Ordered 2 Apollo burgers for take out. Got home with no toppings which was disapointing because we had no toppings at our house. Sent a message via instagram. In the moment I was frustrated and wanted to be recognized for the inconvience. After a bit of a wait I got a response appologizing for the issue & then they went even more out of their way to make it right! They also have the best burger in town.

We took our son who attends Trent out for lunch today when we visited him. Since we love a good burger we decided on Apollo Grill. We liked the 50’s diner vibe and we’re given prompt and friendly service. We each ordered a Royal Burger plus two fries, onion rings, pop and a chocolate shake. The burgers were a nice size, the meat had good flavour, the bun was fresh and the condiments were great (if a bit messy). The fries were good and a hearty serving but we liked the onion rings more. We plan to visit again and try more of their burgers.

Well.... It's was not bad. I was hoping for more, but was let down by the taste of the Burger. Let start by saying the place looked great. I loved the old Dinner feel and look of the place. The staff was very nice and look like they cared about the place. I noticed them keeping an eye on people leaving and doing a great job of cleaning up. Now to the Burger..... Well..... It was bland. I was very happy with the fact it was fresh made and you could tell, but the Burger had no real flavor to it. I expected some good seasoning on it, but was left disappointed. The toppings helped, but could not save it. For a place that only does burgers and fries I expect it to be better then a fast food place, but I think this place is on par with a 5 guys. Fries where good and so was the poutine..... But the Burger should be the star and it was not.

Great burgers and fries!!! We go there as a family and the food is always fresh made and of good quality. 50's diner style and cleanliness, the staff are friendly and helpful. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for and I for one would rather pay a buck more for a burger and enjoy it!

Food came fast, but the fries were burnt. Burgers tasted like the dirty grill Cook had a large beard but wasn't wearing a beard net, hair net or face mask and didn't use gloves when prepping food. The server put a mask on to clear one of the tables. Then took it off when she went back to the kitchen. The table was sticky Drinks were flat and tasted almost bitter. Who wants a bitter, flat, Coca-Cola or Canada dry? I could have used that $35 in a much better way.

Peterborough try to learn from the largest Canadian economy...Toronto! I hope CoVID Destroys your business! Extremely rude and obnoxious!! Zero customer service. We walked in stood there for 10mins. Woman ignored us at counter pretended to be on phone. Eventually we left and happily gave our business to St. Louis Grill and Bar.

Understaffed. The food is great, but they need more people at the counter. It is frustrating to see food sit under a lamp for 20 minutes because the one person working the counter is too busy to hand it out.

Apollo grill is a must stop if you're a local or just passing through. After 7 years not living in Peterborough anymore I miss the food. Whenever I'm in town it's my first stop. From the burgers and fries to the shakes it's amazing. Freshly made to order, worth the 5 minute wait for the food. Highly recommend

Very good burgers. I don't agree with that they are pricey. It is obvious they use very good quality meat. I would not be surprised if they work with a local farm rather than a generic supplier. On the other hand I find the sides a bit pricey and stale. Regardless good burger experience especially for those who like patties with minimal/no seasoning.

I visited the peterborough west end Apollo Grill and ordered 2 of their burgers. I had one and my mom had one. The burgers were fresh and delicious. I highly recommend Apollo Grill for a great burger and beer.

WOW WOW WOW!!!!!!! Just had my first ever burger here along with onion rings and a shake.......over the top AMAZING!!! Now, this is how a burger should be made. I have traveled across the world and have eaten burgers from everywhere......this is #1 to me. The restaurant is clean, service is promptly and the staff are awesome. The only negative is that I have to drive over an hour from my home to get here. I knew this was going to become an addiction!!! If you haven't stopped by Apollo Grill yet.......you haven't lived. Peterborough is very lucky to have a place like Apollo Grill!!! I definitely will be back!!!!

Food was really good, price was what I would expect. My only issue is, I'm not a picky person but I don't like ice in my drinks and don't like onions on my burgers. I stated both when ordering but ice was in my drink, which she did replace, and onions were on my burger. Because it took so long to get our food, I didn't want to wait for them to correct it, but my burger tasted like onions and wasn't too happy at all. If I had more time to wait for them to correct I would have spoken up, but unfortunately was pressed for time. I will possibly visit again as the food was good, but hopefully they get the order right.

Long time Peterborough resident, and can’t tell you why I haven’t stopped in… but I did, finally… and Wow. An almost ‘speechless type’ of wow. I am a homemade burger kinda guy (I mean I make my own), and I thought I had it nailed… I stand corrected, well… challenged I’ll say. Much like another reviewer here, we hit up a range of favourites; poutine, sweet potato fries (w/ curry mayo, yum), onion rings, and quartet of Apollo's burgers, a few doubles, and singles for the kids. Right away, first bite, you know… the beef flavour sung triumphantly, even amidst the delightful layers of fresh onion, tomato, cheese, lettuce and a thick deli pickle slice, and… ‘that sauce’… nice. Not over-done, balanced and complimenting the splendour of it all. After the shock wore off, the realization followed… I am kicking myself! Why did I wait so long? I must have said it a million times, ‘I gotta… one day… must remember to… ’, well no more, it’s done. Our first visit is now in the bag (literally as we did takeout) and lo’ the flavour angels did sing. I can hear what you are saying, ‘It’s just a burger, relax’…. I feel for you… you need to get back to livin’, get back that ‘food love’ feeling like you once had long ago. Anyway… our family met over this fabulous feast, and we are all agreed; Apollo is being drawn into the fold, and if one burger place is in, another is out. C’mon, you know it, that’s the way it is, I won’t mention names. All I know is we are finally moving towards tasty burger horizons, for now and for ever. Won’t you follow burger lover? C’mon… they who deliberate are lost.

The girl who works there is an absolute rocket. The food was good but the service was better. I appreciate her hard work and attentive demeanor. She brought my food out so quick that I wasnt ready for it. The royal burger made me feel like a virgin again. Thank god for heavenly service from a beautiful holy maiden.

Burger was delicious deserves a five star there however there poutine was lacking in both gravy and cheese. Fries were very crispy! Staff assumed we knew what to do and did not tell us correctly what was on the chicken sandwich. Staff was not overly friendly but not rude either. Came from out of town, will not make this a destination restaurant.

Food was made fresh in a timely manner and customer service was on point!
