Five stars for staff and service. Wonderful bunch of people! However, the food just wasn’t hitting it for my party’s palette. The burger despite being medium rare was a little tough. Flavours were lacking for all of us.

Reflecting service in a rating is difficult. A large group with a late sitting can experience a longer dinner than desirable. In this instance a 4.5 star rating would be appropriate as Richmond Station's reputation for sensational food is well deserved and outshines any modest delays. Cod, Steak Tartare, Steak , Duck Pate on Brioche - all shone through. A revisit of both restaurant and review must take place

My wife and I came here for our anniversary dinner and found the service and experience amazing. We got the tasting menu and found every course delicious and at $80, a great value. We loved that everything was locally sourced and the meat butchered in house. I must mention again how fantastic the staff is here and how welcoming they are. Overall, we had a wonderful meal here and will definitely be back.

Had an amazing experience here for a celebratory dinner. We ordered an appetizer, two mains and a dessert and they were all amazing. I appreciated that you could have a fine dining experience at a reasonable price. I also really liked the kitchen table option, as I love to watch and learn how a high-end kitchen works, and makes for good entertainment/dinner conversation. However I was most impressed by the service and their willingness to support my dietary needs. I don't have any allergies, but felt apprehensive going out to eat as my doctor has put me on a restricted diet. Our server and the kitchen followed all my restrictions and made recommendations to ensure my meal still tasted good, and never made it feel like a burden. Will definitely return!

Made a date night to come into Toronto from Guelph as my gf has been talking about Richmond Station since we started dating. I didn't have huge expectations as current lockdowns limit the menu selection. Every bite is a taste bud orgasm. From my soup to my salad to my main dish... No dessert was needed as I was beyond satisfied. 10 stars!!!

We really wanted to like this restaurant. The service was great and we enjoyed a few things off of the tasting menu. However the overall experience was underwhelming. It was very loud but that's to be expected on a busy Friday night. We really enjoyed the canapés, pasta course, the beef main course and the bread. Everything else wasn't that impressive. The tartare wasn't seasoned and the julienned radishes didn't really do anything for the dish. Our least favorite dish was the carrot. It was just a carrot with some accompaniments but really was just a carrot. It was perfectly cooked, I'll give it that. We added on the burger since it's their signature and it was delicious. The dessert was forgettable. It was later in the evening and the kitchen was slammed but for $300 we expected better.

Update: Chef’s tasting menu is one of the most worth tasting menu available in Toronto. Fantastic. I’ve been here countless times before and during covid. Their food is always great. The burger is great but I also do Suggest you try other items as well such as the meatball. Overall this place has a great vibe, and one of the most consistent amazing service. Every single time I have been here, I felt fantastic.

Really enjoyed the dining experience here. Cocktails were bomb, including the old fashion. Food was great, including the cod and rosemary fries. Staff was friendly and attentive. What more could you ask for. It is a bit on the pricier side which matches the quality of food. I do appreciate that they factor tipping into the prices so there is no tipping at the end of the meal and you know what you are paying for when the bill arrives.

Great dining experience. We ordered the liver parfait which was decadent and flavourful and scallop crudo which was buttery and sweet. The halibut was a bit dry however the chanterelle chicken sauce they poured over it was really delicious and the charred lettuce was a good compliment to the dish. The burger is one of the best in the city cooked med rare. The servers are very attentive and overall a great dining experience.

One of my favorites in the city by far. If you can book at the chefs table, I would highly recommend. Last time I was there we had the duck liver pâté, beef tartare, station burger, and Muscovy duck. The food was all flavorful and very fresh. A bit on the pricy side but worth it in the long run as the food is amazing.

We had the chef’s tasting menu. Overall, their food just had some soul. Thats how i would describe it. The canapes, beet salad, pumpkin macaroni were crazy delicious. Highlight being the carrot soup. Cannot wait to be back!

My work had an event with Richmond Station where we all picked up a container of ingredients from the restaurant, and then had an online session with the executive chef to cook them. It was amazing. The food was delicious and I learned so much! I really enjoyed the experience and have new found tips for browning mushrooms. The only concern was that the vegetarian option was not quite as good as the non-veg option.

Sat at the Chefs table overlooking the kitchen with my girl. Great meal, enjoyed watching the kitchen work and liked how they described each dish. No tipping,…. Living wage for all employees. Very cool. One of the best chocolate desserts ever.

Easily has become one of my favourite Toronto restaurants. From the small storefront to the moment you walk in to realize it goes deep in and with two different seating areas...it changes the atmosphere as well. The staff here are great, responsive, knowledgeable and friendly. The kitchen team..outstanding. It is on the pricier side but the care and selection of the dishes are well thought out. With the tasting menu and at the chefs table..it was the best way to understand the food and see the work behind it. The food is absolutely delicious with a lot of flavours and textures (the most important part I found which made them stand out more). They were also very accomodating with allergies and courteous about it.

Richmond Station has been one of our favourite dining experiences in the city for many years. Their menu always offers exactly what we're craving, not to mention the food quality and flavour never disappoints. A very consistent experience, always. We of course prefer dining in, however, as a result of COVID, we have enjoyed takeout to satisfy our Richmond Station cravings.

It's always a great experience here. This time they outdid themselves catering to multiple food sensitivities with no hesitation. They very willingly made suggestions as to what would work for me and adjusted the menu making it seem effortless and a pleasure to be of service. We drove all the way from Mississauga on a snowy day to celebrate a special occasion and it was well worth the drive! First thing I love about this place is it’s not pretentious. Very friendly staff made us feel right at home. Ryan attended our table. He was patient and went back and forth to speak to the chef and recommended us filling options in spite of our dietary restrictions (vegetarian, allergic to egg). We appreciate how they made sure we have a great dining experience overall. Food was delicious, portion size is great. Farmer’s Ricotta (my photo doesn't do justice) is a must try. It is so rich and creamy, you can lick the bowl! We asked if we can order a pre-dessert from the tasting menu and they gladly accommodated our request. London fog Blood orange was subtle and simply divine! Overall great vibe and it’s a perfect place for casual date night. Thanks for the great food and excellent service! We intend to visit again!

There charcuterie board and cheese boards were still delightful and had such a good variety of flavors. I also really liked everything that accompanied it. The duck liver mousse was so smooth and satiny And the scallops and curry with cauliflower were cooked perfectly somehow and the curry was flavourful without being overpowering. The cavatelli with a hen of the woods mushrooms was fabulous. This was probably my favourite part of this specific meal. They also were doing beautiful bottle cocktails I got the milk punch. If you've never had milk punch I highly suggest you try it. It sounds really strange but they are such delicious cocktails and I love how they're clear yet have a certain roundness to them on account of the milk.

A sublime and memorable tasting menu dinner experience. My party and I were fortunate enough to be seated in the semi private dining room, perfect for a group or 12. We were delighted with various tasting plates, all carefully crafted. Service was top notch with great attention to detail presented in a professional yet casual manner. Well worth the experience!!!

Every single time I come it's great service, exceptional food, and just an amazing, spot-on, 10/10 experience. We recently did the chef's tasting menu - smashing is one way to put it. A definite home run. I've not had my tastebuds be that excited for a very very long time... My partner and I were just taken for a ride from light and whimsical to the peak of salty and substantial. For $105 each, I think it was fair.. Especially since this is a hospitality included restaurant. Coat check service was complimentary, we were given fudge to end the meal.. so many over the top, exceptional things. From just a burger, to a tasting menu.. I think we'll be back for different things, different events and celebrations.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Some of the best service in the city (service included brings some amazing people, and should be the future of all establishments). Had the chef's menu and was thoroughly impressed. Nothing was too inaccessible in terms of plating or flavours, but it was elevated and a well designed meal. Proportions were spot on for each course, not too small but enough to get a chance to savour each course without getting full. Will return, hopefully regularly!

We visited this restaurant during the weekend and the outdoor patio was very nice. Our servers were very attentive and nice as well. However, we did wait 30 mins for each course to arrive even though we had put in all the orders at the beginning of our arrival. The food was decent, I really liked the pasta but the burger was just okay.

Every meal there has been a hit. Definitely recommend doing the chef's menu - so much value for your money and you'll leave full. Also, tips are discouraged (as they pay their staff more than minimum wage), so all prices are just that plus tax, which is great!

Great food, Excellent Service! Richmond station is one of my Top 10 favourite restaurants in Toronto. They have the best ingredient and excellent hospitality. Every dish has its unique flavours and is presented very beautifully! Each week their chefs curate a unique Multi-Course Menu. I have tried their chef menu a few times and every time was great! They also offer beverage pairings for Chef’s menu. It's a good deal! If you love drinking, you shouldn’t miss it! ‼️The unique thing about Richmond Station is that they are a Hospitality Included restaurant! That means the prices we see in the menu include the cost of service!!! Isn't it a great idea? So, We don't have to think about how much we have to leave tips for the service and we know exactly how much we have to pay for the meal. Besides, their employees get paid well and don’t have to rely on the tips to survive! If you plan to visit, I would recommend you make a reservation ahead of time, especially when you have a party of over six people!

An excellent choice for corporate dinners or team lunches. The staff is warm and welcoming, and go to extra lengths to ensure that you’re satisfied with the meal. The menu for the mains isn’t very extensive, but the quality and presentation was great. They also offer a vegetarian and vegan menu.

Amazing Food, friendly eager-to-help service, down to earth day-to-day decor. Excellent place for the food savvy who's looking for a casual lunch. Booked 2 days in advance for a Friday lunch, party of 5 (3 children). Place is kids friendly, though the food is complicated, mind you - not all children will like that. Waiter went out of his way to make sure kids are pleased (for example, sugered up the lemonade when one kid said it's too sour) Decor is homey and too sophisticated, but creates nice casual lunch atmosphere. Was pleasant and allowed for conversation. The food is extraordinary. Sophisticated and seasoned properly. Good products. Dishes are not big, so adjust your expectations. Prices are on the upper scale, but the place offered a prefixed menu for $24. Would highly recommend for a casual lunch (wasn't there for dinner) if you're into excellent food and are willing to pay a bit more.

Incredibly impressed with this restaurant, they asked about allergies when booking over the phone and the staff confirmed with is at the table. My partner is celiac and lactose intollerante, his friend has a severe nut allergy and I am a vegan. There isn't a wide variety for Vegans but the leek and chickpea burger was flavour full. We had no issues with the meal. My partner had the scollops and duck, his friend had the beef tartar and the salmon. Everyone was very pleased with their dishes. Highly recommend this restaurant. I was even offered their bread as I did not order a starter. Staff were incredibly helpful, food was delicious. Mocktail was nice (mis-thinderstood). However the bathrooms are nice but small so if you have a baby you will be changing on the floor. I will note staff did not make me feel uncomfortable for having a baby in their restaurant. Well deserved five stars and I would give more if I could

We've had Richmond station twice - on New Year's Eve and just last night. We were extremely impressed with the quality, flavour, creativity and presentation with each and every dish on both occasions. It is quickly becoming our favourite restaurant in the city. At the moment, our go to dishes are the Brassica Caesar Salad, Polenta Fries, Nicola Potato Agnolotti and any of their desserts, they are all exceptional. Still haven't tried the station burger or rosemary fries - may give them a try next time. Exceptional food. Friendly and accommodating staff. Highly, highly recommended. Five stars.

This is by far my most favourite restaurant in Toronto. It's the welcoming atmosphere that I love about the restaurant the most. I especially love sitting at the kitchen table watching the chefs cook. They ALWAYS make such perfect cooked fish as well. I'm glad to see on my recent visit that they were back to full capacity!

Excellent chef's menu and good food quality for the price. Staff was attentive throughout the night but our waiter missed putting in our order for drinks later into the evening. I also opted for a wine pairing which was phenomenal! But for one pairing, I was literally told, "this is a classic Red wine." Nothing else was said and I was left feeling a little disappointed that I wasn't told anything about the characteristics.

Only tasting menu I've ever tried but so worth it. I love that it's a good way to try new dishes without getting a full portion. Their house baked breads are really good and the burgers are super juicy. It is a different experience every time I go but that's the fun part. You can try the fixed menu or tasting :) a good date night option if you're looking for something fun.

We had the chefs menu and it was OK. Service was great and the dishes were very creative. It was seafood forward, I really enjoyed the vegetarian parts, the zucchini soup and carrots were delicious. Dessert was another hit and it all paired well with our wine. I've heard the burgers here are amazing, will be back.

The tasting menu was amazing in taste and presentation; definitely worth the price! For 9 unique courses, it was surprisingly filling. The chefs gave us a brief summary about each course, and they were all very polite! The owner of the restaurant even approached us during our dinner; a very outgoing, talented, and friendly man! Best in Toronto! The staff are wonderful and attentive while the patio menu is accessible with comfortable offerings like a burger so dinner here does not have to be something that is intimidating. However, as we were celebrating, we opted for the seasonal tasting menu. In doing so, we completely entrusted our evening to the team; we were so glad we did! Each course was absolutely gorgeous to experience with the senses and the photos hardly do the dishes justice. We loved that the components in each dish demonstrated thoughtful consideration to bring a balanced interplay of acidity, texture, and flavour profiles. The pace and rhythm throughout was perfect and at no time did we feel rushed or wanting. Though they had an extensive wine list, we opted for a cocktail. In this case an intriguing Clarified English Milk Punch. This is the perfect kind of drink to order as it is something we would never be able to make at home (look it up... it is so much work). It was delicious from the first intense sip to the last drops. I was extremely pleased to find that the dilution from the ice did not leave the last bit of the drink a sad watery affair as most iced drinks can become. This is the second time that I have come to this restaurant with my wife. We wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary with something special. Indeed, we were not disappointed and we are already looking forward to the next time we are back!

Came here tonight and did the rotating chef's menu, while seated at the chef's table. It was amazing! The courses were well thought out and put together, by far my favorite course was the scallops. Both the presentation and the flavor were incredible. The menu comes with a wine pairing, however I did not partake. I did order two cocktails, the Walnut Old Fashion and a Paper Plane. Both were great, well balanced and easy to drink! On top of the food, the service was great, the whole staff made sure that the entire experience was flawless. To the Chef, tonight was amazing, thank you! If you have the time, get a dinner booked at Richmond Station, they are back in a big way!
