It's a great space with a cool vibe. Service is great and if you're looking for a cocktail, there is no better place in town. Whether upstairs at the Quartermaster bar or downstairs in The Boiler Room, you won't be disappointed. Great (and growing) selection of Gin. Was there most recently for a date night dinner; it was spot-on. Our meal was spaced and timed perfectly. The food was fresh and tasty and as noted above, service was impeccable.

Having mowed my way through the menu I can say the management has crafted an extraordinary experience for their guests. Wow, the Quartermaster Eatery is an all-around phenomenal dining experience! Our server’s recommendations were right on the money. We had the smoked peach bourbon sours to sip- had to order a second round they were so good! Then to start we shared the halibut cheeks (see photo), followed by the BC sturgeon entree, and indulged in the scrumptious salted caramel brownie to finish off! A 10/10 experience, we certainly recommend that you dine here when in Revelstoke.

The food here is amazing!! Like Ah mayyyyy zing!! A Revelstoke must eat if you are looking for something delicious and a little higher end. Make sure to make a reso as seating is limited and the place gets packed. Our table had pork belly, steak and fritz, mussels and a few starter salads. Everything was unbelievable. Drinks were also awesome I loved my pisco sour!

1 star for amazing server and bartender super friendly and talented. Management and food we had were not good at all. And once we had mentioned the food wasn't good, management made us feel stupid for what we ordered. I don't suggest going if you want a good meal... very expensive for what you get. I suggest going to le baguette and spending the same amount on 4 times the amount of food. Or go somewhere that management wants you to enjoy your meal and wants you leaving happy. Wolsey, 112, anywhere else in town will want you leaving happy and full.

Adequate food. Overpriced compared to similar restaurant in similar towns. Seemed to be overwhelming the two servers with a 3/4 full house. Waited at the bar an hour before being seated. Server took inordinately long time to take orders. Food took equally long time. Spent three hours here on a Tuesday night. Two hours too long for a beer and a steak salad. Not recommended.

We dined as a group of 21 people at Quartermaster and it did not disappoint. Management was great to deal with in booking our large group and went above and beyond to make our visit the best it could be. All of the food and drinks were on par with the quality you could find in any high end restaurant in Vancouver, we were seriously surprised. The steak for two was one of the top meals I have had in a few years. While not the cheapest spot in town, value, service and quality were all nailed and we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great meal in Revelstoke.

By far the best meal we have ever had! Kristyn was an amazing server in addition to Carly at the bar and the young gentleman runner. the Cote de Boeuf was perfectly seasoned and cooked, the smashed potatoes amazing and the reduction was divine (could seriously drink it straight). The drinks were expertly crafted and presented wonderfully. we couldn't have asked for a better meal to celebrate our anniversary over. We are already planning a return to Revelstoke in the summer and the Quartermaster Eatery is on our list to come back to. thanks for making our weekend getaway so special!

Came in for the Monday night burger and beer special with a group of 6. I ordered the veggie burger with goat cheese added and it was fantastic and huge! Fine beer selection. The server was excellent and unfazed by our annoying distracted behavior. Fries were salty, but delicious.

Just had lunch at the Quartermaster Eatery, the service was helpful and friendly and the food was fantastic! We shared a harissa halloumi sandwich, which came with fries, and a green salad with feta and candied pecans. Both of us were stuffed for under $25. Can't wait to go again.

One example: we ordered a pinot with our dinner and didn't get to taste the bottle until 10 minutes after receiving our entrees (after having to check with a busboy because the server was MIA). Also had to wait about 20 minutes to get our desserts and another 10-15 minutes to finally get our bills. Would still recommend because of the quality of the menu and food preparation but the three stars is based solely on our experience there.

Incredible atmosphere and a well thought out menu. We like to supplement out backcountry hut trips with Revelstoke's finest dining. Before our annual trip up to the Asulkan we dined on Bone in rib eyes and fine wine. The waitress balanced just the right amount of attentiveness and conversation while allowing us to hang out and enjoy our meal. We did have to send one steak back that was cooked beyond what was ordered. The chef disagreed and the whole debacle took almost an hour to resolve. This however is not in line with our previous dining experiences here and should not discourage others from experiencing the Quartermaster.

Enjoyed one of the best NY strip loin steaks I’ve ever tasted. My medium rare was perfectly cooked and very tender. The marinade was very tasteful yet still leaving the traditional steak taste to enjoy. Our waitress Jesse was quick to ensure we were comfortable and with drinks on the way. After ordering and waiting for our meals the owner of the Restaurant/Hotel (Rebekah) came over to welcome us and asked about our day which was a very nice gesture. The hospitality was very lovely. If you are looking for a comfortable place to sit down and enjoy a quality experience I highly recommend stopping in at the Quartermaster.

Ordered the Penicillin cocktail off the boiler room drink menu, which was delicious, but didn't know what was in it until much later, staff couldn't tell me the ingredients, and took quite some time to bring us the drink menu. Turns out the whiskey drink was a scotch drink, but like I said it's delicious. Steak was perfect medium, lobster tail was great, bearnaise sauce was excellent.

We have been to this restaurant many times when skiing at Revelstoke. This year we celebrated New Years Eve with them. They nicked the food out of the park with a black cod main that was cooked perfectly. It can be hard to get good fish in a small town and can be over cooked. This was perfect. Awesome job! Two stars only because the food was very good. Good portions, well presented and very tasty. In short, the service was just awful. After being seated we waited 15 minutes before someone helped us. We had 3 or 4 different servers wait on our table over the course of the night. The server who took our initial orders did not reappear until we were halfway through our meal. Our appetizers took 40 minutes to come out and when they did I was given the wrong dish, leaving my wife to sit and eat while I waited for them to make mine. Meanwhile, the table next to ours received their appetizers and their mains before us even though they arrived 30 minutes after we has been seated. As for our mains, I was looking forward to the duck but after ordering I was informed that they were out. What kind of restaurant runs out of something at 7:15 on a Saturday night when they did not open until 5:30? Again, very good food but the service was unforgivable. Maybe we caught them on an off night but when we're paying $35 a plate we expected so much better than we got.

My husband and I had dinner here last Sunday night on our first ever visit to Revelstoke. Our waiter, Shane, was superb, as was the food, wine, and conversation. Our very passionate French Canadian bartender really knows her stuff... great cocktails!! A huge plus for me was the huge selection of gluten-free items. A safe dessert for someone who is Celiac is a big deal! It was a highlight of our weekend away and we will definitely return!!

I'm kind of conflicted in writing this because there was so much good that went well with my meal here. The appetizer was amazing, the dessert was to die for, however, the problem was the main dish I was served. I found a hair in my meal and a key component was not presented on the plate. The server asked if I would like it redone, to which I agreed, but I was given the same meat that was originally on the plate with the hair and new sides. My partner was finishing her meal as I was receiving my second take at the main dish. I felt that the nonchalant attitude in remedying this faux pas was disconcerting and the absolute disregard in compensating a $100+ bill (with no alcohol) properly, even if it's something as small as taking care of a drink, was atrocious. An establishment that presents itself as higher end shouldn't even be having these issues, nonetheless, it should be able and willing to fix a problem in an appropriate matter when something like this does arise. A potential 5 out 5 night essentially bombed because of a hair in the food and how it was taken care of.

Quartermaster Eatery We stopped overnight in Revelstoke BC on our way to Vernon. We were looking for something more than a fast food place and boy did we find it. Quarter-master’s is attached to the explorer’s hotel. It is located in downtown Revelstoke. We were there on a Thursday night and were able to be seated right away. The service was prompt and very pleasant. The atmosphere was excellent right down to the linens and settings, very modern with clean lines. They have a very good wine selection as would be expected being so close to the Okanagan wine country. We both ordered the happy valley pork ribs with apple salsa and smashed potatoes and veggie slaw. It was excellent. I had never had apple salsa before, it was great. I am searching for the recipes for it. Smashed potatoes and the veggies were all done very well. The portions were a good size yet not over doing it. Finally we came to desert while we did not think we would, we had to try the chocolate bacon sundae. Wow. It was maple ice-cream with whipped ricotta. Candied bacon sprinkled on and to top it off some chocolate covered bacon strips. It was amazing all the flavors were great and wen well together. If ever we find the opportunity to dine in Revelstoke we will dine there.

Probably some of the best quality food in Revelstoke now. Not cheap (mains are around 40$ +-$10) but the quality is actually worth it. This holds its own compared to good restaurants in Vancouver. Would recommend the meat platter for two (can't remember the name) and the bacon appetizer which came with a white wine reduction maple syrup sauce that was amazing. Good place to go for some cocktails or a nice dinner out Will definitely return.

Went to go for dinner on a Sunday at 5:30 right when it opened. Restaurant was completely empty but was turned away because it apparently booked full with reservations for the entire night. I’ve never encountered a restaurant that didn’t accommodate walk ins. I’d understand if it was close to closing and was full of patrons but the place was completely dead. If reservations are mandatory they should say so, rather then lying and saying “recommended”. I wish I could leave zero stars.

High quality ingredients, excellent service, great atmosphere and reasonable prices makes this one of the best restaurants i’ve been to in a while! - definitely worth going to if in Revelstoke! As an added bonus the portions are absolutely enormous! The appetizers were “main” sized and the mains were extra-large on steroids!

Lovely place and amazing service, really impressed with my steak. However my friends steak was overcooked and was sent back, only for the same steak to be brought out again. This was then replaced with another, equally overcooked steak. While mine was delicious it was clearly not rare as I had asked. I highly recommend ordering yours one grade rarer than you would like to ensure getting what you want. The front of house staff did an amazing job of dealing with this issue and cannot thank them enough, and overall very good quality, just a shame that the chef wasn't working to the usual grading when it came to a $50 steak.

We visited Quartermaster on my Birthday and had a fantastic meal! We ordered the focaccia, brown butter cauliflower, kale salad, and steak. All Dishes we're delicious the salad was so flavourful and the fries that came with the steak were unreal. Great selection of wine and top notch cocktails. Servers were also very friendly. Would definitely visit again.

Ordered two daily special appetizers, a daily special burger, and two medium rare steaks. Appetizers and burger was good, and so was the service. Steaks came back medium well and well done, so we sent them back. They came again, one medium rare as requested, but the other steak had a bone across the bottom and was raw near the bone. The atmosphere and service is great, but I do not recommend the steaks here. The server took off the steaks from our bill without us asking, so there is definitely accountability! I’m sure the other entrees are great. Reading other reviews, it seems the chef needs to learn what temperatures steals should be cooked to.

Not what I'd expect from Revelstoke. Cote de Boeuf was unbelievable, Jerk Chicken should be renamed Grilled Chicken and it would be perfect. I hate to say it but anything Jamaican is faaaaar far from here. That aside the Pastry Chef was incredible at her regular job and also as one of our servers. Good teamwork! Enjoyed dinner tremendously despite getting hammered on drinks. Oh yea skip to the fancy mezcal drink definitely the table favourite.

The calamari was pretty lackluster, but the ling cod was AMAZING and the s'mores dessert was OMG so good! The cocktails were delicious too! Great service! At the beginning of the meal, we were told there would be a bit of a wait, which was fine, and they even gave us a round of drinks for free (the wait wasn't that long either)! Can't wait to go back next time we're in Revy

This is our second time to this restaurant and I must say, it is absolutely fantastic. The drink selection is good, the food is fantastic. The calamari is topnotch. The Peruvian chicken is also excellent. I had the special which was a boar chop. 10 outta 10. Our server/bartender was Izzy, who was wonderful. Our first time here was a year ago. This time was during the pandemic. This restaurant is well equipped for service and is operating safely. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the Revelstoke area. We'll definitely be back.
