We stopped in there last night to get two(2) lasagnas for the nice ferry ride over to the Comox Valley and then drive down to Victoria when we stopped just outside Nanaimo to eat our food ....sometimes an order gets mixed up with other orders on a busy afternoon they happen to mix ours up on our way to the ferry with another person's order called this morning restaurant made awesome recommendation we come back on have dinner on them for free owner was more than accommodating and willing to mail me a money order for my money spent there however I informed him we would be more than happily making another trip back to the Sunshine Coast especially Powell River to visit their finest a basement and take advantage of meal for two on them the owner Telis was a very happy pleasing gentleman and I trust he will make good on his promise... Happy to try them again Robert the traveling Gourmet taster

Nice staff, views of the water is really nice. The bad review is for the pizza which was terrible. The freshly made pizza bread didn't seem so fresh more preheated frozen pizza. The interior is a bit strange tacky Greek decor with an Italian menu. Identity crisis?

definitely the best bang for your buck when it comes to pizza. This place you can get 4 large pizzas for just over $80 which works out to about twenty bucks of Pie, which no matter how extravagant it is whether it's a $25 one or a $22 one, they still work out to about $20ish each.. plus the cabbage rolls are bomb! ????

I enjoyed ordering a steak and lobster dinner delivery from them. I never new you could do that until then, and it was delicious! I recommend it if you have a bit of extra money lying around in your bank account one day that's burning a hole in your pocket, lol.

Extremely over priced for sub-par food. I ordered light, so didnt expect much, but pretty disappointed for what I got. For $17 and a 25 min wait I recieved a head of ice berg lettuce (garden salad) and a 4in pita w/ a cup of tzatziki (small appetizer). Worth $5 max.

First time in town, We were asked if we wanted seating inside or out, my wife asked to be seated outside. We were showen to a table and that was the last that any of the staff showed any interest in us. The waitress checked the talbe next to ours as to there satisfation then returned with a tray of wine.They seated another couple then proceeded to serve them took there order then after taking there order moved them to another seat as they were not happy with that one.The waitress danced around us with her nose well into the sky. After some time waiting we left and went to the Coastal Cookery where we were treated very well and the food was excellent.

We received very friendly service and very tasty food ,I would have liked bigger portion sizes ....but I always do ! They were very accommodating when we asked to sub out some foods we don't eat and the food came in a timely fashion and was very fresh and enjoyable ,the waitress was curtious and well deserving of a tip ! The price was average as was the serving size , I would recommend this place for a nice dinner .

I have been eating here for longer than I care to mention, and now that I live elsewhere I look forward to dining at Snickers each time I come back to Powell River. Their pizza is as reliably good as any, but they really shine in the Greek cuisine. Try the Pepper Steak ala Al ... I have yet to find one better. These folk also do Kalamari perfectly too ... never rubbery, and dry enough to provide a nice crunch. You might want to ask for more dill in the Tsaziki though. What is the best about this restaraunt though, is the staff. More often than not it is the owner seating you and he is a very polite and respectful gentleman. The waitresses though ... they will be attentive with out intruding if that is what you want, but I recommend opening up some banter as they have a great sense of humour here. We bring my wife's parents here for their birthdays every year, they love it that much. Rarely is there a reservation required, but around dinner time on a Friday or Saturday you might want to call ahead.

My partner and our friend just had snickers, and was super disappointed. 2 orders of fish and chips and a burger, all tasted like it was cardboard, no flavor. And was a 55 minute wait,as well was a $94 bill. Was not worth it. It had been years since I had snickers, and i will not be ordering from there again any time soon.. super disappointed. :(

Their dinners come with normal options for sides, but you can also choose baked lasagna or Spaghetti for the same price. Tony chose the lasagna. He could only finish half of his meal. I had a vegan Greek salad and the hummus. Incredibly yummie! And I had leftovers too. Definitely a great find in a small town!

After reading the reviews I was excited to try this restaurant and decided to order the lasagna which arrived swiftly and was piping hot and tasty, it was odd though cash only or credit card no debit at the door, odd considering it’s 2020. Anyway the lasagna was good so I decided to try the pizza a couple of days later. I ordered a ham pepperoni mushrooms, an old staple hard to screw up right? Nope! Great tasting pizza requires great ingredients not “no frills” basic grocery cheese and meats, and it was expensive as all heck! $29 tax paid for a cold mediocre pie, thin toppings and meh flavour, frankly the Panago pizza I had with the same ingredients was half the price and twice as tasty and I don’t normally bother with chain pizza places, I like to support locally owned places but come on, it’s like you are not even trying here, very sad. I saw several other dishes coming out of the kitchen that looked and smelled fantastic so maybe that’s where this place shines but don’t bother with the pizza, sorry... Restaurant interior although tired looking is nice, spacious with a great patio and spectacular view of the ocean.

We ordered the Calamari to start. Then we had the Veal cutlets & chicken parmesan with the spaghetti and lasagna. It was honestly delicious!!! Best meal I've had out in a long time! All the food came out hot & cooked to perfection!! Prices were reasonable as well. The view was breath taking! My boyfriend & I watched a beautiful sunset looking over the ocean & mountains while we enjoyed our meal. Great service. & Very Friendly staff! The Prices were really reasonable as well. We will be back to Snickers again very soon!!!

Our Family just recently moved to Powell River and decieded to try Snicker's Pizza 2 for 1. We ordered the Powell River Special and Pepperoni, tomato and pineapple pizzas. We also ordered 4 pieces of garlic toast(big pieces) and two canned pop. The pizzas were made to perfection with a thick crust and the best pizza we have ever tasted; Fresh toppings and excellent tasting cheese. Due to our Motel's dirty brown water, we needed fresh water with our meal. Even though Snickers did not have bottled water to sell, in stepped Snicker's staff to the rescue! Malcolm and Brent put fresh water in a clean gallon container, along with lots of ice and Brent delivered our awesome food, as well as the container of water, to the Motel we are staying at. Now that is customer service. Thank you to Brent for braving the rain to deliver our food and our fresh water. So much appreciated. We will definitely order from Snickers again. Thank you so much.

Honestly the worst restaurant I've ever visited. First, we arrived at 6 pm and ordered the Prime Rib dinner to find out 5 mins after that we had to choose something else as they don't have any left. So we decided on the blackened Cajun chicken with veg and rice. 20 mins later we were served "Cajun chicken " that was covered in half an inch of the worst seasonings ever. It instantly made you feel sick and left an awful taste in your mouth. The kicker was the $94 bill for food we couldn't eat. $94 dollars for the worst experience ever! Do not waste your time here. Honestly better money spent at McDonalds

Had dinner at Snickers this evening. It was our 1st time there and I lucked in to Prime Rib Wednesday! Well I could not passTHAT up. And I am glad I did not pass on it. It was Hugh. 12 oz, cooked perfectly. Not too fatty, So tasty . My Wife had a Greek fettuccine. It was also very very good and generous portion. We Sat on a patio that over looked the ocean. Another beautiful sunset. The roof was covered with live grape vine loaded with grapes. That was kinda cool too. Staff were friendly and excellent. Thanks Snickers!

Food was fantastic, the wait staff was pleasant and the patio was endearing. I've never eaten under a trellis of grape vines before, but between that and the ocean view dinner tasted just that much better. Wouldn't hurt to make reservations as it seems it fills up quickly.

Best food ive had in a while. This is what I wanted. I needed a little taste of home and a heaping spoonful of morale. I got more than I bargained for. Great no b.s good food. Fast.....and the best part, I thought I was going to be forking over 150$ for what I ordered.....bill showed up to motel at 83 bucks. . Way to gO!b i tipped 20% . I woulda . tipped more had I known I was gonna hit the food jackpot. Id buy stock in those prawns with the scallops....unreal. great fish n chips.....PERFECT calamari ....and some rice and veg and salads I didn't even know I had coming. Mommas gonna be proud I ate a salad. I'll be back. Everythings coming up Tommy.

Outstanding pizza! My wife and I are visiting Powell River, where I did not expect much in the way of pizza. Was I ever wrong. We had a "Pesto Special" and a "Sneaky Pete's", with a request for a thinnish crust. Superb crust and fresh, tasty toppings. Highly recommended.

Welcome to grandma’s house, the only thing better than the view is the FOOD! We got the prawns and scallop with an additional large Greek salad. We split it between two people. This place screams authenticity. Delicious and authentic. Highly recommended! Excellent daiquiri too.

1 hour wait for meal, many empty tables on patio. Had veal with marsala - sauce was good, but veal patties were very greasy mashed meat breaded, with no taste, could have been any meat. The lasagne 'side' was dry pasta with hardly any sauce - no meat. Definitely not worth $25 - hubby had moussaka, came in oval dish 1" high, also not worh the money. Waitress did not ask if we needed anything else, even though I had indicated I would have a special coffee later.

We were very impressed with our appies, scallops wrapped with bacon and small sized Kalamari!! Our meal ( prime rib special) looked amazing however it was tough!! Our waitress spoke with the kitchen &passed on their thoughts," it's the cut" not impressed my 2nd time having this in 4 yrs & told the same thing. Our server did right and charged us for 1 and offered baklava which we declined. They did let us take home the meat for my Sadie (fur baby). My thoughts are get a better cut of meat(or new provider) & charge a couple $$ more.
