In einer ungewöhnlichen Umgebung (Shopping Mall) findet sich hier eine wirkliche Perle in Quebec-City. Unsere Gruppe aus vier Personen war einheitlich begeistert, der Service war sehr gut, die Weinkarte ausgezeichnet. Steaks waren auf dem Punkt, die Ente innen zartrosa. An einem Wochenende war es übrigens hier sehr ruhig und wir haben draußen unter Sonnenschirmen sitzen können ohne vom Verkehrslärm belästigt zu werden. Wer mit dem Auto fährt: Parkplätze sind wirklich genug vorhanden.

What an amazing discovery! I’d give 6 stars on 5 for this one if I could. We stopped as a group of six late on July 27th. The food was just amazing and the service was impeccable! We had good laughs with Kathleen who was an incredible waitress. She was always a step ahead and was so fun. She’s been working there for around 10 years and you can see she loves people and her job. I think the newest waiter has been working there 2.5 years unfortunately I forgot to ask his name. He was a super nice guy as well. They look like a big family and this really makes a good ambiance. I wish we could stay another day to go back. Next time we’re in Quebec it will be top on our list. Thanks for the great experience!

We arrived at Quebec City today at 4pm. After a quick online search, I found this restaurant with the highest ranking near my hotel. It was great to make a reservation at 7:30pm on the same day. My sister and I ordered the Flétan. It tasted great with a little Lobster, tomato and potato, and delicious sauces. In addition, the service guys are very nice in an very comfortable environment. It was a great choice to kick off the summer vacation in Quebec City. Well done, Bistro La Cohue!

This bistro was very near our hotel, and had good reviews. I ordered the halibut from gaspesie…. When the dish arrived I was concerned with the amount of sauce, with a delicate fish…. We were in Quebec City for the weekend and had supper at Bistro La Cohue, we were amazed at the food and service. Order from the "Table d’hôte" and started with Salmon Gravlax on a bed of celery root slaw, with pickled onions, was simply amazing!! Then had the a carrot Potage and was perfectly seasoned and tasty... My main dish was a duck leg "Confit" with puree and veggies, having had many duck confit in the past, this was done to perfection. My wife had a salmon and also perfect!! Lastly we had their classic Crème Brûlée. All the dishes were very generous in amount of food on the plate, the sauces were perfect. Then came the Service, outstanding, very helpful and flexible for the people in our group who have to deal with food allergies... I would highly recommend Bistro La Cohue if you are ever in the Quebec City area!!

I could feel over the phone when I spoke with you about getting a quote for your catering service that you basically told me to get the hell out as your were not interested in doing what I was expecting for my event. I gave it a chance and see if it was worth it trying to work with you. Decided to go to your restaurant, food wasn't that great and very overpriced, fair customer service. For the amount of money I spent there, there are plenty on nicer and tastier place to go. Sorry!

A perfect place. Amazed at execution of dishes at lunchtime even if not ordering from the lunch specials. A fantastic value for the money and a fairly good choice of wines by the glass to pair with each dish. Do not let the strip mall location fool you. This is awesome cuisine and worth a visit or more. Totally off the tourist path but easily accessible but metrobus 800 or 801 and get off at the Begon stop.

My husband and I came here and are both vegetarian. We quickly noticed they did not have any vegetarian options on the menu. The waitress told us that she could speak to the chef to try and make us something special. He made us the best, most deliciously cheesy pasta dish we have ever had in our lives. Our waitress was also amazing!! best service and best food! We will be returning for sure when we come back to Quebec City!!!!
