Just ate here for the first time and I was really impressed! The food is delicious! The green curry is incredible! The portions are also huge! We had plenty left over for lunch the next day! There are also lots of great vegan options.

So my wife, daughter and I finally made in to Thai Culture...and a little dissapointed we waited so long. I had the Thai spicy noodles, which I have in every Thai restaurant, leaving me well versed in the dish and this one was by far the best I've had! My wife had the pad Thai, again really good. But the show stopper was the veggie glass noodles, out this world flavor!!! It's the kind of dish I will crave weekly. The spice levels are high, so if you're uneasy with spice, ask to have it dumbed down. We look forward to many more visits and trying some of the currys. Check it out, you won't be dissapointed.

We have really enjoyed their food in the past. Have even encouraged people to come. However their customer service is horrible. We ordered from them recently, our order was not complete, and their only reply was that they would give us the rice free "next time ". It doesn't really seem to be making it right considering we paid for the rice in the first place. So we ordered again, placed an online order as the website which said it opened at 11 AM. We were ordering for 14 healthcare workers. I received an email confirmation that my order was received , however when I arrived to pick up my order, they were closed. When they called me an hour later to see if I still wanted my food, they didn't seem to care that I was not able to provide lunch for the 14 people who are waiting for the food at work. That we had to quickly scrounge to find lunch for these people. Their response was "oh sorry. I guess I'll cancel the order." I emailed them, and I have not received a reply. I am extremely disappointed and will not order from here again.

Best thai place in Durham. Recently dined in with my girlfriend and the experience was excellent. We got the red thai curry and chicken pad thai. I have to say it was the creamiest and most delicious curry I've had! Great place to dine in or to order out! Oh and the samosas are phenomenal.

Worst restaurant ever for vegetable lemon grass soup. I asked them to make it with coconut milk and to make it not as spicy as it normally is and they did complete the opposite. I have had other lemon grass soups at other restaurants and I never had one this bad. There was absolutely NO coconut milk and it’s the most spicy lemon grass soup I have ever had! Waste of money. My lips are burning from the spice.

Very flavorful food. I'm very picky when it comes to Thai cuisine especially after traveling in Thailand. Good spice levels, generous portions, and loads of great taste. I've seen a few complaints about price. It's worth paying a bit more for good food. You want cheap greasy food, go to Thai One On!

This spot is my favored. I eat in a lot of restaurants but to this place I go the most. The team is very amicable and the food they serve is so delicious. I am always happy to have a nice dinner in this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Horrible. As we were just told where to sit, not seating us, we sat for about 7 mins waiting for a menu. We both ordered an appetizer. Another couple came in about 5 min after we did and order an entree. They received there meal before us and we still waiting another 10 mins for our appetizer. Was very disappointment in the taste as I heard two other tables complain about being disappointed in the Pad Thai being bland, no flavour. The one couple only had a couple bites of theirs and they still had to pay for it. We sat and yet waited again for them to see we were done eating since they never came to check to see if we were alright or offer another drink. I ended up having to stand at the container for a bit to then pay for our meal. Will never go back or refer anyone to eat here sorry to say.

Very delicious Thai lunch. Had chicken curry with a tasty spring roll. They also had my favourite ginger tea. The glass noodles with shrimp was excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Their delivery or ordering system must be very poor because they managed to miss half of the Skip the Dishes order I placed. They had no delivery person available at 6:30pm on a Saturday night. That’s some poor management and staffing right there. They didn’t label the dishes at all and didn’t provide an invoice. Food wasn’t bad but definitely not worth the price and the inconvenience. Unfortunately I won’t be ordering from here again.

This place is an absolute jewel. The food was excellent and the service was still good even if they were short handed and swamped in pick up and delivery orders. The owner came to apologize even if it wasn't necessary and was very friendly. He also owns the wing addicts next door which we tried the following week.

Would NOT recommend. One time we got pieces of a plastic bag in our food, and the second time it gave us all horrible stomach pain and diarrhea. Food took over 30 minutes extra to be ready. Tried to give this place a chance, because we love thai food but I dont feel safe ordering from them anymore. I've only ever ordered takeout from them. Directly and through skip the dishes.

First they raised the prices, then they reduced the size of the portions. Now they have changed the quality. When we ordered mixed vegetables it was all onions, the cashew chicken was onions and peppers. Both dishes looked the same "gray". Last time ordering from Thai Culture for us. Too bad they have gone from the best in the area to the worst,

Terrible service. Had to ask for a menu after being there for 10 minutes. Then after another 40 had to ask if our food was coming out soon. No one ever refilled our water. They forgot our spring rolls, then told us they had run out. They then brought noodles instead of the rice I ordered. She wrote the order down! The chicken in the chicken and peanut sauce tasted like rubber and I ended up barely eating my meal even though I was starving at this point. We then had to ask for our bill even though we indicated we had a meeting to get to. Oh but they gave us a whole 10% off. Even if it was free I still wouldn't go back.

Ordered from here. Soup (coconut soup) is watered down and very poor version of the dish. Noodles were disappointing. Only dish I found good was the Malay Beef currey. Reviews on other sites show this place has having much lower reviews than the ones posted to Google.

What an amazing restaraunt! The food was incredible and so vibrant. Our server was friendly, funny and efficient. We love this restaraunt and will most certainly return. If you're not sure what to order try the calamari and basil shrimp....yummy!

I came away totally impressed after my first visit to Thai Culture. The experience is really a culinary fusion - Indian & Thai. I asked the Server to tell the Chef to make me whatever he would make for himself for dinner. I was served an order of Chicken Melay Curry. The meal was outstanding. Our Server was excellent and the prices are reasonable for food of this quality. Our next visit can't come soon enough. As an update, we went the following evening with our son who was visiting from out of town. It was a good as the previous evening. He agreed with us... this place is a five star culinary experience. Try the sticky rice dessert... YUM! YUM! YUM!

The first time we went here (about a year ago) the service was poor and it took about 15 minutes to get a menu, 30 minutes to get a drink and 90 minutes for our food to come out. The food was amazing though, and worth the wait. We chalked it up to new management and getting their footing. The second visit however was much of the same, and we started to lose hope! Surely the takeout would be better.... Nope. We've tried ordering takeout 3 or 4 times and it's just getting worse and worse. Pickup is 45 minutes to an hour! And then it started with running out of ingredients... Never having anything in stock. Tonight I tried to order take out again, told it's a 45 to 60 minute wait before even telling them what my food order was. Then was put on hold twice before being asked what I wanted, then told they don't have any. Good Bye Thai Culture! You could have been great.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant online. After waiting over an hour with nothing showing up, I called to see what was going on. They told me that my order never came in and that they would make it right away. The food arrived forty minutes later (ten minutes before they closed) and they sent me the wrong food! I called them back and they offered to resend my order. I told them that I wasn't going to wait another hour (would have been three hours since ordering) for my food and that I wanted a refund. They told me the driver would be right back with a refund. I then received a call back a few minutes later saying that the employee had spoken with her manager (who she said wasn't on site) and that he was only willing to issue a 50% refund. I told her that this was unacceptable, but she would not let me speak with her manager directly. She told me that he would call me the next day or the following Monday. I wasn't holding my breath, which turned out to be a smart decision because that call never came. They also went ahead and put through the full charge on my credit card. Thankfully I paid with my credit card and I was able to dispute the charge. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED!

I really wanted to like this place, but just can't give it more than three stars. We ordered take-out on a Sunday evening and were disappointed with the delivery time, the portions size, and frankly the quality of the majority of the dishes. The Thai place we usually order from (and love) was closed. I had eaten at this place years ago when they first opened and remembered the food being decent - but the delivery experience was very different. I would not order again and will in the future just opt for something different than Thai if our usual place is closed.

Excellent food, great location. We happened upon this restaurant more or less accidentally, while dejectedly heading home after a fruitless search for a different place! It was a lucky accident since we were quite happy with the food and service here. I had the chicken devil and found it to be quite tasty and very well executed. The ingredients were obviously fresh and cooked to perfection. We will visit again.

The food was tasty but it took a really long time to cook. The original time was 55 minutes when we order. Then we waited another 40 minutes on top of that in the restaurant when we went to pick it up.

I ordered through skipthedishes as well and what I recieved was nasty. Both the green curry chicken and the "garlic shrimp" made us sick and had one of us throwing up within 40 minutes of eating it. The "garlic shrimp" I had I believe was a wrong order because it did not taste garlicy at all, had waaaay too many onions, did not have any broccoli or mushrooms like the description claimed. Judging from these reviews, there seems to be a huge difference between the quality of their food when ordered and when dining in because their 4.1 stars do not reflect at all whatever trash we recieved from them. I really wanted to leave a better review as the food is really tasty, but the service was lacking. I ordered several dishes online and selected a pick up time for a few hours later as I was at work. About an hour after I ordered, I received a call from a girl at the restaurant saying my order had been ready for some time. When I explained that I had wanted it for later, she hurriedly said ok and hung up the phone... a better response would have been "sorry about that, see you soon." When we picked up the food and got home, we noticed there was no rice that was supposed to be included with the Malay curry chicken. If an item on your menu says it includes something, then it should be with the order. This restaurant is more Malaysian than anything so calling it Thai is a little misleading if you are looking for traditional Thai food. Like I said earlier, the food was delicious, fragrant and spicy (although their spring rolls were a little bland). I would order from here again but they need to work on their customer service if they want customers to return.

we ordered through skip the dishes...it was a surprisingly fast delivery! So fast in fact, they forgot to add tofu to 1 of our dishes. We called the restaurant directly - the girl asked us to call back tomorrow when a manager was in. We asked for them to remake the order and have it delivered (are we surprised the answer was no?)...so then asked for a refund. The girl then rudely told us we could go to the location and get our refund and then hung up on us. based on what I'm reading, I'm glad I contacted Skip directly as I would have been waiting forever to speak with a manager. I will continue to order from Thai Hot spot in courtice..their quality is A++ and bigger portions too!

LOVE Thai Culture. I eat here at least once a week and the food is amazing. The servers are friendly, the atmosphere is nice and the food is top notch. Best Thai in Oshawa/Whitby no question. I would eat the cashew chicken everyday if I could.

I ordered the golden curry with shrimps and it was mouthwatering and delicious. On top of that they gave us mango salad to try out and I must say it was amazing. Excellent job done by chef and staff. Cheers guys.

My vegan friend loves all the animal free options, myself I've not been happy with a meal ordered there yet. Soggy vegetables and lack luster counts of meat. No flavor depth. Just slop in my opinion. Way to over priced. Two orders of food no drinks ran me 36$ for takeout.

Never had a bad plate here! Super flavourful, spiced just right, large portions. We usually order about 3 dishes for 5 adults and we have trouble finishing it. Our server is always lovely and she works hard! Never super busy when we go but that's what we like! We've even had the owner come out and talk to us about our experience, which like I said....is always good! Prices are great too. We like to get the family or date night specials which are spring rolls, 2-3 entrees and rice for such a great price! You won't be disappointed!

The worst Pad Thai I have ever had and the Hot and Sour soup smelled like week old compost. If you like over cooked broken clumps of noodles and virtually no sauce this is the spot for you. If you opt for the chicken pad Thai expected approximately 4 tiny slivers of almost dehydrated chicken, as for the beef and shrimp pad Thai I can only assume it would be even worse. It's really quite difficult to put into words just how repulsive the hot and sour soup was. We could start at the stench, a mix of vomit and compost would almost begin to describe it. Then the consistency of the soup could be compared with that of wood glue.

Thai culture is one of my go-to restaurants. I am so glad that my friend introduced me to this place. It is obvious that they use high quality ingredients and each dish is made with so much love and effort. Some of my favourite dishes are the vegetarian Malay curry and shrimp devil. I would highly recommend this place. Best Thai restaurant out there!

I was at first happy to order from here since it was late night. Not knowing they did a horrible job on preparing my food since no one was in the restaurant and they were about to close in 45 mins, I also found strands of hair in my food and frankly it was quite disgusting. Although before I found the hair the food was quite tasty!

Multiple orders, same Each time.... Very Poor food quality... pad Thai noodles dried out and flavourless. Beef with broccoli. So over cooked The beef was like rubber and again flavorless Chicken devil was okay. Very watery gravy and decent spicy flavor. Samosas were delicious. ( got something right) For a $50 meal I feel this was definitely not worth it. Won't be coming back again. Sorry For those reading this... Try oshawa Thai cuisine. Much more satisfying pad Thai... This restaurant is my preferable restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to that place. when I feel like having a proper dinner, this place comes immediately to my mind. extremely good and many types of food and a rich cuisine.professional team, and good atmosphere. And very important, the tariff is reasonable. I suggest this restaurant with no hesitation.

I ordered a spicy chicken dish and a single order of spring rolls and it came to $19. The chicken was average tasting but didn't come with any rice. They forgot the spring roll sauce and they were average at best (obviously dry). Oshawa Thai destroys this place for taste and value.

Not too impressed. Spent $51 on skip for pad Thai that tasted like glass noodles with dry over cooked chicken and shrimp mixed with BBQ sauce. Asked for Lime with it and got two lemon slivers and the red curry chicken had to be the most flavourless curry I've had in a long while. I also ordered regular cheesecake (my hubby isn't a fan of chocolate/red velvet) and received the red velvet instead. It was tossed out. I chose not to complain to skip so that the restaurant wouldn't be forced to refund the order - I know times are tough, but I won't recommend this restaurant if you're looking for decent Thai food

We called ahead to set aside a table for two people about 2 hours prior. When we arrived almost everyone in the front section was still wearing their coats as it was too cold in the restaurant. The waitress informed us that our table was a two person directly in front of the door, considering the condition of everyone else that wasn't that close I was not about to ruin an evening out with being frozen, so we kindly asked for another table and didn't mind the wait for 10 minutes. While waiting another party of two came in that she seated in the back area right away, we were there waiting for seats. Turns out there were more empty tables back there we could have been relocated too. After 45 minutes all we had was one drink, which we ordered from the counter even prior to being seated. Most other patrons were going up and getting their own drinks, there was a brief cheer when one lady finally received her food. Almost every table that was there before us, hadn't even gotten their food in over an hour. Finally, having a concert to attend, i went to the bar asked to pay for the two drinks and told the girl we were leaving. She then seemed interested in finding out where our meals were. It was too late. They were entirely understaffed, for a Saturday night with a concert one block away they should have had staff prepared for an influx of people. We were so disappointed in the whole situation. Cannot rate the food, as none was received.
