I don't usually give 1 star reviews for anything... but this is the exception. Ordered from here many times (always against my will) and it's always low quality, gross food that has a record of making us sick afterwards. The sweet and sour ribs barely had any meat on them, it was just bones and cartilage.

I only go here a few times a year and after I've eaten I always remember why I don't come back for long periods of time. I've been to a lot of buffets but this place is severely lacking variety. Nearly all of the food are carbs be it the rice or noodles. I know there are a lot of other types of asian food they could serve but it's just not there. More vegetables would be a nice option besides that meat/shimp+veg or the salad at the end of the line. Improvements could definitely be made on the variety of food and maybe change out the desserts every now and then. +++They don't have fountain pop/refills but I'm sure if they did they'd do way better. I've been to this place at least 10 times over the past 4 or 5 years and I also feel like the price is pretty steep ($17.00) for the quality and variety of food your getting + a tip on top of that for refilling my water once or twice, but hey that's just my opinion.

The PA location was awful. Waitresses had personality and waiting abilities of cardboard, the food was stale and the desserts were just various forms of icing sugar re-labeled. Save your 22 dollars (adult) plate and go eat roadkill for the same experience.

Heard of them for the first time yesterday and decided to give them a trial, what a regretted experience that turned out to be. Ordered supper to be delivered; the address got mixed up, as well as the order. The food was also very lackluster. Called to complain and spoke with the/a manager, and the customer service was sub par. Suffice it to say, that's one trial too many for me. Definitely not the better Asian Buffet on that stretch of road or in the city.

I was pretty upset when the third time I had ordered, I asked which roll was the vegetarian option (I have a terrible memory) and they had told me the whole time, both of them contained pork. I was promised the first two times that the egg roll was vegetarian. Once I talked to the manger, all she did was say sorry, and offer to make special vegetarian rolls. However it's a little late for that. I'd like for you to make sure your staff knows what is in your food, or make a vegetarian specific option.

The restaurant, itself, is very inviting, and the staff is courteous. However, to be an Asian restaurant, there are not many vegetarian or vegan options available. Also, the food that was I was able to eat was not acceptable to my tastebuds...perhaps because I did notice in many cases, that Canadian restaurants use less seasonings and prepare foods a bit differently that in the US. Be sure not to ask for sweet tea in Canada, period. Staff will have no idea what you are referring to if you do request it with your meal.

I went with my grandpa and Uncle while visiting PA. The food was exactly what you would expect - typical 'Chinese food'. Nothing wrong with it. The bathrooms, on the other hand, were absolutely disgusting. People judge your food and your bathrooms together!

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. I called the first time to put my order in. Terrible phone service. Didn't listen, completely rude and didn't get my complete address. Once they figured out a problem, I had a man call me and inform me of the problem, fine all is well. I am polite and get it figured out. Two seconds later I have an old lady on the phone yelling at me and sighing asking what she is supposed to do. COMPLETELY RUDE. This place is a joke. For all of you who complain about hair in your food; you have to realize that this is a buffet. There are how many other people who are walking around the food and such else so don’t give the restaurant a bad review because of something that is not their fault. The food at starhouse is really great quality and delicious. The staff is so friendly. Also if you’re complaining about hair or the variety on the buffet; there is also the option of ordering off of the menu which I personally think has great selection and includes Canadian food and delicious deserts as well!

Cold food, overpriced, rude owners. I had the worst experience in a food establishment, ordered for delivery and received old/cold food. When I connected them to make them aware I was asked if I had microwave. Then I was told I needed to bring the food back, which I did. Once I brought the food back I was offered no resolution, no refund or nothing. I left them with their cold bag of food and will not go back. Take this as a warning.
