We came to the sunset lounge with high expectations. Paul absolutely surpassed our expectations. From the appetizers to the cocktails, to the amazing kitchen staff who deliver authentic, delicious food, we were very satisfied and happy with our experience. Thank you, and we’ll be back for karaoke and trivia nights!

A must visit location in downtown Prince Rupert! Best veggie pakora I've eaten, friendly and welcoming local team make this a place you want to come back to. Quality signature drinks that you would expect to have from a 5 star hotel lobby. Try the grapefruit negeroni, you won't be disappointed.

The BESTEST food I have ever tasted! I have travelled across many places in North America and this is the best I have came across randomly. Last time I had this flavorfull taste which could give any challenge was in California which is most of the Bollywood's favorite. I mean this is some epic level quality this family owned, fun and loving place offers. I highly recommend a delighfull meal at Sunset Lounge which will bring your soul peace!

Great atmosphere and amazing Chaat. Everything else was good, but not awesome. The butter gravy fries were not as good as expected...the fries were lukewarm verging on cold, and the cheese curds were not melted. The $16 veggie pakora were hot but the two sauces that came with them were way too small. Waiter unfortunately assumed we wanted level 1 in spiciness without asking us. Very flavourful and hot chai. Not busy at the time with 3 tables including us. We were also surprised we were charged a different amount than what the menu states for both the Chaat and the Sunset Salad.

Sunset has become my favourite restaurant in Prince Rupert. The pizza is authentic and the best in town. The butter chicken poutine is the best dish in town, PERIOD. The samosas and pakoras are the most delicious I've ever had. Great for takeout, delivery and the BEST for dining in (when there isnt a pandemic happening). 5 Stars, the cream of the crop here in Rupert.

Everything about this dining experience was horrible. There was only one other occupied table while we were there. An appetizer dinner and drinks were ordered. Appy took over a half hour to arrive at the table, drinks showed up after the appy. There was less than a tablespoon of dipping sauce for the appetizer so we asked for more...which did not even end up coming to the table. Our two mains showed up about 10 mins apart and the added naan bread showed up after all dinner was done. Yam fries were burn and sent back. The new yam fries came with the naan at the end burnt aswell. The shahi paneer which was order extra spicy tasted like tomato soup the naan bread was gummy and the chicken wrap was flavorless, over cook chicken, and 90% rice. I do not recommend eating here.

Dined in at this place twice in the last two weeks due to its high reviews online. However, both times were extremely disappointing and frustrating. After the first time, we returned to give this place a second chance and had an even worse experience. I'm not sure if this place just re-opened or what is going on but if you dine in you'll be waiting over an hour for appetizers alone and nobody will check on you after you place an order, to top up drinks or ask how things are. Our order was missing items both visits, and to even get somebody to come back to the table to speak to you or bring water, you have to yell from your table towards the bar where everyone stands with their heads down. There was only 4 tables in the whole restaurant during both visits with 4 people out front. Even when we said "Excuse me", they stood there waiting for us to go up to them? When you bring up a mistake or issues to the FOH staff they just stand there and don't know how to respond. Maybe a training issue? We also watched food pile up in the window, but nobody was running it. We received cold food during both visits. This space has a lot of potential, so I hope they continue to work out some kinks.

One of the best places to eat and grab drinks in Prince Rupert. The food is mouth watering, the cocktails are creative and delicious, and the staff are genuine and friendly. Would definitely recommend checking it out if you have the chance
