical giving it a 3, more a 3.5 IMO, but i would round down before giving it a 4. Worth trying out but I thought it was an average experience.
