Always a great time. The food and service never dissapoint. The deep fried Mars bar is a must!!!! Friday nights are always buzzing. If you ever go and Darren is playing, you will not be disappointed with the entertainment. So talented and he plays every great song suited for the atmosphere. Check it out.

Great food, good prices, staff are usually fantastic but on a rare occasion, we were almost forgotten, we got food on time, but had to ask a different waitress to find our server as we were waiting a very long time for a take out box and a cheque. Even with that little hiccup, I still feel they deserve a 5 of 5 stars. I will not hesitate to recommend or to go back again! Love the Weasel!!!!

Top notch classic british pub. Friendly staff, VERY talented & reliable kitchen. Great wings, apps, sandwiches and burgers. If you live nearby its hard not to become a regular. I've completely fallen in love with this pub and its my favorite in Oshawa.

"The Weazel" has been a favourite for a long time... Great kitchen with an unassuming pub. Update: since the renovation and new ownership, service has steadily gone downhill. Waitresses are usually socializing. Top of your lungs, fake laughter might pad your tip at one table, but the guy who’s eardrums you’re blasting at the next table might just want a meal and a beer without needing earplugs. Wings have changed too, it’s a shame. Ordered wings today.... no dip for the veggies, no more wet wipe, and the waitress managed to take time away from her social life to call down from the bar area once in a while to see if everything was ok. I don’t think I need to come back here.... first time in years that I didn’t leave a tip, and I’m a long time customer.

This used to be our GO TO place for some great food and beers with a pleasant lively Pub atmosphere. Not any more. We went for an early dinner yesterday as we sometimes do, and noticed the new menu and some interior changes. Both of our orders of food were sub standard. Did the new owners fire the cooks??? Salmon dinner arrived overcooked and the cook forgot the rice. It was brought to us when we mentioned it. The fish and chips has changed. Used to be awesome. Now its thin and you wish you had some fish. My French fries (and there were not many) were burnt so bad that I refused to eat them. And they still charged $19 and $14 for these dinners? Our waitress was pleasant as always but I can't justify over $60. for food that is not as good as the local fast food joints.

Clearly new ownership. Looks good but the loud radio station they play during dinner is absolutely ridiculous. Trying to have a conversation or watch the game is difficult. Please get rid of the loud radio station. People don't want to listen to high volume radio ads during dinner or while watching the game. Also, 93.5 the move is not exactly appropriate for a bar/pub in my opinion. Service was good, food is good and well priced beer specials.

Service quality has dropped tonight. Food was ok but mistakes with the order. Our Server was Kaitlyn, was apparently taken to the hospital, and left the staff to forget about our table, while on their phone. Oddly the music volume changed, to where we could have a good conversation, once we received our bill.

It was terrible, staff forgot to hook up house craft brew properly, so it wasn't available, out of Coors Lite, middle of summer, and patio was closed????????, Everything we requested that was offered on the menus was not available, never in my life have I had a establishment strike out so bad. they tried, they did apologize,Would never recommend this restaurant, and will definitely never go back. Can't figure out how they are in business!!

My husband and I have been going there for years. I'm pretty sure I've gone through not one but three new owners in the last decade and in that time I've had great service, ok service and then tonight's service.... absolutely horrible. Our server was Kaitlyn, she took our order then informed us that the cook wasn't too happy with making our food as apparently the kitchen closes at 1050pm on a Saturday night meanwhile the bar stays open until 2a.m. according to Google. But ok we asked for no jalapenos on our nachos, extra salsa and sour cream as we're sharing but want our own - makes sense, we get our food with a whole lot of jalapenos on top last meal of the day glad to see he doesn't take anything personally oh and no extra salsa or sour cream. "Oh yeah he just put it into the same container" but that's not what we asked and given how we knew the cook was upset we just moved forward and ate our meal. At this point we had a new server who didn't feel the need to tell us this. No quality check. Bar was dead, restaurant had about 4 tables at this point (ours included) waiting..... waiting.... My husband's drink empty for about 20 minutes..... 25.... 30 finally I had enough and chased down our new server to ask for our bill who was on her phone. I was pissed. Her excuse was apparently Kaitlyn had to be rushed to the hospital and she's trying to figure out her cashouts and tables (Her words not mine). 1) if it's true then an employee left the place and everyone high and dry but where was the manager? Hell where was the cook or anyone to help the other girl who was clearly in the weeds? Where was the ambulance? Something! Or 2) poor lying and poor service. I'd say a little bit of both. We have a server who up and leaves and a team of employees who clearly don't have each other's backs. Incredibly disappointed, and let's face it nothing will be done or changed as the owners are ok with this.

Worst service I've ever had. Not sure if the server doesn't like kids but I came with my 9 year old because we just happened to be shopping in the area and the one in Courtice was always family friendly. The server ignored us pretty much the entire time. She went and sat with other customers at the bar and chatted while we wait 15 min to order..we were her only table and I know this because she showed up for work the exact time we arrived. We were asked once how everything was ...no water or smiles! The people next to us have a 3 year old and they had been seated and waiting for her to come over and she didn't! They had to ask to order!!! We are her only table at this point us and this family of 4. I'm sure if we were just here to drink and were men we would have had much better service. I've worked in pubs for YEARS and this place is the last place I would ever come again. We sat beside an open door while there was a windstorm happening outside. The food was good but that was the ONLY thing that was decent. Again May be if we were just a table of men we would have had better service.

The Waltzing Weasel used to be our favourite pub. Loved the curry fries, loved the Chicago salad. We just went and after 30 minutes without any service we left. It wasn’t busy at all, wonder what’s going on. Won’t be back to try it again for a while.

I really liked the place, the atmosphere was great. Wild selection of beers and a really great kid's menu. The food was delicious as well. My only concern was the service. We were rushed when ordering, the entree was on the table before we finished the soup, the bill arrived with the dessert... they should work on that, but otherwise a great experience.

We are frequent patrons and it won’t stop us from coming back however, excuses are made because “the kitchen is busy” then that may change. The kitchen is never too busy to greet your customer, say your name and offer more drinks for the service you are offering on this “busy” night. I love this place but it was the worst tonight because of an server that could not handle work load. If you are gonna be in the service business then smile, greet, apologize..... wash-rinse repeat.

Overall great experience. The staff were very friendly, polite, and attentive. The atmosphere was nice, and there was decent spacing with the tables. You can sit at the bar, in a booth, or at a table. The food was delicious. I had the French Onion soup to start. The cheese was really good, but the broth was a bit on the lighter side. Still very delicious. I had the chicken parmesian dinner, which was well portioned, and tasty. My friend had the mushroom penne, which was also well portioned, and very flavourful. I preferred that over my chicken parmesian. Her meal also came with a Greek salad, which was a decent size, fresh, and very good. There happened to be a trivia night (Wednesday nights at 8pm) while we were there. It was fun, well put together, and drew in a decent crowd of people to play.

Had lunch chicken curry pasta which was really good. Unfortunately, a foreign particle was found in the dish. I was not charged and went away hungry as I was not offered another entree. Also, the waitress said the "it" didn't come from the kitchen. So much for customer service. Just a FYI!

I’ve been coming here for 4 years since I moved into the neighbourhood. Decent food and decent beer for a bar in Oshawa. I went this evening and my friend and I got separate bills, somehow both of us were overcharged with additional arbitrary drink orders. I understand bars are suffering as a result of closures and restrictions due to COVID-19, but this is a scummy tactic to address a loss in profit. This bar is less than 500 meters from my house I will not be returning. Future patrons check your bills before payment.

After hearing so many good things about the food here. Tonight I decided to check it out. I ordered the meatloaf. I wish I could say I was pleased with the order. But unfortunately I can't. The meatloaf had a odor and taste to it. After merely eating a few bites of just one piece I simply couldn't eat anymore. I'm sure maybe it was just a isolated incident. The vegetables only included a lonely peice of broccoli and fried peppers onions. Felt a little sad since after being sick a full week being my second meal. The one I looked forward to the most. The server Britney was very polite tho.

We’ve had the pleasure of eating here a couple recent weekends. Husband really enjoyed the homemade burgers which are huge and an amazing price for the quality. I had the cheese cappelletti and it was great. Garlic bread with cheese was also lovely. Only meal we have had that wasn’t the best was chicken fingers so we will just order other meals in the future. Service was friendly and quick. Pricing is great and a lot of different options on the menu. See you again soon!

Server was prompt and courteous. We were there for a birthday dinner but cut our visit short when told we would have to pay extra for a tiny serving of sour cream for a rather large nacho platter. Although not technically a condiment, I've never been charged for extra sour cream before, especially in consideration of $$ being spent. We went elsewhere for dessert and will not return. Not sure if there's new owners, but with today's price conscious consumers, you run the risk of devaluing your reputation when you are stingy. Any revenue benefit this restaurant operator gained from charging for extra dip is now lost. There is no way to quantify how many customers they have alienated, but this used to be a popular, bustling establishment. It’s a sad commentary on how, if you don’t adapt AND treat your customers right, your business will die or at least whither before dying. And we all know that it costs less to keep your present customers happy and loyal rather than pay to try to attract more. Oh, and by the way, I can ask for more sour cream at Boston pizza, Shoeless Joes, Crooked Uncle, Fionn MacCool's and Portly Piper and never be charged extra. This is why they continue to grow while restaurants, such as yours, struggle.

I waited over an hour for my dish. It wasn't hot when served. The waitresses were not very attentive to out table. I wanted to order more drinks however the waitress didn't show up until the food was served. Not a good experience. To follow up, I did not get the servers name. We were a table of 18 on July 24th 2019.

I went for lunch on the patio at the beginning of July. Waitress was like a robot. Served guests who came in after us first. No PPE, no sanitizer, and I felt completely unsafe after being handed condiments from another table without being cleaned in between. I have been a regular there for 5 years and tried to support them as best as I could ordering takeout even though I was not allowed to work. My DM to them about was never acknowledged. I won’t be returning and don’t recommend this place

The service was absolutely horrible! It took 30 minutes just for someone to take our order. My fiancé had the steak which was way over cooked and the vegetables undercooked. I had the Slovakia dinner the chicken was dry and burnt and the lettuce was wilted. We have been incredibly sick since eating there.

Wife had chicken parm big portion to much for her. I had the curry very good. Burgers where great. Staff was nice good spot to watch the game and quite than a mountain as or Swiss chalet. . And good food for the money
