Love the buffet. An almost at home with your family feeling as I enjoyed a nice balance and large portions of food heh never regretted eating there always leaving with a full stomach. Id recommend the pulled port ontop of some noodles with the veggie mix

I find Kakalots to be extremely hit and miss. Some days the food is good, some days it's not. It's like it really depends on who they have cooking or something. The taste and quality of the food is just inconsistent. The restaurant and staff itself is nice and the prices aren't bad. But I don't prefer going there because I don't know what my food will be like, I'd rather go to Dragon Gate or Fulin.

My favourite restaurant in town. A cheerful family atmosphere. Huge variety and the best Seafood and chicken Hot Pot ever !! If you want something done in a special way .. just ask.. They aim to please. Prices are reasonable and staff is always so friendly. Love the Buffet !!! They cater for special events !!

I've had Chinese food many times from this place not by my choice and often the food is over-cooked especially the ginger beef. I do have to add this is only my opinion and I have heard many other people say good things about this restaurant, I personally don't like it.

I loved it so much compared to the other chinese restaurants in town so I sent my colleagues there. And the next day they decided to switch where they order chinese food from now on. I ordered the dinner for 3 so my partner and I could have left overs and it was plenty. The portions are awesome! We had it for dinner the next day. Chicken chowmein, beef chopsuey, sweet and sour pork, ginger beef, deep fried prawns. I don't eat seafood so i subbed egg roll and they were really good as well. And I ordered a large wonton soup on the side. It was oily, but very yummy. I just did the paper towel trick I ordered delivery, and it took around 20mins

Smorgasbord selection was poor and what was there was either dried up dregs or not there at all. The staff avoided contact and wouldn't answer questions as to when the dishes would be replenished. For $16.95 I would hope to get something edible. Very dissatisfied. I hadn't been there in a while. Not going back...and I thought the Dragon Gate was bad.

Not very good Chinese food at all!!. Very unimpressed. Took an hour for delivery and the food not hot. Ordered fried rice, chicken chow main, sweet and sour pork and ginger beef. Chow main was so plain and no flavor what so ever. Normally pineapple comes in the sweet and sour pork and there was none. For what you pay it's not worth it. I'd make better Chinese food myself.

Ordered a number 7 combo and it was totally tasteless. The chicken fried rice was actually steamed rice with cold sliced chicken on top. Everything else was totally tasteless. Best part of the meal was the ice water. Waitress was a nice girl.

We came here based on a high recommendation from 2 locals. We came early and ordered from the menu but there is also a weekend buffet from 5-9pm. Our meal was absolutely delicious! Our jasmine tea came in a teapot with a unique spout. We didn't feel like alcohol this time but we noticed they have a good drinks menu including paralyzers, brown cow, kahula coffee, etc. They have lots of combos or you can order dishes. We were very happy with our generous-portion combos and could only eat about 1/2. Everything tasted very fresh. We tried the egg rolls and the spring rolls and both were delicious. We had rice, chow mein, chicken balls, veg chopsuey, sw&sr pork and deep fried shrimp (huge) and all were excellent. Attentive friendly staff and clean restaurant. Awesome experience for my last day visiting Quesnel.

Ordered dinner for three, took 90 minutes for deliver. Once we received our food it was Luke warm. Spent over $65. Called and talked with the owner, she said they were really busy. She offered $11 credit for our next order. I will not go back. After many visits to their restaurant and several deliveries I was totally taken back. WILL NEVER GO BACK. They dont believe in keeping customers happy.

We moved to Quesnel from Williams lake and this is the best Chinese food ! They are so friendly, fast and the food is awesome. They also deliver with Doordash.
