Easy to miss, as the biggest sign is for the convenience store, not the cafe. Very friendly welcome. Good service throughout. Menu was unexciting, but the food was very good. We appreciated the fresh, handcut bread for toast, sausages that weren't deep fried, homemade home fries, the perfect poached eggs, etc. PS. I didn't order homefries, and nor was I charged for them, but they were delicious! Bonus!!

Exceptional service and very welcoming atmosphere. I was so impressed with the amount and quality of food for the price. Seems to be mostly family owned and operated. Where I am from it would have cost us at least $15 more for the food we got. I highly reccomend trying this place out. Very happy I stopped in! Thanks Blue Goose for the hospitality!

I've honestly been going to the Blue Goose for as long as I can remember, and it has 100% stayed the same all these years! Besides the location of course! The Blue Goose was originally next to its current location and was a restaurant all on its own! My huge family would go there for almost every occasion. Now my hubby and I have continued the tradition. My absolute favorite by far is their breakfast! Hubby says their chowder is pretty bomb too! It honestly feels so homey when you are seated and waiting for your food, you usually see the same faves working and they are always so delightful! We usually only wait less than 10 minutes to get our order as well! You can also buy the art that they have hanging on their walls, which is painted locally and are absolutely beautiful! And to top it off, it's also a convience store, bakery and ice cream shop all in one!

I met with some guys at the Blue Goose on a Saturday morning to have breakfast and chat, and we had a great time over a couple of hours. The staff were all friendly and service was top notch. Our meals were delicious and very well priced. We plan on getting together on a regular basis and the Blue Goose will be our go to place.

Quaint little restaurant. Seems to be divided into two seating sections, though I'm not sure why. A friend and I ordered burgers and they were quite decent. There's also a convenience store attached to the restaurant that sells all sorts of interesting things like freshly baked homemade goods. Although it's a very simple place, it does have some island charm.

Another restaurant in the area recommended us to dine here as they had ran out of food. We looked at the website and saw they closed at 8PM. We arrived at 6:50 PM & were told that they were closed at 7PM and had changed their hours weeks ahead but not on their website. After driving there I asked if they had time to take an order. There were still people sitting in and eating but we were told that we'd have to take our food and leave. We also could only choose from fried foods on the menu. We were very disappointed with the service we recieved and with the fact that their website wasn't updated. It was the first time eating here and it was the last time. The upkeep of the whole place being restaurant, store and bakery was very bad. It wasn't very clean or well stocked. Very disappointed in the whole place. I hope the owners make some changes within their establishment soon.

Not much to look at but if you are looking for inexpensive diner - type fare then you can't go wrong. Fettuccine Alfredo soup is quite good. I'm sure it is calorie free as well.????

Had the privilege of dining here years ago. Was recently in PEI and made a special trip to have lunch here. Definitely not disappointed!! Food was hot and fresh, large portions. So delicious...like a trip back in time to my Grandmothers kitchen! My dining partner and I both left full and satisfied. We also purchased some of the fresh baked goodies on offer yo take with us. Cannot wait for my next trip east.

I called in my order, as I was travelling through to go up West. My was ready in the 15min. and it was delicious. I had the Clubhouse on whole wheat and they were right the coleslaw was really good. Great service, very polite, and I'll definitely be ordering again.

This is the second time I ate here. The first time was for breakfast. Home made bread toasted was a real treat. Service was very friendly. Decided to try here again for super. I was not disappointed. I had the fish and chips. Very good. Nice flaky batter not greasy at all. Price was good and so was the service. Not fancy, not gourmet, just good food at a good price. Will be going there again for sure.
