High quality product, though sushi isn't really for everyone my friend and I quite enjoy it. I'm not sure if you can dine inside the restaurant yet but the decor is wonderful regardless.

This place is an easy 5 stars. Authentic sushi - prices seem standard for sushi and i think you're getting really good value. The quality here is top notch.

Ordered at 5 when they opened, went to pick up at 6 when they said it would be ready. Had to wait an extra 15 minutes. It only takes 5 minutes to get back to my house and when we got home the food was ice cold. I called to complain, got their voicemail, left my complaint, name and phone number expecting an apology and got no response. Terrible, they have good food (when it's warm) but I won't be going back for a very long time!

Omg this sushi restaurant is by far the best. I just love them so much. They make the best food. Especially the yam tempura. And it's the only place I have ever liked the miso soup. I highly recommend ????oh ps...they have fast service, friendly and great prices.

Chefs and staffs, also owner are so kind. And good taste! I love sushi but also I love chicken katsu and Ebimayo. All side dishes are awesome. I tried many sushi restaurants in other cities, this one is the best. Because I trust them their cook and food. The owners pickiness of ingredients.

Minato's is the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to and trust me I love sushi and have been to many sushi places. Minato's is a little expensive but absolutely worth it! This in my favourite restaurant in Powell River.

Sushi is well prepared and the fish is aged correctly. Service was fast and friendly and the interior decor with what you would expect for a Japanese restaurant. Prices are a little on the high end, but it's reflected in the quality

We love the food here, it is excellent. Song & Shun (hope spelt right?) are great hosts. Whether take out or dine in , they always give top quality sushi. We highly recommend you fit this in when dining out in Powell River!

Minato is excellent. They have amazing quality and service. I always get the Chicken Teriyaki and my wife gets the Sushi. Sometimes I like a little more rice so I get an extra rice. Nothing bad to say at all about this business.

Didn't even get to eat, horrible service double booked us and made us wait at least 15 minutes before letting us know what was going on. Previous experience says product is mediocre for the price. Go elsewhere if at all possible.

Well the Prawn Sunomo was not prawns it was shrimp and tiny two itty bitty pieces. I took pictures. The Prawn tempura was not fresh. We are on the coast in prawn season and these were tasteless dry specimens. The tuna roll was like rice was suddenly worth the price of gold. California Roll was good. All in all an average amount of money for food that was surprisingly of poor quality.

Don’t do it. SO overpriced. Payed $90 for lunch for two with one drink each and the food was bad. Bad sushi. Bad rice. Mediocre service.

Poor experience Had lipstick on my glass, and the table was dirty. Waited over 20 minutes for 3 simple rolls. Food wasn't impressive either. I guess there aren't many choices for sushi here, but I would pass as there are many other fantastic restaurants in the area.

I have ordered takeout a few times from here and it was gross. Got the food home and it was barely lukewarm, like it had been sitting too long and inadequately heated - even though I got there earlier than they said to pick it up. However, sushi ok. Recommendation: if you really want to eat here don't get takeout, maybe just go in for sushi.
