You will be able to see the feddbacks of people who purchase the products and services of The Spice Trail And The Lounge Trishna (Restaurant) in Prince Albert territory (Canada).
Right now this firm gets a rating of 4.6 over 5 and this rating is based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, the average score it has is nearly the top, and it's founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we may be quite sure that the rating is very reliable. If people have bothered to leave their feddback when they are happy with the business, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to set feddbacks when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Indian restaurant.
Great food! Excellent staff and people! Will definitely be back!
The restaurant was clean. Everything on the buffet was hot. The meat was very tender. I was a little disappointed in the butter chicken, but I may just be spoiled. lol Overall, I would love to stop in again the next time I'm in PA.
Stopped by for Lunch break. Ordered à la carte. Food tastes good and was able to get back to work with 10 minutes to spare. #veggiemanchurian #veggienoodles #butternaan
We are always delighted with the delicious food. Butter chicken is our first love, but used to love the buffet before Covid. Even their delivery people are friendly. We look forward to dining in again soon.
Being first time in the town. I wont recommend this buffet place to any one who is fond of eating. I tried buffet n spices are not there in anythin. The food was just ok ok not that great as the reviews say. Other than spices the option to eat are not much. Very limited stuff in buffet.
I would like to say this is the best Indian food in the city. Customer service is the best. Food was delicious.
Good food and owners are really sweet!
Fabulous food and amazing service. I was hesitant to try Indian food in city like PA, but I was surprised beyond my imagination with food and flavors. If you are someone who is looking for authentic taste, go there.
Absolutely delicious food and the #1 choice for gluten-free options in the entire city! Would give them five stars except they have some issues when it comes to takeout or delivery: I often have to wait 10-15 minutes longer for my food than they quote when picking up, and I have had to call and ask where it was a couple of times when having it delivered after waiting 15 minutes than their quoted times.
We went to this restaurant for lunch. The staff is very unfriendly. They were staring at the customers and laughing. That was very disappointing. They were feeling like they are giving the food for free. This is the worst restaurant that I have ever been to. The food was pathetic. I could not eat the garlic naan. This is not the recommended restaurant for Indians. If they are using Indian names they should learn to respect Indians first.
Best traditional Indian restaurant in Saskatchewan! You need to eat here if you're in PA.
The best Indian food I have ever tasted outside. Owners are very professional and know their gig.
If you haven’t yet, try. I’m visiting from Denver CO and noticed the excellent reviews, so decided to stop in for some chicken fried rice and beef stuffed naan takeout. I’ve tried more East Indian restaurants than I can count, and I can confidently say these folks know what they’re doing. Very nice people also. On waiting for my order, one of the owner invited me to sit, so we chatted for a bit. My trips from Watrous are annual, and am sure to visit here every chance I get. My culinary highlight of PA.
Welcoming and Nice food. Everything served looked and tasted really fresh. Even the naan breads weren't chewy! I loved the food and service. The only thing I didn't like is the quantity of food served for it's price. That's the only thing to keep in mind, you might not get the quantity you expect.
I went to this restaurant, I waited 40 minute for my food. I only saw my server and owner of the place once during that time before I got my food. When I got my food I did not see them again for another 20 minutes, I required more Nan for my two curry's that cost over $14+ each, My dishes did not come with rice which did not make sense/ had to purchase rice for $6, My curry dish was absolutely small was not worth it. I left disappointed and I also tipped which I'm starting to think i should have been cheap about just like their portion.
Amazing service, private booths, and the best curry and naan in the city. Highly recommend.
This is one of my favorite places to eat period. I love taking friends out to eat delicious curry and naan, and they have many menu options beyond that. If you love flavourful food and great service, I recommend this restaurant.
Spice Trail was my first introduction to East Indian food, and now it's a weekly staple for me. They offer traditional meals as feel as well as some creative East Indian/American fusions. I've been many times and the food has always been …
One of my favorite places to go! Tasty food (at reasonable prices), inviting atmosphere and the best part, friendly owners & staff! It's like going to a friends house for dinner. ????
I was asked very politely to leave a review, but they didn’t specify if they wanted it to be Favourable! But in all seriousness, this is a very good Restaurant. I’ve been here twice and I’m eager to go again. I’ve tried items that are unknown to me and everything has been delicious. They have a beautiful masala chai tea, that is perfect before any dish. The yogurt used in many dishes is made in house and you can really taste the difference. I love the butter paneer and my friend enjoyed her meal as well. The Atmosphere is very nice and cozy. The bathroom could use some paint touch ups and minor maintenance but overall is tidy. I would take anyone in my family to eat here because the options are all very good. I enjoyed Great, kind, and attentive service During both visits. If there is a delay in the food preparation, they will kindly let you know. I found the service time more than appropriate. Thank you for dinner!
Waiting fo more than 30 minutes for a NOT so authentic and SALTY lamb and beef kebabs.. the server said that their food are made from scratch and fresh daily but the kebabs are Sooooo DRY and SALTY like it’s been made centuries ago!
They could make better salads and add fruit to their desserts . A nice garden salad and Cesar salad would really appeal and along with adding more color to their buffet spread, an assortment of cut fruit would be very tasty. I also with their curry beef didn't have bones. I absolutely love their naan bread.
Excellent. The server was really friendly and the food was tasty. The Naan was especially good. There was a few times that one of the food trays were empty, but they made up a new batch and brought out replacements fairly quickly, which also means that food wasn't old and stale. Get a mango Lassi if you're into them, they're good here.
Best hospitality, friendly staff, yummy food. Their chicken korma is amazing. Overall experience was awesome????????
The buffet is quite expensive, but it's not their only option. Take at look at the menu and you get can a naanini (a panini made with naan bread) and samosas for around $15. If you order food to take home, you can skip on getting rice to save some money (just make it at home), and you can order it extra spicy, as their buffet ranges from mild-medium. Their online menu is full of pictures in case you can't remember the names of that thing you tried once at the buffet.
Delicious food ,, finger licking,, service was great friendly staff and most important they follow COVID guidelines.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Only minor detail was that my wife ordered a shrimp something something. She got 3 little pieces of shrimp. The rest of the food was terrific. We'll be back.
I've lived in BC now for two and a half years and i still haven't found a better indian restaraunt than this place. i miss this food. they do it right you have to try it.
Food is amazing, and staff and owners always make you feel welcome and as if you are at home (but with better food). This is my favorite restaurant to bring people from out of town to as the atmosphere makes everyone feel welcome!
Thank-you for the amazing food and service. The food is so fresh and flavorful, we enjoyed our experience. Can't wait to go back again. Also my baby loved the rice pudding. ????
Nice restaurant, huge and has a bar/lounge along with buffet on the other side. Nice ambiance and great customer service. We tried the supper buffet, they serve Indo Chinese fusion along with Indian food such as chilli chicken, noodles as …
Food is soo good, and service is awesome! We always feel at home having supper here.
Great food and we even were invited to see how the naan was made. Excellent for groups. Great buffet style food. Many vegetarian options as well.
Had the buffet and the flavors were all good but the chicken in the dishes was pretty dry. The hostess was very pleasant.
Great buffet! Bring your appetite. Loved the extensive mocktail and non alcoholic options - take note pregnant ladies!
This restaurant is hands-down our absolute favourite place to eat -- and not just in PA, but anywhere. The food is amazing and the service is always great!
I ordered online lamb biriyani and other stuff, and it was super good. It was aromatic, and spicy. It was a perfect dish for a weekend. Thank you very much.
I think the quantity is way less than that of you paid for. I got samosas was so disappointed all we had is the oil no taste no stuffing and even so small. They should need to make them fresh and should have some stuffing.
Taste is good but quantity? We have to order twice the amount of what they bring. So basically extremely expensive.
Good service. The flavours and presentation of the food were great. I may have ordered the wrong drink though. Next time I won't get a cocktail.
There is a lot of integrity issues. I guess the woman working there should be a owner and we are ordering food there to go, my husband wanted a can of pop. One of the employee or their son is saying 1.99 $ each can which is true as it is posted 2 $ in their website or food booking website. That woman is barging in the middle and charged us 3$ each can and 6.55 $ we paid in total just for 2 can of Pepsi. Why this much of disloyalty towards your customers? Do they really think that we don't see your prices and Bills. Never ever in my life will step into that place or refer anyone there.
My all-time favourite Indian food spot in the province. A homey, family-friendly atmosphere, great and friendly service, and the best ethnic food in the city hands down. So grateful for this little hub of culture and sharing in our home city- need more places like this!
We ate here for the first time on Friday. We are from England and have eaten in many Indian restaurants. The Spice Trail is now one of my favourite places to eat in Saskatchewan. It has a great authentic feel, we loved the private booths with draped curtains . The food was great , we ordered our food medium spice and it was just that. Perfect ! We even brought some home .
The staff were amazing and very kind hearted, the food was delicious, and I loved their layout of their menu showing options for vegetarian. They are also very vegan and gluten free friendly. The whole experience was great!
Honestly one of the best restaurants in Prince Albert!! Their food is always so good, I always enjoy what I order! The staff are always kind and friendly. I would definitely recommend if you haven't been yet!
I was surprised to find an Indian restaurant in this neck of the woods. Buffet is good. Nice naan. Samosas were ok. Decent variety of food. Butter chicken, veggie curry, beef curry were all worth trying. Definitely worth going to if you like Indian subcontinental food.
Amazing service, incredible food! There isn't a dish that isn't perfectly executed. I am a multiple repeat customer!
I always order spice trail delivery. Some of the best food you can eat, perfectly balanced, yummy. Their fresh and chewy naan is top notch. Highly recommended.
Awesome food, especially the garlic naan. Wonderful service. I highly recommend!
The food is great and the staff is wonderful!
Absolutely loved it here. Delicious food, beautiful space, nice staff and atmosphere. The lamb curry was delicious , chicken malai tikka is a must try and the gulab jamun was amazing.
Authentic Indian food. Service is top notch. Highly recommended.
Excellent place to eat Indian food .always recommend
This is one of the best restaurants Prince Albert has ever had. The food is amazing and so is the service. They also have fabulous gluten free and vegetarian options. My new favorite dish is the Butter chicken poutine!
The staff is always so friendly and inviting, and the food is fresh and delicious. Definitely my favorite place to eat in Prince Albert! Love it!
Great food. I like spicy so I don't have the buffet. Order alacarte and you can get it cooked as spicy or as mild as you like. The food is first rate.
Great lunch buffet, however if you have the time (not much of a wait) I'd recommend ordering off the menu. Fantastic food, positive owners and staff, very welcoming environment.
Wonderful food, great people, great service. Plenty of meat and veggie options. Beautiful blends of spices in delicious sauces accompanied by clay oven naan.
I love their food and hospitality...they offer the best authentic East Indian food
Had the most amazing supper tonight!! We weren't sure what to order so went with their recommendations with our choice of meat. The owners and staff were very friendly and the meal was awesome. Would highly recommend this restaurant!!!
4 star this place is a must on your list when you come to Prince Albert saskatchewan. Try the tandoori chicken and the vegetable rice it is really good you can pair that with a glass of white wine it is amazing Stay tuned for more reviews. For my followers stay tuned for more honest opinions
This place is a vibe. The butter chicken and naan were so damn good! For someone like me who doesn’t love a lot of spice, but likes the Indian flavour, they made it perfect!
Great food, great service. Definately deserving of the title "best restaurant in prince albert", I eat here everytime im in P.A , the food is always hot , the staff are always attentive . the owners professional and friendly. Recommend this place to everyone i know !
Spice Trail is the best Indian restaurant I’ve been to in Canada. I’ve been to many and this is by far the most spectacular regarding the quality of food. When you order off the menu, you are guaranteed an amazing food experience. I come here consistently and have never been disappointed. A must try for sure!!
We were a group of 8 adults and 3 kids (4 families). We stopped at this restaurant for lunch. The hostess was not at all friendly. She treated us as if we came to her house uninvited. She did not seat us or asked if we want to order anything to drink. She took us to a small party hall kind of space and asked us to sit. Each family took a table and sat. The other reason why we took a table for each family is because she asked us to fill our plates and they will be closing the buffet shortly as their staff cannot stay past 2pm. We reached there at around 1:40pm. She could have very well said the buffet is closed and we would have gone to an other restaurant. Later she came in and asked why we are not sitting together when she left the room before we were seated. She said "Oh no, now I have to clean 4 tables". I am not sure why would she work in a restaurant when her job is to serve guests and clean after they leave. This is the worst customer service experience I ever had. The food was ok and no complaints about the food.
Absolutely fantastic! Excellent service. The food is consistently incredible! This is a must try if you like authentic East Indian cuisine!! Harry and Raina you continually make the experience of dining here great!
Terrible customer service ever I have received. I have been asked whether I worked in a restaurant when I enquired about how long the dishes take to be served; although I waited 35 minutes before I asked the question. Mistakes happen only once!!!!!!!!
The sauce was awesome. Lamb is usually very good but this time the lamb was over cooked, but other that that food is very good. The hostess is also very friendly and polite.
Incredible service. I order from there at least once every 2 weeks and every single order has been perfection. I especially recommend the Dal Makhani as a classic or Chicken Manchurian for something unique!
Great tasting food and very helpful in understanding the menu when ordering
Love the food, love the owners! Great staff! So much variety and so much flavour!
The food is great and the service was awesome. It's a nice place to enjoy your family and a place to get away. Its beautiful seraroundings.
Polite and attentive servers Warm cozy fancy decor But the tops is the food. It is soooooo good I would sit in a trash can and be talked down to be the server just to taste it. Top notch Indian flavour.
So happy to have an Indian buffet in Prince Albert!! Great food, great staff! Have never ordered a la carte but I imagine it could only be better.
This is my absolute favourite restaurant in Prince Albert. I always make sure to talk ny guests and friends here for meals, doesn't matter what time of day it's always good! I love the owners and the food is spectacular.
Its as shame that Salt and pepper is trying to defame your restaurant just because they got a bad review. Your restaurant is fantastic and I will return.
Spice Trail is criminally underrated. My boyfriend and I come here almost on a weekly basis and have only had amazing experiences. Staff is very friendly and they always remember our order. They also won't throw you out if you throw your phone on the middle of the dining room floor or laugh loud enough that family's stare at you. 10/10 perfect place for a date night out.
Amazing food. Humble and attentive service from a truly family run business. The menu has vegetarian options (one would expect that from a truly authentic place) it has milder options for the less adventurous of the adventurous eaters. I miss the buffet style eating of the PRE-COVID19 world. However the staff are always willing to explain flavors and textures for the most inquisitive diners. A truly wonderful place to have a meal!
Very friendly owners and staff. We are always greeted with a big welcome. Ability to customize orders for special requests. Delicious food!! So much variety!
We stopped at this restaurant for dinner. The host was not at all friendly. He treated us as if we came to her house uninvited. He stopped us front of the entrance door for 15 minutes. Nobody came to take a order more 15 minutes and then we left without ordering any food. They were just running around and didn’t care. They need to learn hospitality etiquettes first. This was the worst customer service experience I ever had.
Beyond fantastic! Delicious food, friendly staff. Can't wait to visit again. Thank you Spice Trail
Some of the best food i've ever had. Only downside is with so many amazing items on the menu its hard to decide what to order
Great people great food! I've enjoyed every dish I've tried. The private booths are very fun, too!
I have eaten here many times and the owners and staff are always friendly and knowledgable. The food is amazing. We live out of town and try to eat here every time we come to P.A.
Excellent food and the owners/staff are very helpful in what to order! We had a sampler plate and it came on a cool airplane-like tray (only bigger!) Naan bread is amazing.
Was staying in PA and stopped in for dinner. The food was delicious, server was great . So I went again and now wrote a review.
One of the best places highly recommended to eat in Prince Albert. You can have buffet in the evenings as far as I'm aware and menu items at anytime of the day. They have a very nice and calm environment with lovely staff and excellent service.
Had a fantastic meal at the spice trail for an unbelievable price... 3 of us were stuffed to the gills for $100 with drinks. The staff was super friendly and in the receiving area they had Indian jewelry, silks and other trinkets for sale. One of the people we ate with was not a spice person so all of our dishes were ordered mild and kids could easily eat it. We had the garlic Naan but there were soooo many interesting choices of naan both sweet and savory. Would highly recommend visiting The Spice Trail and if I'm ever back in PA I will visit again for sure.
Ordered delivery. The food is SUCCULENT and authentic, portions are big. Service was fast and great. I am visiting PA for work from another province and I’m sad I won’t get to eat here again!!
What a horrible place and customer service, I ordered food via phone. drove 15 minutes to pick up my delivery only to realise when i got home that i had order was totally different w=than what i got. i called back and they said to come and get what you actually want. went there and first thing the lady asked, have you brought the other food back? and would not let me leave before i return the food they gave me that i didnt even order..... Here is to the worse customer service ever. Period.
