Fantastic dumplings! Beef with carrot, pan-fried with their incredible spicy dipping sauce....sooooo tasty! And the salad with black mu-er 'mushrooms' is not to be missed. Lovely people too!

Pros: friendly service, big servings (soups and chowmein), delicious red cabbage salad. Cons: the soups and chowmein are almost entirely noodles - so you’re paying $17 after tax for oily noodles with a few pieces of meat and vegetables.

Was very happy to get authentic dumplings on our road trip to the Rockies. Great stop if you're on your way to Banff! We were sad that they didn't have lobok for the beef and lobok dumpling, but the beef and carrots dumplings were surprisingly good. The owners did a wonderful job working with the little ingredients they have access to this far into BC. Hope they add some more menu items eventually, like maybe authentic Chinese noodles!

We stopped by Revelstoke for lunch on our way to Banff. We had a party of 18. When we came in to ask for a table, we were told to keep it quiet. We had not even said a word. The owners probably had a bad experience in the past and assumed that we would be one of those groups with no manners. The second we agreed to keep it quiet, the lady interrupted us by pointing at our toddlers (Age 5 and 1) and said that those two must stay silent. She never escorted us to our table. Instead, she rudely stared at us and said "Are you going to sit or not?". Well, we had no other choices because our guests prefer to have asian cuisine (little did we know, there was a Japanese place next door! Good thing, the uncle sent the niece and nephew there as he didn't feel confident that they'd behave.) She then came to us and pointed at the till "You cannot go there". That's when I snapped. This was beyond all levels of rudeness. I wish I had not stepped into this place to begin with. The food is mediocre. If you are craving for asian cuisine in Revelstoke, you may want to go to the teriyaki place next door. 0/10. Would not recommend.

I absolutely love this place. The food is always amazing, I love the tofu skin salad (FUZU), and the fried dumplings. Also the chow mein. The couple that run it are so great! You will not be disappointed.

I had such an amazing experience at Kevin's Kitchen today. The food was fresh and delicious. This is not your regular Chinese restaurant. If you want to try some unique/traditional Chinese food that leaves you feeling nourished you've come to the right place. Also, added bonus, the sevice was wonderful and the restaurant was spotless.

First of all, I'm not the owner, nor connected to the business. Just wanted to clear away any confusion in case anyone was wondering about the connection between my name and the restaurant's name. Okay, so I came with my family for dinner while traveling to Revelstoke last year. Had zero expectations despite pretty good reviews. I'd say we were all pretty impressed with the food. It's a husband and wife team from Shaanxi if I remember correctly. The husband looks after the kitchen and cooking and the wife helps with the cooking when not attending to the customers. The menu is small, but everything is made fresh. We pretty much tried everything from the menu. This is northern Chinese food. Everything was really good, from the Chinese salads, noodles, wonton soup, to the DUMPLINGS! They hit all my taste buds, and this is coming from a person from Northern China. The food is just how I used to have it when I was at my grandma's when I was a kid! Everything is healthy and fresh, you definitely don't have the grease-pumping-through-your-vein type of heavy feeling when eating westernize Chinese food. I don't know if they have more help in the kitchen now, but don't feel mad if the wife have to turn away a large group if they already have quite a few customers. They are really committed to quality food and service and serving within a reasonable amount of time. I know because I talked to the wife after seeing this happen once while eating. Try to come back another time when its not as busy!

I really appreciate the work the owners have put into the running of the restaurant. I also think the dishes they offer are good, especially for a small town. My complaint is they ran out of foods on their very small menu (probably less than 10 items for the whole restaurant) I hope they can hire an extra hand or two and help themselves as they seemed very busy while we were there!!

WoW just doesn't describe the experience here enough .. and yet it is the word that comes forward when I think about my last visit here. With Covid we are limited to take out only and they have made that very easy. A quick phone call had a lot of delicious food ready for pick up within a few minutes. Highly recommend eating from Kevin's Kitchen if you are looking for a tasty, authentic Chinese home style meal.

I did not expect to find some of my best "Chinese food" experience in BC in the town of Revelstoke. We were passing by and needed dinner. Stopped in and met the owners. This place definitely is home cooked style. The beef dumplings, wonton soup and crushed cucumber were my personal favourites, but I've only been here once. Highly highly recommend! Great work Kevin and wife!

The quality of the food here is poor for the price and not enough for the authentic Chinese food.There are not even 10 chicken in chicken chiao noodles.Vegetables are only a little cabbage and a bad word for food.

Shared a chow mein noodle dish and the dumplings with my partner. The dumplings are hand made and really delicious (plus you get a whole plate of them, not just a few!). The noodles were fresh and had good flavor. Both were big portions so easy to share. We arrived before it got very busy - though service started to slow down as it is only a husband and wife team. I was very pleased with my experience

Although good service, it was a long wait for the food. By chinese standard, the noodle and wonton were seriously under seasoned. The dumpling was just fine. They did not let us order the cold dishes because they were under staff. The price is high for what they offer.

Oh wow! You need to eat here. Best dumplings ever. We also had the soup with chicken and rice noodles and the soup with beef and flour noodles. We liked the rice noodles better but both were delicious. Personable service. This is a meal to remember!

I have no idea where do these five star reviews come from. We ordered Beef Saozi noodle and you can barely find beef in it. The broth has no favor and the noodle tastes like instant noodle. 14 dollars for instant noodle? ridiculous. The dumpling is okay but it's probably also some instant frozen food. This is absolutely fake Chinese food.

I'm tired of different types low quality Asian style buffet all the way from Ontario to BC, until I tried this small restaurant. This place offer you authentic Chinese noodle and dumpling. Food is fresh made and served. If you like salty or fried Can-Chinese food, this place IS NOT for you. If you want eat real north-China style noodle or dumpling, give it a try.

Absolutely not authentic chinese food. Their soup noodle is tastless, purely water with soy sauce and lots of sesame oil. Beef noodle only has less than 10 dice size beef in there with a little bit of chopped vege, and they charge $15 for it. I wont even pay $5 because a cup noodle taste better than that. If you want chinese food, avoid this place.

There’s pretty much just two dishes on the menu, sao-zi noodles and dumplings. The noodles are like the instant ones you can get from a Chinese supermarket and the soup was tasteless to say at best. We have to pour in two servings of vinegar and chill oil to be able taste anything. There’s about 8 pieces of tiny beef square, each is about the same size as the rock you see on the street curb.The most ridiculous thing is that they charge $14 for every dish...Oh the portion is not that big either and we ended up going to save of foods and got a rotisserie chicken. The whole experience was just terrible. To be fair the service was okay, but there’s tons of cheap and delicious options in this town. Do yourself a favour avoid this place.

I giving 4 out of 5 stars only because 5 would be exceptional. The food is fresh and a little oily but a lot of flavor. I usually shy away from rice noodles but tried some and was quite surprised. Give this place a try and you won't be disappointed. Note: do not expect to get rice with any dish as this restaurant dose not serve any.

Went there with friends yesterday. The service was good but the food was waaaay over priced. The noodle has less meat than cup noodle and the vegetables are undercooked. The soup tastes like plain water. The dumplings are probably from grocery store. Overall very disappointing, this is not how Chinese food should be. The owners are very nice person, but they should really improve their cooking skill. Restaurant sign says Chinese home style, but it's more like single man living in moms basement style. I write this review because I went to Kawakubo today and for the same price I got wayyy better food. Disappointing, just disappointing.

Kevin's Kitchen is my favourite restaurant in Revelstoke! You can tell the food is made with love and high-quality ingredients. My fiancé and I always order the chow mein and the pan-fried dumplings... the food is delicious and leaves you feeling great afterwards. The owners are lovely, kind people. Absolutely great. Wonderful little Restaurant. Here everything is made from scratch. Small Menu, but everything tastes super yummy. The fried dumplings are just amazing. Don't expect super fast service everything is made to order. Take some time and eat yourself through their menu. If you like good homemade food you absolutely will love it here.
