The chop suey is EXCELLENT, the veggies were fresh and perfectly steamed, and very, very tasty. Beef was tender and delicious. Chow mein, spring rolls and sweet n' sour pork were also amazing, very flavorful and wonderful texture. Would definitely recommend and will return again!

Best Chinese food in Powell River

I find this to be the best Chinese food in Powell River. I've never has a bad or soso meal or experience. Their take out due to covid is always a hit and full of flavour. I recommend going here try the wonton soup and fresh prawns.

Stirfry is ok. Clean and friendly, but some canned veggies and carrots has been prepared a long time. Can taste a bit past prime.

If I could give this restaurant a zero or negative rating review I would. Our order was not ready at the time they said it would be and you could tell that it was put together after they asked me to come back in 10 minutes. It looked and tasted like it was made last week and just reheated. The chicken dishes were very tough and bland tasting. Their special sauce was a cheap version of gravy. The noodles were stale. It was truly terrible, literally the worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten and I’ve eaten a lot in my time. I should have listened to my mother in-law and picked up Chinese at the Quality Foods in the same centre, at least it would have been fresh(er). The people of Powell River deserve better.

I came here for a family reunion, went for the buffet and was met with chow mein that tasted like old pretzels fried in dirty oil, over salted and rubbery calamari, over salted fried rice, and the pork in the wonton dumplings was bright red!!! Not even the coffee could redeem the experience!!! P.S. I puked in the bathroom

Got takeout. Ordered the Combo for 2. Was ready in 15 minutes. Super friendly staff. All of the food came out hot, as in it was still hot when we got home to eat it. Spring rolls were the perfect texture, tasted good. Chow mein, chop suey, and sweet & sour pork, all really good. Ingredients tasted fresh, great quality. We will definitely eat here again.

The 1st & 2nd of 3 visits in the past 6 weeks were excellent. At the 3rd visit the food was not hot and did not seem fresh. Friends have also indicated this inconsistency. Otherwise 5 stars.

It’s refreshing when someone can go to a new place and explore and while doing that find a place that provides great food, great service, and a feeling that you are welcome anytime. The service was stellar, I was served by a very attractive woman who was gracious, helpful and entertaining who also turned out to be the owner. The food was prepared quickly and the portions were huge! Incredible value for the money! Great taste and authentic although they do cater to western customers they still prepare very authentic Chinese dishes which is incredibly good! I’m so happy to discover this place! Worth a visit anytime!

Our Family ordered chicken chow mein with chop suey and sweet and sour boneless spareribs. The meal was amazing and affordable! The restaurant gives you large pieces of chicken with your chowmein, not greasy and the vegetables were large and sauteed to perfection. The sweet and sour pork was the best we have ever tasted. Plenty of left overs for the next day; awesome service and did not have to wait too long for our meal to arrive. Thank you to the Family who runs this restaurant for your awesome service and to your staff and the cooks for your hard work. Thank you

We stayed in Powell River for two nights and ended up having dinner from Dragon House both nights. It was delicious and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend it.

I always have amazing service and tasty food. The servings are large and decently priced for their sizes. Restaurant is clean and has a friendly atmosphere. My favourite item on the menu has to be the deep fried wonton.

Just visiting the area for the day .. excellent buffet with fresh quality food. Only put out what would feed the restaurant but to their credit it kept the food fresh and hot. Very clean and meticulous. Absolutely recommend this place.

Buffet was ok. They make very minimal so by the time 2 people dish up they are out of some stuff. So probably not a good idea to go during peak hours. Buffet was $17.95 pp. Employees were friendly and the place was clean
