Surprisingly good food. I wish they wouldn't have hold back on the salt part in their dishes though. But given the older generation living in that part I suppose they had to adjust to the taste of the locals?

Mayne one of the better restaurants in Revelstoke. The waitress is very friendly and she speaks German as well! The food was awesome. We had a 5 curry platter with a stack of naan bread, rice, and some sort of thin east indian bread (fried).

One of the worst indian curries I ever had. And service was so bad. They serve the naan bread 5 mins before the curries. No plates served, asked for the plates for the appetizers. Butter chicken was just a tomato soup with little chicken chunks. Rice was not fresh. Not recommending to anyone. Waste of time and money.

It was too hot to cook so I thought I would stop in for the chicken schnitzel, and as usual it was perfect. The schnitzel was unbelievable and the potatoes and vegetables reminded me of my moms home cooking... if you are in Revelstoke and can only eat at one place, this is the place you need to eat .

I have certainly had better Indian food for less. The Samosas and Dahl were too salty, and the Butter Chicken was bland with very little actual chicken. That said, look at this presentation.

Pretty mild flavour for Indian dishes. Service was really slow and it was crazy busy on a Tuesday night- although apparently it was a “slow” night we were told by staff. Couldn’t imagine being there on a busier night.

DO NOT EAT HERE! This is NOT Authentic Indian Food I’m Indian - you cannot fool me. I know what Indian food tastes like. I ordered Butter Chicken and Tandoori Chicken when I was in revelstoke. It tasted as if Butter chicken sauce was made using a tomato soup base! TASTED AWFUL! Tandoori chicken wasn’t dry for some reason. If looked like they marinated the Chicken once again after cooking it. Moreover it was UNDERCOOKED! I will never ever go there again!

Cool little restaurant with an interesting fusion of Indian and German. The food was really good, and I wish I had been more adventurous and tried the Butter Chicken Schnitzel. This is probably one of the few places in the world you could try it! That said, the portions could have been a bit bigger, and I have had better naan and chutney. Still worth checking out, great value and solid food.

We visited Revelstoke this week and stopped by this lovely little restaurant for a bite. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was incredible. I've eaten a lot of East Indian food in my life, but I've never had saag paneer as good as the one here. It was a great portion size at a great price, and I could have eaten it again and again. We were all itching to go back for a second meal the following day, but had an unfortunate change in plans that left us unable to do so. Still, we'll definitely be recommending this to everyone and will be stopping by on our next trip through town!

Really disappointed with the takeout packaging at this place - 20$ worth of green curry down that proverbial drain / into our 10cent plastic bag. When our order was packed the foil rim on the packaging wasn’t closed properly on one side and the contents of the curry ended up spilling everywhere on our drive home. Leaving two stars because what little food we had left did taste pretty good - but frustrated at the carelessness in packaging a take out order

My partner and I were quite disappointed with the food and service. We both asked for spicy curry and there wasn't a hint of spice in either the vindaloo or the coconut prawn. The service was also poor. Very mediocre food for a premium price.

If you are looking for real Indian spicy taste, go for Daal Makhani and ask them to make it spicy. Naans are not very good though. You can try rice with it. They also offer German & Thai dishes, but I haven't tried those, so can't say anything about it. It is full of people because of many variety of food. Over all, good place to have meal.

The food and warm teas were so delicious! I had a German dish and my husband had an Indian dish and they were both great, mine even featured freshly picked mushrooms. There's a lot of love and passion going into the dishes here. The staff were great and very friendly.

So good! We don't usually venture too far from pasta, pizza, burgers, steak etc but thought we'd try something different tonight. Everything is homemade and the flavours are out of this world. The Tandoori style chicken was the best butter chicken I've ever had, the hot and sour soup was the right balance of sweet and spicy, and the schnitzel with mushrooms was also very good. Would highly recommend for something a little different than the traditional fare while in Revelstoke.

Absolutely horrendous no salt in any Thai curry Absolutely a ripoff. Not worth your money.Felt like we were drinking coconut milk. Understand that restaurant is located in the remote mountains the food is expensive and there was absolutely no taste.

What a lovely little place! I'm of German background and my partner's South Asian, so we had to try this. Very interesting combo! The food took some time, but it was very fresh and delicious. Fairly authentic as well, though it's definitely white people level of spice. We mentioned it to the owner and she was very understanding, and gave us some extra chilies. Given the clientele, it's understandable they'd make it less spicy. Still, the food was very flavourful. A little expensive for South Asian food, but worth it for the experience. Very lovely staff as well! Great drinks too. I hope to come again next time I'm in town!

Had a tour to revelstoke and bump in to this restaurant... butter chicken wrap and veg samosa. Samosa was awesome butterchicken wrap was not i was expecting. It was like rice and butter chicken jambalaya. Horrible taste no sense what i was eating. No dip sauce with wrap or a little bit of fries to accompany....

I typically wouldn't choose indian food, but I was convinced with the back up options of Thai and German. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the vege samosas were and the tandoori chicken special was also pretty good!

Smells very good walking by, good service, but the food is only average. No oven for proper naan, portions are too small for the price and rice is very simple (no saffron or biryani). Korma was disappointing and the butter chicken could use more care. Very basic.

Excellent meal and great service. The pakora have a really nice flavour and texture. We had the beef vindaloo and navratan korma as mains. The only downside was we weren't given an option for spice level and found it delicious but quite mild.

Came for lunch. The wait was long and immaterial. The food quality and flavor is poor. Every food item at their restaurant tastes like it was frozen. Can clearly tell it's freezer burned. Expensive and not worth it. Auntie who works there is not polite at all. Would not recommend going there.

Great find in revelstoke. We decided to head into town instead of waiting for over 1h at the hotel. So glad we did. This place was way cheaper and super yummy. The place is quite small and busy, so you might want to do takeout. Staff was very friendly.

Service was good, food was not. For starters we had the veggie samosas and the Tom Yum soup. Both were ok. For the main dish we had the We butter chicken & saag paneer with garlic naan. The butter chicken was grossly sweet (almost ketchup like) with very small pieces of chicken in it. The saag paneer was bland (under salted?) with some cheese in it. The naan was not naan. It was store bought flat bread (that tasted terrible) and was super greasy from being heated on the grill. Disappointing after choosing to go here because of so many positive reviews!

Always fantastic. We regularly get the butter chicken lunch special to take to work - so good. The thali is a great way to try a few different things, and you MUST get the chocolate mousse cake, if only to take home and eat later when you have room again. Thank you Goldie for providing such a fantastic dining experience in the middle of our little town :)

We went here while visiting Revelstoke. Everything was absolutely delicious! I ordered the pad Thai and friends ordered the curry. We also ordered chai tea and it was delicious! We all left full and happy! Our waitress was extremely nice and made sure we had everything we needed! We did not have to wait for a table despite it being busy that night! They also brought out our food extremely fast! Highly recommend if you’re visiting Revelstoke!

Found the food very overpriced unfortunately and not that good tasted freezer burned and like it had been reheated time after time. Their cooks don’t wear masks FYI and they scanned our vaccine passports but allow regular customers in without a mask as well …. I’m not sure how that makes sense. Just overall not a good choice

Interesting fusion of German and East Indian dishes available. Had the butter chicken spatzale which was a pretty creamy and tangy pasta dish. Prices are a bit steep but this dish was unique. Great service as well.

My family stayed in Revelstoke on a recent road trip and passed by Paramjit's Kitchen. Unfortunately they were closed the day we were there, but we were so excited for an opportunity to try German/Indian fusion that we made a point to stop there on the return trip. It was absolutely worth the extra stop!! We had the butter chicken schnitzel with spatzle, and it was mind blowing. The portion was large, and the tastes and textures complemented each other beautifully. Who knew Indian and German food could come together to form something so delicious?! Truly the best of both worlds! I highly recommend trying out this unique restaurant to anyone visiting Revelstoke!

The staff is incredibly friendly, the chefs even walk out to have a chat with you and make recommendations based on your food choices, the curries (Shahi Paneer & Butter Chicken) were great. Every time we walked by this place, it was buzzing with customers. Their samosas are also authentic Indian samosas, which is a rare find given the large number of places that make bland tasting ones.

The WORST PLACE !!! ZERO star... We were passing by this beautiful town, and decided to try out this indian restaurant, but I guess since this is taking out food, they didnt expect to give any service, I ordered a soup which is like snack size unexpectedly, and we didnt know the soup lid was not fitting the container, right after I lift the bag, half my soup was spilled, even the wrap was totally soaked, someone looks like the owner came out and said will replace everything but will take sometime, I said its okay! Then she came out very quickly said "I just changed the wrap myself" !!! Such a mood destroying, NEVER EVER I'll visit this restaurant again!!!! Not even sure now if their review was booster by friends !!!

I was merely passing through on my way to Kelowna and was bumping around Main Street about 10:30 when most local restaurants closed until 11AM. They invited me in for tea until the cook arrived. Found this gem in Revelstoke while wandering around during the Street Fest enjoying the live Jazz. At first I though German-Indian fusion was a bad idea but then I saw Butter Chicken Spaetzle on the menu, two of my favourite things and I had to try it, it did not dissapoint. Paramjit's was very busy, get there early to avoid the lineups. They also have outdoor seating which was really nice on such a hot summer night. The staff were friendly and efficient and a bit overworked.

One of the blandest Indian meals I’ve ever had - and I eat Indian all the time. They don’t even ask you what level of spice you want and assume it’s none. Samosas were tiny and burnt, coming with only one chutney in a tiny zip lock bag. They also managed to mix up a 2 meal take away order, consequently when the second meal was finally ready the first one was cold ... Cherry on the cake : no cutlery was provided, thank goodness our hotel reception was still open and able to provide some.

Loved the food and atmosphere. Such a creative combo of cuisines. I wish they had more combined cuisine options, it seemed like you could either get German, Indian or the one special they were running that combined them. However, the beef goulash and saag paneer were both delightful! Also, the Chai was to die for!

Good experience in general. Hope to help the place with my feedback: Friendly staff! However, we told them we would share a dish and we had to eat in tiny plates and ask for knives. Food delicious but garlic Naan was a bit greasy and the papadoms didn't taste so good. The papadoms were not included in the dish and they gave us a huge amount of papadoms. At the end we didn't eat them all. My water glass was a bit dirty. I would recommend this place anyways :)

I'm a restaurateur who appreciates the details when I go out. I am a huge fan of ethnic food and was happy to try out this quaint Indian restaurant tonight. I was surprised when the menu had German AND Thai food along with the traditional fare, but the food smelled so intoxicating, it seemed like a safe bet. I get Tom Yum EVERY time I go for Thai food and have my favorites in Winnipeg. This Tom yum was, hands down, the BEST I've ever had. I want more for dessert and I'm already planning to come back here tmrw night and every time I drive to Vancouver (next trip on May). The rest of the dishes, the Aloo, Daal and Korma were just excellent. My dad and I devoured ever bit of food served (definitely too much for 2 people) and we enjoyed each dish. I thought the Daal was the best of the 3, he thought the Korma was the best and we both agreed the Aloo was a close 2nd....but the Tom Yum... The service was very helpful and everything was served piping hot (even the chai to start). If there were any gripes, the fluorescent light behind the servery was very bright. I prefer warm tones and less lumens at night. Everything about this visit makes me want to return. I live in the restaurant world and go out to eat much more than the average person. This place will not disappoint.

Great place for food in Revelstoke! This place was bustling with people and they were so accommodating to try and get everyone in from the cold. There food was delicious, we only tried the Indian - YUM. Tali plate was on special and it was a nice way to get a taste of everything. Very friendly servers and owners!

I love Thursdays as the veggie thali is the deal of the day and it is my favourite. Great smoothies, chai teas and wraps. They are just across the road from my travel agency so super handy to pop in although when I get chatting to Goldee I often stay a while ;)

Closed on Saturdays for lunch because they have a stall at the picnic market. Good appetizers, khichdi, etc. but not much else there by way of main courses because of limited space. Will check it out again once we can get into the restaurant

We stopped on our way through Revelstoke and were so happy that the pizza joint was closed. Our party ordered from the Thai, German and Indian menus and we were all very happy with our meals. Fast, friendly service with great food. It's worth a short detour off the highway. We will be stopping here again.

Wow. I'm totally blown away by the unique fusion experience. Not every fusion restaurant gets it right but Paramjit's Kitchen is a fine example of when the fusion experience brought the best of both cultures out in stunning flavours. I had the butter chicken spätzle and it was amazing. Who would've thought the flavourful butter chicken would go so well with the German spätzle? I've recommended this place to all my friends and family and I hope I could come up soon and try the other fusion dishes this place has to offer. What a hidden gem. A must try if you're anywhere around interior BC. The waitress was also super nice and welcoming. Can't wait to come back.

When one hears that the menu is German and Indian fusion, you have to wonder how this happened. I spoke with the Chef/owner and she said that she is a professionally trained Chef from Austria. The Indian food was from home cooking. Look at the menu and you'll find Thai food as well. We had a party of five and everyone loved the food. I had the chicken Pad Thai and it was delicious. I had to try the fusion as well and had the "deep fried bratwurst wonton". I couldn't stop eating the wontons! Two in the party had the Schnitzel and one of them said it was better than the Schnitzel that he had in Germany. Saag Paneer and one of the curries were excellent. Naan bread was excellent. The place was jumping the night we were there and the staff was stretched to keep up with the pace, even with the chef jumping in to help. The prices were reasonable considering that the quality of the food was first class.

Great fusion place! You are looking for some unique food in Revelstoke, this is a must try. It does get pretty busy during dinnee time, but its worth the wait. In the photo is the butter chicken spatzle- really good. Also got their chicken korma with garlic naan and both were also delicious.

Friendly staff, I was disappointed by the food after having waited a while to go here on my few trips through Revelstoke. I ordered a beef Vindaloo, it was bland and had 0 spice. Definitely a let down knowing how a vindaloo should be prepared. The paneer dish was good, as was the rice. Naan was just ok, seemed like it was out of a package. I'd give it a go again and perhaps ask for the authentic level of spice and not the default caucasian level of heat.

We visited this restaurant last Saturday looking for an Indian food and were extremely disappointed with the taste and quality of the food. Curries were way below average as it had lost it's original aroma and spicy touch. We ordered Garlic Naan and we felt like we were served with thin crust pizza base smeared with garlic coating (Definitely wasn't an Indian Naan). Quantity of the curries were way too less for the price. We requested them to make curries spicy but as a result we got a cup of green chillies in return (Seems funny though, but that was the fact!) along with curries. I don't recommend this place to anyone who is actually craving for Indian food.

this food made me and all of my friends rush to the bathroom each taking 20 minutes each to unload this meal. A full restaurant with no social distancing whatsoever no chefs wearing masks just cooking white washed bland indian food. the waitress kept confirming our orders would give us one item then reconfirm our entire order again and would deliver once just one single item causing to drive to golden in the mf rain in the dark surrounded by trucks while needing to go number 2. thé chai was literally just oregano and the golden tea just was tumeric and coconut oil. it also made my friends cousin projectile vomit on her dog. but the chickpeas on the side of the samosas were good tho. that was the only thing. the chickpeas. also the dressing they say is a ‘tumeric cream’ but it was just mayonnaise, just mayonnaise. 3 stars bc the food tasted FINE BUT MADE RUN TO THE BATHROOM 3 stars bc i respect service workers and i also own a restaurant but lemme tell you something this was NOT IT. if ur worried abt covid 19 don’t go here also these 5 star reviews have got 2 be fake just saying

On the spur of the moment we decided to have dinner at Paramjit’s Kitchen even though it was full inside. We found a table out on the street corner and were given good service by a German lady. We ordered Aloo Gobi masala (Potato Cauliflower gravy) with Naan (Indian bread), and a Dahi Pakora Curry (Fritters in Yogurt curry) with Rice. It tasted almost like our home food back in India. The food and the music brought back memories from home. Prices were very reasonable. We complimented the Indian hosts after our meal.

The server explained how their butter chicken take out is and the order we got was completely opposite and disappointing. We called them and they said, that's how their butter chicken is. Very disappointing. We literally wasted our money. Please do not go there. Not at all recommended. Frozen naan, worst taste, not even close to Indian food. It's a trap, dont go there.

One of the most bland meals I've ever eaten. Not just Indian food but of any meal. My girlfriend and I got curries and they were so flavourless we sent one back, only to get another kind which was equally as disappointing. The poppadoms weren't good either. Not sure who is giving this "Indian" restaurant such great reviews but they either had different chefs than us or have never experienced even a substandard curry before. I'm only glad I ordered the can of beer, otherwise our whole meal would've be devoid of flavour.

The vegetarian options were amazing, the butter chicken was to die for and the naan bread was so tasty with the different options they offered. The mango shake and the rosewater shake was so tasty . The dessert was a special chocolate mousse cake that the owner mastered perfectly. It was so delicious!!!! We had to stop again on our way back from our trip to eat there as it was amazing.

Went for the first time. Total ripoff and Indian food extremely worse. Charged 3 dollars for two sliced onions. There is no other place for Indian food so utilizing everyone coming there . Excellent food with a menu that is diverse, yet easy to understand. A mix of Indian and German favourites; this place also has donair and classic lunch options. I had the chana masala and it was spiced perfectly. The naan was garlic and was served piping hot. I also had chai tea which was delicious, our server was very cute and maybe german as well :). My friend had two samosas which he loved and mushroom soup which I tasted, it was seasoned to perfection. A lovely cozy store with great prices and great food.

Honestly, quite disappointed. After all the good reviews I was expecting better. Had the pork schnitzel which was very dry and when I asked for some sort of sauce to make it a tad better, they gave me soy sauce. Not sure how that thought process went. The curry itself was alright, if you've ever had any curry in your life you'd be disappointed but otherwise it was OK. They didn't even do saffron or turmeric rice, which is a bit odd. Also, it was a very long wait to receive our food after ordering. Worse was during that time we noticed people that ordered takeaway was getting served first.

A small unique international blend of East Indian German and Asian. A clean quaint relaxing atmosphere for Revelstoke. The food and coffee are superb. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Was craving some Indian food, so decided to try this place after looking at the reviews on here and google. Also, we liked how their menu had listed food allergens. Worst mistake and ruined my whole trip when it cause my wife and infant daughter to have severe food poisoning. I understand such issues can happen, but when food is cooked by owner's mother at home and then brought in, who knows what kind of food safety regulations are being followed or not. We confirmed with them that samosas are done that way and also chicken s are precooked and then added to the food. We ordered multiple items, both Indian and Thai. None of them were tasting as they should or served warm for that matter. It looked like they just tossed the precooked/canned ingredients and added the sauce to it, without hitting them properly. The naan looked like store-bought pita bread, which they slapped lowest quality garlic butter on. The mango lassi was pretty much watered down yogurt with a hint if mango juice, instead of thick yogurt with mango puree. I'm all about supporting the mom and pop shops, but this one is just not up to any standards. Service didn't even exist. The server just took our order and then delivered the food, after waiting about 45 minutes. They never came to check up on us. The prices are significantly high for their location, quality and portions.

Let me just say that I am extremely picky when it comes to Indian food. It's tough not to compare restaurants to home cooked meals I am lucky to eat. So when I say that Paramjit's Kitchen is some of the best Indian food I've had from Calgary to Vancouver, I hope you consider it high praise! The daal felt like it was right out of mom's kitchen, and all curries are made with love and care. I especially appreciated the homemade chai made the RIGHT WAY, not from a syrup or tea bag. Will definitely return when I'm back in Revelstoke!
