We drive by this all the time, but thought maybe it was a bar. Heard about them from word of mouth and glad we came. The hostess and our server Aaron were friendly, knowledgeable and quick. We really enjoyed the lasagna and chicken khorma, but my sister wasn't overly sold by her chicken piccata. Keen to try more dishes for sure!

this is absolutely my favourite place to eat! everything is made fresh to order, including beautiful crispy naan or bread for their amazing paninis! there is freshly cut cripsy vegetables in nicely dressed salad, no bottled sauces!! i've had chowder, chicken soup, minestrone, naan, chicken parmigiana, signature shrimps, bruschetta trio, chicken piccata, chicken khorma, grilled shrimps, cordon bleu and can say, that every single thing was delicious, beautifully presented made with love! definitely will come back there whenever i'm nearby!! very unique place, rare to see these days... update: 03/2021 i went for a breakfast and it was super. soft egg benny with salmon hash and fruits. eggs were nice and soft, lots of salmon, house made hollandaise, crispy hash and freshly cut fruit... that's how it's done!

Best Indian food in St Albert. Call in your order and ask when it will be ready for pickup vs using app time that said 1 hour. Butter chicken had perfect fusion blend of Indian with a western twist, loved it!

I just wanted to say thank you! I ordered the mushroom burger and wow!! The burger was actually cooked proper and perfect!! So many places overcook or undercook their burgers. This patty was thick, juicy, and perfect all the way to the middle. My new favourite place! I ordered using Skip and even the fries were still crispy when they arrived. Last night was our first visit to The Flame Kitchen and I can assure you, it will not be our last. Friendly welcome, prompt service and excellent menu options for each of us! Our server, Sue, was terrific. The cod fish special was incredible. The side of grilled veggies was the best I have had. Finishing with the Tiramisu was heavenly! Can't wait for our next meal from this restaurant!!!

Flame restaurant is a little gem. The chefs (owners) clearly take pride in serving the best possible food. They also have two of the best career wait staff in the area, both Aaron and Sue are absolutely amazing and attentive. I've had many of the dishes on the menu, one of my favourites has to be the chicken kourma along with their garlic naan. Yumm! The portions are large and the prices are cheap. It's my "go to" place to eat when I'm too lazy to cook at home.

We just finished our pick up order of Chicken Khorma, Butter Chicken, Nann Bread and Seafood Fettucini and all I can say is YUMMY! The portions were generous so there is enough for another meal tomorrow. The prices are very reasonable as well. We definitely will order again!

I have eaten at Flame Kitchen a minimum 10 times… seriously this place is amazing. The food is delicious, the service is bar none the best in the city & St. Albert and the prices are so affordable. I’ve had the suppli, mussels, short ribs and risotto, pizza, fish n chips, butter chicken and appies. I have yet to have a meal and experience I haven’t loved. I’ve brought friends and clients and they love it here too. The Flame Kitchen is a hidden gem. Well done guys!!

Ordered the lasagna and it was very tasty, I wish I had more of that sauce over it because it was delicious ???? also ordered the spaghetti bolognese and wow, so creamy and buttery, really can’t pin down the words to describe the good taste of the dish. Also got the chef’s salad and it was fresh and sufficient for two. Going to go back and try more of their food.

We'd had Flame recommended to us by a few people in the neighbourhood, and decided to order a family dinner to celebrate a special occasion. My family have a number of allergies, and the head chef gave me a good half hour of his time to work through different dishes and ingredients in order to find things everyone at home could enjoy. Really, he went above and beyond. And the meal was delicious, and still piping hot after the 15 minute drive home. Everyone – me, my wife, and our kids – enjoyed what we ordered immensely. The roganjosh lamb was especially delicious! Flame is now definitely on our list of places to dine. Which, given the aforementioned allergies, is not a long list; we always treasure finding a place that we can all dine at.

I ordered chicken tikka and was extremely disappointed. The rice had very little flavour and the chicken was so dry I had to put sauce on it at home and even then I could barely choke it down. The large slices of onion and red pepper that came along with it weren’t great either. Never mind the pieces of romaine lettuce?? My wife’s order was no better. She ordered the rib-eye and she told me that she has had better steak on a breakfast menu. Never ordering again

Popped in for a late lunch on a friend's recommendation (thanks S&B) and OH. MY. WORD. The calamari is ridiculously good. So different and so amazing. You just have to try it to believe it. And a seriously good caesar salad. The service was phenomenal. We started with a young man who was polite, proficient, and came by just enough to be excellent. He left for the day and handed us over to our old friend Sue! We had no idea she went to Flame but WOW. So excited to see her there, as she's one of the best servers we've ever had. Her old restaurant lost a true gem when she left. Great catch, Flame! My hubby had seafood linguine and the Italian sausage appie. Can't wait to go back and try something else. Not a single bite of disappointment. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G addition to the St Albert dining scene.

We ordered from Flame last night after hearing great reviews. On the mushroom burger there was a lot of truffle oil it. I phoned the restaurant and one of the managers/owners personally delivered a new burger to my house to make it right. It was delicious! Perfect home made, juicy patty. All the other dishes were great. Outstanding service!

So tonight hubby decided that we try the new “Flame Kitchen”. Lots of parking, easy access and a patio. Nice interior and welcoming seating. Lots of menu selections for a picky eater like me. I already eyeing for the spinach and mushroom egg benedict from their breakfast menu for the time. Our server expertly recommend the menu and was very helpful and super friendly, being attentive to my son as he has braces on, no ices on drinks, straws and yada yada.. We ordered seafood linguine with white wine sauce, rib eye steak and creamy short rib risotto with parmesan cheese. The portion was big enough for everyone, and nothing was left on our plate. Last but not least, we went ahead with the gulai and tiramisu. The gulai was the traditional sweet dough that comes with rose water syrup. One of the owner Api came and checked on our dining experience, and on other patrons as well. We hope business will keep on getting stronger for them, keep up the good food!

If I could give 10 stars I would. I have been living in St. Albert for the past 14 months and we have been trying a new place every week or 2. After driving by the flame for a few months we finally went. This by far is the best food I have had locally and the price was amazing. The service was unbelievable and I want to go back tomorrow! Went for dinner with the fam and we were really impressed with the food. The quality and presentation were tops. There is a dish for everyone. Ample to choose from and the portions are large. They also serve breakfast. Will be trying that next. Absolutely recommend giving this new restaurant a try. St. Albert needs more versatile restaurants like Flame.

Great food, awesome service (thanks Sue!), and even better prices that are actually unbelievably fantastic. I had the seafood linguine dish, and at another restaurant close to the hospital, they charge close to $30 for it. I just expected when the plate came out it would be smaller then, but it wasn't, in fact it may have been bigger, but the icing on the cake, it was only $14!!! Fresh clams (4 or 5), fresh mussels (4 or 5), squid rings, and 3 large shrimp as well. Fantastic value, and great food. Don't change, and you'll be real busy all the time soon enough. Well be back!

My wife and I have been to flame Probably at least 10 to 15 times . I’m sorry for finally writing an official review , but I had to finally do it ! First off the servers here are fantastic. They make you feel welcomed and are always on top of your needs . The food here is a mix of Indian and Italian fusion. You can honestly not go wrong ordering any item of the menu. Our favorites and I’m sure they are popular items with everyone are the short rib risotto , butter chicken , calamari , and bruschetta. They also have fantastic pizzas and naan breads that they make out of their wood burning oven. The prices is what makes this place stand out. They are cooking 25 to 30 dollar entrees for the price of 17 to 20 dollars. The wine list is also fantastic as you can get a very high quality bottle of wine for 35 dollars. It is amazing to see a local restaurant here thrive and more people to recognize this hidden gem in St. Albert. Lastly , we had our wedding rehearsal dinner here last week , and as per usual cannot express how fantastic the food and service was. The price was fair and chef Abhi created a personalized set menu. I wish all the best to your business and my wife and I will be coming as much as we can. Moe

Drove past this restaurant many times and finally made a reservation. Our babysitter couldn't make it so we took our 1 and 4 year old out with another couple. Tried this restaurant for the first time this evening. Owner is providing excellent service with a personal touch. Food was fantastic, but the Tandoori Chicken was exceptional. Support our local restaurants, pick up yourself and help them stay in business during these tough times.

I have been here twice. Once for lunch & once for dinner. Aaron was our server for lunch, the service & food was spectacular. The dinner service was good & the food was very good. I would definitely come back again. For lunch we had the trio of appetizers & mushroom burgers. We also had a couple of beers. I took home part of my lunch. For dinner it was 1 appy & fish & chips, the other was chicken parm. I cant say enough about the fish & chips. Light crispy batter & perfectly cooked flakey fish, french fries were the best I've had in a very long time. My dining companion raved about the chicken parm. I took home part of my dinner. Dinner for two with tip under $40. I will be back either with or without a dining companion.

I cant say enough that the food here is amazing. Our first experience here was making us consider have a standing reservation on Friday nights. Between the 5 of us, we ordered 9 different items with appetizers, main dishes and dessert. EVERYTHING WAS ABSOLUTLEY DELICIOUS. The calamari was different than any other we've had before and by far my favourite, the bruschetta trio disappeared near immediately, the butter chicken tasted better than similar dishes at twice the price I've had and the garlic naan bread was a fusion of a fluffier and crisper bread that gave a wonderful texture. All of the dishes we had were great and we couldnt stop talking about how great each dish was for the price. Portion sizes were great with me feeling very satisfied at the end of the meal and no need for leftovers to take home. The atmosphere was very simple and intended for great conversation with a group coming for dinner. The service was very good with the servers always making sure we were satisfied with drinks and the meal. This restaurant had opened within the past 6 months (this review was written in September 2020) and its definitely a hidden gem that everyone should experience. Highly reccomend. Come hungry and with friends. You'll need help with planning the next item to try on the menu until you've had it all at least once.

One of the best Lasagna I have ever eaten in my 28 years of existence. Chef Unni is an amazing chef. I also had the chicken Penne with vodka sauce, it was extraordinary as well.Do not miss out this gem of a place. Yummy. The waitress was very kind and helpful as well. We went to FLAME tonight based on a reccomendation from friends that were raving about this restaurant. The waitress Sue was super friendly and professional. You can tell she took pride in where she worked. The food was delicious. The burger was one of the best burgers we ever had. The butter chicken with fresh naan bread was so good. You can tell it was made with all fresh ingredients and the prices were soooo reasonable. We cant wait to come for breakfast! WE WILL BE BACK!

Ate at Flame Kitchen, St. Albert tonight and it was excellent! We’re a fussy crew and the food was superb. Had East Asian and Italian meals all of which were great. Good beverage choices too. Wonderful service and a clean nice ambiance added to a very fair and reasonable price. 10/10.
