Have been going here since they opened up last year. The staff is super friendly and polite, always helping you with anything you need. Service is super fast too. The pizza is to die for. All the dough is made fresh daily with all local ingredients in the pizza. They make them in a wood fired oven and they taste phenomenal, only takes them a few minutes to make a pizza! They also have a great selection of beers and drinks on tap. If you love a thin crust homemade pizza, I would highly recommend this place!

I gave the the lock a 5/5 about 20 minutes into my visit. My first visit, just after rush hour and the place was clean. Jeremy invited us in with a smile and despite 3 tables clearing the very busy server made time to help us first. We recieved our drinks super fast and the pizza was the best ive had in niagara. Fantastic pizza cooked the way it should be. We were out of town and my wife and I were looking for place to eat. After reading the reviews and being in the mood for pizza, this place does not disappoint. Service was excellent and the place clean. Washrooms too. The pizza is neapolitan style; it has those leopard spots underneath and the dough is crunchy at first but chewy too. The antipasto for two was simple but a nice way to have before a pizza. Recommended.

Went during canal days and even though they were packed, pizzas came out quickly and we're AMAZING. they can make any of their pizzas gluten free and the GF crust is just as good as regular thin crust! Love it!

If you are looking for authentic napoli pizza, this is the place. Great pizza is about balance. Just the right amount of dough, sauce, cheese and meat/toppings. Too much of anything ruins the balance. If your looking for double anything try pizza hut, if your looking for a truly exquisite bite of real pizza come here. Not your typical pizza and definately not delissio.

Wow. Highly recommended, great pizza, great price. We stopped here on vacation recently with our two kids and ate outside. We found the restaurant by chance, but what a find! Service was quick, pricing was very fair, and the pizzas were excellent. The crust was amazing and beautifully cooked. The wood fired oven helped to give a perfect char and flavour to the pizza. Equally, the sauce had a nice balance of flavours, and toppings were without fault. I really can’t overstate just how good the pizza was. Unfussy, well made, no gimmicks, real ingredients, perfect crust, fast, not overpriced. This is what pizza should be. Why can’t all pizza be like this? I’ve eaten a lot of pizzas in my life, and made a lot myself too. This is probably the best pizza I’ve eaten in Canada, and approaching the best I’ve eaten in the world. That honor likely belongs to Pizzaria Il Fiume, a restaurant in a small town in Scotland. Trust me on this.

*Update* I am now a regular, and haven't been disappointed a single time. They are always trying out new menu items, so make sure you check the chalk boards in addition to the laminated menus and try out the new stuff! They also have local craft beers and a cider that pairs really well with the char on the crust. Josh and Jeremy are experts of their craft. First time there, had some of the margherita and some of the buffalo. Both pizzas were perfectly cooked with a nicely chewy, lightly charred crust (just what you want in wood fired pizza). Good amount of cheese, and a well seasoned sauce on the margherita, and great ratios on the buffalo so you could taste everything they put on. Definitely going back! Especially for 10-15 bucks per 12 inch pizza. I think the thing that really put it over the edge was being able to watch buddy make my food! It's nice when restaurants arent hiding what they're doing.

Loved the thin crust pizza and the smell of the wood fired oven. My favourite is the Margherita pizza, but sometimes build my own pie with fresh mozzarella, slices of tomatoes and pesto sauce. I am so happy I don't have to Toronto or Italy to have a pretty good approximation of a real Italian pizza. Yummy! Forgot to mention they make an awesome home made gelato, and they serve craft beer from a local brewery.

First time ordering from the Lock and will certainly be back. Pizza is priced well, if your an avid pizza lover like myself with an appetite you can devour a whole pizza yourself given the size which isn’t a bad thing! Pizza was done to perfection, bursting with flavour. There’s pizza and then there’s wood fire pizza and the lock does it right. Definitely need to try one of the dessert pizza’s they offer as they also look fantastic.

I ordered the Calzone. Very disappointing to say the least. The dough was under cooked on the inside. As you can see from the picture, it looks as thou they poured some water inside of it as well. What a disgusting mess. There is suppose to be marinara sauce inside but I thing they substituted it for water. They have know idea what they are doing there. Spend your money somewhere else!

Port Colborne is a little storybook town and you can watch big boats go through the locks and what better way to do that than with this pizza!! We got the breakfast and hot honey Calabrese pizzas... I had the spicy diabolo pizza and it was perfect! It is a freshly made, thin pizza. You can watch the cook actually make it, it is awesome! They are friendly and accommodating. There is outdoor seating as they do not offer indoor dining at this time due to covid. Highly recommend!

A MUST TRY! Hands down the best pizza I've ever had from Port Colborne. These people decided to open up a business in Port and they opened it up right. Great looking setup, real nice employees and excellent food. The pizzas and paninis are made fresh right in front of you. No microwaves in sight, just a wood fired oven. The pizzas and paninis are so fresh and well made that they are just bursting with flavor. I would say Lock Wood Fired Pizza is one of the most professional businesses in Port Colborne. Overall its a great addition to what Port Colborne has to offer for restaurants that are locally owned. Its been awhile since I went to a restaurant in Port Colborne and came out feeling impressed.

Love this awesome little place! So many fun options for your pizza and they toss the dough right where you can watch them. The red sauce is amaaazing and if you get the meatball appetizer the sauce they come in is perfect for dipping the pizza crust. YUM!! Desserts are great too, and they come up with new stuff all the time, like chocolate chip cookies baked in the pizza oven then made into a gelato sandwich. Definitely a new favorite.

The Lock is home to THE BEST pizza in Niagara region. Not only do they have amazing pizza, but also amazing staff and amazing prices. I had both the margarita and pepperoni pizzas and it was evident that these pizzas were made with love and the upmost attention. The ingredients used were all of the highest quality and I especially loved the sauce! One thing to be aware of though is that the margarita served at The Lock does not have fior di latte cheese on top, which causes it to taste a little different from your classic Neapolitan margarita, but delicious nonetheless. While you probably aren’t going here for a salad, the Caesar salad here is also amazing and I’d highly recommend it as well. If you are ever in Port Colborne, you can’t leave until you have tried the pizza at The Lock.

Had a caprese salad with crisp cherry tomatoes, fresh basil and fantastic, fresh cheese. Followed up by a pepperoni wood fired pizza which the gf and I added mushrooms and bacon to. Honestly one of the best, if not the best pizza we've ever had. We took some apple cinnamon gelato and cannoli to go, delicious. Will be returning soon.

First night in Port Colborne. We went to Lock Wood based on TripAdvisor's suggestion. Ordered the Margherita pizza, antipasto, and smores pizza (for dessert :)). The pizza dough was fabulous; highly recommend the Margherita pizza. We weren't a fan of the antipasto. The dessert was a nice end to the meal.

Amazing pizza! New fav spot.

We were passing through Port Colborne and came across this gem of a restaurant. Cozy atmosphere, cold beer and most importantly, incredibly tasty pizza! The server, (who I think was one of the owners) recommended the spicy diavolo pizza and it did not disappoint! As a Toronto resident with an abundance of excellent pizza, I'm quite picky about spicy pizza but the Lock served up what is now, quite easily my favourite pie! Highly recommend this family joint for a nice family dinner or when just passing by for a slice. The Lock...we will certainly be back!

The location was busy when we first got there so we needed to wait for a table as the location is rather small for dine in. Once seated we had to wait a very long time to get served and considering they had a lot of people on staff and not that many tables to wait on I found it time excessive. Placed the drink order and they got the order wrong. Once we did receive our food (again after a long wait) It was OK. Not super good or bad just kinda middle of the road.

This place was really nice. The pizza was fresh and really well made. Had the perfect proportion of cheese to crust to sauce. The sauce was super fresh and had tiny chunks of tomatoes so you know it's real tomato sauce not some reconstituted tomato paste. Service was good and prices were reasonable. Be sure to try their chili oil which has isn't too spicy but enough to be noticeable. Also place was clean and they used paper straws instead of plastic for our drinks. The only disappointment was dessert. We ordered the gelato sandwich which was vanilla (you can also get chocolate) ice cream in between two chocolate chip cookies. The cookies were delicious, but the ice cream didn't see fresh and was very icey. Also they served it in a wax paper bag instead of a plate which I thought was weird. Not something i would order again. But I would definately come back for the pizza

I went here for the dollar slices on Thursday's. The pizza is good with a nice chewy thin crust. Three slices was enough for lunch. I will go back with the wife sometime to eat in. The service was very good too.

An excellent pizza place for the small town of Port Colborne. Very reasonably priced and insanely good pizza that is prepared fresh in a wood fired oven. Every Thursday they have $1.00 slices, however they usually aren't fresh and they heat them up in the oven. They also have several local craft beers from Brimstone Brewery which are the best in Niagara. Definitely worth several return visits!

Spent and evening with my daughter and granddaughter here tonight. Pizza was wonderful. I mentioned to our waitress that I should have ordered my pizza a little more crispy and the owner immediately discounted my pizza. Wonderful customer service. I will be returning soon to try something new. Great job guys????

Great pizza here. Port Colborne is lucky in that there's several places to get decent pizza but until you've had woodfired pizza you haven't experienced great pizza.. Another part that makes this the best pizza place in Port is that they serve beer. Not just beer for the masses but very good beer from local breweries. The staff is helpful and friendly why the prices are reasonable especially for the quality. Also the service is quick, and because of the cooking temperature the made to ordrr pizza is done very quickly.

It's so good. Made me eat too much. The funny thing is we didn't even order pizza. We had a calzone which was so good and I couldn't hold from ordering more. Then we had a sandwich which was not a regular sandwich as you would think. It's baked from raw dough. The dough is the same as for pizza but rested longer than the pizza dough. The dessert is also very special. We had a cinnamon apple pizza. Again amazing and not something you would find anywhere.
