I have never had such great service at a restaurant before. Staff was always making sure that everything was to our liking. They even made sure that the filet mignon was perfectly cooked to the way we wanted it. Their in house beer qas very inexpensive at 5$ per pint, selection of wine was extraordinary and the food was simply amazing. The filet mignon was the best i have ever tasted and the gourmet burger was freakin exceptional. The carrot cake for desert was huge and was amazing itself. I will definitely be going back. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place and the extra tip for the staff was well deserved.

Food quality was good and the server explained the cuts of beef well, however the hostess who seated us was a bit rude when we asked for another table as we wanted a table not surrounded by people. The odd part was the restaurant was empty with all tables being occupied in one area. It didn't look like they were understaffed.

I asked what was the choice of free drink that comes with the room. Cocktails on the menu or a very small choice of beer/wine. Once sit : Things explained to me at the entrance changed, just simple cocktails, not those on the menu. Guess I should have read because the staff was wrong. Got served a 1/2 glass full of pur low quality gin and tonic. (I asked for choices : only Tanqueray) Then I got told that I needed to buy a main course to be able to enjoy my free drink. Even choosing an entree pricier than a main course won't save you. The menu is very expensive and pretty simple. All the show on high quality pieces of meat whitout work in the plates. (Ex : Big cut steamed vegetables, no salt, no butter, no love) The place is all for your eyes. Very nice and catchy decorations. More employees than clients with the place half full. Have less doing nothing and more quality ones that can serve good basics drinks at least ? Put some love in the plates. Switch some of the huge amount of alcohol for quality ones and good tonics instead ? A very good place to waste large amounts of money on pricy meat and wines.

I was staying at the OTL in Sherbrooke. I decided to order from Boefish to have delivered to my room, there was even a little menu in my room to order from. When the food came, in a very timely manner, I'm presented with the bill to sign, at a price higher than the menu stated. I brought this up and showed this to the server who said she didn't know and she left to get a supervisor. The supervisor came and said that the Hotel and the restaurant were 2 separate things, that it was an old menu, and that their prices are on the iPad. She did not leave me another option but to pay for my food. I'm disappointed that she did not honour the prices that were clearly stated on the menu in my room. The food was very tasty.

Great food with amazing ambience. However my girlfriend and I are small eaters and usually bring back a doggy bag. However when traveling it is not possible so we like to share a plate. So when we tried to order a main course with a side dish to share our waiter told us it was not permitted so we ordered two main courses which mean the leftovers had to go to waste, hence the 4 star review.

There aren't many restaurants I give 5 stars to, but this one certainly deserves it. Located inside the OTL hotel, they offer delicious food, desert & drinks. My husband and I went to this restaurant two nights in a row and it was totally worth it. Started with the salmon tartare which was absolutely amazing, had the filet mignon with mash potato (which Im not a fan of but loved it) and vegetables. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked the way I asked it, medium rare and the desert a delicious coffee with alcohol which I don't remember what it was. Also recommend the Cosmopolitan, not to strong, not too sweet. Also great service, despite that the fact the waitress didn't really speak English she made great effort and we could understand each other, that was very much appreciated.

Everything we had was delicious, foie gras and Caesar salad as our appetizers then raviolis and rib steak as our main, were to die for. We live an hour away from Boefish but will definitely come back again and again. We classify this place as our new favorite restaurant. Unlike a lot of people who thinks that it's expensive, I think the price is very reasonable for the quality of food you get. I've eaten in places where they charged me the same price for mediocre food. Next time on the menu, Tomahawk steaks, aged 45 days.

WORST SERVICE EVER!! The server just ignored us the whole time, when we asked for the check we decided not to give a high tip (not because we don't have money or education) she just didn't deserve it. Normally for this type of steak and especially for take-out, it is useful to have a lower doneness level so that the meat can be reheated once at home and reached the desired doneness at that time. Unfortunately, we had to eat our steak cold for fear it would be too tough after adding cooking ... last small negative, the salmon tartare. It was fresh but lacking in taste. In my opinion, it would have been better to opt for a slightly more seasoning, because in the end the tartare tasted like raw salmon with herbs. In conclusion, a pleasant experience and a hearty meal that did not meet my expectations. (Original) Assez bonne expérience avec la boîte repas à emporter pour deux. Pour le prix, il y avait beaucoup d’éléments très savoureux. La purée de pomme de terre à l’ail confit était particulièrement délicieuse. Les légumes étaient tendres et savoureux. Idem pour les crevettes et la soupe. Malheureusement, la pièce maîtresses du repas (le steak tomahawk) n’était pas réussi. Pour commencer, ils ont dû enlever l’os puisque celui-ci était « carbonisé ». Il s’agit déjà là d’un point négatif puisque voir l’os avec la viande fait partie de l’expérience à mon avis. Devoir enlever l’os à cause d’un mauvais contrôle de la cuisson réduit donc l’expérience. Ensuite, l’élément le plus négatif du repas concerne la cuisson de la viande demandé pour la viande qui n’a pas été respectée. Nous avons demandé un steak saignant, il a été servit medium-saignant à certaines places et well done (bien cuit) à d’autres (en grande partie well done). Normalement pour ce genre de steak et surtout en commande à emporter, il est intéressant de d’avoir un degré de cuisson inférieur afin de pouvoir réchauffer la viande une fois à la maison et d’atteindre à ce moment la cuisson voulu. Malheureusement, nous avons dû manger notre steak froid par peur qu’il soit trop coriace après un ajout de cuisson... dernier petit point négatif, le tartare de saumon. Il était frais mais manquait de goût. Il aurais selon moi été préférable d’opter pour un assaisonnement un peu plus relevé, car au final le tartare goutait le saumon crue aux herbes. En conclusion, expérience agréable et repas copieux mais qui n’a pas su atteindre mes attentes.

We came here twice during our stay at the hotel. I have mixed feelings. Restaurant has really great potential but was a little bit of let down. I was really looking forward to trying their steak. It is aged which gives it a nice flavour but the steak was really burned on the sides which was not enjoyable at all. I’ve never had a steak like this. The place is rather expensive so I was expecting their steak to be cooked perfectly. The oysters we really enjoyed, they were fresh and excellent! The tartare was also very tasty but I really think they should vary their sides because every meat and seafood dish has the same sides which gets quite boring and the they’re not even that good. They should offer a variety of sides as options like most restaurants do. I really wanted to love the place but it isn’t quite there yet!

My new favorite place! We discovered this place at the end of July and I’ve been 4 times since ! The best burger in town, hands down! My husband loves the steak. Atmosphere is good, tastefully decorates, food is great, everything perfect but I will have to agree with another review about a specific waiter being perhaps condescending and rushing us. I and coworker placed a order for 1 tomahack by telephone. They said that they were not available and have been replaced with two ribeyes of 35 oz each (almost 1Kg each).
