The food is ok, but nothing great and overpriced. My biggest beef is that they won't honour the 10 dollar coupon that the hotel on the same property provides guests! I forgot to present with my meal. Went back 30 mins later and was told they won't honour unless presented before. Really poor policy. Won't return and recommend others against it.

Fine little Italian themed restaurant. I had the Gnocchi Sorrentina and the dumplings were tasty but the dish was slightly over done and greasy. I tasted the lamb and veal and both were excellent. The tiramisu was fresh and very flavorful. I would definitely come back but order something different.

Visiting Rossland for a few days and staying at Red Mountain. Really glad we decided to come to Gabriella’s for dinner one night! Amazing choice. The only thing better than the food was the service. Ask for Tony, #bestwaiterever!!!

We stumbled across this place accidentally when we got tired of waiting for our food at another local pub and left; (waited for an hour for our 'starter' which never arrived). The staff here at Gabriella's were very accommodating at the late hour we arrived. Gave us a great table. Very good service. And the food was fantastic. It was delicious.....and hot (too many restaurants serve you luke-warm food; agghhh!) A great place to eat! Highly recommended.

The "Tour of Italy" is am amazing dinner experience. You have to book a day ahead but it's so worth it! Also, from the main menu... the mussels are to die for, the bruschetta is divine, and just everything is so good. Shout out to the bar staff as well for yummy cocktails!!

The food was fantastic! I reccomend the Fernie favorite pasta and bacon wrapped scallops. The service was a little on the slow side so plan ahead for that. The food was well worth the wait!

Home made genuine Italian food, in a small town, this is the spot to be at. Rossland is lucky to have this restaurant. I have had dinner here many times and I can say that it is fantastic, every time. To have a place like this to go in such a small town, is really an asset to the community.

Really good, great for food restrictions. Not just a hotel restaurant! I am gluten free and vegan and usually avoid italian places due to lack of available dishes for me but was offered many different things on the menu. I have never had restaurant risotto and they made me a mushroom truffle aruglua risotto that was great!!

I write this review with frustration as I have sat without food for a full HOUR while listening to the screams of children and watching them run rampantly through the restaurant. As I realize the staff is not responsible for the children of subpar parents, they are responsible for the food and there is no good reason for taking an hour to prepare a dinner. I also sat without water for most of this hour. Update: just got my food. Certainly not worth the hour wait or the ringing I now have in my ears.

We had an amazing experience at Gabriella's last night for a friends birthday dinner. We all tried the "Tour of Italy" - an authentic Italian dining experience with a full 6 course meal from different regions of Italy, served in private corner room. Every course was delicious, and before each dish was served the waitress explained the background and cultural significance involved. We have visited every restaurant in Rossland, and I have to say without a doubt, Gabriella's is the best. Highly recommend experiencing the Tour of Italy!

Probably the best pizza anywhere. Other options are great too. Able to order items for take out. Service is unlike the Kootanys, you actually get great service/consistency/experience. Probably the best spot for dinner in town.

Had a rough morning dealing with sick children and pets, had to detour on our road trip to the laundromat across the street and stumbled upon this spot for breakfast between wash cycles. It was incredibly lovely - all the shambolic goings on fell away as I bit into my food. I half considered changing my name and putting on an apron and never leaving. Alas, I had to return to reality when the dryer was finished, but I’ll never forget the zen I floated into on this patio. Food was good, service was lovely, and the tranquility was unparalleled.

Sat without delay, service started off very well. Quick, attentive, knowledgeable about the products the restaurant offers. All great qualities for a server and therefore a restaurant to have. Order the steak as i haven't had one in a while. Came with steak cut fries. It arrived in due time. No complaints there. But was ordered rare and showed up cold inside. Rare steak I've seen anywhere between 115-125, would not fault a cook for anywhere within that range. But this steak was cold in my mouth. So below 95. From there the service became an issue. Neglect, no check up. I usually try and mention an issue. Not for the freebie, because people that pull that crap should be put in jail. But just so the business has a chance to record and rectify issues that they might have. However, with no server presence i just continue to slowly eat. I wasn't about to waste it, and without any evidence left I was unable to charge an offense. Note to servers: the check on your guest after their food arrives is the most important step. Make it quick though, you can't fix a problem unless the guest has the time for it to be fixed within their time; not yours. Overall, not dissatisfied with the restaurant. Beer selection is great with local taps pouring. Classic Italian foods offered which is always welcomed.

Came here for breakfast and it was really good !! The servers could be a bit more attentive but they were all really friendly. I do have to say the self serve water and coffee station was a little weird especially with covid going on and everything.

The best place to go for dinner and even breakfast/coffee in the morning. The restaurant in the hotel is amazing... the patio is beautiful as well. The service was fast, staff super friendly and the food was to die for. Very COVID friendly as well. The cafe that opens during the day was a pleasant surprise! Yummy breakfast/ baked goods, coffee was delicious and employees were super friendly, helpful and just passionate on their jobs! Never been to this area and I was so happy that I stopped in twice!

We dined at the Rossland location in the Prestige Hotel. The service was great and the food outstanding. We had two meals there. The first in the main dining room, the second in the lounge. Both were delicious.

Waited an hour and 20 minutes to get mediocre (at best) food. Ask the manager to comp a beer for the extremely long wait and she wouldn't do it. Not very smart in my opinion... cost of a draft beer or a bad review? Seems like a no-brainer to me if I were the owner I'd be looking into this.

Food made with love!. We stayed at Josie hotel and went to dinner at Gabriella's almost every night (total of seven days). Good portions, flavors, and well priced. Also, the restaurant is quiet at around 52db. Gabriella's is a must go in Rossland.

Didn't get a server for 20 minutes. Once she came to finally get our drink order she seemed very overwhelmed and under trained. Our server says they are so busy because of the holidays!!! So, i suppose my friends, DON'T go during the holidays! My bf ordered a Ribeye anf it was slathered in horsey sauce(not appealing to the eye) the taste wasn't much better!

Depressing if you don't eat dairy. I had a tough time finding any menu items not loaded with Dairy. The meal I ended up with was pretty boring. Dairy free food doesn't need to be boring and you could have at least 1 desert that is dairy free. The service was good and the staff nice but I can't get past not having any food choices. In response to the owner comment: I'm sorry but taking key ingredients out of a dish built around having them does not make for an exciting dish. I mostly eat vegan but did have the seafood cioppino because it at least looked like it was not designed around cheese. The tomatoe sauce was nice but it was not an exciting meal and it just reminded me why I rarely eat out.
