Wednesday evening anniversary dinner night. Walked in to no one at the front and stood waiting for someone. Couple minutes and we are seated. Mojito for first drink, flat soda. Wife' s salad was good according to her. Both had pasts. Mine was the sausage Penne, which was ok. Wife had bolognese that came out with about a cup of parm on it. Caught the waitress to order wine. Wine came with six fruit flies in it, taken away, given new one. Finished my pasta, wife did not. Looked like a blob from Boston Pizza, turned to mush quickly. Paid bill, left, likely not to be back. Will stick to Cimos and other places.

(Translated) Well I would have expected something more, the location is very appealing at first glance, but with the white lighting everything is very cool. I did not choose the restaurant, but as a vegetarian you will not find it on the menu. However, I was offered one of the dishes without the meat, which in principle is completely fine. Unfortunately, the kitchen could not convince the food can only be described as boring. I suppose the meat would have been the best part, the pasta was very greasy because of the many cream but otherwise had no taste. (Original) Naja ich hätte etwas mehr erwartet, die Lokalität ist auf den ersten Blick sehr ansprechend, doch mit der weissen Beleuchtung ist alles sehr Kühl. Ich habe das Restaurant nicht ausgesucht, jedoch wird man als Vegetarier nicht fündig auf der Karte. Mir wurde jedoch eines der Gerichte ohne das Fleisch angeboten, was im Prinzip komplett in Ordnung ist. Leider konnte die Küche nicht überzeugen das Essen kann nur als langweilig bezeichnet werden. Ich nehme an das Fleisch wäre wohl das beste daran gewesen, die Pasta war nur sehr Fettig wegen dem vielen Rahm hatte aber sonst keinen Geschmack.

The place and atmosphere was good comparing other places in PG. Restaurant classy, well decorated but pricy for the quality you get. Extremely good service, the server was nice and fast. The onion flavour was so strong and the pasta was ok. Ordering a cocktail is not the best idea ever at this restaurant, any Cariboo or Pacific beer would be even better... enjoy yourself!

Well worth your time and money! North 54 was an excellent experience for a high end restaurant. The establishment was well kept, calm and atmospheric, and the staff (shoutout Danielle) were very friendly and personable. The prices were exceptionally reasonable and the food quality arguably some of the best in Prince George. In my opinion, far superior to establishments like the keg and a go to for special occasions in the forseeable future.

North 54 really hit it out of the park tonight! we started with the calamari- cooked perfectly! my husband had the chorizo penne and i had the thai salad with steak. the steak was perfectly done to the medium rare i asked for. my husband said his chorizo was excellent. topped the night off with their banana cheesecake, one of my faves! don’t forget to support local and still go out to our restaurants during these Covid times!! We don’t want to lose these gems!

Myself and my daughter had supper here on Oct 15th, 2021. The service was excellent the waitresses were nice and informative. The food was excellent they have an awesome dessert the atmosphere is relaxed and classy. I do recommend this place.

My dad is a recovering cancer patient so he has a lot of ups and downs that middle of the meal, we decided to take the food to go and then he changed his mind and wanted to stay...they went from putting our food into takeout to replating our food again.

North 54 is an upscale restaurant in Prince George, and definitely among the best. The food was quite good, with one of the best desserts I've ever eaten, the service was great, and the ambiance is worth going out for. I highly recommend the lobster ravioli, a dish my dining companion was kind enough to share some bites with me. I had the lamb chops, which were also excellent; I loved the mint sauce my entrée came with.. They offer flights of wine, which I didn't try, but want to during a future visit (what a great idea), and the dessert I had, the crispy banana cheesecake, was wonderful in every way. While North 54 can be a little pricey, I still highly recommend it to anyone looking to have a good dinner out.

Wanted to try this place for our 25th wedding anniversary. Walked in and figured that we were ok to get a seat as there was only 2 sets of tables filled....told that they were not taking any walkins...she was too busy as she was the only server..... Very disappointed...

From the moment I walked in I fell in love. The decor was amazing. Love the blues and seafoam green. The Art Deco and style. The manager did an amazing job. Having moved from the lower mainland to PG I was looking for a great place to celebrate our move. Couldn't have been more impressed. We had the escargot, duck and risotto, spaghetti Carbonara and a dessert of cheese for the missus and an assortment of delicious treats for me. The waitress and service was on par. Extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about their food and drinks. I highly recommend this place and will be back to try the lamb!!

A delightful Valentines Day Eve dinner was had! Low light, enjoyable music at an appropriate volume, and all staff were masked with the exception of the bartender whose mask seemed to keep slipping below his nose. The food was delicious and the beverages complimented them perfectly. The washrooms were tidy, and the tables appropriately spaced apart to fit COVID restrictions.

Had parents 50th Wedding Anniversary at North 54 and had a truly fabulous evening! Every meal at the table was absolutely sumptuous. Excellent food - best in PG! Our waiter was informative, friendly and professional and provided excellent service. He wasn't hard on the eyes either! We were put in a quiet area which was very nice but the restaurant went above and beyond the call of duty when they presented our parents with a gorgeous bouquet of roses in honour of their 50th. Very classy. You will definitely enjoy a visit to North 54!!!

This use to be my favorite restaurant. sadly since the new managment, I havnt been to pleased. The inside looks beautiful but it seems as if they have took short cuts with the food now. The wild scallops are now served with barely any sauce and its flavorless. It use to have the perfect amount of portions that were filled with so much flavour, sadly it is no longer our date night place.

There is a real care for detail in this restaurant , from the dishes to decor, fresh ingredients, fun and attentive staff all around from the front of house on, a cozy yet classy atmosphere that you want to spend time in. Really a surprise to find some place like this in a Northern town. Reasonably priced and the coffee is great. Ask about the paw prints in the terracotta tiles that came from Italy!

This place is overpriced for what you get and their lunch was horrible. My garlic was so burnt it was unrecognizable and bitter and the entire dish was just horrible and unpalatable. My salad was over dressed and soggy. Will not be back

My gf had the lobster ravioli which she raved about, we shared the stuffed mushrooms which were alright, and I had the duck which was not cooked to my liking at all however the took it off my bill and I got an amazing deep fried banana cheesecake instead which was heaven. The overall experience was wonderful. I would definitely go back and try it again.

My favourite restaurant in town. Honestly, it seems expensive, but compared to other restaurants prices and quality the price difference is negligible. Their lobster ravioli is amazing. It's one of our go-to restaurants for a nice date night.

This restaurant entrees were very nice. Not blown away by anything really. The charcuterie board looked cheap and messy. Their cocktails/ martinis were tasty but lacked originality. Most impressive item was their small cheese plate. Service staff and kitchen staff were obviously at odds with each other and communication was poor. I was expecting a lot out of North 54 and was let down. Also the skylight made for obnoxious lighting in an otherwise cozy and romantic atmostphere. Probably wont rush back, and choose somewhere with local options for half the cost.

Food quality was terrible Cold steak sent back. Once it came back it was blue rare instead of medium. Super bland food. Zero flavor. Came in a group of 30 people or so...reserved way ahead of time. Only had 2 cooks on that night. Quite a few people sent their food back. Not impressed for a fine dining restaurant!

The waiting time was ridiculously long! It took us two hours to have our dinner. Small menu and short on staff. One of us asked for vegetarian option and the server assumed that the rest of us are also the same. They had to redo the dinner after the huge waiting time.
