Tried Ferg's Cook House tonight for dinner. Food was great. Portions were huge! The diet starts tomorrow ;) I snapped a photo of the menu. (Located @ the old Wildfire BBQ place by St John's Elementary)

We stopped by Fergs Cookhouse Friday night on the way to the cottage. We just wanted a snack and to check it out, had a great experience huge menu lots to choose from, tried pop curds, very tasty deep fried curds with a crispy coating. Open until 8:00.

I’d drove by this place probably a good 50 times, and everytime I said I’d eventually stop there. God am I glad I did. The food is amazing, the staff have a decent handle on things, the portions are super generous, and the owner is a really cool guy. He even let us try a new hot sauce they’re making... it was great. I’ve been there a few times now, once with my family and another time with just my brother, and both times the food and service was great, with less wait time than I would have expected relative to the amount of customers there. 10/10 would (and will) recommend Ferg’s to friends and family, or even just anyone looking for somewhere new to try.
