Most curries I tried were always packed mostly with onions than meat or veggies. Ordered spicy and received mild. Samosa filling were disappointing with plain white potatoes with no flavour. Same goes for their parathas. But was nice to have some Indian meals away from home. Service was good and friendly.

I have yet to be disappointed with anything I've ordered here. Everything is incredible, portions are generous, and they clearly use quality ingredients. Definitely the place to go if you're craving Punjabi (I think that's the correct term, apologies if not) style cooking.

Incredibly delicious!! Shockingly so. I went with my mum who is a very strict vegetarian, and will literally throw up if she eats meat. And I'm lactose intolerant. We ordered our dishes both mild. Usually when I go for India I end up asking for more rice or coconut milk, because I find it to spicy still. But this time, there was absolutely no hint of too spicy! Just utterly delicious spices and lovely rice. It was truly vegetarian for my mum, and non dairy for me. Neither of us got sick! Ignore the outside. I was hesitant at first but went in regardless. %100 glad I did. We got takeout and it was piping hot. We eat a lot of India food and this is most possibly the best I have ever eaten! Im here on vacation and my hometown has a lot of Indian restaurants.

Update *** no surprise, the Palak paneer, and chicken Tikka and chai tea is very yummy and hits the spot ???? so nice to be able to stop into a last minute meal and get to eat something tasty and nutritious. The best Indian food! The owners are so nice and the service is lovely! The building isn’t much to look at but don’t let the appearance fool you. Warm, family run, Himalayan Kitchen won’t disappoint! Plus the buffet on Sunday is great, and lunch specials on weekdays! Would recommend the butter chicken, chicken tikka, vegetable korma, vegetable pakora! Our favourite place!

It was dark at the Himalayan Kitchen... kind of looks as though it has gone out of business. I personally think they should make this into a Trucker Diner. They have the location and parking for such a venture. I would gladly choose a mom and pop eatery over the franchise restaurants around here serving the same old garbage.

We came across this spot a year ago. The service was excellent, such a genuine host. The food was spectacular. We’ve told everyone we know about this place and so many have stopped and had a wonderful meal. This year during covid, they offer respectful clean take out service. They recently took very good care of a family member of mine. So thankful for their food, service and kindness. Do not let the exterior fool you, this place is a must stop!

The food at Himalayan Kitchen is delicious, and the staff are kind and helpful. I know they do a buffet, but I've not tried it. I have tried a wide variety of the offerings available and have yet to try anything that was short of great. They have the best Naan in town by far, likewise for their butter chicken. Don't feel constrained to the old standbys though, it's all great. The meat is well trimmed and the vegetables are fresh and crisp. The portions of all the main dishes are generous as well.

We were passing through Quesnel and stopped at Himalayan Kitchen for dinner. The service was quick, attentive and friendly. We chose to have the dinner buffet to try smaller portions of a variety of foods that were offered on the menu. Tandoori Chicken, Beef Vindaloo and Vegetable Korma were our favourites but everything on the buffet was delicious! The Vegetable Pakora were perfectly seasoned and the Naan bread was served hot and fresh. We will definitely stop by again.
