Good server . Bad Expeditors.....snotty attitudes. Ordered food to come out in courses . Appys first , with drinks and then the mains but everything Brought out at once by 2 snotty little girls. Asked if they could return when we were done with the appys and so they took them away and brought the mains back when cold. Yuck. Come on......the dining room wasn't even busy so no excuse for the attitude . Our main server was very polite and so this review didn't need to be written about him just his lovely snotty co workers. Well go elsewhere next time.

Advice: if you want good service: DO NOT go to this Steakhouse because you will be met with disappointment. One of the WORST services (if not, THE WORST) I ever received. I'd rate this 0 stars if I could. My boyfriend and I went to this specific Keg Steakhouse on Dewdney because we loved the one on Albert so much but wanted to try this one because of all the good reviews. We came here to celebrate our anniversary at the end of April but it was met with a lackluster atmosphere and even worse wait staff. We came a bit earlier than the usual dinner rush (about 5pm) and we stood in the lobby for over 20minutes and two other parties joined us in our wait. While waiting I noticed only one other couple in the bar/lounge area and I thought to myself "oh nice fast service because it's still kind of dead." Nope. After a full 25minute wait, SOMEONE finally came out to ask if any of us needed to be seated. Even though I was at the front of the line, the employee completely ignored me and addressed the other couple behind me, asking if they needed any assistance. The couple was nice enough to say that we had gotten there first and she begrudgently looked at me. I asked for a table for two but was met with a "you can just seat yourselves." My boyfriend and I sat in the bar area right beside the only other couple here (I don't know what happened to the two other parties that were in the lobby with us, probably sat in the restaurant portion) and again the waiting game continued. No one came out to take out our drink orders, no one even gave us a menu. We sat at the table for another 15minutes (at this point the clock was starting to push almost 6pm) and the lobby looked like it was starting to fill up quite a bit. Still waited. Nothing. The employee who told us we could seat ourselves never showed up again so we left. I always heard good things about this Keg Steakhouse but to basically wait an half hour just to be told we "seat ourselves" and then not even get a menu to look at while we wait almost another half hour is completely ridiculous.

They are only offering curbside pickup and takeout right now, but food was excellent, and service was exceptional. Very professional and polite. They clearly appreciate the business. Get out and support these restaurants my friends! They need you now more than ever. Otherwise they may not be here when this blows through.

Nice and pleasant service upon we walked into the restaurant. At a busy night, the waitress has offered some appetizers for tasting purpose. The baked mushroom with cheese was my favourite appetizer, and I got the sirloin steak as main. The steak was juicy and delicious. Definitely it’s a good place for dining.

Great place where the service is always amazing. The noise level is never so loud that you can't hear people talk. Bread served at beginning is very good. Try the cauliflower bites - better then the cheese bread. Easy to find parking. Low light inside might be a problem for people who can't see well. The peppercorn steak is fantastic. Try the garlic mash, personally I think that is the best side dish.

I began my evening at C27 (unfortunate when great food is spoiled by bad service (cannot emphasize enough how devastating the service was).... It was the Keg that gave my evening a MASSIVE upturn. I was so upset by the service at C27 that I didn't even bother asking for more bread to eat my dish in my hotel room so I stopped at the Keg and they jumped at the opportunity to serve me without question to offer me their sourdough...which we all know is epic already... My husband and I had an evening here tonight and had a great experience. Jonathon served our table and did a wonderful job. We didn't wait too long for anything. And he was attentive to our wants for the evening. All our food was delicious and correct. We paid with gift cards and he was able to do the math quickly to figure out how best to distribute the payment and the tip which had caused some issue with us in the past. Was staying in the city for several nights for work and actually came in two nights in a row, since work was paying for my meals. Great service and food two nights in a row. DANG. Here I am, elbow deep in my wallet trying to figure out how in heck I’m going to pay for this. Normally I would go the “Nigerian Prince Credit Card Scam” route, but they can see me sitting at my table. Money troubles aside, let’s talk about the pistachio encrusted salmon, shall we? It is the gotdam juiciest ocean meat I’ve ever had the pleasure of masticating. It fell apart faster than Britney Spears in 2007, and I mean that in the best possible way. They managed to make Brussels sprouts taste like real food and that 5 star double mojito helped me forget I ate Brussels sprouts. Get thee to the Keg Dewdney and be faux fancy for a night; your bank account will regret it, but you won’t.

If you want good steak - this is the place to go. Although sometimes they over-salt it, and I would like it if they had some vegan or vegitarian options (yes I know it's a steak place but wouldn't it be great if your vegan friend/cousin/whatever could enjoy themselves too?! I think so.) The sangria now tastes like cinnamon hearts - which is very disappointing as I remember it being delicious before! But the taste of cinnamon hearts or fireball whiskey makes me gag/nauseous. I hate sending things back & find it embarassing but the waitress was nice enough about it. I do wish their sides weren't so skimpy as I don't like my whole meal to be just meat like my husband might! hahaha They don't offer many options & the price is high, but the food is always delicious despite all that. I'm only giving 3 stars as I feel they have some overdue updating to do to their menu!

I usually go here for lunch as its close to my work. The servers are always short staffed at lunch and I usually only see the servers when I order. When I want to leave I have to track the server down to get my bill. Also at lunch my steak has never been cooked right. I usually order medium to medium well and its always medium rare and one rime was even rare. All that said the supper service is excellent. MY steak is ALWAYS cooker perfect and the servers are welcoming and attentive. Long story short avoid the lunch service and don't miss the dinner service.

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely birthday dinner, unfortunately the scallop and shrimp add on to my steak was over cooked and tough, that being said our waitress immediately apologized and later took it off the bill without even asking. This seemless experience to remedy a small error by the kitchen ensured the overall experience was pleasant. We will definitely be going back for another great KEG experience.

Birthday supper. We had mushroom Neptune appy was delicious and main course Steak and lobster and the special steak and shrimp creole, was good , lobster tail was pretty small and my steak with the special was a little tough. First time having a tough one here. I usually have the prime rib but special sounded good. Which is my favorite here. Double stuffed potato so tasty and the Billy Miner was excellent and nice touch they give you a free one for birthday. The side vegetable to be desired. Staff super friendly and great service. Finding more restaurants with better quality and tasty sides for the price.

My sister and I headed to the Keg for the famous Billy Miner Pie. I was not disappointed with this delicious dessert. We also treated ourselves to Gin Basil Lemonades, the most delicious cocktail I’ve had in a long time. First thing we walked in without a reservation and were placed in the bar area, even though the restaurant was dead, then when we went to order my daughter who had asked for a simple vegetable switch(of which one was with the chicken one with the steak) she was told they wouldn't do that for her so my mother said she wouldn't ever go back there. Then the waitress who took our order purposely skipped my mother( for whom the waitress stood next to) then took everyone's order and left my mother to the end. Then we caught the waitress talking to another waitress and we could hear and see her mocking the my mother.....this is absolutely unforgivable especially with a table of eight people and our bill was over $780 for spending this amount of money you should be able to be treated a lot better. The food was awful and tasteless the escargot had no sauce on it....it was just one terrible meal after another I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GO TO THE SOUTH LOCATION do not even attempt to go to the north location. Worst meal/service in Regina.

Hands down one of the best service you will ever get in SK. I had the New York Strip 12Oz med rare with mashed and veggies and the steak came out pink and white string. I was wondering why some pieces weren't edible. I had finished my meal halfway and the very observant Bartender, Adam, spotted that I wasn't elated to be eating. He asked if I wanted a new one, this one look's a bit softer. I agreed and he gets me a new one and the sides that came with it. I'm telling you, "There is nothing like a Med rare at the KEG" From the carmelization to the pure taste of decadent, saw Potatoes are sublime, doesn't need any gravy. Wasn't my choice, but enjoyed it none the less. Local beer selection is somewhat lacking, but they do have a couple craft taps. I had the steak and Cajun shrimp, was enjoyable. Steak medallions, and shrimp in a tomato jambalaya style Cajun sauce. Steak was cooked well, shrimp had some spice to it (it builds) Not my first time, usually get the Thai chicken, which is also solid. Had the crembrulle for dessert, would get it again. They also offer minis of the crembrulle and the brownie, in case you want just a little something.

I SHOULDN'T have to pay for that disgusting plate of uber salty fries. 7- came back to my table, where the waitress was asking us to "pay up", told her about the fries again, and she said "maybe you won't order the fries next time". THE FINAL LINE SAID BY THE WAITRESS IS WHY THE REVIEW GETS 1 STAR.

But: the menu is somewhat stale, and if you aren't feeling steak, or don't want to drop heavy money for the most simple of dishes; I'd suggest you go elsewhere. The worst experience I have ever had at the Keg. Came in with a party of 7. Server took very long to come to us before we ordered, that was fine. When they brought they brought the food they forgot a meal, they also way over cooked 2 of the 4 steaks they did bring out. Walked in the door at 7 and it’s 8:27 and we just got the meal that was forgotten and the two steaks fixed. The only reason they got a star is because the manager was very kind and understanding of the situation. But definitely won’t be back to this Keg.

Alex our female server tonight in the lounge was amazing. Normally when you go to a restaurant you have a pretty good or even better experience but this time the experience was nothing less then amazing. Can't wait to come back again to the keg!

Have not been to the Keg in 25 years. Went tonight for our anniversary it was amazing. The waiter was attentive., food was so good. Would definitely recommend this location. Was very happy with our experience. Will definitely be going again.

The service was excellent, the staff helped find us an open seat in the lounge, was very friendly and the food was great as always. Ordered the prime rib like usual and it was flavourful and cooked exactly as expected.

It took 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get our food. Even though we went a 7:20 pm. We seen the server twice and one time we had to flag her down. The food was good. Would I go back definitely not for the price of supper.

Came for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. Didn't have a reservation and was told there was about a 45 minute wait but ended up waiting only about 20 minutes. Dining room was a bit loud due to two large groups (10+ people) being there at the same time but it wasn't bothersome. Both the main course and the dessert was very good and they even gave us one of the desserts for free due to our anniversary which was a nice touch. I would come here again.

As someone who suffers from a tree nut allergy, its always a pain when i see anything with tree nuts in it. However i asked the waitress to make sure my food didnt come into contact with my food. She very obviously did, since a man who i assume was the manager came up with my food, asked if it was me with the allergy. He told me that he made sure the food didnt come into contact with anything with tree nuts. Honestly Im very happy with thr consideration they gave me. The steak was very good. And i didnt have to think about it potentially killing me.

Overall a decent place to go! Dependable quality, classic atmosphere, and classic meals. A place you can go to get that same taste you had the last time you went. Downsides are that the place is often very busy (because people like it), and it can be loud. But the staff has always been great and accommodating. The meals have never left me disappointed; though, admittedly, I haven't strayed far from steak and twice baked potato, but I don't need to and it's probably why you will want to go to the Keg.
