Quick and tasty, I live in Ed. Alberta, I lived across Canada, when I come back to Penticton. I plan for the Beach, sun, lakes and stopping at White Spot for a Burger, Amazing, (the flavors,sauce and combination) better than almost anywhere in Canada).Not so hungry? then pop in for my 2nd fav, the chicken strips, perfect breading and the awesome honey mustard sauce, I have tried making my own, bought numerous, but nothing is a as good as theirs. I cannot stress how good the honey mustard is!! I asked if they sell it in stores? (Like swiss chalet sauce and gravy. The only burger that rivals the white spot burger is the bigger better at Earl's.

When I think of White Spot I think of a perfect family restaurant, food for all appetites and affordable pricing. I regularly visit for lunch and dinner, but just recently I had the pleasure of going for brunch, it is just as good as the rest of the time! During the busier times the service can be slow, but the servers make up for that by making sure your glass is always full and keeping a smile on their face. The food quality is better than most places, but can match their prices at most points. But if you're looking for a good meal with a lot of flavour I would highly recommend White Spot.

First time dining at this location. We were sat very quickly at around 6 pm. The service was excellent, we asked for napkins because of our messy kids and got a stack in less than a minute. Food was the same as always, I get a double double with fries and gravy. Great for families to go out and eat.

Went with some family on a Friday night. The place was pretty busy and there were just as many young families as older couples. Food was decent. I had a southern chicken bowl, my family ordered the club sandwich and the rib special. There were leftovers from both the sandwich and chicken bowl.

Their bacon cheese burger with poutine & fish and chips and 1 coffee wasn't worth the almost $50.00 dollars it cost, our waitress seem to have forgotten us, another waitress that wasn't even our server was much more attentive, my mom asked for a 2nd cup of coffee and it took 20 minutes to get it, our 1st time there with 17 family members was all good, but not with just us two, I don't recommend it to anyone, we were very disappointed this 2nd time...

I was seated on the patio and saw no one for ten minutes. I had to go ask if they had a server out there. It was then the manager Amy came to see why I was upset. Sounds like the hostess did not let server know I was there...Amy offered a free blueberry pie for my inconvenience. I did finally get my meal and it was good. One more frustration came when I was not given my ice cream that came with the meal. Plus my server Britnie charged me for the pie!!! Once again I had to go ask Amy to please correct an error made by the server. Very unsure about this experience and weather I recommend this place. It's too bad when today is Pirate pack day for children's charity.

We were going to order from Another place our kinda rear but so glad we couldn't. They actually turned us down saying they were taking orders for an hour. Well we wanted burgers and I went in to order here. The manager immediately came and took my order. I went to grab a few bevies at the store and it was already done when I got back. The only bad White Spot experience I've ever had was here. Our party of 6 arrived to a huge line waiting at the door but the restaurant was only a third full. The staff were very nice but totally inattentive. Order taking took forever. My partner's meal didn't come until we asked about it 15 mins after everyone else's arrived. Then his dessert didn't make it. Food for everyone was bland and dried out. Fish tacos were chewy. Servers were stacking dishes on tables and the bar nearby and they never got cleared away. I'm not sure if they were short staffed but an apology or explanation would have helped. Instead staff were chatting to patrons at the bar.

Another good White Spot location. Breakfast menu has shrunk a bit over the years: would have liked to have seen omelettes and French toast on the menu. The good old Sunny Start breakfast sandwich was delicious, as always, and the waffle was crisp and fruit fresh. They nicely accommodated the kids' requests for mac and cheese at 9:00AM. Staff wore masks and tables were spaced.

Food was amazing and great! Atmosphere is pretty nice. Some spots are a bit darker but that is ok. The only "downside" is that they are always busy so you may not have your server come back to refill drinks ect. But overall a great experience. Would eat here again.

We took our company out for breakfast and needed a place that was open early. We found the prices way too high for breakfast which doesn't compare to other restaurants. Although you get lots to eat and it was hot, we would think twice about going to any White Spot for breakfast again. Maybe for lunch or supper since it's been years since we've had their triple "O" sauce hamburger.

Over priced, for the quality of their food. Staff isn't that friendly (they may be over worked). We had to wait for over an hour and a half for our food and couldn't even eat because we had to go. We arrived around dinner rush so it was understandably busy. It would have been nice to know how many tables were ahead of us or approx how long the wait was but they didnt tell us. The food was ok. I cant rave about it but the prices are a bit ridiculous. $30 ribs, $24 fish and chips seems steep for it not to be stellar. Idk if our waitress didnt care or was just overwhelmed but we didnt recieve utensils with our food??? Weirdest part was she delivered the food, made a comment about how we didnt have utensils (even though the table across from us still ordering had some) and then proceeded to not bring us any forks or anything??? Annoying that we had to basically ask another server so we could eat our over priced food. Anyways 2 of three of our meals arrive and they have no idea who got what, which is ok I guess. But by the time the 3rd meal had arrived I was already finished my meal while my friend was just starting. Overall not worth the wait, not worth the price, not worthy of the title legendary to say the least.

The White Spot in Penticton is another example of a good White Spot. The menu is a little boring, but predictable on a good way. I opted for the beef do instead of the burger - I find their burgers to be a tad dry. The beef do was flavorful and good portion. The price doess feel a bit high for the quality of the food, so we only go once a year or so.

Hey thanks White Spot usually good service and food. I ordered extra chipotle mayo for my fries and one extra tartar sauce paid $50 for 2 orders of fish and chips. One was sub sweet potato fries and like 3 chipotle mayo. No I got like 3 tartar. No chipotle. Nice. $50 to have it screwed up. Fantastic.

I was very disappointed. I ordered fish and chips and it came in a large soup bowl, a bad presentation. Fish and chips are usually served on a platter with an orderly presentation so you can see what you are getting. My bowl came with everything dumped in. The lemon wedge was buried under the chips, the Cole slaw was scattered around the bowl and the fish was mostly batter. As a result of this experience I will never return to White Spot

The place is great for a good eat. Great customer service as well. Interesting enough, I found that the spot size beer there after 8pm is only $5! Give the place a try. I always enjoy myself there when I do ever go, I even recently celebrated my birthday there with my family and I believe it was right on pirate day which is a hoot when you go all out dressed up with your friends as well. White Spot is pretty consistently nice for a good dinner with the family. They were pretty busy when we went, but still did a great job. It's hard to decide on sides sometimes here; I learned here a while back that zucchini does taste good if you deep fry it!

Nothing went well on this visit. Rude and unhappy wait staff, whole meals going missing, extreme wait for replacement meal, constantly rechecking our orders with us, and zero communication between staff mambers. It was really chaotic. They told us one of the meals wasnt available as they serverd the rest of our party our food. Just chaos. They did end up comping that meal and a couple of desserts. But damn. Wouldn't go back on a dare.

Love whitespot unfornately this location is disgusting in regards to the staff and service. Made a complaint to a manager and heard the manager trash talking us to an employee. I guess she didnt realize I had got up to go to the washroom. Im sorry me having to ask for a coffee refill 3 times was such an inconvience. One time I confronted a server for ignoring us and she acted as if I had just spit in her face and was extremely rude. I havent been to this location in months if I want whitespot I go to West Kelowna location.

General manager Pam, has no idea how to properly run a restaurant. My experience there was horrible, the general manager was heard yelling at her kitchen staff and calling them not so nice names. When I received the wrong meal and asked to speak with her I was given nothing but attitude and was not even offered an apology. After speaking with a few of the servers I was appalled to discover the outright mistreatment of most of the staff and a blatant disregard for the emploment standards act. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone.

4 of us went to this restaurant while we were visiting from 3 hours away - to start off both the hostess were chewing gum, which is absolutely disgusting. When we sat down we got the drink of the day, which is Belinis - they didn't taste like peach at all, and the Appleton estate is disgusting. The waitress told us that she made them fresh.... Yesterday, and that nobody else has had that problem and she has been serving them all night. We asked her to take them off the bill when she came back, and she told us she just tasted them and they taste fine, drinking on the job... Classy! Absolutely poor service and disgusting drinks!

Over priced and underwhelming. The salmon on the salmon burger was dry, no seasoning on the fries, my soup had a strange flavor to it. I didnt drink my soup and my waitress took it away without asking if something was wrong with it, which seemed odd to me. The serving size seemed like they skimped. I also ordered a red rose tea, which was four dollars. It's the most generic cheap black tea out there. Many restaurants have a separate price for red rose since it's so cheap. The service was okay. They were not rude but seemed distant and uninterested. It was not a pleasant guest experience but had a "get in, get out" feel to it. We also noticed one waitress leaving dirty dishes on the clean bar where no one had eaten and had forgotten about it, which during covid could seen as concerning. I used to really like white spot which is why we went when passing through penticton but my last experience has really turned me off of it. Sorry to say, it was a huge disappointment.

I got served a raw burger thru skip the dishes and they wouldn’t allow me to exchange the burger. Along the lines of I’m not their client, technically skip the dishes was the client. Could have just saved face and exchanged the burger but decided not to. “ but if you order again I’ll inform the chef to make sure it’s cooked” that’s all well and good but I no longer have faith in your service. It’s a shame cause white spot was my favourite food to eat.

Classic dining at it's best! This popular restaurant on Main is a favourite of singles, families, couples, and even alone in a casual dining experience. Known for that secret special Triple O sauce, which was enjoyed at our table this evening, with the Legendary Burger and a Spot Salad-- always consistently delicious, we also treated our pallets with their Classic Fish and Chips-- Halibut! Fries and Coleslaw included. Large portions so bring your hungry with you! Only 4 stars because the Fries were short little pieces rather than nice finger length. I definitely would recommend eating here! EDIT: Last recent visit. Must say, had a bad experience and it has been the last time I'll eat here at this establishment. I ordered 2 pc fish and chips (comes with coleslaw). I had eaten one piece of fish. Started on my Fries and noticed a long black hair under my fries, and upon digging through, the hair was also under the coleslaw! That was it for me. I called the server over, who then got her manager, and offered to refund my $15 meal by $7. I had just began my meal and obviously I couldn't finish it. My friends were almost finished their meals, so to even consider a replacement meal was out of the question. I still had to pay $8 for eating the first piece of fish on my plate. I left the restaurant hungry and had to stop at a drive-thru to get more food. What should have happened at White Spot? They shouldn't have charged me for my meal at all! I'm reducing my review stars due to this visit. Not nice White Spot. I gave your restaurant a lot of business! And a last comment: After reading so many customer complaints, there's no effort made by management to make a wrong a right, no followup, like you get from other merchants in the city. If you don't care about your customers and your bad reputation, why would we, the customers want to ever go back?

Just ordered a teriyaki bowl for $16.99 and got a dried out chicken breast with crispy old rice, no sauce and like 6 vegetables total. Called and spoke to a manager (apparently) who offered me a two dollar off coupon and said I'd have to talk to skip the dishes about my order, though I didn't order through them even. Told her that and I said I didn't want two dollars off but a refund or credit, she said she can't do a credit without leaving a note for the next day (what?) Or that I'd have to drive back for a refund. No offer to remake it properly even, which I wouldn't have taken anyway. Terrible food and customer service. Won't be going there or ordering takeout again as this isn't the first time we've gotten subpar food for them.

Every single time I have eaten here I think “maybe this time it will be different” and every time I am let down. Lesson learned I suppose. The food is mediocre at best but the service is what gets me the most. The servers need a lesson or two on customer service. Always rude and neglectful. Our food was cold and had to be sent back. But of course...our waitress was no where to be found. We had to ask the bartender to find our waitress for us and even then she didn’t show up until another server had taken our food for us. When she asked how our food was we told her a plate had been sent back. Her response? “Oh ya I heard about that” and walked away. Not even an “I’m sorry”. Not to mention we waited an hour for our food and it wasn’t even busy. Thankfully a different waitress said she would comp the food that was sent back. Too bad our own waitress couldn’t given a damn. We even had to ask for cutlery, when the server brought them she piled them on one end of the table and said “here you go, there’s 6” instead of handing them out politely. Will not be wasting any more time or Money at this pathetic excuse for a restaurant.

I just ate the nastiest two pieces of fish from white spot. I ordered it through skip the dishes. The pieces looked huge so I thought they changed their fish. It was mostly batter and very little fish. The batter wasn't fully cooked on the inside which made it disgusting. All I could taste was uncooked batter and it was mushy. NOT WORTH 20 DOLLARS !!!!!!!

Meals are usually good, but a bit more expensive. Service is usually very good as well. The server we had last night wasn't the greatest. Very short, didn't seem to eager to be there. All our drinks were full of ice and ¼ drink. Asked for some ketchup and she took it away without even asking before I was halfway through my fries, gave to another table. Have you ever gone to a hamburger restaurant and paid $3.35 for a coffee? Good service, high prices for average products and small servings. Initially not asked table or booth. With high prices, no quality control, some lettuce in expensive salad brown, be careful this is not good for customer health. To afford the meals here you would have to share meals with your partner, then go to a fast food outlet to get higher quality and less expensive food.

The service was excellent, but we didn’t have a great experience with the food. My boyfriend and I both got their beef dip, one with fries and one with onion rings, and both had issues. There was a potato lump in my boyfriends aus ju, my onion rings were barely cooked, and his fries were completely dry. The sandwiches were fantastic, as well as the service, but with it not being super busy in the restaurant, we expected the food to be at a better quality.

We ordered a spot pack for 4, fish and chips , got to my moms retirement lodge to eat with her. There was no ceasar salad dressing , or tartar sauce for the fish. I called the restaurant and the gal told me " yes we noticed that after you left, it was sitting here, you can come and get it if you want" .They had my phone number and when noticed could have called , but didn't.My sister said tell them they can deliver it! , they didnt offer tho.Cold fries and fish after driving there and back were not big on my ????list so we ate as is. Also ordered this in April , got to the beach to eat and no vinegar after asking and reminding at time of order, my wife has to have vinegar with her fries or she does not enjoy at all. So a big " Make sure you check everything" as it seems i have bad luck there....or it happens frequently!

While the sandwich itself is probably the most accurate to the term club sandwich, the sandwich Club would be disappointed in the absence of frilly toothpicks and second cut to make the triangle slices. Great taste, tried to squish it down to bite into it but that classic third middle slice of bread in the center makes the sandwich a sturdy one. Keep some napkins on hand and enjoy the club,

Overall the experience was very good. The food was excellent. The staff and servers were to notch. This is just my personal opinion but it was a little noisier than I thought it would be. I wish restaurants, not his White Spot, would get back to slightly less open concepts and give us a bit of peace and quite.

Oct 31/21 My 83 yr old Mom suggested we go here for lunch...hadnt been there in years and our outings are rare due to disabilities. She ordered the Spaghetti Bolognaise, I ordered the fish & chips. The batter was cakey & uncooked inside towards the fish ...so I showed the waitress, who took it back to the kitchen. The guy sitting across from us said...yeah, mine was undercooked too! I asked why he didnt send his back...he said he was hungry...however, couldnt eat it all . 2nd Fish & Chip order came to me and the waitress said...cut it before I leave the table.....I did and she said yep...its not fully cooked...and took it back! AT this point, Im getting full on fries......My Mom looks down into her bowl and there is water under the pasta! It gets taken back too!!! The guy across from us with the same issue asked for his bill & we told the waitress his fish was uncooked as well!! Sighhhhhh...at this point its almost funny...like...trick or treat?? ( Not a treat!) My 3rd order is 1/3 smaller fish portions ( lack of layers of cakey batter), but crispy and cooked through. Couldnt eat it other than a bite...and put in a to-go container...My Mom did the same. My fish was written off the bill as was the guy across from us. But bottom line here....if so many complain about it...why is it still being made the same way. And at that cost!! Our waitress was so nice & apologetic....we gave her a tip anyways!! It wasnt her fault! Ill be very hard pressed to go back there again. Coffee/pop alone was almost 4 bucks as well!

Food was the same as other White Spots and service is good at this location. This particular restaurant gets three stars from me because I’ve been there three times over the past six months and the problem in the ladies bathroom still hasn’t been fixed: the handicap stall doesn’t lock. Due to the covid rules, there are only two stalls open but this non-locking door makes it unusable resulting in the bathroom only having one toilet. I know the sign says “one person or family at a time” but it would sure be nice to have the choice about which toilet to use. Yes, there is the family handicap accessible bathroom in the hall; but you can’t count the stall that doesn’t lock as a usable toilet. Please fix it!

I personally like the club house sandwich, my wife had fish and chips which were good and our daughter really enjoyed the seafood fettuccine. Service was good.
