As you can read, it has an average rating is very positive, and it is founded on a large number of opinions, so we can say that the assessment is very reliable. If many people have bothered to give their score when they've done well with the service, it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to write evaluations when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant belongs to the category of Restaurant.
Absolutely phenomenal place. We had a bachelor party of 11, they gave us a private room, split the bill however we wanted, service was amazing, food was incredible. If you're looking for a great night out, this is the place to go
We have mixed review about this restaurant. Perhaps it is because we got there almost at closing time. So let's give them the benefit of the doubt. The establishment is pretty, medium size, with a large outside front patio. They have a small menu, and the night we got there they didn't have any specials, and by the time we got there, they had run out of a couple items in the menu. Our server was pleasant. An interesting appetizer was the fried brie sticks, like mozzarella sticks yet made with Brie cheese, very rich and very good, although the aioli sauce served with it was too rich for it (it was a delicious and well-made aioli though). It would be better served with a jam that has some acid to it to balance out the richness. The spring greens salad was simple but fresh and well dressed. The spring pea soup was fresh and good, with a very different flavor (hints of coconut and fenugreek) yet it didn't taste like bacon nor was it served with a dollop of sour cream as stated on the menu. The mussels came in a creamy white wine sauce as noted in the menu. It was good, but it takes getting used to a creamy white wine sauce on mussels as opposed to the traditional more liquid white wine sauce. The seafood fettuccine was the best dish of the night.
Totally hated this place. we went around 3pm; only another couple on the patio. 45 mins for a poutine and a steak sandwich to appear; fries were burnt. portions were so incredibly small, we had to have a burger after we left + @$50 for a poutine, steak sandwich and a beer. what a rip off!!
Bad food.. Felt sorry for the waitress.
Highly recommend this restaurant. Food was fabulous...so decadent!! Cooked to perfection and amazing flavours. Excellent portion sizes. Server, Dawn, was great. Very attentive without being pushy. Check their website for NYE details!!!
Something different, not burgers, wings, and ribs.
Always fantastic food, device and yummy drinks! Atmosphere wonderful too.
Had Dinner Saturday night - booked reservations, came 20 minutes early and was promptly seated...right beside the washroom!! The hostess co- uld have seated us at any of the 5 empty tables but thought why not have this couple enjoy the wonderful fragrance of those exiting the bathroom every 3 minutes. Food was average, I ordered the beef and lobster - meat cooked perfectly but very fatty...for $97.00 wish I had went to the Keg.
Fantastic restaurant, great service and delicious menu. Would highly recommend!
The atmosphere was casual but nice, welcoming, and comfortable. This is one of those places that has unique and delicious combinations of spices, flavors, and ingredients that makes a wonderful and aromatic unique dish. My chicken breast stuffed with wild rice was fantastic, and my husband (who had travelled much more than I) said with amazement that his top sirloin steak was perfectly cooked and possibly the best he has had in his life. This place ages the steaks, they said, and that is why it is so very tender. I loved this restaurant. The service was excellent: professional, but warm and welcoming. The prices for this quality of food were very reasonable, $25 for my chicken dish, $18 for 7 oz steak. You can view their menu to see it all.
Had my birthday dinner here, the main I ordered was market fish and the appetizer was sea scallops. It was really delicious that I almost decided to go back again the next day. Strongly recommend this!
This place has the best quality & great tasting dishes, amazing service and beautiful ambiance that I have experienced here in Orillia. I highly recommend this place. You really need to call in for a reservation, this place fills up fast.
Delicious food. Intimate atmosphere.
Great restaurant! I went about 6 years back and the atmosphere, people and food were all “exquisite” ... I will be going back this Sunday for the first time since. I believe it is under new ownership since than. I will update this review if necessary.
Great outdoor patio, food is decent but this is a real pricey place to eat.
service was great. food was ok. soup was great, but I didn't care for the prime rib sandwich.
Classy place. We showed up without a reservation. Lucky we were early...the staff accommodated us. It was my mothers birthday so this worked out great. The ambiance and service was great. Our server Cory was TOP NOTCH. Offered us great advice from menu choices to things to do in town. We will come back anytime we come to Orillia.
Excellent wine selection. Steaks are fabulous. Great service. Highly recommended.
This place in my opinion is the best fine dining in Orillia. The steaks are amazing and there are some great specials most nights. If you are looking for something a little more upscale than this is the place.
Our meals were succulant & exceptionally delicious, we shared the pecan pie for desert and OMG!
The food is delicious and the wait staff are excellent. Service was prompt. I had the salmon and my husband had lamb shank. So good. Plus crab cakes that were yum. When we were there on a Friday evening there was a musician providing enjoyable dining music.
Food and Service are amazing!!!
Food & service were great. A lovely spot!
Exceptional service, and very high quality food. Highly recommended
Great find! Excellent menu and a very cozy atmosphere.
I am very disappointed in my experience at Era 67 on May 11th 2019. I was told to submit my experience through the website as it would reach a manager (as there was not a manager present the Saturday evening to address our concerns). I am posting a public review as I sent a message on May 13th and am very surprised that I have not been contacted. I booked dinner reservations for Saturday May 11th for my family to celebrate Mother's Day. When we arrived at 5pm to our reservation we were told that several menu items were unavailable (the halibut, filet mignon, pork chop and later on the duck was out). We were told this was due to Mother's Day the next day however I wish I had been told this when I booked reservations as I have family members with dietary restrictions. We were then told there would be a dinner special however the waitress advised the chef would not tell her the special... at 530pm we proceeded to order (also didn't understand how the chef wouldn't know what the special would be for the evening). We did not get our salads until 615pm and our meals until 650pm. We were told repeatedly that our meals were being plated at 620pm, and at 630pm. We were very disappointed to receive our meals as a few of us had ordered the poutine with a beef back rib and did not get this meal, we had some bits of meat (very small portion) and our waitress told us what we ordered wasn't actually on the menu anymore and our menus were not correct. Since we were starving we ate what we were presented and mentioned we would like to speak to a manager. The salads we received were extremely small portions and my other family members had ordered the 8oz burgers and these were not close to 8oz. I have eaten at Era 67 before and not had these issues. We were then told that there was not a manager on site and the least they could do was take 10% off our bill which was not sufficient considering our experience. We were told there was a new chef and new menu switching over in the next few days, however these should not be reasons for not getting the items we ordered. As a higher priced establishment the food and service we received was not comparable to the price charged and since there was not a manager onsite I assume that is why we could not get our bill rectified as deserved. Wondering why a restaurant on a Saturday evening would not have a manager present. We were under the impression that the manager would be reaching out to us after we submitted this experience on the website to rectify the situation. However, after waiting weeks for a response (still nothing), my family and I will not be returning to this restaurant, I would give zero stars if I could.
Great for a semi-private dinner., Interior design is unique. I will return for another experience.
The service was good but our steaks were really tough. My companion couldn't finish hers. It was her birthday dinner. The meal was costly as well. We could have had a more satisfying meal elsewhere for alot less
Dinner
I really enjoyed the food.
Amazing as always. Cory always goes above and beyond to make it an incredible night out!
Really enjoyed dinner but the creme brulai was just toooo rich.
Great food great atmosphere and great staff. We went for barrielicious and had one of the best meals I've ever eaten. It is higher end so don't expect it to be cheap but the food is worth the price
Great dinner, excellent food, very nice and special variety.
We enjoyed our visit. We had some wine and appetizers. They were good and the wait staff was friendly.
The food was superb as usual. Friendly staff and nice and relaxed out on the patio.
Those people who complained about this place are crazy! It's literally the bees knees! Best food!
Had an awesome evening. Went for dinner with my wife and another couple for the Barrielicious menu. Our server Jan , gave us exceptional service and the food was really good. I really enjoyed the flavors that they combined for our meal. Really enjoyed our evening. Thank you very much !
Meal was delicious, the mussels were the best I've had in a long time. We had Austin as a waiter and he was fantastic always checking up to make sure we were happy with our meals and had everything we needed, he made the experience even better. Would highly recommend this restaurant for a nice evening out, the atmosphere is so nice and cozy as well.
Okay food - great service
Friendly staff, great food and good service.
It's overpriced for underwhelming food
Went to the restaurant in the summer for Barrielicious and was disappointed. Tried again for the New Years dinner tonight and was equally disappointed. Our waiter Cory was amazing but unfortunately the meal was undesirable. The bacon on the scallops was not seared, the onion soup was not broiled and the wellington was well done when told it would be medium rare and was served with crunchy broccoli. The creme brulee for dessert was dripping off the spoon.
Very warm and accommodating staff. Amazing food!
Wonderful lovely cosy place that serves mostly local Canadian food. We have 8 of us - booked thru the website with no hassle and was even given a nice private room! Had all-you-can-eat mussels and spare ribs. Both tasted really fresh and delicious!!! Nice place with great atmosphere and amazing staff! Cory was really cool and thoughtful :) definitely worth visiting ????????
Great restaurant! Had an awesome meal and was served by Shane, that was very friendly and made our dinner even better! Thank you!
Fantastic food, great service!
They used to serve LOCAL craft beer here at one time but now its just Molson and Sleeman. I find it strange that a place that has a "Shop Local" sign inside the front door and uses the word local over and over again describing their menu, serves beer from a foreign owned Brewing giant who's very last concern would be about supporting local. This restaurant could easily support local breweries as there are many within less than 100km. Flying Monkeys, Redline, Barnstormer, Horseshoe Valley, Sawdust City, Muskoka to name a few.
We had an amazing experience last night at Era 67! We had wedding reception plans for my sister change last minute, the team at Era 67 took us in last minute! The servers were super accommodating to our needs, even allowing some set up of tents on the patio the night before. Sam served our four tables with grace and charm. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. We can't recommend this place enough!
Wonderful friendly staff who know their menu and good food! I had the back ribs and my husband had the steak. Both were delicious and came with garlic mashed potatoes and fresh veggies. I even got offered a nice dessert because it was my birthday. Would definitely visit again when in the area.
New owner and Chef NOT what it used to be
Always excellent food and service
Very delicious, in the past has not been what I expected but today was spot on. They have a new chef in house and the food has much improved
Nice upscale restaurant in downtown Orillia. We really enjoyed the new summer menu. Service was excellent, and the ambiance is a cut above.
Delicious!
Found human hair and animal hair in my food . Waitress forgot our appetizer and we were the only people in the place! The owner is disgusting too ! Defamation ? Clean your kitchen you pathetic excuse of a business owner !
Great food great service and a really nice atmosphere!
Ceasar Salad was a joke!!!! The meals where tolerable.
If this is not one of Orillia' best kept secrets I don't know what is. You need a reservation in order to avoid being turned away at the door on a summer Thursday, Friday or Saturday night. The food is over the top good!
Loved the food and the service! Our server “Sam” was very personable, helpful and pleasant. Nice patio not just on a sidewalk and not the least …Great food at a more than fair price!
steak, lobster, dessert all pretty mediocre, esp considering the price. great service and great atmosphere
They never disappoint! Another fantastic night and awesome food. Thank you all, we'll see you again soon!
Dine in
Great dinner here. One of the best places in town.
I have never been disappointed with any meal or service here. Great, affordable lunch. There soup, salad, sandwich special is always fantastic. We need to keep supporting local businesses now, more than ever!
Excellent food and staff!
Came here for dinner with a group of six people. Sat out in the patio as there is no indoor dining there yet. Very nice place with very good food and service. Our server Cory was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend their scallops and mussels for appetizers.
Era is awesome. Excellent food and fantastic service. I've been here a couple of times, they are very accommodating and the menu is top notch. Had the prime rib dinner last time...bloody lovely!
The food is superb. I got take out and was very pleased. The staff was a delight. Very recommended
Always simply the best...
Very good service and food and cleanliness.....I definitely recommend it.
Servers were fantastic and very accommodating. They were very patient in waiting to see if I wanted anything with my tea. I recommend the soup, salad sandwich.
Great local restaurant in Orillia. Good place to have dinner before going to a concert at the casino. The short ribs were fantastic...tasty and very tender.
I've dined here once, but would recommend it to my closest friends. Our waitress was very personable and friendly.
Best in town
Pretty, looks like it could be nice...BUT SO SLOW!! We were the only ones there and it took 2 1/2 hours to have lunch...and we were still hungry. Not what we expected for the price. Chris, our waiter, was nice but ????
One fantastic restaurant, our waitress "SAM" was one of the best I've had in many years the service and food was absolutely outstanding I would highly recommend this place.
My wife and I had a wonderful meal at ERA 67. The Coq Au Vin chicken was excellent (very tasty) and the strip loin steak was very good, especially with mushrooms and onions (terrific flavour). We heard this was the best restaurant in the area and we can confirm this is a great restaurant.
The food was poor, everything else was fantastic. We took the family here as my parents had been months prior and really enjoyed it. I don't know if that changed because the old management retired but the food this time was quite disappointing. The Lobster Bisque was far too acidic. It probably should have been called lemon bisque as you could barely taste any lobster. The staff swapped it for a mushroom soup that was alright when we complained. My mother got duck which was cooked very well done so it was too chewy to eat, and my poutine was mediocre at best. On the other hand I heard the steak was good and my sis got an awesome pasta dish. Our waitress Holly was super friendly. Chatting with us and helping us with all the food problems with a smile on her face. Over all quite disappointed but it was strange because of the great atmosphere and service combined with such poor food.
My second visit to Era 67 in a month and the food, service and experience surpasses the prior visit. Dinner in their private dining room each time - I am spoiled for life! I can’t say enough about their staff; with just the right amount of attention and personality, they deliver service that is remarkable and not easily forgotten. Now let’s talk about the food. It is evident the chef and kitchen staff are passionate about what they do - dishes are prepared fresh daily with local ingredients. A creative selection of delicious appetizers and entrees await you. The melt in your mouth lobster tails are my personal favourite. And just when it couldn’t possibly get better, our waitress brings out a chocolate sensation dessert and handwritten notecard wishing me a very happy birthday. Now that is attention to detail!
Wide selection of interesting dishes
Great food!! Fantastic atmosphere!! GM makes the evening very enjoyable. Highly recommend going to Era 67. Cheers.
Always love coming to era 67 lunch or dinner. Menus are always terrific and in season.
Let me start by saying we are not from the area. We were out for our anniversary and looked online for a nice restaurant. I have to say my wife and I both are beyond tickled we found Era 67. We came in on the third day of their new chef, and we were SO glad we did. The food was excellent. I was a little leary before getting there, as the price point is a little higher than our normal night out but I must say, it was well worth it! My wife had the short rib, I had the grilled pork chop. Both were some of the best we've ever had. The roasted garlic mash was, bar none, the best I've ever had. The veg was cooked to perfection. My wife's short rib was super flavorful and truly falling of the bone tender. My pork chop was done perfectly, cooked just to done. The reduction on the short rib is amazing!! We had the Apple & Pineapple beignets for dessert, and again, they were awesome. If that was all the dinner would have been a rousing success, but the super friendly staff made this a memory. If you're looking for a meal to remember, this is the place you want to go.
Such great service and crab cakes had excellent flavour
Just Awesome place with great and delicious food. Amazing service.
Great food.
Just came from Dinner Friday evening. It could not have been a better experience! Our Waitress/Waiter/Wait Staff - Holly - could not have been better. She was friendly and informative, there when needed and not there to bug us. Thanks for such a great experience!!
My mom and I were looking for a good restaurant, with good food, where we could chat and enjoy ourselves. Era 67 met 'all' those requirements. After we'd ordered and received our drinks, we were told our 1st course was being prepared: Beet Salad Carpaccio and Warm Portabello Salad ... both wonderful. We were talking the whole time so it wasn't until they had cleared those plates, that they told us they would get the main courses started. We appreciated having the time to enjoy our food without being rushed. If you have places to be, you might want to inform your server at the start, but we loved this approach. We received a complimentary and freshly prepared treat of kettle chips and dip to savour as we continued chatting. Main courses were a Half Rack of Lamb and the 6oz Bacon Wrapped Petite Tender. Mmmmmm. They were so good, we almost stopped talking. We finished off with a shared Fresh Berry & Fruit Parfait. Every dish we tried was perfect. The servers were attentive, communicative and sociable. Yes .. the lights flicker ... but only a little and the food is a great distraction. I encourage you to go be distracted. =) Laura M (2017-09-05)
Awesome filet mignon. Everything was good. Cory was great.
Great food and nice atmosphere.
Very much impressed - not cheap but great food and good ambiance
I enjoyed my meal, however my guest from out of the country was not thrilled with his steak. Overall I liked this place and will return.
Delicious! You have to try the fried brie it's so good.
Wonderful dinning experience! Thanks to Cory for excellent service. The food was interesting and flavorful. If you like Bloody Ceasars they have a very unique one. We'll be back and recommend this place to our many Air BnB customers.
My boyfriend and I came here for a date night and it was amazing! Delicious food, our server was fantastic, the atmosphere was great! Highly recommend.
Lovely find on Orillia's Main Street. Fabulous, high quality food with excellent service. Very good value too. We had a small family lunch gathering and were treated kings!
Traveled from Kawartha Lakes to have lunch on Tues July 10 to use our $50 gift voucher for ERA 67. We arrived just at 11:30 to find the restaurant closed and in the dark. We waited for 15 mins but no one there. Checked with an adjacent business who said they open at 11:30 but when I said it was now almost noon, she was quite surprised saying that they were open last week! Walked back to the restaurant but still all closed up and no sign of anyone there. Tried calling and immediately went to voice mail?? If a restaurant wishes to change it's operating hours then changing their advertising would be a good idea!
Wait staff Corey was excellent. Corey explained how to access the Casino easily for the show.Food was amazing. Will visit again.
The meal was excellent. Austin, our server, was attentive, helpful and efficient making the whole experience very enjoyable. I would definitely return and highly recommend. 5 stars. It was our first time. Had attended a play at the opera house and walked up the street to Era 67. I found it originally when booking tickets for the opera house. Clicked on places to eat nearby and Era 67 popped up. Liked the fact that I didn't have to move my car after the performance. Very impressed with everything including decor, ambience, service and food.
We had a very delicious meal last night at Era67 the duck wings were awesome. Koodoos to chef Nick for preparing such a great dinner. Dinner and service was a great experience!!
Patio. I had Ceasar salad and Yorkshire beef aoili thinghys. Delicious. We were a table of six and everyone enjoyed there meal. Even the bill wasn't horrible. Service was decent.
We had a great meal on the patio tonight. Amazing service and fantastic food. We will be back soon
We ate at Era 67 tonight for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the food, accommodating service and atmosphere! We strongly recommend this restaurant!
First time visiting Era 67, had the mussles, lamb and stuffed chicken. Everything was great along with great service.
Great tasting food and reasonable pricing for the quality of the ingredients. Excellent staff and nice atmosphere!
Service was good!
Excellent food and service.
excellent food and friendly service well worth the price.
The fries are really good
Everything about this restaurant is fantastic. The food, the service, the fact they buy locally and within Ontario for their food is very impressive. The waiter was friendly, courteous and made us feel like we were special guests in his home rather than a restaurant.
Always great service and even better food. Highly recommend
I was surprised to find such a great little restaurant on the outskirts of downtown Orillia. The chef really knows her stuff, excellent food preparation and overall experience.
The best food went to the worst food ever when it changed to new management... Don't waste your money! Awful awful food!!
Stopped for lunch. The food was very delicious, and the service was excellent! We will definitely go back
Very friendly staff and really enjoyed our lunch. Was our first visit and we 'll definitely be back.
Food is best. Service friendly. Classy. I have gone again. The new menu is terrific. Staff are professional.
Outstanding restaurant! Great food and wonderful service. Too bad I don't live near by, I would definitely go more often. Thank you Collin our waiter on making our visit amazing!
Great good and atmosphere! Highly recommend.
I have been to Era 67 twice and was disappointed both times. My last visit was with family from out of town. The bill came to $367 for 3 adults and 2 kids (with no alcohol ordered). I ordered the filet. The only choice of vegetables was asparagus so I opted to pay for sautéed onions. I ordered my steak medium rare. It took over an hour to be served dinner and there were only 4 other people in the restaurant. My steak was blue (rare). It had to be sent back and then took another 20 minutes. So by the time I got my meal everyone was close to being finished. I had to ask for my sautéed onions twice and they were not sautéed onions. It was onions pieces in a beef broth that is their base for french onion soup. So I paid $64 for a improperly cooked steak, 5 mini potatoes that were also under done, cold soup broth and a pop. I really have a problem understand how I can cook better than a chef. If its a steak house how can you not know how to tell the "doneness" of a steak? I should have suspected a poor meal when the chef from there was on Chopped Canada and was the first contestant to be "chopped".
Very enjoyable last minute visit. Good food and good live music by Nolan Hubbard. Wait staff were excellent.
Just had an amazing lunch as a part of the Flavours of Lake Country menu. Food was flavorful and staff was great.
Great place with an exceptional customer service and delicious food!!
Always an amazing meal whenever we go.
Appetizer and main were good but creme brulee was too loose and sugar layer too thick. Still tasty. Good service.
Soup was tasteless, lobster Mac and cheese had 1 small piece of lobster in it for $32. Caesar salad was not great. A very expensive meal that was a huge disappointment . Service was not professional, more like a family restaurant. Not the place for special celebration. What happened, this restaurant used to be so good?
Service
Delicious! Also appreciated the complimentary dessert for our anniversary.
Ate there friday night, was violently sick with diarrhoea by 3am . Had the scallops entree as well as the muscles. The chicken stuffed for dinner. I think it was the muscles. Also the homemade chips were very soggy and not cooked. Something has changed there it used to be very good but now seems they do not care anymore. Staying away from now on, what a waste of money
Delicious food and outstanding service. Live music was amazing too.
Era 67 was an amazing venue for our intimate wedding reception this October 2020. Kira, the General Manager, was very polite and professional in all our interactions with her and she made sure that our reception dinner was exactly how we wanted it. My husband and I are both foodies so we appreciated that the dinner options were definitely up our alley. Our guests were all very content with the quality and portions of food and beverages during our reception. The servers were all so attentive and friendly throughout the evening, ensuring that we had everything we needed. The pandemic restaurant restrictions were still in effect, but this was handled gracefully and the evening was an overall success. We highly recommend Era 67 as a wedding reception venue and we look forward to returning for a date night dinner down the road. Thank you, Kira and all the Era 67 team, for being a part of our special day!
Very high-end restaurant food is magnificent
Service is excellent and some dishes are perfect. Common for some dishes to be a bit on the heavy greasy side.
Unfortunately, our first visit in a couple years (due to covid) was pretty disappointing. I have given a three star rating in recognition of the industry struggling with staffing due to covid; as our experience was more of a 2-star. We began our visit with being informed that several items were unavailable. Our meals were lacking the flavour and quality we had remembered Era 67 providing and I was disappointed to hear the house chips are no longer offered and my sangria was not a sangria at all but maybe wine mixed with OJ. I hesitated leaving a review as I did have so many great experiences here in the past but this visit was not what we hoped for, nor what the price point represents. Hopefully it was just an off-night and others have better experiences.
Ok for customer service, food is not what I expected. I was hoping for better quality.
Excellent food and hospitable staff. Would highly recommend and will revisit.
The rib eye and the stuffed porkchop were fabulous as was the seafood chowder. Katherine, our server, could not have been better. Her suggestions were spot on and she made the night.
Amazing dinner! Food was excellent!! Service was excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant don't waste your money at Rama for dinner!!
Service was great. Steak cooked on point
Excellent service
Very disappointing. We read some mixed reviews but decided to try for ourselves and were looking forward as the menu looked delicious. Did we ever get fooled The service was the best part of this restaurant, although the highly reccomended dishes by our waiter, were far from satisfactory. While most of the food was mediocre, at best, the worst dish of all was the duck perogies..for $18 we got 3 small perogies. Didn't taste any duck - the Smokey flavour was all that we could taste Highly disappointing. The braised beef poutine was filled with some kind of seeds, which were uneccesary and absolutely disgusting. We tried to pick them out but there were far too many to be able to get. And then when the bill arrived and we saw the cost of this meal, we'll.. That was the icing on the cake! Over priced and highly disappointed. Will not be returning for another visit.
Very nice. Reasonably priced
Stuffed portobello was really good, the risotto was the best I've had. My husband didn't love his lamb, but the crab cakes were just ok. Right now, during pick up only, I walked in to an empty restaurant. My food was right by the door (easily could have grabbed it and left). I called "Hello" loudly several times for someone to come. I ended up having to walk all the way back to the kitchen where I could hear everyone. Finally someone heard me and came to cash me out. That soured things for me. It's a weird time right now, but I didn't like having to chase down staff to pay for my $90 meal. Definitely wasn't impressed enough to return and give them a second chance during regular sit-down times.
Great lunch. Fresh food and friendly people who work there.
Can one choose 6 stars? The food here is phenomenal to say the least. Everything is made fresh daily. The taste makes this obvious that it isnt mass produced. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I ate on the patio and did not see inside but I would say it is by far the best patio in Orillia. It is large, quiet and away from street. I learned that they have live entertainment Thursday through Saturday evenings. Will definitely be back. Great place to enjoy a quick bite or kill some time. You cant go wrong.
Top drawer! We went for the Flavours of Lake Country price fix $35 for 3 courses in this week's menu. Salad, chicken with fusilli pasta in a rose sauce and creme Brule for dessert. Were sensational! My friend had the pork with cranberry jam, roasted garlic mash and pumpkin cheesecake. Sorry no pics but highly recommend and Dawn our server was also fantastic!!! Will definitely be back all the way from Midland!!!
Great food and excellent service. Cory was a gem. Rarely have seen service like that! Thanks Cory!
Delicious, high quality meals with a relaxed atmosphere
The serving staff are so friendly and welcoming they are enough to make us want to return. The new chef is innovative and.a perfectionist from the.looks of it. The food is amazing.and the.espresso martini is fantastic. Qould definately go back
Even with changes to the chef recently, the food was below satisfactory. We were in a larger group, and many of the orders came under cooked. The risotto was hard and chewy. The steak was a cheap cut not worth the price. Appetizers were cold. The prices are far too high to justify the food. By not buying quality ingredients it shows in the output.
Went on a Thursday night to celebrate my son’s birthday. I have always had a good experience on a weekend and thought this would be a lovely option All you can eat mussels on the website was not available as well as appetizers on the menu. The best part was the ceasar salad. My husband’s $35 steak was extremely thin and over cooked, my panko crusted haddock was burnt on the bottom my son’s seafood jumbolaya was “fair” and his gf’s chicken supreme was dried up and basically a chicken breast with a small amount of cheese in the end. I asked if I could order fresh bread and we got 4 thin slices cut from of a dried roll. When they advertise food all from Orillia, I’m sure they shop at Metro. A $35 steak should not be 1/4 inch thick. I have no problem paying for meals that are delicious and cooked properly. $215 later and we wont go back.
The food was very average, not much flavour. A lot of money for the caliber of food.
Very good service and decor. Lunch mediocre. Soup very spicy even for me which chef replaced with a very bland one for my dining partner. Spinach salad very refreshing. Asiago, bacon & tomato sandwich only soso.
First time at Era 67 and we had lunch. Great service and great food. Stayed a little longer than should have as we talked with our best friends. Coffee refill was offered by our hostess. Nice and cozy place and must be nicer in the summer. We will be back. Thanks for the experience. Worth the drive from Barrie for us and from Midland for our friends. Can't see why anyone would give less than 5 stars. Please don't change the attitude and ambience at least until we have a chance of enjoying a nice dinner. I wish I remembered our hostess name. She was great. Made us feel welcome. Thank you.
Received Costco gift vouchers for Era 67 used them today excellent food ,outstanding service from Corey...never been here before but will definitely be back!
Excellent food and service
We had lunch at Era 67 recently. It was fantastic! Can't wait to return soon for dinner!
Excellent food and service..a hidden gem set back from the street in a court yard just passed the Orillia Opera House so don't miss it .We were on the theatre and dinner package, excellent value, limited menu in this package, but this helps when choosing what you want to eat, don't want to be late for the show.
Food was excellent and service was very friendly and attentive. Lovely atmosphere too!
A fantastic evening! Thank you to Kira, Jan, Sam and Nick. We completely enjoyed our evening. The food , service, and ambiance was absolutely perfect. Alex and I thank you for everything.
While I haven't been able to dine-in at Era 67 (thanks covid) since I first went on a first date 9 years ago we had the pleasure of enjoying their take home Valentines and Christmas dinners! The valentine's beef wellington, potatoes and vegetables we're AMAZING!! Everything came vacuum sealed with basic cooking instructions that were easy to follow and ensured I could not mess it up! Both times I have ordered chef Nick has been flexible and accommodating with dairy/gluten free options and because my husband is a picky eater also didn't think twice before subbing out apps for us! We can't wait to dine-in soon but until then takeout will be a staple!!
Eat there on a Sunday evening. We were a large party of 12 celebrating a Bday. Food was so salty, I could not even finish my meal. Definitely overpriced for the quality. Found out next day 9 of the party became sick that evening, most with stomach cramps and diarrhea. It is obvious from the reviews that the restaurant is on the decline. Save your money and pain, there are so many other places in Orillia to eat and avoid any potential suffering.
romantic place
Outstanding service, food and drinks. The staff and owners went way out of their way to treat our company event so very well. We've been before and it was great, tonight was particularly special, this is the best fine dining restaurant we have had the pleasure in this whole region. I cannot say enough good things about ERA 67 , i highly recommend it. Well done , you should be proud of yourselves for all you did for us tonight. Like opening up on your night off. My goodness we so appreciate your service and great food. Doug
. They had 2 days to order & plan the menu. We saw a few changes during the 2 days before we went. Great patio, inside not accessible. Staff was fantastic, menu was well rounded, with something for most everyone. Well prepared, nicely presented, tasted wonderful. CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!!!
Era 67 came to our rescue when our daughter's reception plans were suddenly changed due to new Covid-19 restrictions. Era 67, particularly Sam, was very accommodating by providing a dry dining experience on their patio, serving delicious meals, and giving very hospitable service for our small group of wedding guests. Sam worked extra hard to help make this a special experience and from first contact to the end, she kept in excellent communication with us. All of this was provided with only one day's notice before the wedding. We are very grateful to Era 67 and to Sam for helping to make our daughter and son-in-law's day very special and we highly recommend them.
Love Cory!
Incredible!! Highly recommend this beautiful restaurant. Great atmosphere, very warm staff and Chef Nick is on point!! We had their garlic white wine cream sauce mussels to start, perfection. My main, the stuffed portobello mushroom with a side of scallops, delicious. And my husband had the Chef's Special which was a surf and turf featuring a Ribeye, shrimp, blackened garlic mash, veg and au just/gravy dip, amazing. Everything was cooked to perfection, we will definitely be back soon!! Thank you for making our night Corey and Chef Nick ???????????????? Also all covid precautions were taken to make us feel safe.
A great staple restaurant, excellent food and prompt friendly service. We enjoyed Lamb Shank for dinner, the meat fell off the bone !! Only one disappointment; no Canadian wines are offered on the menu.
Meal type
The food was good and the waiters were super friendly, however, we had to wait a long time between courses and the lights kept flickering.
Excellent food and service.
Our server was great.. Its too bad it was backed up with mediocre appetizers. And an hour wait between apps and our dinner. Only to get dry crumbly mashed potatos and either a dried out over cooked steak or under cooked steak depending on who you were at the table. Deffinitly would not return or recomend. I was expecting a much better experience.
Excellent food, excellent service! This has been our go-to restaurant since it opened. Many a special occasion dinner was had here and we have never been disappointed. Highly recommended!
Prime rib very fatty. But service and ambiance great. They went out of there way to accommodate us. I tried to make a reservation but they were booked at the time we wanted. They had a cancellation and called us an hour before our designated time time to fit us in. Now that is customer service.
Fantastic food, great gumbo and the best ribs
It was the folk festival and the restaurant was empty. Our server ( Darla) was great and really the reason we didnt get mad. The food was no good. Darla was doing everything possible to handle the fact dinners came out individually and in fact the reason we were there was for my mother in law 80th bday and she was the very LAST one to receive? We as a group felt so bad for Darla who was doing everything she could! 1 group of 13 in a empty restaurant for a very special occasion ???? for Darla ???? for the food and time it took whoever's was in the kitchen that day!
It ok not bad but not I got to run to try it
Had an amazing dinner...the service was wonderful and the food delicious
My first time there tonight. Excellent service. Atmosphere is quaint and elegant.. Food amazing!!!!!!
Saturday. Night no Air conditioning. The place was. Very Hot terrible customer service so we left they did not care at all that we left . Not recommended
Service and dinner was great!
Wonderful food and great service. Well-spaced tables and attention to covid precautions.
We’ve been lucky enough to eat here twice this past summer. Both times, the food and service was absolutely superb. Looking forward to visiting again! I’ve had the lamb (melt in your mouth), and the salmon (delicious and cooked perfectly). The Brie stix appetizer is not to be missed!!! Yummm!
This was a First for me- I've eaten all over the globe- but never had I had my paid dinner stolen from me via missing food in my take-home bag.. I ate probably a quarter of my dinner and to my shock when I opened up the take-away container the next day most of my food was missing! Unreal. I was so mad. Yeah- that's just shady move Era 67. Bad form.
We stopped in for dinner a couple of weeks ago, 1st time in a few years. The food was pretty disappointing this time. The salad was good, the rest was not great. Price would not be bad if the food quality was there. Would not recommend :(
What a fabulous meal! We can't wait to go back. Highly recommend it!
We so enjoyed ourselves on the patio this evening! Sam L was an absolute blast; she looked after us with care and humor, and really added to our positive experience. OK, the mussels? Best I've had in eons! Going out in Summer 2020 is a little more challenging than in the past but Era 67 has created a safe, comfortable atmosphere. Thank you, Sam and Era 67!
Such a wonderful atmosphere, beautiful patio and fantastic food. The service was great and the variety offered on the menu (both food and drinks) was unique. Makes for an intimate lunch/dinner at a great value.
Amazing fine dining!!! Excellent servers! Great prices for the quality and quantity! Great place to take a date.
Food is very, very good...thanks.
Delicious!!!
Visited your establishment yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed our steak which was cooked to perfection. Service was very good. Will definitely return.
