Browns is one of our favourite places to dine! We’ve been here multiple occasions. The staff are always pleasant, the atmosphere is great, drinks and food are tasty (my favourite is the blackened chicken Alfredo and the peach Bellini) the patio is great, especially for the current covid-19 restrictions. Overall a great casual place to eat

Excellent service however the nachos weren't great with the beans in it and drizzled sour cream and we asked for no jalapenos and ours came with jalapenos. Also would have preferred to have been asked if I wanted my margarita blended (traditional way) or not than to just get it the lazy way, on the rocks.

Not our favorite Brown's but the potential is there! Friendly wait staff and lovely atmosphere in the atrium. The food on several occasions has lacked some thought and care. That said, on an appy we chose not to eat, we were comped without asking.

Over priced below average food, the food portions and prices are a joke. Ordered 2 steak and frites and the steak was approximately 2 oz. The container for the ketchup and garlic dip was bigger then the steak. Save your money and go somewhere else.

We enjoyed lunch here on February 12th. They were set up really well for Covid protocols: plexiglass between booths, folks spaced out, employees masked and hand sanitizer when you come in. We had the cauliflower bites with dip, hot wings and the blackened chicken cowboy salad. Drinks too of course, lol (loved my raspberry margarita, just wish it had a little more liquid than ice) Jade was a pleasure to have as our server and the manager checked in on us as well. This was a great prep to heading out for our groceries.

Extremely small portions for the price. We spent $56.12 to get 2 small fillets of fish. And 2 tacos drowning in veggies and small pieces of fish. The food tastes good except the coleslaw (That was terrible). There are other restaurants out there with the same quality of food but portions are much larger. Extremely Disappointed. Find somewhere else to eat and save your money.

I would def have given this place a higher score if it were not for our servers couldnt-care-less about the customer, attitude, I did not get her name, and probably because she was not interacting with us, not personable at all, , the only time she became a 'human' in our eyes, was when it was time to pay, you know when you are to give them a tip, and we all said the same thing, 'Oh she does speak", she had long blonde hair , thats all I rem ,as a customer who may or may not come back, she really has to learn to interact, and smile!, a whole lot more, did not see her smile not even once, better training is needed there, the food was quite good, I will say that, and thats what I give the 3 stars for, good food, maybe not quite enough portions, but def tasty.

We ordered takeout from here, which included the Blackened Chicken Fettuccine and the Crispy Chicken Ramen, these 2 were delicious and there are no complaints. However, we also got 2 orders of chips and guac, this is where we were left unsatisfied. The "guac" was literally just chunks of hard unripened avocado and pretty much inedible.

As we walked in the, I really appreciated the look of the place and it has a very modern look. We were greeted instantly and taken to our table. To start we ordered the calamari and yam fries. The food was brought to us quickly. The calamaris top layer was cooked and seasoned perfectly except the bottom was rubbery and lacked flavour. The mains we ordered were the quesadillas and chicken Thai soup. The soup was hot and was full of flavour. The quesadilla lacked presentation as the cilantro was just thrown on top and was wilted. The fries were also over cooked. The gravy tasted delicious. All around the service was great. One thing I must put out there is how the dishwasher is visible to everyone and is fairly loud when they run each load. People want to come in and would rather watch the kitchen over how they clean there plates. The vibe of the place is great.

The server took 5 min to get a drink and did not come back once it was empty to the point of having to go to the bar and order on my own, 15 min after it was empty. No one is excited to be here. Overall not a bad place to go for a seated dinner. We went at a busy time without a reservation and got seated in under 30 minutes. Service was slow but it was understandable as they were very busy, and the manager came by and apologized for the long wait for our food. I had the Dragon Bowl with tofu, one of two vegetarian dishes I saw on the menu and it was good, but nothing super special. Others at my table had burgers and they really enjoyed them

It took almost an hour to get the first meal at our table. Them 15 minutes before the entire table was served. The first meal was cold and dry before the final meal was served. We were a table of 4. The server apologized a lot, it wasn’t her fault. Not once did the manager come to talk to us, or explain why it took an hour to get nachos and wings. The table next to us arrived after us, ordered after us, got their appetizers and main course before us. They had paid and left before we got our meals. Epic failure.

Don't get the avocado toast appetizer. At $10 we were expecting several slices, not one slice cut into quarters. My main was the spicy crispy chicken sandwich with fries, which was alright but a little on the expensive side for the portion size (about $17) and hardly spicy. The service was good. I would give 2.5 stars if I were able to.

I visited Brown's Social club with my husband on Oct 31st, 2021. After having our Vaccine passports checked we were seated at the bar as we requested to watch NFL. Our server Mara immediately greeted us and after a few minutes perusing the menu, I ordered an Argentinian Malbec. My husband asked Mara what beers were on tap! She named every beer on tap without hesitation and we were super impressed! The bartender Nam, poured a taster for my husband to try before making a choice. Nam also helped us select our appetizers. The food arrived quickly and it was delicious. We found Nam and Mara to be excellent servers with engaging personalities. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Brown's and will certainly be returning soon.

Ordered from UberEats. Started off by being called and being told there was no pizza and they had taken it off the menu but it must not of refreshed on UberEats. So had to refund through UberEats. Then the fries were completely missing from order, when calling browns social house I was told there was supposed to be another bag which seemed like an excuse considering the bag was barely full and could easily contain a thing of fries. Ordered gravy with the order so that was a waste. The full salad with chicken also seemed to be lacking.... chicken. The side order of salad with an add chicken contained the same amount. Didn’t have issues before but this kind of left a sour taste, considering we had no issues before. But needed up just having to refund most of the order from UberEats.

My favorite place to go in St.Albert. All the staff are amazing, especially the bar staff. Baxter, Josh and Tom are lovely, even when happy hour is very busy they still manage to make conversation with everyone and make sure they get fast service. Been to many Browns social house locations, and while on the pricey side, I have always enjoyed what I ordered . This St. Albert location was horrible. The portions were pathetic, the food had no flavour, and was not cooked very well. My friend wouldn't even eat it, and she was super disappointed that I chose Browns for our outing. I was hungry though, and even though it wasn't good, I ate the tiny portion of poorly made food that was on our plates before the server ever made it around to ask how it was. I had even cleared the plates from our table and placed them on the one beside us so we wouldn't have to look at it anymore. When the server did finally come around and ask how it was, we told her the truth. She mentioned it to her manager, who came over and was extremely rude, and didnt seem to care that our food was bad, saying that everything is made according to their specs. Well if that's the quality of food you want to serve and you dont want feedback on how bad it was, I guess we'll just have to never return to your establishment. We really should have just brought the food back to the bar or kitchen straight away and maybe the results would have been different. But I still think it would have been a courtesy to remove perhaps one of the dishes from our bill, or offer another way to fix the uncomfortable dissappointed experience we had at this restaurant today. I wouldn't bother eating here, save your money for something better tasting and better quality. The server herself was a nice young lady, and the beer was good and thats about it. I would have given 1 star if not for those 2 redeeming qualities.

Didn't stay. If I could give it zero stars I would. They have one wheelchair accessible table in the whole restaurant and it's the social table. We didn't come to sit with other people. Our only other choice was to sit in the indoor patio but it's a rainy day. I don't know why in 2019 restaurants think it's ok to not be more accessible. Ditto for building codes.....shame on designers, engineers and planners. It's not like being paraplegic is hard enough but it would be easier if more places were inclusive.

Very disappointing experience, called in after work for some wine and appetizers. Server was polite. For the $80 we spent for a bottle of wine and $25 for plate of chicken nachos which we counted had 5 cubes of chicken on it and a very scarce amount of topping and chips...there was 3 managers on floor the 3 of them stopped with table beside us asked about their meals and drinks and not one stopped with us. Obviously only interested in bigger bill tables. Will not be returning to this location.

Slow bar service. Servers are quick, bar dude seems to like socializing more than making simple drinks. ****UPDATE**** I got talking with the Manager, who reached out to me. Such an approachable Manager (Craig) who heard my concerns, also acting on them. Craig was extremely pleasant - very much customer orientated. Glad to say I shall return to Browns Social Hall, as I believe Craig really does have the best interest of the customer.

Took my kids and their friends last weekend for a school finale dinner and it was just awful and a complete waste of money! The California burger was over cooked, the gravy tasted liked flour, the chicken ceasar salad lettuce was all yellow and tasted sour. The tuna poke bowl was also filled with more yellow lettuce than rice and was sour. I will never go back to this restaurant ever again! It was such a disappointment for the kids who were so looking forward to going out for dinner after a year through COVID.

Popped in for happy hour snack as we were close by. Really good food here, but the fish taco we couldn't eat as it was covered in cilantro. Far too strong but would have been good otherwise I'm sure. Edit: Absolutely for future reference we would order "without" cilantro as the use of it is far too extensive (even though it says so in the title).

I have been here twice now. My first experience was one of a typical restaurant. Till I went in today during happy our while the restuarant wad dead. I walked onto the patio by myself to have a beer and a quick bite to eat. After sitting there for 5+ min a couple came in, went inside then proceeded back out to the patio. A server finally followed them out and asked if they were ready for drinks. They said no and she said she would go give them a min. I made eye contact with her she proceeded to ignore me and walk back inside. After 5 more min of waiting I decided to leave, I met the server on my way out who didn't even acknowledge I existed. Will not be returning to this location

My husband and I come to browns every so often and always have a good time; the food is good quality, the servers are knowledgeable, and they have great happy hour deals. I always mean to share reviews on line and then never get around to it, but we had an experience about a week ago that was amazing. We have three kids under 7 and brought them in for brunch, even though just getting them in the car was hectic. Once we arrived though, we were taken care of exceptionally by our waitress who's name was Kolby. She acknowledged my kids, made some great recommendations, and patiently answered all my questions about ordering for my son (who has a severe seafood allergy). Halfway through our meal my toddler dissolved into a loud tantrum and was quickly drawing stares, Kolby swooped in and had her giggling in under a minute. Totally went the extra mile! As a regular diner, Browns is always good. But as a mom, this experience was amazing and stress-free! Thanks Browns, you have an amazing team and we will definitely be back!

Definitely won't be back Was in there on Mothers Day. It wasn't overly busy. Service was very poor. It long time to get our first drink. After this we pretty mush just ordered 6 orders of wings which took about 45 minutes to an hour. We finally get hour order which was wrong.(Short by 2 orders of wings) We asked for some hot sause which took 10 minutes get. They Bring out 1 little sauce for 3 of us to share. Then to Top is all off my friend gets 3/4 of the way through his order of wings to realize that few them where really under cooked. So we were all pretty grossed out after that and just wanted to leave. Told our waitress about the Raw Chicken wings and requested our bill , only to wait another 15 minutes just to receive the bill that finally was brought out by a different waitress. While our waitress was working the 3 other tables right next to ours. Very poorly managed! Meanwhile friend by the way threw in the parking lot and was very ill for the next 2 days.

No one to greet you at the door for seating, took forever to be seated even though there was an empty table for 4, server was slow and took 15 minutes to get a drink, waited 30 minutes for appys and very small portions for the price. Service was poor, food was okay, no manager to be found...won't be going back

Last night a group of 8 of us dined at your location. The service was amazing and your staff was very attentive. There was no where for us all to sit together but we made the decision to stay. The food however wasn't great. I chose not to say anything at the time because we were with another family. My fries were very cold and didn't taste like they were made that day. I ordered a poutine and there were maybe 8 fries in the basket. My chicken burger was very dry, crunchy and I didn't eat all of it.because it didn't taste fresh. My daughter ordered a steak and was sad that it was so small and was tasteless, It was however cooked they way she had ordered. Super expensive considering how small it was and her steak came with only a handful of fries. She left still hungry. My husband enjoyed his beef dip and said it was good. I didn't ask the family with us how their meal was so Im assuming they have no complaints.

I came here twice in the same week and had the same server both nights. Her me was Rhonda and she's absolutely incredible!! She is very friendly and very sociable and my friends and I loved having her as a server. She really is great, will be back just because of her!!

A pleasant change from the regular bars I am used to. I would recommend the Dragon Boat stir fry and my wife loved her Dynamite sushi and Bellini. Servers were fun and a pretty cool patio (we didn't sit there though). We will be back.

This is the first time I have been to browns social house. The service was awesome the waitress was kind, and with the contactless menu made excellent recomondations and descriptions of the food. The food was served hot and the portions were large. This was excellent.

Restaurant was dead. Hostess sat us quickly but no one came to our table to take our order. We ended just getting up and leaving and finding another place to eat. Won’t be going back based on this experience. Very unprofessional.

Don't order Skip the Dishes from this location. I ordered from this location a few weeks ago, and the portion size was WAY smaller than when you order it in the restaurant. When you are spending $20 on a meal for lunch plus your Skip fees/tip, I expect to get the same quality that you get while dining in. I ordered the Blackened Chicken Fettuccine and it was more like a side order than a half order. I emailed the restaurant the day of receiving my order and have yet to receive a response.

My boyfriend and I came here before going to see a movie on Saturday and we had such a great experience. The waiter informed us about 10 mins after waiting for our meal that they had forgotten to put our order in and it would be another 10 mins. Management was quick to approach our table and apologize and comp the entire meal and offer us dessert. Great customer service and food! Will be back forsure!

Perfect experience from start to finish. Excellent service and food. The Korean Fried Chicken to start was so good, can't wait to try it again. I had the #28 Dragon Bowl, FANTASTIC ! My Husband had the Baja Fish Tacos and said they were EXCEPTIONAL. Took our toddler and they were super accommodating. Great atmosphere and will return for sure!
