After reading all the positive reviews i decided to give it a try. On a work trip so didn't want to try the other more expensive restaurants there. It was packed on a Thursday winter night. That tells you how good it is. Super friendly service. The 4Korners is very good. The rice was done just right. It's Indian comfort food.

Came in to eat after a long journey from Vancouver. The owner was ready to seat us as we walked through the door. We were pleasantly joined by a table of three locals and spent the evening chatting with these frequent diners and the owners great sense of humour. Even with one table short of a full house we were hosted at a great level of service. The food was also delightful ;) thanks for an excellent experience!

My wife and I had the Four Corners, it was excellent. Reasonably priced, maybe rent is a lot less than in Vancouver where we live! Heartily recommend this place. Nice little patio in the back, perfect for a summer evening. Personable, excellent service. Powell River, who knew?

The best restaurant in Powell River without a doubt. The moment I left the restaurant I felt as if I left a whole new world. The food reminded me of home and absolutely blew me away. This is curry in its finest. You won't get this kind of quality and service in Vancouver. If you ever go up to Powell River, do yourself a favor and come here for dinner.

This is about the most authentic and tasty Indian meal we've had! The owner is above and beyond in service! He is down to earth and passionate about what he does. The decor shows the history of this establishment. Great job! Even though they had a full house the evening we were there and it was close to closing, he was welcoming and explained each dish to us. We will definitely be back! Real food, real people.

Excellent butter chicken. A bit different and better than others I have tried. Note that the menus posted online (menupix, zomato and others) are several years old and rather inaccurate as to pricing as well as what is included. For example, entrees no longer include a salad or curry shooter. When I stated I did not eat cucumber, the opener took off the included Raita, but did not substitute anything else for it or asked me if I wanted a substitution. If he had I would have given 5 stars as the chicken was outstanding. Go to Facebook for the latest menu.

Tripped over this little Indian gem. Authentic home style food, but don't mistake home as simple. The food is cooked with subtle flavors. Just the right amount of heat so as to taste all the ingredients. If you're in the area, go and give your tastebuds some fun.

The food is fabulous, the ambiance of the restaurant is great with all the artwork from local artists, the owners are friendly, nice and accommodating to our requests, the service is great and they have the best patio on Marine Avenue. I travel a lot for work and each place I go to, I try most (if not all) local Indian restaurants in the area. I can honestly say that Little Hut Curry is one of the best ones!! I have gotten food from them five times in the last few weeks. The meat, sauce, appetizers, and rice all taste fresh every time. The owners are lovely as well and you can really tell they put a lot of care to their cuisine!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Little Hut Curry. The owner was so attentive and friendly, and the food was AMAZING!! The four corners entree was delicious and the spicy curry prawns were a standout with 7 large prawns in the dish. The small touches made it a meal to remember - a fresh salad to start, curry shooters, and cool raita and mint chutney to keep the tastebuds firing. A glimpse into the household kitchen proves why this place is a winner - beautifully clean and running efficiently. This is a must visit in Powell River!!!!

Delicious homemade indian cooking in the middle of Powell River! Everything was great. We had the butter chicken, the lamb curry with the sides of Naan and Pakoras, and the food was really tasty. My partner and I had dinner here after coming off the Sunshine Coast Trail and were blown away - it was some of the most delicious Indian food we've ever had. We had the vegetarian thali with naan, vegetable pakoras to start, and shared the carrot halva and fusion for dessert (yes, we were hungry :). It was all sublime, and the service was great. I'd go out of my way to eat here again.

Just an exceptional experience, in every way. Reservation message was immediately returned, we were greeted with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, and then......the food started coming. Pakoras, lamb curry and the "4 corners" were ordered. We were offered a very sincere and unpretentious explanation of all the dishes and options, and when we started eating we realized we were in for a treat. All the dishes were outstanding. The small-batch and slow cooking process really show in the flavours. I'll stop talking now, because there's just too much good to say, and because you should be heading here for dinner, and not reading reviews.

What an unexpected treat in Powell River! Last night we had a fantastic dining experience at Little Hut Curry. With just a small lit up menu visible from the street the Little Hut Curry restaurant was a pleasant treat indeed. We were greeted at the door by the owner who welcomed us not to his restaurant but to his home. The husband and wife team work diligently to offer home cooked meals (including all of his house made sauces), inspired by his home town of Kashmir. It was nearly a full house so we were lucky to get a seat on one of their Saturday night set menu 4 course meal specials. “We use the winter to try out new things and expand our menu”, he said “we go through all the seasons.” We started off with a locally brewed beer and an appetizer sampler that included his custom “curry shots” and home made pakoras followed by a rainbow coloured salad, a beautifully presented four part main course and finally delicious saffron tea and home made dessert. The owner, our host for the evening, rushed around diligently taking care of all of the tables while offering small anecdotes to his personal photographs of India that streamed on the screen above the fireplace. He was polite, courteous and attentive and of course credit cannot be overlooked to his lovely wife who successfully fed a house full of guests from their four burner kitchen. She was much quieter than her outgoing husband but certainly appreciated our greetings and appreciation when offered. This spot cannot be missed if you are in Powell River. The Saturday night specials in particular offer a warm welcoming spot with personalization and home cooked food made with love. What more could you ask for!

I gave this 5 stars because of the attention and care the owners give their guests and food. There is a fixed menu and 1 sitting on Saturdays. Make a reservation as they are always sold out. The atmosphere is pleasing and stimulates conversation.

Fantastic Indian dishes at an awesome price. They are takeout only due to Covid but more than make up for it in flavour and dish size. They were super accommodating as my friend is Vegan and even managed to combo up a Keto meal for me. Must go.
