Honestly the Pür&Simple next door was our initial plan, but the 25-30 min wait to seat a group of 6 was not ideal. Walked in, did our proof of vaccination and had beer and food withing those 30 min. Staff are attentive and quick and the food was good! Only gripe was they didn't have much beer on tap due to certain kegs being out but no biggie!

Super amazing service! Had an amazing new years eve dinner. I was a little upset with my steak and the server immediately took it away and gave me a new one without question. I'm not sure what our servers name was but she was blond and had a new years crown on :) Would definitely come back again ????

Horrific. Dont ever think that chicken wings which are called 'roasters' on the menu refer to Roasted versus Fried (by the way, the roasters are set against the 'fryers' on the same menu). They are ALL deep fried. And probably 500mg/salt per wing. All seasoning options. It dosent matter. And the manager Lucas will consciously make you feel like youre an idiot and say he's never heard of this misinterpretation before, it must be my imagination... then he'll throw his server staff under the bus for not explaining things properly. No. Your menu is misleading and unclear. And you cannot tell me that no one has been misled by this poor word choice before. Everything on this menu, even the grilled vegetables.. Have so much salt that its unpalatable. The only salvageable thing here, worth mentioning, is the poor waitress whose OWN manager DIDNT have her back. Honestly I have never seen staff thrown to the wolves like that in the interest of defending the company, especially given how illogical the whole thing was. Im still starving. Never going back, just cant trust an establishment where (I am seeing below) this dude is the GM and he had no use for feedback, logic, or.. Respect for his own employee. She, was an absolute GEM.

Great Restaurant! I loved the ambiance inside and it felt like a high-end restaurant and bar. Also, the food was great. I got the blackened bass with Yukon gold lobster mashed potatoes and vegetables. The presentation of the food when it came out was excellent and the taste was even better. The price of the food is descent as well as it matches the quality of food. I will certainly be back again!

Our family loves turtle jacks but unfortunately my daughter got food poisoning from something we ate last night at the Oakville location. Turtle jacks was my daughters pick for her birthday and she was throwing up all night. She had Caesar salad, Shirley temple and french fries. Hopefully this was just a fluke but she’s not going to rush back.

Our first time in the oakville one and it was awesome! Patricia / Principessa was adorable - very thoughtful, warm and perceptive service - lovely menu for kids - even offered a healthy snack for the kid on the table. Extremely pleasant - food hot and just right. Butter tart was a recommendation and definitely worth it. Would definitely go again for food and service super super - highly recommended!!!

I ordered a New York Chicken meal. The chicken was breaded(not written in the menu). I asked for the mash potatoes to be replaced by vegetables, 2/3strands of runner beans might have been added. Taste=0. Would have been better off walking across to KFC and purchasing a 2piece chicken meal, at less than half the cost. Dinner ruined. Highly un-recommendable. 1 star for the takeaway bowl.

Food was pretty good. Split the French onion soup, wasn't browned on top, Caesar salad was good but did not reflect the price. Ribs were ok as well but left wanting more. Also asked to course out our meal and mid way thru apps, the entree was on the table. The 3 stars comes from the cleanliness of the restaurant, no paper towels in the men's (which smelled like urine) and the women's, also the lack of speedy fun service.

There is a table which is right at the kitchen entrance and right next to the computer that all the servers use. You would think this would be the LAST table to seat people at but no, that's where the hostess brought us. When I asked if there was another table, I was told we could pick this one or one next to it. Looking at 10 empty tables that were well away from this spot, I wondered if we should instead go next door. We ended up with a fantastic server and a great meal but TJ needs to train their hostesses better. I know there is a system to fairly distribute customers to servers but when a customer asks for a different table they should be more flexible.

Went there for Superbowl night and had an awesome time with a big crowd of my friends. Some excellent service from the staff with great giveaways for the occasion. Had the blackened chicken sandwich which was a very good choice and got a very good vibe from the rest of the crowd in regards to the food and appy's. Definitely worth the time to check it out.

I called the restaurant and the manager said to deal with Uber like it was them who made the mistake and not the restaurant. We go to turtle Jack's a lot as our children love their kids menu. I'll keep this brief and focus on this location. - Excellent Service - Food was just okay. Other TJ's locations have better food. Chicken was dry. - Washroom cleanliness. Disgusting. Smelly, urine on the floor, bathroom flies. Just gross. - No toys or treats for kids anymore due to Covid. Other locations still offer treats for the kids. Kids were pretty disappointed about this.

Gave them a 5 star for the way they handled a power outage situation. Went to have dinner and there was a thunderstorm that knocked out the power while there. They were very organized and arranged for us to take away out order while compensating us for the inconvenience. Btw the food was really good. Kudos to the young ladies that work there.

I enjoyed this restaurant a lot, and the food portions are quite large and have lots of options available to accommodate many different dietary needs. I wanted to give this place a 5 but I feel that this restaurant trys to be a Muskoka Grill, but not a lot of the food is sourced from Muskoka. For example, trout is a common fish type of the area, but it isn't on the menu. I will return and enjoy the open patio, and see what menu items they add in the future. It is also in a great location, easy to get to, good amount of free parking, and kitchen makes your food in a decent amount of time.

This is my goto place for dinner. Love sitting at the bar and chatting with Andrea. Food is always consistent and they are happy to customize it your way. I wish I could give a zero but had to give a one to write my review. What was supposed to be a fun evening turned horrible real quick. Started with our server having serious attitude towards us when she got to the table. I ordered a sparkling water and riesling, my sisters got Long Island Ice Teas (we got id even though we are over 35) I’ll take it as a compliment. She brings the drink minus my sparkling water. I asked where the water was and Elena/ Alana ( don’t know the spelling) thought I changed my mind even though I said nothing but also went to say I didn’t realize you were having both. If I asked for both I want both. another table walked in and they looked much younger than us but no one was ID.i summed the night up to she was racist and we will not be going back. If someone wants to reach out to me from head office please do so. We left and did not pay for anything.never been so disgusted by someone’s attitude and demeanour. She is in the wrong industry.

Went to this location to celebrate my husband's birthday...just the two of us. I did speak with the waitress and told her that it was his birthday and she said that she would bring something out to celebrate. Food was really good! Once we were done she gave us the bill. She totally forgot about the birthday. Went to speak with her about it after we paid and she admits that she forgot. Well I will forget to go to this location ever Again! We have hardly ventured out and the one time we do to celebrate a nice occasion it turns out to be not so nice ..... I have now e mailed the owner and have received no reply.....I guess they don't care

I have been there several times since the new management has reopened the place. The renovations are very cosmopolitan and would fit in well in Toronto or Liberty Village. Great addition to Oakville. Food is superb for a Muskoka grill with a wide variety of unique menu items with a lot of interesting fusion flavours along with standards like pasta and wings. Great for business meetings, sports events, team meals or just a drink with friends. Outdoor patio with its comfortable lounge furniture is great for summer evenings. Big screen tv's with the Golf Channel is a plus. Well worth the drive for me. Should be a no brainer for anyone living in Oakville, Mississauga, Milton or Burlington.

Worst restaurant experience we have ever had... ever. We had a reservation and were on time. It took over 40 minutes before our food order was taken, by this time our drinks were already long done. It took over one hour to receive our meal. By the time the food arrived we were grossly dismayed to find the hunter chicken dish didn't have any chicken on it! Then the chicken parmesan came out raw, not cooked at all, in fact it was so raw it was gooey as if they cooked it from frozen but only for a second and didn't bother to check. Then after showing this to the waiter we waited yet again for our food to be cooked, and actually cooked this time. And by the time we got it we took take out because we were there nearly two hours and then we were slapped in the face with a shallow apology and a few 10 dollar meal vouchers which need to be used individually on orders of 30 dollars or more at a future time. Yay...? Oh and just to put icing on the top of this marvelous experience our bill was screwed up and we were charged for items we didn't order, and not charged for items we did. If anyone wants to have these food vouchers take em.. we are never going back to this restaurant.

Usually enjoy for family meal. Took the gang for wings and nachos and first period of Leafs game. Wings were microscopic and paid 25 bucks for a bag of tostitos with lettuce and a cheese-like sauce. Was willing to settle in and have a few beers at the bar and let the kids graze. We all left hungry after spending $125 bucks. Stick to kids menu or go somewhere else with a family.

My friend and I love this restaurant. We go to Turlte Jacks alot not only in Oakville but Mississauga and Burlington. Love the food and the atmospher. Today we left another restaurant to go to Turltle Jacks for our tea and dessert because of the sticky toffee pudding. WELL we were told that it will no longer be on the menu and today was the last day. We were so shocked and upset. What are you thinking. You have THE BEST pudding I have ever tasted. I've been to this location a couple times, the most recent was for NYE 2014. I had 3 other friends with me, and we had the most amazing server. If I could remember her name, I'd tell everyone to ask for her. She was very attentive, joked with us, brought out appetizers on time, made recommendations, and even up-sold us on a dessert. After we left and headed to the nearby Fionn's McCools (which needs some improvements), we realized just how amazing her service was. Can't wait to go back!

Came in with a friend around 10pm for a quick bite to eat. My order came out fine, my friends however did not. He ordered a sandwich and requested no tomatoes. Sure enough, the sandwich came with tomatoes, after having the manager come over and explain the situation, he told us that there was no tomatoes on the sandwich when he brought it out and assured us there had been no tomatoes on it. He made it out to seem like we brought our own tomatoes and placed them on the sandwich. He discounted the bill $3 even though my friend refused to eat the food. When my friend tried to order a different item, they told him the kitchen was closed so he had to eat the previous sandwich or nothing. I have never had a manager act so rude to myself as a customer, and in all honesty, was in complete shock. He was very rude and raised his voice to us. I tried to speak with him one last time about the situation on my way out and he refused to talked to me and told me I must leave immediately. This is not how you deal with customers. Hope this guy loses his job and never works another day in the service industry again.

Half priced apps after 9 makes the prices unbeatable. The Muskoka feel of the restaurant is very relaxing, the TV's near the bar allow patrons to watch various sports. Quality restraunt for sure.

As of their reopening, I am a definite regular at this fine establishment. The food is outstanding, wait staff courteous, and the atmosphere (televisions with sports playing aside) is wonderful! ...though, I wouldn't mind the televisions gone. They're just so out of place.

I've been here a few times and the restaurant is okay. I've been to other locations and expected the food to be the same everywhere. Last time I was here it was okay but not as good as other locations. Don't know if it was just that one time but wasn't overly impressed. I have had good food here just wish they were consistent.

Thought I wrote this review... But ok Google here it is again. Superb. Portions are great. Prices are great. Staff friendly. Second time here so it means we like. If you like sign up for points card. Today for second visit got a free app ($15). And each dollar saves you like other department store value cards but food. Beer glasses chilled. Nice touch. The skor desert is HUGE and delicious. Get it if you have room or more than 2 helpers. This meal this time we had chicken tacos, good but chicken could be fresher, rest of the flavours are bold to make up. Wife enjoyed her onion burger and the Swiss cheese. I had open sausage melt and was quite satisfied, perfect. First time don't remember but it was good we went back poor Google for forgetting. so Updates: Been here a few more times, once with friends forgot meals. Today had penne cheese, delicious. Wife had salmon and enjoyed it. Guacamole dip great Chicken rolls good but sauce tooooooo sweet. And fire and ice. I prefer this over scor brownie (smaller and much more doable with 2 people).

I've been here twice now with parties of 5 or so, and the food has been consistently sub par. First time I was there I ordered a beef dip sandwich, (usually a safe bet) the bread was far too soft, less like a crusty baguette and closer to a dinner roll (granted it was ciabata), it was terrible and soggy for dipping into the au jus, which was extremely thin and flavorless. The second time I got a turkey and goat cheese on naan... This might have been on me, but I had hoped it would be grilled meat, and instead the wrap was 90% turkey cold cut stuck together with aoli and a light sprinkling of arugala sprigs. It came out of the kitchen ice cold beside a small cup of starchy fries. Between everyone at the table we ordered a lot of variety of dishes and none of us were impressed. In my opinion Turtle Jack's should invest in a panini press. Who expects a $17 sandwich at a nice restaurant to be cold cuts on naan straight out the bag? I could make both of the meals I ordered much better at home and without much effort. I will cap it off to say that the ambience and decor are quite nice, and the servers were fine.

This place never disappoints.. A drinks with friends or a dinner date with family this is an amazing spot for any kind of night. Love their food, patio and ambiance. The servers are very friendly and accommodating. The food is great specially their selection of wings. Blackened chicken on rice is my favorite.

I’m not sure what’s happened since the reopening, but this location used to be on point with delivery/takeout and was the go-to place for my wife and I. However, over the past couple weeks it’s been slipping. A skip the dishes order was made wrong, and an order I placed over the phone (to make sure the order was right) never got actually got entered, forcing me to wait an additional 40 minutes for my order. I truly hope management has some critical conversations with their staff to address this, because I would bet I’m not the only one having these issues.

This location used to a Irish Pub, and completely remodeled, very nicely. The baby rib is still the highlight, but they really pay attention to small details of other dishes. My beef barley soup, coming as a side of sandwich, is super, cooked to perfection. The quinoa arugula salad is fresh and flavorful and surprisingly filling. The Garden Burger is also good, though the Fries not impressive: recommend choosing a different side.

Stopped by for a couple of beers to watch Game 1 off Jays vs Rangers. Bartenders, looked pretty miserable. They need some personality. Game sound was too low despite a request to turn it up they didn't. Didn't offer menu for food, took a long time to get acknowledged on arrival and to get a 2nd beer. They don't chat up the Custer's, very little engagement by the bar staff. Food (burger) was very good. Nice looking place but I would try somewhere else if I wanted to watch a game.

Great place to be when you're watching the game or just want a great patio to hang out on. While offering pub-style dishes, they still have a wide variety of food options. While the rest of my group ordered the pub classics, I ordered the cajun chicken which came with grilled veggies and Spanish rice. I found it to be a food bang for your buck ($21) because of the generous two pieces of chicken it came with. Clean washrooms. Staff could have been more present.

Very disappointed. We waited one hour to get out dinner. It was not busy. In the meantime, 20 orders went out for Uber Eats or Skip the Dishes. Clearly, they only care about outgoing orders. I ordered the streak...it was tough. Ate it anyways...if I complained I probably would have had to wait another hour to get another one. Won't be returning to this location.

Please be careful here if you have food allergies! I went for dinner last night and let staff know I have celiac disease. Nina the owner is very friendly and on the premises almost every time I go in there. There is a manager fellow who's pretty much there all the time too. A bald-headed gentleman. They run a tight ship. Things are done right every time. It's a well-oiled machine. It's impossible to get out of there without someone in charge coming by to check to make sure you're satisfied. . They've got a pretty solid menu compared to their direct competitors. Lots of fresh ingredients for a big chain restaurant.

Service was mediocre but the dining area was nice and clean. The quality of their food was pretty poor. Two of us from our party ordered the bison burger and it was disappointing. The patty was small and very thick, and was way overcooked and burnt. The chicken fingers from the kid's menu was severely overseasoned, even for my own tastes. To salvage the meal, I had to peel off the breading to save something for my child to eat. The server saw this but didn't bother asking how everything was. We had called ahead and was misinformed that kids ate free with each adult entrée. When we mentioned this when we received our bill, the manager admitted we were misinformed and only one kid could eat free per table, but didn't do anything else about it.

I usually don't post reviews but after visiting the Mississauga location on two occasions decided to try Oakville for dinner. Overall would rate a C+. Food is average quality, menu is limited and dessert options are very limited. Staff is great and ambience is modern.
