WOW. We tried the Bone Marrow appetizer, and let me say: never had anything quite so delicious in our lives. Sebastian was an amazing and attentive waiter, and dining outside in one of the patio Domes (like a geometric modern igloo!) was one of the coolest things we have ever experienced in relation to the culinary world. We were warm in mid-December with our own personal heating unit, and had an incredible overall time. Highly recommended to anyone looking to splurge.

We visited here with 2 other couples for our 45th anniversaries Our hotel (HOTEL MANOIR D'AUTEUIL) recommended this spot and made reservations for us including complimentary Prosecco which was a nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed nthe outstanding food, friendly & engaging staff, and beautiful location. Our server helped us make choices from the large menu and we followed some of his selections. We had the Homemade Charcuterie and Roasted Cauliflower (including the blue cheese dressing) which was the perfect choice (see menu). Also ordered the Confit Duck Leg main course and Sorbet for dessert, all excellent tasty and zesty choices. Highly recommended restaurant.

We had an amazing dinner at the Ophelia. Ingredients were very fresh, and cooked to perfection. The restaurant has modern open kitchen concept and they have area for dry aging their meats. Another major point, they take covid seriously, from asking us about our vaccine cards, to masked servers to high glass enclosures we felt safe dining there. Good itself was very tasty as well, from appetizers to main course. By the time we were done we were quite full and happy. Plus, we packed some leftovers with us.

Seriously had the most AMAZING experience here. The staff here are beyond nice and friendly. Our waiter was the nicest waiter I’ve ever had in my entire life. Everyone here was so welcoming and made the experience great. We had originally booked to sit inside but when we saw they had heated domes we really wanted to sit in one, so we asked and they were so nice to let us do that! Waited a bit at the bar, had a really pretty cocktail and then they lead us into the dome. The food was amazing. Burrata and scallops were extra delicious. It was SO FUN to sit inside the little heated domes and our waiter, like I said before, truly made our experience perfect! HIGHLY recommend. My whole family loved this place!

Our best meal in Quebec city by far. Restaurant is located on a block with other restaurants and a fun vibe. We arrived in the evening and was raining hard so didn't explore the neighbourhood too much. Entering was definitely a vibe...great music, nice atmosphere and beautiful stylish interiors with brick walls to give it that cool Vieux quebec style. Server Philippe was so amazing....first server that asked where we are from, paid attention, great service and so knowledgeable about every dish. We had 2 kids with us and it was no problem at all. Seafood was fresh, squid and pork belly was incredible, burrata was oh so creamy , steaks were done to perfection, clam chowder was light but so flavourful....everything was done with such high quality that you don't feel that gross full afterward. If you like chocolate the bomb was da ???? and Paris brest was like a Ferraro rocher ????. Just an incredible meal . My hubby loved all the drinks her ordered...and old fashions were served with a single ice cube the way it should be . Bon Appétit.

Splendid dinner spot in the heart of the city. Excellent service, with polite and attentive staff and rather enjoyable seafood menu. Second time coming here and always an enjoyable experience. Location is amazing if you stay close and/or plan to continue the soirée elsewhere but can be a bit noisy if you just want a calm and relaxing dinner.

Food is good, service is really bad. Like you try ordering and they’re running away from you. I understand they’re packed and busy but management should hire more staff. For the price you’re paying, service should be way better and people shouldn’t feel rushed. They also forgot some of our orders and had to remind them multiple times.

3.5 ⭐ Really nice restaurant with incredible service! Food on the other hand was a little bland. For the price I was paying I expected much more as far as flavor and seasoning. Will check it out again on my next visit and adjust the review accordingly. Perhaps I just got unlucky on that night. Still recommended when visiting Quebec City!

Absolutely delicious! The service was astonishingly fast and everything was cooked just on point. The staff was very polite and friendly. I'm trying really hard but I can't think of a single negative thing to say about this restaurant. Maybe a bit pricy, but I think with the whole experience its totaly worth it.

Please make sure you make your reservation on their website ahead of time. You won’t regret your visit. My husband and I went to this restaurant during our visit to Quebec City in August 2020, and the experience was amazing, the food was so fresh and yummy. We went back to Quebec City this year for our wedding anniversary, but unfortunately didn’t get the chance to eat there again since a reservation was required and they were fully booked that night.

Ordered octopus and pork belly entree, absolute 10 out of 10 - most tender, fresh tasting octopus I’ve had in a long time. Our second entree was shrimp pasta; hearty portion of shrimp with tasty pasta, sauce was rich and flavorful, would also order again.

The food was amazing, went with my parents who are generally not a fan of western cuisine and they love it. My favourite was the lobster linguine, the portion was small but flavour was creamy and savoury, filled with lobster chunks. The dessert was great especially the cheesecake, it was not too sweet the texture was soft, would definitely recommend a try.

Great place! Abit more on the expensive side, but worth every penny! Had the New Yorker on night, as expected. And another night, we went back from being impressed the first time, I took the rib eye, it was phenomenal, came with 3 little sauces ????Mashed potatoes were da bomb dot com! We're in our early 30's, so were looking for a good vibe, so we sat bar side both nights; LOVED the atmosphere, watching them cook, so much staff, working at a fast pace, it was busy both nights, it was rocking. The guy prepping the fresh shrimp/lobster tail/crab???? plates, was crazy to watch, the focus, presentation and consistency of each dish, was something else!! Definitely 5 star????????

The service at this restaurant was probably the best I have ever had. The host and the waiter were beyond nice, accommodating and friendly. Couldn't have asked for better service !!! Food was delicious although a bit pricey and some of the portion sizes were small but overall a great experience, especially since it was my first time dining in the bubble!

Fabulous experience! My husband had accidentally booked our reservation for the wrong evening. The maître d assured us right away that we could be easily accommodated and seated us within minutes on the gorgeous patio. We had fabulous and attentive service and food was spectacular! Ophelia is THE fine dining institution in Konstanz, in an art déco villa on Lake Constance, and Dirk Hoberk and Team fully deserve their two stars and accolades. The menu we had was excellent from the superb amuse bouche (Lake constance whitefish; cauliflower truffle; charred leek; a very interesting Duroc 'kataifi') through the Scallop with Fennel, Dill, Buttermilk and Caviar, the Carabinero, Monkfish with artichoke and pork belly, to the Guinea Fowl and dessert. Service was attentive but a little on the formal side, but then we were comparing it with service at Schwarzwaldstube the night before. The wine list is strong on local and German wines; note that the Wines from the Bodensee (Lake Constance) at the beginning of the wine list do not clearly distinguish whites and reds which can lead to misunderstandings and in our case indeed led to one... Overall one of the better two stars that we have visited over the years...

This is one of the most popular seafood and steakhouses. I would recommend making a reservation during the prime time. The food is very good ,pricey for some but well worth eating here. If deciding on the Tomahawk steak, be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes to cook this and another 20 minutes for it to be ready to served . All dishes we had were delectable.

We wanted to try Ophelia from all the raving views online about their amazing food but honestly it was the biggest disappointment. The only reason I’m giving the restaurant two stars is for the starters. We ordered the shrimp cocktail and snow crab, which both were good. We ordered the tomahawk steak as our main and we were appalled by the way it tasted, the lack of seasoning, the way it was cooked and it was served cold. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my experience.

The service here was exceptional. The food was good but expected a little more given the price. The seafood platter we had was good - but nothing special (could be because I prefer my crab and lobster warm). Similarly the tomahawk steak was ok and felt underwhelming. Overall was a good experience given the ambiance, service and certain redeeming dishes (cod, oysters).

First time there. Our sever was great and the overall experience was pretty good. Food however wasn’t the best. I asked for a medium rare fillet mignon and got rare (it felt like the cow was still walking rare) and lacked seasoning. I didn’t send it back (I’d prefer they undercook steak than overcook it and ruin it entirely) however not a good first impression. Everything else on the plate (roasted veggies etc) was cooked well. If anyone orders steak ensure it is cooked to your liking and send it back if need be (unlike me). Make the experience worth while as it is not a cheap place to dine out!

Very delicious. Everything to the entrees to the desserts were a pleasure to eat. all the steaks were cooked to the temperature we asked for. I had the filet mignon and it was so tender and delicious. Their mashed potatoes was rich and silky. Really recommended.

Ophelia is a really great experience. The service might have been the best I ever had, the waiter was very professional, very polite and charming. I had delicious cocktails and some red wine to start to pair with my burrata entre wich was the best burrata I have had in quebec. The main course I had octopus and it was perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious. The restaurant was very busy and it took a bit for the food to get to us but we I wasn't in a hurry. This place beautiful and I had a great view of the open kitchen.

Fantastic food, ambiance and service from our guy Jason! The octopus and braised pork belly was amazing. The clam chowder, scallop ceviche, cod (deconstructed fish n chips) and the desserts were all great. Assorted oysters with the jalapeno sauce was bomb. Would recommend!

We tried the tuna ceviche starter (not worth it, skip this), the la demie main dish seafood platter (wife loved this), pasta radiatori with shrimp (healthy olive oil-based), and white brownie dessert. I was impressed with the dessert because it's not too sweet and had a nice flavour.

Amazing seafood dinner! Great cocktails and lovely wine selection. Started with a cold seafood platter followed by lobster linguine and scallops. Great service and nice atmosphere on the terrace. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

First of all, just by the look you should want to go here, it look astonishing! Then you're greeted by some of the nicest people I've ever met, once seated Émilie was taking care of our table and she was amazing, from start to finish we never had to complain about empty drinks or anything! Now for the part you should want to hear about, hehe, the food, THE FOOD! Everything around the table was exquisite, the cooks knows what they do and it shows! For anybody looking for a great time with good food and amazing staff 10/10 would recommend!

Our visit to this magnificent dining establishment exceeded our expectations as we took advantage of sampling the various seafood options offered to us. Our waiter Jean-Simon was extremely friendly and quite knowledgeable in terms of the menu. This place has a massive patio which was a lot of fun and the place was slammed. Service was very good and we were seated and served promptly. Loved most of the dishes. But I was not blown away. We didnt stay for dessert. I would say this is a solid 4 -4.5 I will be back and try some other dishes.

I went for supper on Tuesday night looking forward to great food after having seen the pictures of their dishes online. We ordered a cauliflower appetizers with hardly any cauliflower … as a main dish I ordered the octopus where I got 4 LITTLE TAILS not 4 octopus “arms” (in other words they gave us the bottom part of the octopus) Completely over priced and an awful experience.

The restaurant has real character. Comfortable and well appointed. Neat to watch food/seafood being prepared from mezzanine seating. Service was good. Great choice from reasonable to splurge. My wife had Halibut, I had salmon. The food was hot and properly prepared, but neither of us thought the recipe was 5 star. Thus the 4 star rating.

We had an amazing experience at the restaurant. The waiter was very friendly and accommodating and the food was also great. Scallop ceviche was very different with the initial kick of paprika then the tanginess of the raspberry then the creaminess of the scallop which was very interesting. We also had the raw oysters - quite small but very tasty. I want to try the baked versions next! The main course was lobster linguine and the pork belly and grilled octopus. I preferred the pork and octopus because it had more texture and there was larger portions but linguine was absolutely fantastic and would recommend. The dessert was Paris Brest and the strawberry dome. The dome had the wow factor of pouring hot milk over a chocolate dome which melted over a cake but the Paris Brest was delicious without being overly sweet! It gets very busy but I highly recommend this place if you can find a spot!

I am visiting this city, I decided to take my family to eat at this restaurant and SURPRISE !! When I asked for a table for my family they told me that there are no tables available, but I see many tables available !! the hostes told me that she can't give me a table because there are so many of us! (7) 5 kids, my wife and I! I see a lot of people here eating right now! After telling her to give me two separate tables, her response was overwhelming. I CAN'T GIVE THEM A TABLE BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT FROM QUEBEC "what ??????? seriously ? I thought there was no discrimination in this country but there is! Too bad for this restaurant that they let people like this work!

Best Salmon I ever had. Great food, amazing service. Only thing they can work on is music. Background music should be french (Cabrel, Aznavour) or classical, not dance elevator music. Other than the music, everything else was perfect.

If you walk by this place, it’s definitely worth a visit to this place. The seafood here is very fresh, and the presentation is also very nice. Also, if you visit this place, you should try dôme for the dessert.

Loved this place. Had the mixed oysters to start, my boyfriend had the steak tartare both were sublime. For mains I had the New York Steak which the mushroom sauce was the perfect addition to. My other half had the grilled octopus and pork flank which was delicious. Thank you for the great food and service!
