Nice place, a bit pricey, but the food was really good. The accepted a reservation & pre-ordered food for the large group I was with (10 people), and we only waited a few minutes for our food to be ready. Free WiFi, good speed and connection.

Had dinner there on Saturday night. Great, lively place with excellent food. Really nice staff as well. The only stickler was the Uber Eats drivers who hang around the front and are very disruptive. One guy stood in a parking spot as a guest tried to park their car and he would not move to allow this guest to park. Unreal! I would have given a 5 but changed it to 4 because of the nuisance drivers loitering.

Tried Browns for the first time today, with my wife and two sons(10&13). A door person had us seated within 5 minutes. Our booth was comfortable, although a bit snug for two adults, and the boys seemed very comfortable. Our server(Brian?), was exceptional. Brian had an accent, and the kids had fun guessing where he was from(England). He was very personable, and got to know us reasonably, without edging into stalker territory ????. Brian also had a great touch with our kids, and listened to their orders carefully, treating them with respect. while at the same time having fun conversing with them at their level. Leaving them each a chocolate Easter egg was a brilliant touch, and that edged him out of the 15% tip range and into the 20-25% range. The food was delicious and well prepared, and we didn't have to wait long to enjoy it. I had the smokehouse burger, and the Tai Chicken soup. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the open eating concept, but it called a social house after all, and the atmosphere reflected the intent. I did find it a bit on the warm side, and would have preferred it a little cooler. All together we had an enjoyable experience at Browns Social House, and would certainly go there again, when our budget allows.

Went for lunch this past Saturday with two friends. We were seated quickly - good service and staff. The burgers were DELICIOUS!!! Only two concerns - it is becoming very common for people to order burgers without the bread/bun. I think this needs to be an alternative with price reduction just like there is an increased charge if you swap to yam fries. Secondly the music was hideous and very very loud. I have no idea which demographic you are aimed at but we all hated the music. Overall our experience was good and we’ll come again

I have been a customer of this establishment for the last few months , please tell your staff that smiling is free, I was acknowledged after 5 minutes of standing by the door, to then be offered a seat at the bar with the sun towards my back I believe my average bill is about $50.00 per seating and consider myself a decent tipper I understand the world is turned upside down , but not just for you but for all of us, i get a warmer welcome whn I walk into US Customs , a smile would make a world of difference, yes your waitresses are gorgeous, but believe me Im there for the food and drinks, i took my business elsewhere wherr people smile

Excellent Service, good Gluten Free options. We had great service for a Saturday lunch. Our Celiac daughter had the shrimp tempura dynamite roll, but they pan fried the shrimp instead of using tempura as they do not have a dedicated gluten free deep-fryer. They also served her gluten free soy sauce to dip and garnished it with a spicy mayo as the normal soy glaze also isn't gluten free. We felt confident in their preparation, and she enjoyed it (but found the mayo too spicy so we scraped it off, they offered to re-make it for us w/o the mayo). We were told one of the managers has Celiac disease and so the kitchen is well versed in what works and is ok. The chicken tacos were a hit, the Thai curry soup was enjoyed by both adults and the spicy chicken burger was excellent. Kids beverages were no charge, and they do have limited kids items on the menu, but you may have to ask. Overall we found it to be an enjoyable experience and will return.

Sunday August 11th, 2019. Check #54083 @ 2:51 PM Not one of Brown Social House's better days.. Seven guests and the majority of the meals were less than expected, we couldn't order what we wanted to because they were "all out" so we had to pick other options. Those options ended up being less than we hoped for. The service was good, but the food was a let down (skimpy portions and not worth the price charged). For most of us it was a first time visit, which was disappointing, given how we were told this was a "fantastic place" for brunch..

I often visit Browns, it’s kinda turned into my “go to” place for a bite to eat. Good service, but lately I’ve noticed the food quality has gone down hill. Also, what’s with all the fruit flys! Hard to enjoy a meal when you’ve got bugs flying around and landing on your plate, exactly the reason I don’t eat on patios.. kinda gross :(

Ordered off of skipthedishes, food arrived very quickly but after eating some of the food it was obvious as to why. Our food had been sitting since before we ordered, most of it was stale/already getting cold despite showing up pretty fast. Ate most of my fries and discovered shrimp butts from someone elses meal, needless to say I did not finish eating and won't be ordering from here again.

Food was decent, though nothing special. Drinks were great, especially the Bellini that they have on the menu 10/10 there. Unfortunately the service was pretty bad. Don't get me wrong the staff were nice and polite but they were amazingly slow. Each time we ordered a drink it would take at least 30 minutes to come and I ordered a drink that never even showed up. This wasn't due to being busy either only 3 tables were full (our group taking over 2 out of those 3) and there was one guy at the bar. If the service was even just decent I would bump then to a 4/5 but I'm tempted to drop it to a 2 because of service their Bellini saved them.

We had their 2 can dine menus. I did get the potatoe crusted Cod entree. Is ent it back for lack of taste on the Cod. I got the Alfredo instead was excellent. Our server was great and accommodated us great. But i was upset that we couldn't get the recipe for the gravy. The gravy is out of this world!

I had the eggs Benedict for brunch. What a horrible meal. I've had croutons that were softer than the hashbrowns. Had to look under the eggs to make sure the meat was put on the order. Meat was the size of a toonie. If you enjoy small portions of overcooked food this is the place for you. Definitely will not be a repeat customer.

First time at a Brown's Social House and I have to say that it was an absolutely perfect time. The food came in big and delicious portions at a fair price. Not to mention that despite the incredibly busy evening they were having, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Went twice for work socials and both times was very disappointed and will never go again. Got their dragon bowl, which was just drowning in teriyaki sauce, the vegetables were shriveled and looked re-cooked. The meat was only a few chunks and overall was super lack luster. Second time shared a nacho and it was ice cold when it got to the table. Sent it back and they only re-heated the nacho, burning all the chips around the circumference. Taste was nothing special, the chips were super thin and could have made way better at home. Don't understand how for the prices and the quality of food they are still in business.

Food was good. Staff was helpful, friendly, and funny too. The food was good too, had a burger and fries. Except when I ordered gravy for my fries, they put the gravy in a narrow bowl that was really tall and only filled it halfway, making it difficult to get what I want as I got closer to the bottom. That's the first time I've been to a restaurant and actually found it slightly inconvenient to dip fries into gravy.

I was there yesterday with my partner Patrick and we ordered the Crusted Cod Bowl because we really enjoyed it the first time had it. There must have been a different cook because the presentation was not like the first time we ordered it. It looked like it was just thrown on the plate in a hurry and my partner found a hair on a crouton. We must have got the bottom of the rice pot because the jasmine rice was brown. The waitress ordered another one for him but by the time he got another one I was finished mine. We also had to travel a hour and a half home and were on a *time frame. We may however give it another try and see how it is next time. Consistency bring us back to any restaurant.

Ordered from skip the dishes app for pickup took an hour for them to complete order then waited at the host stand for over 10 to 15 mins after pickup time when the lady told me it would only be 1 min they are just finishing packing your order now. Not very good customer service in my book. Also asked me again what order I was asking for. Will not me ordering for here again anytime soon

Yay! Coming from Nanaimo was excited to see Prince George now has a Browns! First off the waitress was on point, she made me the best Caesar I've had in awhile. I ordered the dynamite roll. The food was fast, fresh and exactly how it is in Nanaimo which was exactly what I was after. I would definately recommend this place if your looking for a fancy meal that wont break your bank. Wow. Overpriced! Guiness Pint for $9.25... A kids portion sized Sirloin for $27.95... Please learn to make Nachos! The topping was soaked through the Nachos and ended baked as a solid foundation on the baking paper. The Nachos ended up soggy. On the good side: Pop is free refill. I think this was our first and last visit. Too bad... I like the location.

Service was very fast and friendly, the food was amazing. Had the calamari to start with and it was not only at our table within minutes of ordering but was also perfectly cooked. Had one of there burgers with the Alaskan highway gravy and it was extremely delicious that gravy is insane. Although I think the best part was the oreo cheesecake dessert! This was my first time eating here and I will definitely be back!

service was really good, they were out of a lot of things but thats alright, it was probably because they are so busy right now, The food we had was really good (nashville sandwich, and chicken quesadilla) with the exception of the calamari, it was practically inedible, we really like calamari, so we tried to like it, but is was so extremely over salted, it almost hurt my mouth to eat it, so we left most of it and let the server know, we still had to pay for it regardless, which was surprising, but thats okay, all restaurants do things differently. The decor is really nice, it is very loud though, and not because of all of the people in there, but they keep the music on pretty high. They have a really cute patio that was closed, but looking forward to sitting out there next time. The best part of this place was definitely the service.

After complaining to the server the manager came over and told us the meal would be no charge. when I told him I expected better service out of Brown's Social House he got rude and defensive saying the meal is free what more would I expect. This restaurant has been open only a few days. Beautiful; but than it should, its brand new. Service was a little slow. They were quick to sit us down; slow on taking our drink order and even slower getting our drinks served. The food is a bit pricey; drinks not so bad. Food was good and the portions reasonable. Staff was excellent. lots of bodies; but I'm sure that will taper down once the novelty is over. Will I come back. Of course I will; but it will not be often. A Lot other good restaurants in this city that are not as expensive!

At about 4:30pm We had just beat the dinner rush, no wait. Service was great, food was good. On our way out, about 5:30pm the large open area that is also outdoor seating was packed with 20+ people waiting to get to the counter just to get their names on a list. Staff were attentive and prompt even at full capacity inside. Biggest downside has to be the way engineers from large cities that drive small cars, design parking lots. The new access and parking is downright awful and dangerous.

Although we live within a few blocks of Browns Socialhouse we have only been there twice in the past few weeks. Both times we were served by well-trained young people, the seating was very comfortable, and the apples and drinks during happy hour were great and delicious! This last time I forgot my iPhone there and when I finally realized where I last had it, I went back and they had it safely tucked away with my name on it. I was very relieved and am very grateful for the honest, supportive staff! I will be advertising to everyone I know to try out Browns Socialhouse, especially during Happy Hour! Try the deep-fried cauliflower!

Decent for eat in, even good. Take out DO NOT ORDER. Your food will arrive soggy and with many missing items, every time. They do not care to apologize or fix anything, just argue over the phone very rudely. I’m not a jerk customer and don’t deserve to be repeatedly treated this way. Will be avoiding altogether because of my bad experiences with takeout multiple times now.

The food was good and a nice atmosphere although $18 for a mediocre burger and fries is too much. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger with Dijon. The meat was good but couldn't taste the Dijon, very little cheese and only a few mushrooms. A&W has a better Swiss mushroom burger. The caesar was only half size for full price. Oreo cheesecake dessert was good.

What makes this place my favorite is how well trained and equipped the staff are at Browns. Years of experience go in to this awesome spot for libations and flavorful food. Like in full metal jacket, the movie.. like the marines march saying this is my rifle, there are many like it but this one is mine.. Browns is my upscale casual social house, there are some like it, but this one is mine. Keep up the great work to everyone from the Hostesses to the Restaurant Chefs and the Owner. It is always a pleasure. *key lime pie, best dessert*

Browns has great food! However, we were out for a celebratory meal and the server messed up my order. So I only received my dinner as everyone else was finishing theirs. (The other people were purposefully eating slowly to try and wait for me as well) And as someone that has worked in the industry before I understand this happens, but I have never seen a restaurant respond so poorly to a mess up that they were responsible for.

Browns has become my go to for so many events. I have been there for wings, happy hour, date night, girls night, and brunch. They have an amazing menu and such a friendly and welcoming crew. Forever loving the crispy cauliflower bites, crispy fries with Alaskan gravy and the classic fish and chips. So yum

Had the crunchy tuna bowl and would recommend. The food and drinks were good, it was a little disorganized due to some of the covid restrictions and the front of the restaurant got a little busy with people waiting for a table, but good staff and food made up for it.

Very pleased with the quality of this, especially considering it's a new restaurant and the kitchen staff are still learning the ropes. Excellent service as well. Decently priced but don't go if you're expecting a 10$ meal. Only problem was the music was a tad too loud, but I also sat under the speaker so I can't speak for the rest of the restaurant.

Just visited Browns Socialhouse in Prince George, the food was good, service was good, atmosphere Social.. My only complaint, for some reason they are using a bleach solution to clean the tables I think. Such a toxic product and one I am allergic to, I suggest what I use in my own home a mixture of rubbing alcohol hydrogen peroxide mixed with water and a bit of dish soap. So unfortunately unable to go back unless they no longer use bleach.

I was Very disappointed. The whole family of 8 was there in the afternoon for moms birthday. the burger was so small, fries were burnt. service was good and very apologetic. however the food was not worth the price, $18.00 for a tiny burger and burnt fries. Looking at the other reviews of undercooked fries, they seem to be over compensating.

Dinner took 45 minutes, everything came out luke warm. Ordered SZECHUAN BEEF NOODLE BOWL with no beef and was still charged the full price. Disappointed that browns is so behind on the vegetarian world, was told more veggies were added in replace but since last time there wasn’t anymore added. Will not be going back. Earls is way better.

was much bigger inside than expected, and very well laid out. the staff were all nice and knowledgeable about what they were serving. ordered a caesar and was asked if horseradish was ok to be in, I've personally never had one made like that but i tried it anyways and OH MAN, the best caeser I've ever had, hands down. this time around i tried just some appetizers and the calamari was perfect, not rubbery like I've found most places to be and their fries were delicious and stayed hot for a long time. i will be back

I've eaten here twice now with a good friend and her daughter. It's her daughter's favorite restaurant. I've only ever eaten the burgers and fries, but no complaints and today the fries were perfect. Servers are always polite and friendly, and never a mistake on the order. The "Social Laguer" tastes like cheap bear... mostly because it's cheap beer. It's usually good enough to order a second though so can't take a star for that.

I went to the social first time with my whole family yesterday and I would like to share our visit .firstly, there was so many servers one table ,they weren’t communicating with each other we ordered two cooks and we got one they never delivered second .secondly ,plates were dirty and we showed them.order took too long thirty minutes after the starters , food was very good we appreciate it .lastly , my kid drink got mosquito in the glass and we ask to the server bring an other one and they charged both of them. Funny part was manger said she is taking kids drink of which shouldn’t be charged.
