We love coming here during our cottage stays; great beer, great food, the love music is super charming, and Kortnee isn't a bad server either ;)
Really cool atmosphere! Can't wait to come back during the summer and sit on their beautiful patio. Amazing beers, service and snacks! I'll be sure to come back when i'm in town visiting friends!!
This place is phenomenal. With a beer garden that has a kitchen/counter made out of an old shipping container. To hand lovingly barbecued pulled pork. A selection of great beers on tap and even local kombucha available. If you are anywhere close to this place do yourself a favour and go there for lunch. It will not disappoint.
Awesome food and fantastic beer. Servers are charming, friendly, efficient. My husband really enjoyed the porter and the reuben. I love the veg food options (vegan burger and trestle salad! Drool!) and sour beers. Kids gobbled up their chicken fingers. Super blown away by this place: patio, atmosphere, support of Indigenous artists, all top notch. Totally and completely worth the wait if they tell you there’s a line up. Three thumbs up.
I WISHED I could have eaten here, the food looks amazing!!! Came to the retail to pick up beer not available in LCBO They had live music on their outdoor tent today!!
Delicious interesting platters and plates. Fab beer flights. I had to leave out a star because there are only a few umbrellas on the patio. Twice we’ve had to leave before ordering. …
Very nice location and decor. Great service and beer. The chef could put more effort into the menu and food. Had the dirty bird, very bland, Frank's hot sauce is really not my idea of a seasoning on food. Also tried the turkey wings also bland and rubbery. I must say the fries were very tasty but again could have used seasoning. I would go back for the beer and ambiance.
Very slow service in the restaurant. Over 25 minutes for soup and arrived luke warm. I had to grab my own napkin. Server did not check up on me or ask how my meal was Three stars because the beer was great.
Amazing food, amazing view and the beer they make isn't half bad either. 10 out of 10 would drink again.
Great place! Fantastic view from the patio of the trestle and river. Service was great and attentive. I tried 4 different beers and they were all decent. The food was great. I had the Dirty Bird which was quite good. I also tasted the pulled pork which was properly smoked pork and really good. We came with kids and there were great options for food and drink for them too. Highly recommended!
Nice atmosphere. Great outdoor deck overlooking the river and railway bridge. We used this as a lunch stop on our way north.
Great beer, very delicious food and an amazing location. You get the whole brewpub experience along with the views of setuon river. They get busy very fast so I recommend always making a reservation.
I had dinner and brunch here this weekend. The burger I had for dinner was great, and my waitress was amazing however the lack of iced tea is a bit confusing. The bubbles outside are a great idea however they don't close. They need to add a latch or anything in order to keep it shut instead of having a pylon on the outside of an otwards swinging door. Brunch however just wasn't as good. The yurt smells quite bad like farm animals, and when my father asked for coffee we were informed they didn't have cream. Who serves breakfast without cream for coffee? Anyways, I'd recommend the place for dinners but not brunch. Also I wish I'd gotten the name of our waitress for dinner, she was truly amazing and deserves to be praised for her amazing service. Thank you again to her but I doubt we'll be returning.
Amazing beer and a fantastic setting. As a former brewery owner I have to say they've done everything right. Food is an easy 10 Beer is an easy 10 Staff is an easy 10 Just wish I took pictures this year!
Great beer, great food - just a shame we can't go inside
Disappointed but has potential. Was looking forward to visiting this place all summer and never got the chance. Finally was able to visit in October and was disappointed. They only had 7/10 beers available on tap. Simple lagers and IPAs. Only one sour and it was quite bland and lacked flavour. There was also no Stouts available which is strange given the season. The beer overall seemed to lack creativity and passion. The beer was also expensive with respect to the average ABV of 5%. Out of all the breweries I've been to this was the most expensive. A pint came to $10. Even breweries in Toronto are only $6-$7. Seriously an 18oz (500mL) pour of a 4.9% Sour came to $10.75!!! Speaking of expensive. The food is completely overpriced and deters people from eating there. They are selling sausages on a bun for $16!? I know they need to make money but if you have cheaper food items more people will be willing to drink, eat and stay longer. People who get hungry end up leaving to go elsewhere. Keep it simple. I will give it another go next season, they seem to have a nice patio out front to watch the sunset and hopefully they start to stock up and explore new types of beer.
We came here for brunch a few weeks ago. The gravalax was unreal! (and the beer is fantastic). Put this one on your post-COVID must do list!!!!
Very nice little spot in Parry Sound. Sat on the patio overlooking the river and enjoyed the Reuben sandwich. The fries are also very, very good. Highly recommend
They have good beer, staff are friendly though not always prompt at helping you and the bathrooms are rather dirty (been a few times now and it's the same each time). I have only picked up beer from here so I can't comment on the service or anything.
Definitely stop in if you’re in Parry Sound and you like beer. Chris, Dave and the team provide excellent hospitality in a unique space with a view of the trestle landmark. Beers and food are delicious and the view is lovely too. Can’t wait to go back on a non-rainy day and enjoy the patio. We also bought beer to take home and enjoy. Definitely a fun place to visit and we’ll keep coming back.
Food was delicious but over priced for portion. Service was quick, friendly, and efficient. Fantastic view from the patio deck. Not a beer drinker so I can't comment of the craft beer selection. Likely not inclined to return, will try another restaurant instead.
Just when you thought Parry Sound couldn't get any better, Trestle Brewing Company opens! Trestle not only has a perfect view and an excellent vibe for beer lovers, but they have an enticing menu, and (at the time of this writing), two unique, delicious and easy-drinking beers. They also have a few on-tap selections from other craft breweries from Ontario. The staff, and owners/brew-masters are friendly, personable and welcoming. If I lived in Parry Sound this would be a regular haunt of mine. But for now, I'll have to be content with it being a required stopping point on my regular trips trough the area.
I had so much fun dining here on the weekend. The patio view is UNREAL, it was so nice to enjoy a beer with a view like that. The food was also amazing and surpassed all of my expectations. I got the pulled pork sandwich, but watching everyone else's order come out left me wanting more lol. Will definitely be back, and would absolutely recommend !!
Really excellent service. My sister’s boyfriend is not into the craft beer scene and usually sticks to name brand beers within his comfort zone. Our server was able to make a recommendation and offered him a sample before pouring a full pint for him.
Great shareable boards and a lovely outdoor patio area. Local goods sold in the shop area. Lots of drink options! Something for everyone!
The jewel of Parry Sound this place is amazing the food, service, and beer is out of this world I'd had been waiting a very long time to go to Trestle Brewing Company as I'm 5 to 6 hr's away but when I went up north for it was a must stop everyone in the family loved it we stopped in on a Friday and all we did was talking about going back on Monday on are way home and we did :) Love Love Love this place well worth the stop we are already talking about a day trip to go back lol.
Covid review: had brunch there near Christmas and they were super accommodating with my dairy allergy. Had five big bubbles set up outside with seating for 8 adults. Menu was fantastic. Drinks are great, as usual
Food and servers were both excellent. Oh ya, and the beer..... Awesome
Service and food are excellent. Shout out Simon. Definitely recommend the Dirty Bird (Fried Chicken Sandwich) and the Philly Cheese Steak. Grab a glass of their Golden Ale and enjoy their beautiful patio.
Fantastic food in a fantastic brewery. Stopped off for lunch at Trestle and was very happy with food, ambiance and service. Great view of the bridge in their logo while eating. We had the pulled pork sandwich and chicken schnitzel sandwich. Excellent smoked flavour for the pulled pork without being overly sweet. Great fries as well. Drinks were excellent. Fantastic Root beer bursting with flavour without being too sweet. Fantastic ginger beer as well with beautiful flavour and no doubt that ginger is the star. Before we grabbed the bill we were offered their house pretzel free of charge. It was absolutely excellent with two full bodied flavoured sauces. One being a cheese sauce and the other being a sweet mustard with horse radish. Also a great little shop with tonnes of merch and of course beer. Would definitely come back to Trestle for food again the future.
One time great experience on patio. Don’t like having to use my phone to read menu. Too difficult with bright sun. Hummus plate was bad and brewer board not great. Crackers got wet from pickles being out in them. Meat and cheese were blah. Cauliflower wings outstanding. Beer great. Service good. View amazing. We’ll be back. Update. Second visit WiFi not working and town internet too slow to load menu so we left.
Great food and great views! Trails close by too!!
The beers were fantastic and the staff were even better especially with all the safety protocols in place! Would definitely recommend and cannot wait to visit again! Cheers!
Has become our go-to spot in Parry Sound. The atmosphere is great. Love what they did with the design and decor. Beer and food is top notch. So happy that a place like Trestle has opened up here. We need more venues like this!
One of the most amazing vegan burgers I’ve ever had - so good! The beer was great and the view was lovely.
Amazing food, great view and quick service! The dirty bird and the Cobb salad were amazing!
Great service, we purchased to take home from the retail side. Restaurant was super busy, had long lineup. Must be good food....will have to dine/takeout another day
We parked our trailer here for the night (through Harvest Hosts) and everyone was super friendly and helpful! We had dinner at the restaurant and it was all delish - the view from the riverside patio is pretty sweet too!
Great restaurant and brewery. Recommend making reservations as its a popular spot in town
Greatest new addition to Parry Sound! The beer was great and I had the best pretzel I’ve ever had. Our server Hannah was very helpful-all around excellent experience. Bonus points for a great few from the patio.
Love the atmosphere of this place. Friendly staff, clean, great views & delicious beer - what more could you ask for!
The staff and the owners are great, we went there two days in a row and always got a great reception. Very very very nice people. This brewery is pretty new at a great location with the view directly of the river and the rail bridge. The first time we tasted a flight of assorted beers and all of them were great (of course it goes with your taste, not everyone loves a porter or an IPA). The second time we had their cheese and charcuterie board (very rich ) which was so tasty that we would come back to Port Perry just for that (and their awesome beer of course). Really loved it.
I actually hate leaving such a low review, the food was incredible. But my girlfriend and I sat in a room full of people and watched our server do multiple rounds of the entire place while avoiding our table. It was actually comical how obvious it was - we couldn’t figure out why it was happening. It became super awkward just sitting there trying to get the servers attention so I had to go to the bar to get the bill and get the hell out of there.
We stumbled upon Trestle on our way from Toronto to Thunderbay. What a find! Great craft beer and amazing food. The olives are to die for! Loved it so much we stopped in again on the way back. Anticipating this spot will become a local favourite ????
One of the best breweries around in Ontario. HANNAH (if I spelled it wrong I'm sorry) is an amazing server. I tried most of their lagers and they all were spot on. I do recommend their SALT DOCK JUMP - light and refreshing. I'm not Vegan (I'm sorry) but Their Vegan burger is spectacular. Patio is equally astonishing. A Must visit.
If you don't live in town you would not know reservations are needed to get a seat. Ok no problem. We didn't have to wait very long. Then we were taken to the ONLY table they had specifically for people without reservations which had NO UMBRELLA for shade. So we left. The waitress apologized but it's not her fault, management should just buy an umbrella. There were also at least 6 tables with umbrellas that were not in use which we were not allowed to sit at... So disappointed as we were looking forward to the beer, food and view.
Trestle Brewing is one of my favorite spots to take guests in Parry Sound. The view is fantastic, the drinks and food are great, and it just has a wonderful laidback atmosphere. Be sure to check out the patio in the summer months.
An amazing experience as always. Great food, great drinks, and great staff! Excellent idea with the COVID friendly bubble tents!
Great service, food was tasty, and the beers are great! Beautiful view too!
Walked into this microbrewery and was greeted by Krista, in the bar location. I was checking out the IPA’s and we got into a nice discussion about hazy n hoppy. Then Krista gave us a sample of there 2 IPA’s Krista was not even our server and she relentlessly made us feel “special” I noticed she would clear away plates from other tables and pleasantly greet ppl as they walked into this fine establishment, our server was good however Krista was amazing! She new exactly what I would like for a craft, and suggested different pours....we settle on South Chanel hazy IPA and a nice vegetarian burger with a fantastic sea weed salad. It was lovely to see “all other tables” interact with Krista...Steve, promote Krista to your spokes person...you will do well!!!!
Lovely brewery. We got a flight when we visited and asked the waitress Karoline to surprise us, she brought out an amazing blend of various types of beer. The food was also delicious and was worth every penny. I had the caprese salad and it was by far the best caprese salad I've likely ever had. Will definitely return next time we vacation in parry sound.
Each of the meals we ate were tasty, well presented and hit the spot. The mild Dirty Bird sandwich was crispy chicken in a tangy sauce, while the trestle salad with Salmon was well sized, with the salad lightly chilled and crispy salmon atop.
Great views, excellent fast service, and a totally tasty pretzel! The sandwich was shareable, and of course the beer was cold, fresh, and with lots of variety!
Trestle brewery is the most lovely newest spot in Parry Sound. Their staff are friendly, prices are reasonable, beer is delicious and location is absolutely prime. Would recommend to anyone passing through parry sound.
Very nice views, on the river. Very friendly staff and amazing food. When we asked for mayonnaise, they charged us for it. And that's our mayo bottle.
Glad someone opened up the restaurant Parry Sound has been needing for years. Beer is great, the food was fantastic.
I had the best late summer sit down at this spot. Cacee and Simon were amazing and the food was lovely. If you can catch this spot for a sunset- Do it. Covid safe and perfect for a casual evening.
Great food and drinks! Beautiful setting. We enjoyed it very much
Great patio with a view over the water, good beverage selection, quick and friendly service while respecting Covid guidelines, and BEST reuben sandwich I've ever had (and I don't actually usually even like those.. my husband ordered it). Excellent fries as well.
Had a great meal, with great beer, great service on a great patio. Will definitely be back! Beautiful patio overlooking the river, with an awesome view of the trestle. Staff were awesome and were practicing COVID protocols. Great Work Trestle Brewing Company!
Bought some beer there today. Good selection and friendly staff. We visit frequently now for dinner and a beer. You have to try the "Dirty Bird" sandwich which is simply outstanding, especially when paired with Red Rock Porter, my new favourites. Amazing patio too, incredible views and perfect for sunny, breezy days.
Trestle was a great stop for a beer. The location looking over the water and, of course, the trestle bridge is possibly the most scenic place for a pint in Parry Sound. The service was attentive and very friendly. Today (their opening day) they had two beers of their own and a couple from other Ontario breweries. We were surprised by the price of the beer, though. $7.50 for 18oz for Trestle beer and $8 for 12oz for other breweries' beer. Definitely expensive, but also definitely worth a stop in.
Not speaking of Dave since I was denied contact with him the first place by Co-founder/ owner Chris Pettinger. I arrived to Trestle brewery at about 8:35, their website says they are open until 9! However I walked in and the doors were open, I was denied service and told they closed early due to the rain. When I called the "owner" Chris, he had said they can close whenever they please, last call is 8:30, he than asked how I got the number, ( it's on his business card so if he didn't want others having it maybe he shouldn't have put it there) hung up the phone and blocked my number. I decided to leave him a voicemail asking for the other owner considering I was quite disappointed with his resolution. He than decided to unblock my number to call me back with what was still a nasty attitude as his resolution. He was very disrespectful as well as all the young girls running the show, considering our inconvenience was a big laugh, especially when I asked for a number to contact about the matter. I than rushed to an lcbo because God forbid you'd like to support a local company, the man who cashed my boyfriend out said this has happened to him countless times when trying to purchase from Trestle brewery as well. Do not recommend. I'm sure Chris will just delete this since it seems he likes to shy away from any issue he encounters. Oh and just a quick question, Do you kick out customers mid eating because of rain fall?
Excellent view, friendly staff, great beer (nothing exceptional but tasty). Food is ok, a tad overpriced
Great beer and flight options and the boards are a must! The trout board was fantastic!
Beautiful location here in Parry Sound as you can see. Beers are pretty good, on the lighter side, the Pale Ale was my favorite. Friendly service and a nice looking food truck on site.
Best view. Dirty bird was really good. Poutine was okay and salad was good. Bear tray was awesome and good price, just 12$
Loved the location. The service was amazing. The food was delicious, but we would have appreciated more options on the menu.
Wonderful harvest host place to stop. Beautiful scenery, great beer and friendly staff. Lots of interesting people to chat with.
Friendly staff, great beer, and beautiful view. I could have stayed all summer. The food is very well prepared and tasted wonderful. The beer goes down smooth and easy. Sitting out on the deck under the shade with the sound of conversation and laughter around you while you watch the sun set is the experience that memories are made of. Thanks for a relaxing time!!
Great food. Great service. Great ambiance. Our favourite restaurant in town! Recommend the pretzels highly!
Great atmosphere and location for a brewery. Their patio is expansive and offers a variety of sun/shade spots with views of the adjacent river from just about anywhere. Beer was good and they had a nice variety of flavours to choose from, something for everyone. Food was good, I tried the pretzel which was a fair size for the price and showed up nice and hot. I do wish their menu had a few more options as I could see how some people may not be able to find something they like. Our waiter, Simon, was also an A+. I would return!
Great place. Great view of the trestle bridge with plenty of outside seating. Really good beer and beer selection. The food was also great. I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries and it awesome. Pretzel was also great. Very fresh, soft and hot.
One of the best ambiance’s to be had at a craft brewery - can’t beat overlooking the river and seeing the train trestle in the backdrop especially at sunset! Excellent well crafted beer and tasty food offerings - definitely worth the …
Enjoyed our dining experience at Trestle Brewing. We got the Bavarian pretzel and the cheese and cured meats platter an they were both very good. The views are beautiful as well!
Great place ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Philly cheese steak was amazing. I'm not a big beer drinker but they found me a type of beer I really enjoyed ????
Good beer, good food, good atmosphere. Friendly service on top of that, what else can you ask for?
Beautiful spot to sit on the patio enjoy a pint with a beautiful view. Food is 100% made with care and so delicious!! Must stop in Parry Sound!!
Beer menu is awesome. There is one variety for every beer lover. I fell in love with CHAOS SURFER (kind of light stout without sacrificing the taste). I had pulled pork and I'd say easily it was in my top 3 pulled pork list. They don't have huge menu but for a brewery, they have enough IMO. (side note: my gf thinks otherwise) Crew is also awesome. The only not positive thing I can say; the fries could have been better. If you are in the area, you should visit this place.
Best Beer. Best Food. Best People. Best Service. I highly recommend the Hole in the Wall and the Summer Saison. Also, any trip to Parry Sound isn't complete without a Dirty Bird!!
The food is ah-mazing, and the beer is tasty - but the last two times we've gone, it's taken almost half an hour to get initial service. Definitely recommend, but don't be in a rush. Really nice patio setup!
Unbelievable location, great beer and very nice staff. Such a cool building right on the river in downtown Parry Sound. The patio is also equipped with amazing views. Try the ipa and the pulled pork sandwich.
Delicious food. Great view. Really good beer! The pulled pork sandwich is a must try!
We stopped in over the Christmas break. It was busy but it was a great experience. Good food and I enjoyed 3 great beers. The summer will be amazing there. UPDATE. We went again this past Thursday and had the crispy chicken thigh sandwich. So good. Patio is even better this year and there are more beers to try.
Very nicely located brewery. Very good vibe with nice patio. Service was good. Food was good, of course the beer too. Will come back again.
Best Chicken Schnitzel sandwich ever!! My husband had the Rueben and was really impressed as well. Beer flight is a perfect way to taste your variety. We went in the Fall so it was too chilly for outside which is unfortunate as the view is amazing if you are outside :)
I've now visited here twice since the opening. This place is awesome and a welcome addition to Parry Sound. It's a great place to walk in, grab a pint and then carry on with your day. They serve wicked food! The patio and location is awesome.
Amazing place... scenery & food (and beer, obviously) are always outstanding and are only surpassed by the friendly staff and unbeatable service!
Great night in Parry Sound. Beer, Food, Atmosphere, and Service all great. Excellent Combo!! Taylor was very friendly and your front door hostess, sorry I have forgotten her name, was amazing and a pro! Made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived.
Could not have asked for anything more. Professional staff on a difficult weather day in a difficult time. They made it friendly and comfortable and a thoroughly enjoyable experience overall. I would say to anyone looking for a casual night out to head over to Trestle.
Very nice lunch on the way to Elliot Lake. Staff kindly let me know when the occupied EV Charging Station was free so that I could use before finishing lunch.
Love their beer, especially the Golden Ale (which you can also find in Toronto at the LCBO)! We like to snack on the Northern Ontario Cheese Board and Trout Board when we're visiting family up here.
I’ve been here several times and absolutely love it. I had the beer flight the first time and fell in love with their Golden Ale. I have tried various items on their menu and I absolutely love their Dirty Bird Sandwich. The patio is simply delightful and right on the water. If you’re ever in Parry Sound you absolutely must visit Trestle Brewery.
Very unique place unlike anything else in Parry Sound. Great location and atmosphere. Beautiful new view of trestle bridge and harbour. The beers (I tried the Golden and IPA) are quite good. Prices are a little on high side. The charcuterie board we had was not worth the price.
Fantastic beer selection, excellent food with high quality ingredients all around. Very charming patio with good views.
Food was amazing! Our server was delightful. Great experience and we will be back for sure. Craving another reuben. That was the Best!
Trestle is a great place! Friendly staff and a good selection of beers. It has a good atmosphere with music and a very open concept that allows you to enjoy being close to the water. We tried the Roasted Butternut Squash Flatbread and the Pulled Pork Sandwich and they were delicious.
Friendly and helpful staff, great food and a good variety of beers to choose from.
Great brewery with really nice beers on top inside a great setting. Highly recommended!
Really great place for a beer and a view. If it was warmer when I was there I can imagine the deck would be almost magical. Super friendly staff, we had the large charcuterie board and were not disappointed. It did feature some ok cold cuts but the cheese, olives, and pepperoncini were perfect as a break on the drive through. Limited menu was on offer for my visit, so hopefully the kitchen can keep up with the brewmaster when it's up and running properly.
So nice, we ate there twice! We had two great experiences at Trestle this passed weekend. We stopped in for lunch on the patio and enjoyed a flight and a next level smoked meat sandwich. Then came back with friends for dinner. I 1000% recommend Trestle for anybody looking for quality craft beer, and delicious fare. Make a reso or go early, as it does get busy quickly.
Couldn't eat at Maurizio's Pizza so came here and was super impressed. Food was delicious and came quickly. They also offered amazing artisanal root beer (from the Nickle Brook brewery) that is an incredible non alcoholic option. Service was polite and didn't rush us. The patio is great with a lovely view of the trestle and the restuarant has a lot of parking.
They have a great choice in drinks and food. Tried the pulled pork, pretzels, and turkey wings was not disappointed with any of my choices. When it's a nice day out I'd recommend sitting outside, beautiful view where ever you sit.
Awesome beers, delicious food and spectacular views.
Here's the reason I'm giving this place 2 stars. Firstly, the food and service were excellent, that was not the issue. The reason this is getting a 2 star review is directly due to the owner. We were there this evening as part of a kids hockey team. We selected this restaurant based on a friendly recommendation, and even emailed well ahead of time to ensure there were no issues with bringing kids (it is a brewery after all). The kids were well behaved for the most part (one spilled/broken glass which is why most places give kids plastic, but I accept responsibility). We all enjoyed a solid 2 hours there, with (again) great service and food. Things were fine until the end of the night, when suddenly an adult across the bar started yelling at the kids. What happened was two of the kids were trying to pick each other up..something along those lines, and the parents didn't immediately notice. Fine, no harm, no foul. I went over to talk to the person who yelled, and discovered it was the owner. I asked what happened, he said (rudely) that he didn't like kids rough housing in his bar. I said ok, but perhaps next time come and talk to the parents first...clearly they missed it (and if you have kids, you know how easy that is). He replied with something along the lines of 'the parents saw and ignored it, but it didn't matter because we were on our way out.' My issue with this whole conversation is that we literally just finished spending a decent amount of money here, only to be told off after doing so by this owner. As a small business owner, there is a need to understand how customer service works, and how to behave with some diplomacy in these types of situations. Instead, this person decided that 'don't come around here no more' is a better motto. So, if you're a family, long story short...don't come to this place. Even if you tell them ahead of time, you'll still be made to feel like you aren't welcome....after you've paid of course.
Excellent food, excellent service (thanks Alana) and we even got a bubble-table check-in from Chris. Love that local suppliers are highlighted in your menu such as the Pork Burger (Middle River Farms, Beaver Creek Organic Farm, and Wasauksing Maple Syrup). Delicious! We’ll be back.
Nice clean place, cute atmosphere and nice scenery. 65 dollars plus tip for this? Wait staff could have been more friendly.
Beautiful patio with great view. Service/ staff was very prompt. We ordered pretzel ???? , cheese board and of course beer. Pretzel was delicious, the cheeseboard could add a bit more cheese and less crackers, otherwise delicious. We will visit again
Great atmosphere! Friendly service, Kid friendly, accessible washrooms, great views. Train went by while we were there, very picturesque. Service was very quick! Will definitely visit when we return to Parry Sound! Took some beer to go try others!
My gf and I came from out of town and went to this place and the owner Chris Pettenger refused to serve us food. He just said “we are too busy tonight, you can’t order food.” This was during their regular advertised business hours, and while there open tables in the restaurant! I could not believe how rude he was to us. Don’t go to this place if you want to risk just getting denied service, I know I’ll never be back, I’ll never buy their beer and I’ll make sure to tell everyone I know that this place is a complete joke. It’s your fault that you can’t manage your business properly, don’t make your guests suffer.
Great location, great service, great beer. They were having some equipment problems in the kitchen today which limited their menu but, AFAIC, that wasn't worth deducting a star.
5/5 Experience. We opted out of a fast food rest stop and stopped in at Trestle. …
Fantastic gem right on the water. Great service, beautiful view while sipping a craft brew of your choice. More than just beer they offer wine, and a great selection on non alcoholic drinks including Kombucha. Trestle named for the train tracks in plain view that are a perfect back drop for their Dble IPA 60,000 Islands. Krista was fantastic and very attentive. We even had the chance to meet Dave who owns the joint- we happened to be sitting at his favourite table. Worth the drive.
Been driving by seasonally sinc before Trestle was there. Finally dropped in...was NOT disappointed! Friendly staff, had a great Pilsner (Arrow) and had the best Reuben sandwich I've ever had! Smokey brisket... Delish.
Great place to have a beer with friends and enjoy the view. The waterfront tables and the occasional passing by of railways add to the experience.
Great food and excellent brews on a beautiful patio overlooking the river. The dirty bird, chicken sandwich was very good and the fries are next level. The beers are awesome and the 8 taster, replica trestle bridge, flight holder was very cool. I will be back.
The perfect location and setting to enjoy a local beer and some seriously tasty snack. Patio overlooks the water and their new beer garden is a great place to sit and relax in the summer. Amazing staff, friendly and helpful, and great-tasting food and beer have us coming back each and every time we are in Parry Sound. Such a sweet spot!
Great location beautiful sunset place and great food and beer.
Awesome patio, great beer selection and the menu looked quality, though we did not grab any grub this time. Definitely will be back for a longer session!
Disappointed. Called in for a reservation and the person that took my call confirmed it. 2 days later I get a call back from Carson that they are unable to honour it since they’re “in season.” After telling Carson that I would share my experience he agreed to honour the reservation. So we arrived for our reservation today and guess what - no reservation. He said he would keep it for us but I guess that was just a ploy to guarantee that we would come and spend money here. I told the hostess about the situation and she tells me to “take it up with Carson” who happens to be away for the weekend. So now we’re sitting here at a table in the back of the restaurant rather than the patio table I asked for and waiting over 15 minutes now to receive our drinks and have them take our order. I guess the service is good as long as you don’t piss them off by asking them to honour a reservation. So disappointed. Hopefully they’ll come take our order sometime this afternoon. Very surprised at the google rating. Our whole group is officially writing this place off. All 6 of us do not want to come back again. There are way too many options in the area to sit and wait for bad service and a bad attitude. They treat people like they don’t need/want your business. I’d rather go somewhere where my business is valued.
Excellent experience at the brewery. Our food and drinks were fantastic but what made it for us was our awesome server Caroline. She gave us reccos for the area that we’re much appreciated. Thank you!! We will be back soon.
Stopped here on August 19 after getting my Bobby Orr patch. Wanted to have a treat of cold beer on a super hot day we sat on the patio deck and consumed at 30,000 islands IPA, if you’re in this region you got to stop here and have a tasty beverage fantastic views, nice people, definitely going back. Very busy
Beers were pretty good but the pulled pork was okay. Partner said she liked it and would go again. Bavarian pretzels were amazing!!
absolutely fabulous! great food, service, beer and views!
Beer was excellent, the rose was awesome and the brewers board filled with cheese, smoked meats, crackers, with home made pickles, jalapeños and these excellent pickled carrots, made it a great experience.
Its humbles me to support a brewery in a town I grew up in. Where were you when I was 19 lol. Great atmosphere and food and beer for everyone. Love the location and keep up the good work ????
Super service. Tasty cider. Dirty Bird - was okay. Fries arrived cold but they reheated them and they were yummy. Due to wind, which was not that strong when I arrived, no patio umbrellas. I had SPF 50 sunscreen on and burnt as cloud cover cleared.
We went on Friday afternoon to try their beer. We all wanted to order the flights unfortunately we were told they only had 4 out of the 8 available. Disappointing since it's a brewery. Pretzel was tasty and the patio was nice.
Fantastic atmosphere and service. Had the Turkey wings and chacuterri board, exceptional. Great beer selection, ended with the imperial stout which was one of the best I've had.
We had a really nice meal here on a warm summer evening. There is a great view (of the Trestle), service was fast, food was tasty. Most impressed by the entertainment (singer/guitar player) and the young men jumping off the adjacent railway bridge
Great drinks! Amazing views! Ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich and Trestle Salad. Outstanding!!Our server Alex was also the best. Highly recommend
Great place! Spent my birthday here the other night.. played some trivia. Good food, good beer and great people.. will definitely be back when I come to town next
Had a fantastic meal at trestle. Trout board and cheese board were wonderful. Didn’t take a picture of the Philly cheesesteak, it was eaten to fast. Great service and chef is great. A must not miss in Parry Sound! You can park at the main doc and then take the fitness trail over, around 8min walk. Well worth it!!!
Great food and service. Their pomegranate ginger beer was so goooood.
Great patio, food and beer (+ beer cocktails!). Full package, triple threat! We didn’t have a reservation, but did not have to wait long for our table. We sat in the tent which was nice!
Didn’t eat just bought some beer. Good beer, I think perfect for the community and visitors. Very palatable can’t go wrong with your choices. I enjoyed the the saison, micro ipa, 30000 ipa and the imperial stout.
The food here is incredibly good! The beer is delicious & we visit a lot in the summer. For this yr with the difficulty of COVID-19 Trestle has transitioned to a very large patio & quick service flawlessly! We can't wait to visit again
Trestle Brewing is creating something really good for Parry Sound and by the taste of their beers and food are succeeding. So happy they recognize and use local influences. The beer labels and branding need work to reflect the quality and uniqueness. Cheers
Good food and good portions, probably should of made reservations about 30min wait on Monday afternoon.
If you love beer as much as I do, there is no need to line up at the LCBO or Brewers Retail (gag) in Parry Sound. I picked up a mixed pack from Trestle that included lagers, ale, pilsner, IPA, session and a sour. They were all AMAZING! OMG what a great brewery to have near our cottage.
Trestle Brewing Company was a truly enjoyable experience for me and my family! We were able to enjoy the outside seating and lighting along with the enjoyable music. The food was unlike any other brewery I have eaten at. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the pretzel!!! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun place to eat with great food and amazing beer!!! My family and I will most certainly be back!!!
Nice brewery and good food. Best Thai vegan burger and Thai chicken tacos I've had in a long time. Their beers are also great!
Great beer great service ???? I should add call ahead for a reservation this is a very popular spot don't be disappointed having to wait a long time be smart
Was super stoked to try this spot out on our way back to Toronto. Turns out the patio isn’t dog friendly and they were suggesting people leave their dogs in their vehicles... Pretty bad look. Anyway, since we were still pretty interested in the food, we opted to order takeout as we wanted to support a local spot. After refusing to seat us, they also refused to let us order to go, saying it was only an option on rainy days. Needless to say I won’t be bothering to try and come back.
All I can say is go here for a great meal, great service and wonderful selection of beer!! If your not happy here you won’t be happy anywhere.
Great little spot! I’ve had my cottage here I’m Parry Sound for years and I didn’t even realize this place had been here since 2018. Tried it out today on a recommendation and was not disappointed. Great location right by the water, my …
I just love this little place. Great staff and friendly! Amazing food and yummy beer! Amazing views of parry sound bay and the famous train bridge.
Awesome food, great location outside, spec patio, great concept. Will go anytime again!!
The hostess was so terribly rude to my mom and I. She had told us a 30 minute wait and we came back after 30 minutes and she was snippy in saying it will be another 30 minutes and wait times are hard to predict. I understand that, but there is no need to be rude. Was a first time visitor and will not be coming back. Train your staff to be an accurate hostess and not rude.
Did not warn us about the 18% gratuity for groups over 10 during the time of reservation, but instead after we ate. We should not have been charged regardless because covid 19 rules suggest groups over 10 are illegal. Our group split up between 2 tables and were not able to socialize due to distancing. Continuing to charge guests the 18% automatic gratuity seems unfair during this time.
There once was a brewery named Trestle We arrived in a blue Ford vessel The beer was great And the food we ate Was on par with Phil Kessel Seriously though, the 8 flight taster is very fun and the smoked trout is to die for! My acquaintance had the vegan burger and said it was also delicious. My fav spot!
Excellent place to spend a summer afternoon. Great beer, expansive deck, excellent staff, and they take safety very seriously. Great chill vibe.
Can not manage their time at all. went with a group of twelve people over the weekend. was told 1 hour, after an hour and 15 minutes we went to check, they said it is probably another two hours. Manager was an absolute knob with zero customer service. we use to go their every other weekend. Prob have spent thousands there over years if not more. WONT GO BACK UNTIL MANAGEMENT HAS BEEN CHANGED, We will find somewhere else you wants our money. Good luck Trestle, your staff need it.
Fantastic venue! Friendly staff and quick service of both beverages and food. A good menu for a brewery. The Pulled Pork was amazing and the Chicken sandwich was so good. The Poutine was some of the best; must be the homemade brown gravy with a beer ingredient. The craft beer selection is so good it is hard to decide. Try the flights to find your favorite! Will always stop here when back in the area.
Great experience, even for 2 people who don't drink alcohol. Love what they have done. Feels like they have reclaimed a section of the river that had been neglected for so long. Great food and service, fantastic environment and the views are great! Exactly the type of business that our town needs!
I love this place - Great beer and always a delicious new cider waiting for you to try. The patio is gorgeous and so perfect for spending your entire afternoon on. I love to set my laptop up under one of there umbrellas, and just eat Bavarian pretzels and Turkey wings until I'm done my work. Also really fantastic music! The owner really hit the nail on the head starting this place up. Service is fantastic too. A go-to spot any and all the time!
Great staff, great patio, delicious food, great beer, stunning view. Come here!
The trout board is a must try! Beer is great too!
Stopped in for a flight and a pretzel to try out the new brewery, both were great! Will definitely be back for The Dirty Bird or the Pulled Pork Sandwich when I'm a bit more hungry! Hannah was our server and she was fantastic! Thanks and see you again soon.
Recommended place to always stop staying in town or just passing thru. Excellent service food and of course beer
You can always tell when there is passionate people creating each dish. We had the trout board, then the dirty bird sandwich. Food was amazing and fries were cooked perfectly. Then there was the beer. Not an IPA drinker but loved the citrus twist in the 30,000 Islands sampler. Rest of the selections in the 8-sample flight were also amazing. Ended up buying 24 in the retail area. Thank you for the great gastro pub experience!
Awesome drinks, food, and view! My husband and I came here for our anniversary dinner as we were staying in a cottage in McKellar and wanted to enjoy an evening out. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience! We shared the pretzel (it was huge), my husband ordered the Dirty Bird sandwich (he said it was the best chicken sandwich he has ever had) and I had the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich (it was amazing). The service was great too. Thanks for a wonderful night! We'll be back next summer :)
We made reservations this evening and were seated in full & direct sun, with no awning or umbrella available. The overpriced meal would have been much more enjoyable and even acceptable, if we weren't having sunstroke and sweating profusely. I would strongly advise the owners to invest in providing shade for their patrons, even if we all know that "winter is coming". It would enhance the ambience immensely!!!
This is the best place in Parry Sound! Excellent beer obviously, but excellent food, awesome views, great waitstaff as well. You should definitely visit here when in the area.
A much needed refreshing lift for the parry sound area - yummy local ingredients make up the simple, yet delicious menu. The refreshments are yummy and both are reasonably priced. I cannot praise the staff for their genuine service and fun. A must go to spot for anyone in the area .
Hailing from Toronto, after a 3.5 hour drive riddled with construction and heavy rainfall, my mood was lacklustre to say the least. That was of course until I walked through the doors of Trestle, where I was welcomed with a heartwarming smile, a delicious dry hopped mango sour, and the excellent service of one of the most outgoing and kind hearted servers I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Hannah truly is top shelf and knows how to make an old soul feel young again. Thanks trestle for turning my summer around!
Amazing place. First Resturant we have been to since COVID started. Felt extremely safe, and staff was very friendly. Will definitely be back again
We have a cottage at Pointe au Baril and enjoy day trips to Parry Sound for supplies and to visit local businesses. This was our first visit to Trestle and we loved it! The view, the food, the beer; it was all fantastic. We'll certainly be back!!
Great staff, delicious beer, generous portions for food and the view is ????????????????????????
Great experience at Trestle Brewing. Easy online reservation system. Staff were welcoming and pleasant. Server was on the ball and brought us out water before we even asked which was great on the sunny patio. Food was quick out of the kitchen and was upscale, homemade pub food. Beers were fresh and delicious. They had live music which was nice AND it was quite in the background, not blaring loud. I would go back and tell my friends to visit
Decided to check it on the recommendation of a friend, left disappointed. Ordered the pretzel, Northern Board charcuterie with smoked trout filet, and the pulled pork sandwich. Pretzel was delicious, mustard was reminiscent of Frenchs but the beer cheese dip was the star. Charcuterie board was good, trout was smoked nicely, the two cheese were quite agreeable, walnuts were well executed but ultimately they're walnuts. The pulled pork left much to be desired. The pork itself was cooked well but lacked any discernable flavour of it's own, not to mention the absence of any bbq sauce. I think there was coleslaw but that too was forgettable. Tried 12oz of their golden lager, it was not what I expected from a lagered ale but in a good way. Delicate from what I am used to which was a pleasant experience. Ultimately the food was average for most of the brewpubs I've visited, nothing pioneering to be found here. The staff were the real turnoff for me. We were seated promptly, given menus, told our server would be around shortly to take drink orders. As time slowly dragged on, our server had yet to come and even introduce herself, she seemed more concerned with fixing her hair and leisurely sipping her water at the bar counter. We were finally greeted by another waitress who asked if we had been helped yet, when we answered that we had not, she promptly visited the hostess station in hopes of tracking down our missing waitress. When our waitress finally graced us with her presence, she seemed rather put out that we interrupted her hairstyling session at the bar. We quickly ordered our drinks and food for fear of her not coming back. Upon completion of our meal we had to once again hail another server after staring at our empty plates for the better part of 30minutes waiting for our phantom waitress. This time we were greeted with sneers and looks of disdain for once again interrupting our waitresses social session. Ultimately I would not return, definitely not worth the drive. I would not recommend for anything other than a pretzel and if you're interested in craft brews but I hear Boston Pizza has started serving craft beer too.
An excellent brewery. They have an excellent selection of beers to choose from, varying from sessionables to full-bodied porters. Their beyond meat burger is amazing and is definitely worth trying even if you're not vegetarian or vegan.
We dropped by here to buy some craft beer after sampling it on the Island Queen cruise. We discovered that it was a restaurant as well. The setting here is magnificent, overlooking the train trestle bridge, the Seguin river and the inner harbour. Although there is indoor seating, the patio is quite inviting on a warm sunny late afternoon. Although the menu is limited, the food was gourmet quality in our opinion, quite excellent, filling and tasty. The Beyond Beef veggie burger had cilantro, thin sliced radish and aioli sauce toppings, an amazing combination. Our friends loved the Dirty Bird chicken thighs choice. Try the Bavarian hot pretzel too, delicious. The food paired nicely with the brewer's craft beers, and the scenic setting made for a memorable visit.
Trestle will be our new go to place for lunch, dinner and craft brews. We had an awesome dinner in the Yurt and exchanged vows. It was absolutely stunning and the staff were amazing! All 9 of us fit in the cozy yurt perfectly. I would give Trestle a 1000/10 if possible! Highly recommended! Ps. The dirty bird is to die for! Along with the Ruben, pulled pork, classic burger & their grinch tears brew ????
Good beer, great location, good but limited, selection of food. Live music on a Friday night was the clincher for us. I recommend a visit.
We have dined here twice for lunch. It's a small pub menu. The use high quality locally sourced ingredients. The servers were very polite and the view is great.
Absolutely loved this brewery. Food was amazing. Highly recommend the flight of beer. Try the trestle salt dock jump, a great summer beer. Amazing patio with gorgeous views. Definitely coming back next year on my holidays. All the way from Calgary, Alberta with more than 20 breweries just downtown, let alone the rest of the city. Trestle was a perfect way to enjoy the HOT summer days in gorgeous Parry Sound.
Location is nice, a bit on the small side. Beer was typical craft style, wasn’t overly impressed with it, and overpriced in my opinion. Food was very expensive for what you get.
Came back after a year long break , beer had not changed more added but all taste the same . Had the go to pretzel every brewery has and low and behold not more real mustard dip . Was given yellow mustard and a watered down cheese dip ... oh well I tried. Enjoy the wait folks .
Been here several times. Gets better everytime. Beers, food, service, facilities and atmosphere. The kids even enjoy it. Can't wait for Oktoberfest!
Great beer, pretzels and atmosphere! Will visit again!
Beautiful views , huge variety of craft beer, great energy from all the people there , staff were super helpful. Can't wait to come back!
We happened upon this place while walking around Parry Sound, and we were absolutely impressed with it. Pleasant location within a quick walk of downtown, right along the river with a great view of the namesake trestle bridge. The beer selection was excellent, and covered a wide range of great flavours and styles. We really enjoyed every one of them. It also came in a bespoke iron trestle flight holder, fitting the theme of the brewery. The food, while not the main attraction necessarily, also impressed. We had the trout board, which featured trout three ways and a selection of crackers, pickled vegetables and a cream sauce. It was excellent, with complex and delicious flavours. Overall, I’d say that we would definitely come back, and definitely would recommend it to anyone thinking of stopping by. Make sure you get a reservation!
Amazing food (and beer)! We came when their kitchen was broken and they still managed to deliver spectacular food. We had Caprese salad, Cobb salad, hummus platter and kids chicken fingers. The food was all so good that we came back the next day when the kitchen was fixed. Angry Bird sandwich, Rueben sandwich, Trestle salad and trout platter were even better than the day before! They also have a great selection of beers, an extensive selection of wine and great service. This is one of those hidden gems!
My go to spot when I visit town. Always ride in by bike because we definitely like to enjoy ourselves here. Beer is great, the view is great on the patio also. I challenge you to not get dragged in there by the smell of that smoker going!
The pretzel made me realize I had not experienced a good pretzel before. The house beer cheese sauce was just heavenly. Philly cheesesteak was to die for, the meat melts away in your mouth! Pulled pork was really good, has a rich smokey taste. We decided to try the two sours and we weren’t a fan, we just probably aren’t sour beer people though! Passion Fruit/Orange was pretty good nonetheless.
Great location, wonderful staff, excellent fries and pulled pork. Right along the trail, a short walk to The Island Queen, just past MacIsaac Way. Had the Trestle Imperial Stout, and can see - taste- why this brew was popular in India. It holds its taste from cold to full bloom at room temps. Met co-owner Chris; kudos to him, his partner, and the staff for creating this landmark experience
Excellent service. Super cute patio. Delicious food. We would go again.
I enjoyed the food and the beer. It didn’t fall into the loved category though. The view made up for the small short comings of the beer and the food! Still worth the stop if you’re in town!
Very nice place. Enjoyed a nice beer overlooking some of the most beautiful scenery i have had the privilege to view! I might add the great company! The beer was delicious fresh and crisp. We did not try the food but i can assure you it looked and smelled absolutely scrumptious. Service was fantastic quick and well timed. Look forward to returning.
A great addition to a beautiful town. Not only is the beer great, but the food is as well . Came on Canada day weekend and even though they were clearly busy the staff was awesome . Amazing patio a must try .
Wonderful atmosphere in the dining bubble. Trestle Brewery has been creative in hot to keep staff and customers safe while creating an enjoyable dining experience. Our food was delicious, we had the dirty bird sandwich. I love their beers so it is hard to recommend just one.
Amazing spot - we sat down on the lower patio with awesome views of the harbor and trestle. Gorgeous gardens, and server was very nice and helpful. Little slow but not her fault but a constant walk up and down to the main building. Only negative is we wanted to buy some cans of beer but had to line up outside again for retail so we skipped it. Too bad. All in all a great time!
Gotta say my review of the place and food and beer would have been a 5 but on my way out i could see the chef preparing meals with absolutely no ppe or face covering. I understand the claim that not everyone can wear them for health reasons or what not but patrons should be advised when someone handling your food is not wearing one. I would have made a different choice instead of eating here but i was not given this information to make that choice. You have sanitizer everywhere and all staff in the floor wearing masks it gave me a sense that this was being taken seriously.... only to later learn this. Very disappointing.
We recently went here for the first time while we were on family vacation. Went to try some different beers and grab a bite to eat. There was a great selection of beers to choose from and they were all delicious. The food really surprised everyone we were there with. It was very good and we were all able to share and try a little of everyone's meal and everyone loved everything we had. The best part of the whole experience was the service. It was above and beyond what any of us expected and made the experience that much better. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area and this will be a new yearly spot on vacation for us!
Came to this amazing brewery on a rainy day at the cottage. Best choice we made. This lovely place provides a great selection of beers, food and the view isn't half bad either. A must go to place if you are in the Parry Sound area.
What a great spot this is! Thank you Google for bringing me here! The setting is perfect, the waitress was friendly, the beer was better than average and the food was excellent (loved the Northern Board that came with cheese from la Fromagerie Kapuskoise and some very tasty smoked trout pâté). Will definitely be back!
Great service, great food, great beer - love the patio. Always make a stop when you in the Parry Sound area, never disappoints
Their beers are tasty, and the selections on their limited menu satisfied everyone's taste buds.
We visited out of town - and discovered this little Jem by chance driving up the road. We made reservations for that night for our families (we were 2 families). What a delicious and amazing experience it was... everything is made from scratch - you can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care it was prepared with. the servers were very very nice and accommodating, and the bier was delicious. All of this with a beautiful view on the river - 5 stars! foodies - you got to eat here!
Great location, looking over the river. Concise menu but everything was excellent. We all tried different beers and we're smooth and tasty.
Fantastic beer. Delicious food. Lovely staff. And the view is gorgeous!
Upgraded fries to a poutine. Fries were cold, gravey was also cold. Cheese curds never even started to melt. Wouldn't upgrade again. Other then that food was good.
It was my first time at Trestle. The food and service were excellent. They comply with all the COVID rules. The view is beautiful. Even though it was raining, the umbrella over our table kept us out of the rain. I highly recommend Trestle, but as they are so good, they are popular, so make reservations early.
The Dirty Bird is out of this world. Rich sauce on chicken pieces and coleslaw was huge and very tasty. Pork burger was really juicy and huge. 4 stars because the pad thai was covered in peanut butter. Service was curbside and efficient.
Fast & friendly service, delicious food & beautiful location. They took good preventative measures to ensure safety of guests and staff during Covid-19. 10/10 - Would highly recommend!
It was the worst experience ever. We reserved 3 tables but received only 2 under the straight sun. It was 30°C and we all suffered and burn. The attitude of the workers was horrible. The food was overpriced and on top of that we was charged an extra. So from 60 $ it's became 94$ for 3 portions of salad. We didn't enjoy this place at all
We visited here on a trip to Parry Sound. They had 6 beers on tap and we tried them all with reasonable prices of flights. A beautiful patio and a cozy bar area look over the bay. A great place to go sample and have some lunch. We will be back!
Spent the day navigating the local breweries in Muskoka and Parry Sound. We by far enjoyed Trestle! The staff is great (Thank you Marianne for serving us!), the view is fabulous, the patio is comfortable, and the food is incredible... Oh yeah and the beer tastes great too! Definitely a must-see if you are in the area!
Service was amazing. Food was phenomenal. Was there for a work Christmas party preset menu either chicken or short ribs. Had the ribs, amazingly delicious.
Good brews and excellent food
Ordered the walking tour, but we couldn't find the person but ended up walking the trail ourselves. We ended up walking the whole trail and came back to the brewery for a flight of beer. Great beers on tap and very nice staff. It is a new facility and I suggest doing your own walk and taste and grab a 24 to go as well.
Great food and craft beer spot in Parry Sound! A must stop when you're in the area! The pulled pork sandwich has some nice smoke to it. Dirty bird sandwich is also great!
Extremely friendly staff and fast service, pair a 30,000 island IPA with the dirty bird and I guarantee you won't regret it
Really good food, great beer selection, and a great view from the patio. Staff was super friendly. Menu was small but made with top quality ingredients. Best spot in Parry Sound
Would definitely recommend to certain ethic group which were not targeted by COVID. The group of 6 in front of us went in without being asked for reservation. The group of 4 after us went in without being asked for reservation. When it was our turn, they asked us if we had a reservation. We said no and they told us dine-in is fully booked till 2:30. Waitress seemed a bit stunned when we said we will wait but we didn't bother to stay at such an unwelcome place. Maybe all the guest were local and they didn't have to look up the reservation list to check who they are. Maybe we were not welcomed. Who knows. Please make a reservation if you want to dine-in, especially if you are one of the ethic group they don't want to serve.
Delicious! Ordered the Thai vegan burger and Trestle salad with smoked trout. Can’t wait to go back!!
Phenomenal experience! Reserved the yurt for our young family (including a toddler) and it was the ultimate way to dine! The food and beer was fantastic and our server was amazing! This local brewery/pub supports Ontario grown and supports their little community, of which I am a part of! We will continue to support and enjoyed every bit of our night out! Keep it up!!
Would highly recommend for anyone nervous about getting back to dining out. Two of us had the fried chicken sandwich on the outdoor patio, with a few beers. The waiters are masked and very respectful, and the service is great. Only interacted with the waiter to place our order, then pay the cheque, and was able to social distance the whole time.
Don't waste your time or gas as they constantly close early but decide to keep the doors open. Also not one employee was wearing a mask. Will be contacting MOL regarding this tomorrow since it's employers responsibility to protect all workers and their customers.
Stopped in for a quick bite on my way to Sudbury. I had a sour beer and the pulled pork, both were delicious! Absolutely fantastic fries, too. The lone waitress on duty was fast, efficient and friendly! With only four tables due to Covid, I suspect this place is usually full, so be sure to reserve!
My waitress was amazing! I didnt catch her name but the service was fabulous. Her recommendations were spot on and the food was so good! Thanks, Trestle!
Anniversary dinner gave us the Yurt ❤ thank you for a lovely evening, bellies and hearts are full x
We love the trestle and introducing friends to this wonderful spot. They have added tables with more shade this year. Try the flight of beers and the dirty bird.
Excellent food, beer and service and a beautiful patio on the water. What more can you ask for.
Went here today for the first time, great service, the kombocha drink was good, and I enjoyed my pulled pork sandwich. My sister liked the turkey wings and loved their fries!
Excellent experience from the location to the servers and of course the food and beer! Can’t wait to return!
Excellent view, very tasty food and of course a great selection of beers! Set up my Beer run from GTA for my prize - the Rye Porter brew - LOVE IT!
Great Place to spend some time. Huge portions for Lunch, great Beer
Straight up beautiful. THE spot to sip an ice cold pint while watching trains pass over the Trestle bridge.
