Must've been a busy day for the staff despite there not being that many people. Service was terrible, didn't have anyone tend to us until 20minutes passed. Didnt get water until 35minutes. This is a tough one to rate and could have easily been 4-5 star review similar to others. The "Penticton" rolls are great and the other set of rolls we had was pretty decent too and that price was reasonable. Service is good and quick too, nothing to complain about, though it wasn't very busy. My main gripe was with the Donburi dish. I've had it in Wagamama in UK which is a somewhat decent Japanese restaurant, but at the end of the day it's a nationwide chain so I would think smaller unique restaurants should easily beat them. Well there was no duck option for me to choose here and as I'm not too keen on beef I went with the chicken option. I thought that at least I'll get to enjoy the flavour of the other ingredients since duck can be a bit overpowering. Unfortunately the dish was just missing something, some distinct flavour and on top of that about fifth of the chicken bits had cartilage on them which I personally really hate. I'd still recommend the place to anyone looking for Japanese cuisine and might visit again for the rolls, but I won't go out of my way to come here over other restaurants.

Went in here with high expectations from trying other sushi places in town and got expensive sub-par food that didn't sit well with me the next day. all of the chairs at my table were wobbly either to the uneven floor or the chairs themselves. It was loud and the Teryaki Chicken dish tasted suspiciously like Burger Kings chicken breading and all. Will not be eating here again.

Horrible experience with the waitress. We were hoping to order food, her attitude was super poor. Stating that it would be a 40 minute wait and as we order she was very impatient and kept on asking “anything else ?” And then took off her mask to state again that it would take very long to get our food. What the heck! We wouldn’t have minded waiting if she weren’t with that attitude. We just walked away. Would never come back for this kind of treatment.

The place has a beautiful setup. Only thing that I wasnt fond of was parking space and how many people came in, I wont give them 4 stars because it's not their fault the place is one of the best sushi restaurants

I love sushi as a healthy eating-out experience, and when clients' of mine are restaurant-fiends and trying to eat out less, sushi is one place I can send them to without having to worry TOO much about them being picky. Miso soup, gomae salad and any nigiri is fantastic and makes for a filling meal. Sushi Heaven is just like the name says: you've died and gone to sushi heaven. Love the restaurant feel, love the greeting you receive when you walk in and love the sushi. It's comparable in quality with the sushi I used to eat when I lived in Kitsilano, Vancouver. Thanks for being fantastic!

This place was packed, and for good reason! The wait staff were friendly and charming, making a solid effort to ensure everyone was well taken care of despite the somewhat high wait times due to overwhelming demand. For starters, we ordered pan fried Gyoza, calamari tempura, and assorted tempura. We also received a complimentary bowl of miso soup for everyone in our party as a way of compensating for the long wait time tonight. The miso soup was rich and flavourful, much better than what I'm accustomed to even in the GVRD. The gyoza were fine, tasty but nothing special. The tempura was great, though! Very crisp, thin tempura batter and obviously very fresh veggies and shrimp! For our mains, two of our party went for the roll combo which, while simple, were made very well. The rest of us shared the Large Platter, which did take some time, but the wait is to be expected with so large an order. That being said, it was well worth the wait! All the rolls were made tightly and cut with precision. The nigiri was thick, and all the fish was fresh. Something that caught my attention was how tasty the spicy sauce on the spicy Tuna rolls were! It was not just your run of the mill hot and bland sauce, but had a hint of sweetness that tastes rather nice with the tuna. All in all, we are extremely happy that we tried Sushi Heaven, and we will be sure to keep coming back for more!

We were told to prepay while sitting in the Patio. While there was another group of people in the same patio just opposite to us were served the food without the requirement of prepayment. I felt we were discriminated based on the race. First time happened in the past 5 years of my life in Canada. Will never ever go back there....

Excellent food and amazing staff! Ducked into here for lunch today - extremely cold out and I asked for sushi to go as I was working in the area. Waitress sat me down, took my order and brought me a cup of hot tea to warm up while I waited. Then when my order was ready - included a free cup of Miso soup to go! Excellent! and I love the considerate service. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Incredible good food, service, and portions! They had my order ready by the time I arrived, the entire staff welcomed me in and they even opened the door for me which was super nice of them! Huge portions, the picture is only the beef teriyaki from the lunchbox, I also got miso soup, and a few pieces of nigri as well! Ate about third of the food before I got full! The beef teriyaki was so good too! So much flavour and it didn’t taste oily like a lot of other places!

Stopped in for Sushi today. They were doing take out only but the waitress was quick to point out we could sit at the picnic table and eat our takeout. We ended up with full table service which was awesome. We had spicy tuna roll, green salad, agedashi tofu, deep fried asparagus roll and complimentary potato croquette to entice our next order. Ok. Let's be clear about one thing. I absolutely love the quality of sushi from Sushi Heaven. The times I've actually been able to enjoy it, it has been heavenly. However, they offer delivery. And without even exaggerating, the last five times we have tried to order for delivery they have been "booked up for deliveries". Now okay, I get it. Your sushi place is busy because you are so awesome at making sushi. However two of the times that I phoned.. it was early. I'm talking 4 p.m. I was told that they were booked up BUT if I called back at 6:30 I would get a spot for delivery. Of course when I called back at 6:20 (because I have completely lost faith in Sushi Heaven at this point) they were "completely totally booked up until close and we are so sorry about that." I actually went to pick up my Sushi once.. I arrived exactly when they told me to. I waited for 50 minutes on a bench outside whilst being given an apology every 10 minutes. At this point my wife asked me if I want to order Sushi Heavend and I legitimately have an emotional response. if you can only offer seven people delivery in a day with no fair way to regulate who gets deliveries whilst legitimately screwing people out of promises for delivery if they phone back at a " certain time " ... Just stop with this ridiculous business model. You are awesome at making sushi and you are incredibly friendly people. However it's not friendly anymore if you make promises you can't keep it's just frustrating. Please keep in mind that I say this with the utmost of respect for you and your trade and your incredible skill making sushi. I WOULD JUST LOVE TO ENJOY SOME SOMETIME SOON.

Asked Siri to find Bibimbap near me, and she took us to Sushi Heaven. Excellent Bibimbap, so hot and delicious. Hubby had chicken Yakisoba, which had the most incredible flavour. Reasonable prices. The chairs are a little cold to sit on as they are metal. Staff was so nice to everyone, including the other staff, thanking them every time they came in an out. Good vibes!

Went for take out. Sushi was ok. Sushi rice wasn't the best. Quality was so so. Bit over priced. My wife's spicy dynamite roll was saturated in sweet tai chili sauce. Wasn't impressed. Much better sushi places in Penticton. Won't being going back. Everyone is asking for their menu since they have no online presence. Figured I'd post it for anyone still wanting to go there.

Sushi was what you'd expect, lots of combo options and a variety specialty rolls. And not closed on Sunday or Monday! Look forward to going again, maybe for takeout as it's a small busy spot.

Standard Sushi and Asian Fusion fare, well prepared, and very well presented. Staff are eager, and the kitchen is lightning fast. Prices are slightly above those at other local venues. On the downside, the venue is small, so it can get crowded at peak times. Decor is "Recycled Hipster", which translates to "uncomfortable seating". The main drawback is the venue itself; the renovation of the location has created some of the worst acoustics imaginable. With even a moderate crowd, and a busy kitchen, conversation becomes impossible. Takeout can be the best option.

Best sushi in the Okanagan!! Absolutely blown away everytime, fantastic customer service. I've never in my life been given such a giant pile of Masago, usually places are so cheap with it. Every order we've made they throw in some extra goodies, with smiley faces on the containers. Always fresh and delicious, and I appreciate how careful they are taking covid precautions.

I'd have to say the best in Penticton. Prices can be a little steep on the fancier rolls, but I highly recommend the monkey brains appy (deep fried avocado with crab meat)! Absolutely loved this sushi restaurant! We ordered the Roll Tray which came with 50 rolls for $40 I believe. Some of the sushi was slightly sweet, but I still loved it! I could tell the ingredients were all very fresh. We also ordered some Yam Tempura which was excellent. Our server(s) were extremely nice and friendly as well. Would definitely recommend.

Beat restaurant in the okanagan. Since they opened have been ther over 60 times. Clean and fresh food, from their non salty well balanced miso, to the non burnt tasting large pieces of tempura, delicious massive hot dishes, to creative well put together rolls. Amazing. Honestly some of the best sushi we've ever had. It was packaged beautifully with sliced avocados, julienned beets and cucumbers, and quality wasabi and ginger. It was fun to mix and match the toppings on each bite and enjoy the individual flavors. Also the sushi rice was cooked perfectly. We chose this place at random, and were surprised to find a gem. I only wish we were local!

I had a terrible service. While looking at the outside menu, the waitress pressured me to take a menu to go and to order on the phone while waiting in my car. Didn't even considered the fact that I might wanna eat inside. All of that cause I was coming back from work and was still wearing my work clothes. There's no dress code at this place but still the waitress made me feel like if I was a dirty person and didn't had the right to eat at her establishment. She was really rude and was acting if I was a piece of trash. It is really offensive and I don't think they deserve to have customer spending money there. They should feel ashamed of the way they are judgmental. Definitely a terrible experience.

The Sashimi was well presented, Tasted good, the sushi roll was also good. They used Atlantic salmon though. Our teriyaki bowls were good, though one of the orders was mixed up and made wrong. Sorry may seem small to some people, but some sparkling water would be nice, a lot of people can not drink Pop or juice. NOT the end of the world, would be nice to get there.

Tried Sushi Heaven for the first time today! OMG! The best sushi I have Ever had! And the chicken yakisoba was to die for! So Full of tender chicken! I will never eat sushi anywhere else from now on. Staff are so polite and we even received a little complimentary surprise! Potato croquettes with a delicious sauce on it! 5*s for sure!

And the peices are a good size. The monkey brain has lots of flavour. And a good crunch texture. And their rolls are very delicious.

So good!! My favorite is the Las Vegas roll. Amazing. Extremely friendly staff, like 4 people all yell hello when you walk in the door, including the chefs. Can feel a bit crowded at lunch time (after 11:30), like you're sitting at a table with strangers because many of the tables are connected. Still love it, will just eat lunch early to beat the crowd.

Moved up from the vancouver area to the pentiction area, and have been looking for a good sushi place since then. This place was great. Food was awesome, and portions were really good for the price. It can be a little pricey if you eat a lot or have a big group, but that is the nature of sushi so it wasnt much of a surprise. My wife and I got an Avocado roll, tuna avocado roll, a few salmon nigiri, and some gomae just to try it on our way out of town (40 bucks with a small tip) and it was enough to fill us both up. It's as good as any of the mainland sushi you would be used too. Highly recommend.

BEST SUSHI IN PENTICTON/OKANAGAN/BC. The food is incredible every time, their service is above and beyond every single restaurant or business I have ever been to. They're attentive, ask for details to make sure your order is perfect, they brought me a hot tea when I showed up early for a pick up order, every single person is friendly and greets you, I can't say enough good things. We eat here at least once a week, would be more if our budget allowed for more takeout. Every roll is worth the price. I've eaten at every sushi place in Kelowna and Penticton, as well as countless around the province, and Sushi Heaven is hands down the best. They even throw in extras whenever we order.

During my summer visit to Penticton, I've been to this place a couple of times. Tried lunch bento, dynamite roll, spicy salmon roll and so on. Excellent food quality, and servers were very kind, and professionally treat all the customers under the current pandemic situation. Definitely will visit again.

Solo diner at peak time, Friday night. Greeted instantly at the door but about fifteen minutes before a server came by. Food was slow but I received a complimentary miso soup for the wait. Came for sushi, both the maki and nigiri were very heavy on the rice. Filling but not exactly satisfying. Presentation lacking. They do specialize in other items though so I can't speak for those. Service was friendly but scarce. New restaurant with only two servers and a full house so I would try again at a quieter time. Very approachable price point.

I ordered pickup and was informed that there would be a 40 minute wait. Not a problem. I arrive and the staff said to wait a few more minutes. They were very kind and apologetic. For the wait they gave me two free miso soups. The food was amazing and huge portions! My boyfriend and I couldn’t finish it all. Would totally recommend to anyone!
