Right now the firm gets a score of 4.3 stars over 5 and the rating was based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is high, and it's founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we can conclude that the rating is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they are happy, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to place scores when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant belongs to the category of Restaurant.
The owner was very accommodating and modified my order even though it wasn’t a part of the menu. Excellent customer service.

Good crepes but a little pricey for this quality.
My favourite brunch spot!
Best Crepe
If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
Had the spanish and 88 dunn st crepe. Came here a couple times for dessert crepe. 88 dunn st was a delicious meal but I prefer the dessert crepes a little more. The staff is always so friendly and the mood is nice. Definitely one of the little gems in Oakville downtown you need to try!
This place is ok. It's been a while since I've been there cause I was never really satisfied when I left.
Excellent breakfast, loved the crepes and the coffee, service was excellent Would absolutely recommend and be visiting again for sure. Tried the Ivan's way, family run place with a personal touch and a warm and inviting feel.
Excellent food quality and good service. Generous portion sizes justify the slightly higher pricing. Very nicely located for a pleasant meal.
All crepes I tried are delicious.
Good, decadent crepes. Nice atmoy, very attentive. It's more of a brunch/lunch place, so don't expect dinner hours.
A most try place. Delicious food.
The service was fast and simple; the food was really good.
The best French Pressed coffee and savoury crepes. My personal favorites are Charlie’s Choice and for dessert, it’s Nutella with Banana and Strawberry. The place has a very homey feel and ambience. People are very friendly and the service was so fast. Will be back soon as lockdown has been lifted
Our experience mirrors that of many of the other 1 star reviews. The staff is unfriendly and the owner is the rudest, most miserable SOB I've ever had the misfortune of wasting my time and money on. I understand why they make you pay when you order. I imagine that people would walk out on their bill or at the very least, NOT TIP. Expect to pay $12-$18 for a single crepe, get ignored by the staff after they bring your food, have the owner glare at you while you eat, occasionally reprimand guests for being too loud and swoop in to collect your dishes when he decides that you're done. Disgusting.
Very delicious food, nice atmosphere very warm service, I don’t need to go Québec anymore to enjoy nice Crepe
Always a treat. Great cozy place.
I could rate this minus 5 I would do so!! I visited this place for the first time with out-of-town friends. My friends were waiting for me at a table outside. I immediately noticed that the patio was overcrowded. The mandatory 6-ft COVID-19 distance was ignored. When my friends and I decided that we preferred going elsewhere, a fellow, not sure whether he is a waiter or a manager (but if he is a manager he has much to learn about customer service) named "Edoardo," began complaining about the fact that we chose to leave. He complained that he had been holding the table for us for half an hour. My friend graciously offered to compensate him for his trouble, he ignored her and complained rather loudly in front of other customers. Everyone turned around to see what the fuss was about. I didn't bother to tell Edoardo that CUSTOMERS HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE where they wish to eat or have coffee. I also didn't bother to tell him that CUSTOMERS MUST BE TREATED WITH RESPECT and in a way that shows that a business owner shows that he respects the customers' decision to go elsewhere, that he is sorry to see them go, and at the same time he invites them to "come back!" Working or running an eatery isn't enough Edoardo, you need customer service skills. You don't raise your voice and treat respectable people like criminals when they politely decide that they'd rather go to a less crowded place, especially during COVID-19!!!! The customers Edoardo mistreated are two well-mannered, well-meaning seniors who did absolutely nothing wrong. Edoardo, in case you haven't understood by now, you need to learn some manners when doing business with people. You are not dealing with criminals, gangsters or shady characters. You are dealing with the public, with customers who want to give you their business. And by the way, we are under COVID-19 and there are bylaws that impose a 6-foot distance. Whey are your patio tables so crammed that you can barely circulate between tables??? We will never set foot in the Crepe Kitchen again! We don't give our business to business owners who don't understand the basic principles of customer service and dealing with the public in a civil manner!
Go to brunch restaurant in Oakville. The employees, the quaint space and the food makes this a go to in town. Whether you want a sweet or savoury crepes, the options are endless and each is fantastic. Every crepe is made to perfection, and the salad dressing alone is delicious. The employees truly make you feel welcome from the first step inside the door. Very impressed how they were handling everything with the COVID restrictions and expanded patio. Already excited for my next visit.
Great staff, food and general experience! A bit pricey, but worth it. Definitely recommend!
Let me start by saying the sweet crepe (dulce de leche) we had was much better than the savoury (cheesy pesto). Reasons for 4 stars is the portion could be more generous for the price of a crepe and the chicken we had wasn’t the best. The cappuccino was really good and would highly recommend it. Overall a 4 star and would recommend this place especially for your sweet tooth.
$20 for a crepe. That's. Egg. Flour. And milk. Maybe sugar and salt. I make 30 of these in two Woks for 7 people every Sunday.
This is one of my favourite places to go. I used to live in Oakville and I would frequent this restaurant regularly. I now live in Scarborough but my partner and I still make the trip to go to this restaurant specifically. We haven't been able to find an experience like the one we have had here. The service is always amazing. The couple that owns this place are very genuine and are part of the reason I love coming here. All the employees are very pleasant and are fully invested when they are working there. People are sometimes taken off guard because you have to order before you sit down but I don't find this a problem at all. The french press coffee is good, but I favour their cappuccinos. Their crepes are all accompanied by a small salad on the side with their own home made dressing, and it is so good. I have bought some bottles of the salad dressing to take home in the past. My favourite crepe is the 88 Dunn street, but every crepe I have had has been no less than perfect.
Great crepes, warm atmosphere and friendly staff. Was stuffed until dinner! I recommend it, but don't plan on eating much after you fuel up here ;)
Wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere, and wonderful owners! I've been coming here for many years and it's delicious every time!
Such a yummy place to go for lunch. Love their Savory crepes
Crepes here are absolutely delicious, not huge and not cheap, but definitely worth it! The place is tiny so i understand the concept of ordering and paying before you're seated. Stoney's on Kerr does the same thing. Some of the negative reviews have to do with this and seating, which when your space is limited and you're paying exorbitant downtown Oakville lease rates, it's understandable to limit guests to certain tables. If you allow 2 people to sit at the only table that seats 6 people, and 5 or 6 guests walk in, now they can't be accommodated and the restaurant loses that business. I've spent many years in the restaurant industry, and while most places will do everything they can to make their guests happy, they have to have limits as well. I've tried several crepes on their menu, both sweet and savoury, and have never been disappointed. Nice to have such a great crepe place in downtown Oakville.
Excellent crêpes, always delicious and perfectly done. The place is cozy despite the unusual ordering procedure. The owner and all the staff have always been nothing but pleasant and courteous to me, though I have seen the more impatient side of him (I’ve never personally seen anything outrageous or even uncalled for). This is one of my favourite spots.
My girlfriend and I come here often and not only do we love the food, but the staff are so personal and kind. 10/10 highly recommend!
Delicious, and so friendly! We were looking for somewhere to go for brunch, and with most things still being closed or patio only, we weren't left with many options. Thankfully, we stumbled across The Crepe Kitchen and were greeted by wonderful staff. Each of us tried a different savoury crepe and I'll absolutely be back again with my partner, friends, and anybody else who'll go with me!
Service
Delicious crepes probably the best I've had as far as I can remember, service was astounding and everything was fresh. We will be returning for sure!!

The crepes were good but the experience was not. The owner is very abrupt and we had to order and pay upfront and the counter. He wouldn't seat my friend until I got there. Even though the hours say they close at 3, they asked us for our table at 2:30 even though there was no lineup. That never happens in Toronto and I'm surprised this place is so busy. Wouldn't bother going back, eating out should be enjoyable and relaxing especially at those prices. I paid $26 for a crepe and a few pieces of salad leaves.
An amazing experience - both food and the vibe. Eduardo ensured everything was on point and the chef made even the smallest thing like the house salad a delectable experience. A must visit for a relaxed breakfast/brunch. Planning our next visit already.
Makes so happy have found this place since I looooove crepes... Ineed to try them all!! Plus the place is so cozy and homey. Excellent customer sevice...!!
Amazing service, delicious crepes, perfect spot for Sunday brunch.
I had the worest experience ever. The man who is working their is very rude and unprofessional. He doesn't know how to deal with customers. He got annoyed from the kids just because he found one single grape one the floor.he came right to me and said :please be careful and don't let them drop any food on the floor. He told my friend to make her kid stop crying because the staff is getting stressed and can't cook. The kids were laughing and he literally shushed them saying that they can't yell. I told him that they need to talk and they are not yelling and we can leave now because from the first moment we entered the restaurant, we felt that you are getting annoyed from everything . The food was good however ,I will never visit this ridiculous place again.
This is a quaint little store with cute décor. The service was friendly and welcoming. I had the Pop-Eye savoury crepe with spinach and cheese. The Crêpe Kitchen is rather pricey for crepes, but the crepes did come out hot and fresh, and also stuffed quite well with fillings.
Superb food in a cozy European atmosphere. Just rather pricy. Go there as a special treat.
I have experienced the best service, food, and ambiance at The Crepe Kitchen!! Family owned and operated and dedicated to making each and every patron's visit a "WANT TO RETURN" experience! !! We love to introduce out of tiwn/province/country visitors to The Crepe Kitchen! !! They never disappoint! !!
Amazing crepes, very professional and warm and friendly service. We definitely will be back for more.
Delicious crepes and great service!
Amazing place for crepes, owners are fantastic, extremely friendly and genuine. I highly recommend it, every time I'm in Oakville, I make sure I make some time to have some dulce de leche crepes!
First time at Crepe Kitchen was overall a great experience. All crepes we ordered were perfect, hand made, and delicious and the coffee is great!
Excellent creeps and friendly personel.
Can google please enable 10stars? Heard and wondered what the fuss was about their Crepes. So I decided to try. My son suggested the farmer's Pick. That was ridiculously delicious!! The place was clean, Staff were friendly. All I need when going to grab a bite is good food, nice setting, and great customer service. I got those there! Ana, Ed and Majo, I'll be back!!
(Translated) Tasty place in every way. (Original) Endroit savoureux à tous points de vue.
My family and I have been coming to The Crepe Kitchen for the last two years. Their friendly manner and excellent selection has us stopping by whenever we are downtown. If you would like a savoury lunch or delicious desert with a latte, I highly recommend you pay them a visit.
nice staff, a bit pricey- great food!!
Excellent food and very hospitable staff. Eduardo gives it a nice family touch. Definitely plan to be back with friends and family.
Every time I come here with my family I have a good time. The food is excellent. The service is exceptional. It feels like you are in your home sharing a meal. The savoury crepes are my best and the sweet crepes are my kids favourite. Oh least I forget the owner remembers names .
Bad customer service. Especially from the owner
Amazing family business passionately serving up savoury and sweet crepes. We got the Spanish for the savoury and strawberry tart for the sweet - both amazing recommendations made by the polite and thoughtful staff. Service was on-point and they were quick to replace cutlery, plates and coffees between the two crepes. Definitely worth your time and money - give it a shot, you will not be disappointed.
The food was delicious (a bit over priced but expected in that area) - however, the service was terrible. I have read a few other comments and would echo the point about them not liking children! My daughter (nearly 3) is very good, but she is a toddler - a man (possibly the owner) nastily told her to stop playing with her car (making noise and against the counter) at the start of our lunch, and then we were all but ignored the rest of our time there (every table around us of course received great service... I had to call out to the waitress just to have a water refilled when she was refilling a nearby table's water.) I left with a bad taste in my mouth (though not from the food)
Beautiful place!
Outstanding service and delicious high quality food. I'll be back!!
Crepes were great and my wife says their French press coffee is the best she has ever had!
Wonderful food and service! We will definitely be back and recommend to friends.
Edited after multiple visits Food: 4.5 star Service: 1-2 star depending on luck. Competition may make difference. Perhaps this is the only “fine” crepe place nearby. Do we get other choice? Not really. Do we deserve better service? Yes, but maybe not here, not today….
I love their food and the staff! My favourites are their House Salad Dressing and their Mediterranean Crepe with Chicken, mmmm.
We came here on a Wednesday morning, quiet but amazing food. We got both savory and sweet crepes and I can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu.
Always wonderful food and homey ambience
Today sadly after ten years of frequenting this family-run restaurant, I witnessed the owner behaving extremely discourteously and it created a very uncomfortable situation around us- so much so that walking out the door after my meal will be the last time I go through it. Customers matter. If you treat one badly and it's not even you that is the target, it can make the atmosphere one that is not a pleasure to be in. I have never made a post like this before... that speaks volumes. I am going to call three of MY best Customers now and tell them how much I VALUE & APPRECIATE THEM!
Very friendly place with good crepes available in many different ways. Nice owner, very nice old style interiors. Absolutely worth a try!
Great Customer Service. The Best Crepes!
Our new favorite place! Great service, amazing crepe. The have both savory and sweet options. I would post a picture but couldn't delay eating the food!
It's a cozy family run restaurant. You feel like you are home.
A few days ago, my friends and I, went to this place, and was great!. The staff and service were friendly and kind. The taste of crepes was really good and their food presentation was impeccable. Also have a pleasant atmosphere. The place is very clean.
My wife always go here when we visit Oakville. Delicious crepes, nuf said.
Amazing food and staff. Really worth a visit.
The service here is always great! The owners and there staff are always very welcoming and friendly, I feel like part of the family whenever I visit. The food is some of the best you'll get on lakeshore, and the service is even better!
Best crepes by far. Owner has a great sense of humour. Great place!
Friendly service and great crepes! Busy Saturday morning, with limited seated so best to give yourself time or arrive early :)
Best crepes in Ontario, simply delicious. Salty crepes are better than sweet ones.
Been coming here for years, the Crepes are always incredible and made when you order.
I absolutely love this place! Beautiful and full of character, delicious crepes and wonderful owners! Can't ask for more. Service, food, setting = amazing!!!
Most yummy place I've been to in oakville. Everyone is nice:)
Thicker crepes than the traditional recipe - I like it. Also, sandwiches are great!
Great food!
Delicious! And the coffees are perfect.
Perfect crepes, super friendly service, and awesome ambiance! I have been coming here regularly for 5+ years and the food here is consistently delicious whether you’re looking for sweet or savoury. Even the house salad dressing that comes with every crepe is amazing. A true local, family-run gem in downtown Oakville!
I have been to The Crepe Kitchen time to time since it is in our neighbourbood. I went there this morning to have breakfast with my husband. We ordered two almond milk lattes, and two crepes.( You need to order and pay + tip them first ) . Our lattes arrived and did not look almond milk latte. I asked the server and he said they were regular latte, and they do not have almond milk. We said it was fine and told him we could just have coffee. The owner/manager came to our table and instead of apologizing ( which we didn't even need), he told us that because we ordered Latte, and don't want them, he has to charge us French pressed coffee. ($4.50 each- same price as latte). Several back and forth, he told us that if we did say that "almond milk", he was okay. But since he had already argued with us and expressed how unhappy he was by telling us to pay again, it totally ruined our moment. We asked to take our meals to go instead. I wished I could asked get the tip back. With that said, THEIR CREPES ARE VERY GOOD ALWAYS. Not going back ever agian though.
Crêpes were absolutely delicious, service was wonderful. Would highly recommend.
What a great a place and experience. This place is a family affair and a Parisian one at that! The food is excellent as is the service. On a good weather day you can sit outside and enjoy the views with added quiet as it’s on a side street. The only real downside are the cravings you will have when you least expect them.
Very tasty crepes. Good service. Comfy decor. Would recomend.
Horrid customer service! They refused to seat my guest alone until I was able to get there? So we were off to a bad start, we decided we would try it anyway. As I am paying for my crepe and about to sit down, two of the more experienced staff were very loudly talking about how ridiculous it is to have to serve a new guest when they are joining people who are already sitting at one of their tables. I have never experienced this before. The crepe was ok (it was the only decent part of the whole experience) and literally as I took my last bite with fork in hand, I had barely put in my mouth when the waiter came and abruptly removed my dishes. I will never come here again. There are plenty other much better restaurants who serve crepes than this one. I felt completely unwelcomed from the beginning and then waitstaff glaring at us in anticipation of taking our plates and rushing us out just made the experience a terrible one. I’m not sure if some of the staff just hate their job or perhaps investing in a bigger space where you don’t have to rush your guests out would be more conducive. Give it a thought as I will be telling everyone I know not to bother giving this restaurant their time or their money.
Every time I visit Oakville, this place is a must! My personal fave is the Pierre with bacon. Could seriously eat these crepes every day. Plus it’s so cute that you get an individual French press when you order a coffee :)
Service
Excelent crepes by a beautiful Colombian family
Owner/staff are very rude. I have avoided this place for a long time as they were very rude to my daughter some time back and clearly nothing has changed. The male owner makes no attempt to make you feel welcome. Would definitely not recommend or go back.
Fantastic food and drink matched only by exceptional and accommodating service. Thanks again Eduardo, looking forward to our next visit! P.S. the breakfast burrito and strawberry chocolate crêpes are phenomenal.
I like this place, but I am always surprised at how much we spend. I guess they need to charge a lot to keep the doors open. We keep coming back, so I guess I think that it's worth it
Amazing crepes! Always like to have my essential usual without which the weekend does not start ???????????????? Owner and staff very friendly and best tasty crepes I have eaten so far!! Highly recommend. support local business.
Small place and usually busy. The service is good and the crepes are wonderful. Love their homemade salad dressing.
Crepes are amazing, and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend. Takeout is equally delicious!
Mushroom crepe is delicious!
I had a lovely lunch with a friend at this very cute and clean spot. My savory crepe was delicious and my cappucino was great with lot's of foam. Very friendly server and would visit again.
A cozy place with wonderful customer service. Thank you for an awesome experience, Eduardo!! We’ll be back soon.
Wish I could give this place negative stars. Very rude and inconsiderate server. I was 8 months pregnant and he could clearly see that and was rude. Please don’t go there if you are not white.
One of my favourite place in Oakville. Love there food friendly stuff... highly recommended
Fantastic authentic crepes. Stuffed to the max with great ingredients. Would definitely go again. Very friendly staff
Homey feel, quick service, delicious food! Loved the fajita crepe.
Loved this place. A friend of mine took me here and I was blown away. The food was fresh and rich but very light on the stomach. The owners were couteous and very welcoming. It was a very good experience. I will definitely return and spread the word. I highly recommend.
It is too bad that the owner and staff were so rude and out right mean, because the crepes are good. We walked in with a group of mom's for a birthday breakfast on a Tuesday, only to be immediately insulted. We were told to 'be quiet', 'move out of the way', move a birthday cake we brought off of the table (regardless of us understanding outside cake isnt allowed), the owner even removed glasses of water from in front of us, to get us out and argued with us. We all ate and drank and spent money. This is a restaurant but we felt as if we were in a library. He would huff and puff and told us to SHHHH. Other guests were speaking and laughing as well but it appeared our particular business was not wanted. So, none of us will be back again.
Really nice staff. Food was excellent.
Great food every visit
First time, but not the last, wonderful crepes, better than Paris!!! Great selection, service and smile. Great restaurant in downtown Oakville
I hope the hospitality is better inside this restaurant. The owner very rudely told me not to sit on a chair outside. I had just stopped to wait 5 minutes for my hair salon to open. When I asked why, he stated " because this is my restaurant and these are my tables and you can't sit there with your bottle of water " I left. .....
We had the house salad, breakfast burrito and dolce de leche crepe with strawberries and banana. Delicious, fresh and ripe fruits, very generous amount of filling and a healthy menu with extensive selection. Marvellous hospitality and welcoming atmosphere. The owners took their time tell us about local sites to visit. We will be coming back.
Best crepes in the city
A bit over priced, but the crepes are decent. Cute decor.
Great creps and good customer service although a bit too pricey for my taste. A crepe breakfast for 3 at almost $60 seems a bit too steep even at a downtown location.
Nice local spot for a taste of France. Would be nice not to have to order before sitting, but that is my only complaint. Great on all levels and I highly recommend them.
(Translated) Excellent restaurant of crepes, savory and sweet, and the dedicated attention of the owners towards their customers is incredible. (Original) Excelente restaurante de creps, salados y dulces, y la atención dedicada de los dueños hacia sus clientes es increíble .
great food a nice place to have a quick meal
Pricey for sure, bur REALLY good. One of the better crepes I've ever had, would recommend. Wicked friendly people that run it
Really nice and beautiful family owned and run restaurant. Incredibly delicious food!! Don't forget to purchase the homemade dressing!! A must try!!
Best crepe I've ever had
Nice place for a date or a family meal (or treat!).
Crepes were excellent, service was great.
The food is fabulous and the owners are so nice and smiling all the time. Highly recommended
My family and I have visited the Crepe Kitchen several times, and with each visit we grow fonder and fonder of eating there. The decor inside is beautiful and quaint, much like a french country kitchen. The magnificent food though is what keeps bringing you back. While the pricing is a little higher than a traditional breakfast or lunch eatery, the quality of food and ingredients is well worth the price. I really can't say enough amazing things about this establishment. ***Edit*** I have noticed in other reviews that patrons have mentioned the owner is a bit brazen or difficult. I have noticed from time to time myself that he can be a bit grumpy, but have never had the horrible experiences that others here have mentioned.
Very delicious food, with ripe bananas and strawberries. The crepe itself was amazing. Would recommend.
This charming nook in downtown Oakville is warm and welcoming. I enjoy their food so much. The service is kind and everyone is looked after. This is perfect for families and casual outings. I fully recommend it!
Poor service. Expensive.
Great place! We got the Popeye and loved it! Very friendly owners, a couple from Peru. We will go again and highly recommend to anyone else who is thinking of going. The owners took the time to explain the menu as it was our first time. They also spent time chatting with us afterwards as it wasn't busy and we were also not in a rush. Very nice setup and vintage decor.
If you are passing by Oakville, The Crepe kitchen is a must go. The owner is such a nice & caring gentleman. Staff are kind. And most importantly the crepe … is flawless and super delicious. Take my word … it’s the right place for your breakfast.
Had a great breakfast friendly service
They wouldn't serve us as I just wanted cappuccino and my daughter crepe and cappuccino. They said they don't serve food for only one person. It was outside seating and not even table was taken. Never in my life I was refused service because I wouldn't order enough. Very rude manager! We will never go there again.
To avoid being asked to leave make sure you all order food. Haven’t eaten inside the Crepe Kitchen since Covid. Decided to take a senior friend who loves the place and was loyal with takeout all through the shutdown. Got a table inside for 2 inside. He ordered his crepe and coffee, I ordered a coffee only because I’m celiac. The owner came over with my coffee and told us we could stay today but going forward if we both weren’t going to order food we weren’t welcome. The owner thought we should understand since Covid has compromised his restaurant. The confusing thing is, without happy/loyal customers(which is the foundation of most businesses), there is no restaurant, regardless of Covid. It’s a shame Crepe’s business approach is rid with resentment and fear, to the point they take it out on a loyal customer.
We were on our way to a Thai restaurant in downtown Oakville for lunch (last minute decision - we live relatively close but the kids were too hungry to make it home and start lunch) when we spotted a sign on Lakeshore advertising the Crepe Kitchen and decided to give the place a try (much to the consternation of my son). It was a Sunday afternoon at 1:30 - and the kids were extremely hungry - we thought that crepes would likely be a faster option. When we entered the restaurant all of the guests had been served. There was only one couple ahead of us in line (you need to order before seating yourself). The kitchen staff of about 5 or 6 (it's an open kitchen behind the register) were not cooking so we assumed we would be served very quickly. My wife and I glanced at each other silent acknowledging that we had clearly made the right choice for a quick bite. We ordered 4 crepes and then, about a minute after, I went back to the counter and ordered 2 french onion soups (approx $96 in total with juices/water). The person at the register asked if the soups should come first and I immediately responded asking that all the food should come together. I knew the kids were hungry and are very picky when it comes to soups (particularly those with a significant onion flavouring). Ignoring my request, the onion soup came in a reasonable time frame (probably 10 to 15 minutes after ordering) with no crepes in sight. After being seated for about 20 minutes or so a group of 6 or 8 teenagers came and ordered - we didn't pay them much attention, but noticed them as they took the table next to us. About five to ten minutes after the teenagers put their order in, the person at the register came over to us and spoke with us, but in broken English so neither myself nor my wife understood what he was trying to communicate - something about someone at another table getting their meal before us but we were next. We assumed that he was apologizing for the wait and we would be served momentarily - which was good as my 5 year old daughter was beginning to get upset. We were shocked and dismayed as the table of 6 to 8 teenagers began receiving their meals. One after another, each of the next many crepes that came from the kitchen were brought to their table. My kids were in shock (with my daughter beginning to cry) as they saw each crepe being served to a table of recent arrivals when we had been there (very hungry) for more than 30 minutes waiting. I asked a server (I think one of the proprietors) when we were going to receive our crepes and we had an unpleasant exchange. We advised that we had ordered an hour ago and still hadn't received our crepes. About a minute later another employee - I think the other proprietor (with haltering English) returned triumphantly advising (with our credit card receipt in hand) that we had only waited 47 minutes. Yes 47 minutes for crepes! Crepes!!! And unfortunately not even very good crepes (which was particularly distressing since crepes really aren't that hard to make). The individual who took our order did acknowledge they made a mistake, and apologized many times after, but the damage was done. They offered us free dessert which was nice, but concerned that the kids needed to be in bed in the next 6 hours or so we declined (if the crepes were tastier we may have reconsidered). We live in South East Oakville and come downtown a fair bit. When we first saw the sign we were wondering how this place escaped our notice for so long. I guess we were just lucky all of this time.
Excellent crepes! Recommend it 100%!
????????
This place is definitely not child friendly. The owner was so rude. He indirectly kicked us out of restaurant because we had a stroller. When we came in there was only one table taken and the family had a stroller , and they used the restaurants only booster seat. The place was practically empty. He couldn't remove one chair from the tables to accomodate us so I can place the stroller..not to mention we have been to this place many times before and he knows us. He wanted us to seat our 1 year old son on my lap lol... Basically all the 1 star reviews are extremely accurate. The staff and the owner are very unwelcoming, rude and not accommodating to the customers needs. Never going there again
From the minute I stepped foot into that Café the owner was extremely rude, angry and unpleasant. We arrived at 10 a.m. for a friend's birthday.. the place was empty and he asked for no strollers, no baby seats. he told us to keep our voices down, he then told us we been there for too long after we 2 hours . I will never ever go there just or dare to step foot in this place again because of the owner
Greatest brunch ever. The crepes were unbelievably good and the coffee was exquisite. The staff will treat you like you are family, and offer only the finest brunch imaginable!
Super delicious crepès, very friendly staff, cozy little spot in downtown Oakville, Eduardo was very welcoming and once he knew it was my birthday I got a cute candle on my strawberry crepe. Must try the Savoury chicken & mushroom with beshamel & hearts of palm!
Wonderful light crepes stuffed with fillings. The Three Mushroom, Charlie’s Choice, Dreamy (shrimp), and Chicken Fajita are all delicious. Friendly service and lovely patio on a quiet street.
Misrable owner. Such a rude person . Who needs to go into a place having persons with such bad attitude. I would rather go to Mcdonalds
Delicious, have to go back to try everything on the menu.
Tasty food and great service. Will be back for sure.
An excellent gem, hidden in Oakville downtown.
I've been to The Crepe Kitchen 3-4 times now with my mom and sister, and we've had very quick service and the crepes are always tasty. Yes, a bit more than I would like to pay, but we go as a sort of treat. The dessert crepe with apples and cheddar is my go-to. For those of you with kids, I'm sorry but I have to side with the owners - it's not really a place for little ones to be running around - it's a small, quaint establishment, limited in space and prone to echo, where one might typically find adult groups of 2-6 having brunch and nice conversation. If you believe that your kids should have run of the place and be screaming, best to stick to the McDonald's playground. Otherwise, it's just rude and inconsiderate.
Since we moved to Oakville many years ago, The Crepe Kitchen, has been our go-to for amazing crêpes, French onion soup, croque Monsieur/Madame…. So glad that this tradition continues this very day! Am surprised to see one or two not so shiny reviews, because people who obviously don’t get out much, think it’s Ok to take up tables of four or six drinking water and sharing one crepe, while the rest of us wait to experience excellence. See you Saturday for the usual. Xoxo
Loved it
The people were rude upon arrival when our group asked a question and continued to be rude while serving us. The food was good but my time was ruined as was the rest of the groups.
Clean. Polite Service. Good food. Easy 5*
Very rude service. The owner was extremely rude. Meeting a friend for lunch ended up being a NON relaxing/upsetting experience. Finishing our meal we were asked to leave shortly after because “someone “ was waiting for our table (15 mins before closing). No one was waiting at the door to sit since the place was closing soon. Noted that no one else was asked to leave. Not sure why this happened. We paid and tipped before we ate. Never going back. Not worth it.
Very cute little place with delicious house dressing for the salad and the pesto chicken crepe is amazing!
Food was above average, however I am stealing 2 stars just to highlight the rudeness of a lady in the kitchen counter who was exceptionally rude for no reason.. no sure if she was having a bad day or something.
Really good family run restaurant. Food has always been tasty. Fast and friendly service. Go there quite often.
Love the crepes... Everyone should try the Shannon's campfire really yummy!!!! Love the customer service and love the restaurant!! They follow social distancing and also sanitize the tables after every customer. Great place for a brunch.
Great food, excellent service and a lovely place to eat!
Very nice family restaurant, delicious crepes????????????
Fantastic food but owner is very strict
WHATEVER YOU DO JUST STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Horrible customer service. I wish I was able to give this place a no star. The owner is the rudest, most miserable person i’ve met. He makes you feel like an absolute garbage. He stares at you while you eat, occasionally comes to your table and give guests dirty looks for being too loud and swoops in to collect your dishes when he decides that you're done. I went in there for the first time and ordered a tea with my crepe and grabbed two tea bags from the counter to see which one I want and the owner rudly ran after me to tell me I only paid for one tea and need to immediately put the other one back if I’m not going to pay for it. This place should not be allowed to stay open with a such a horrific owner.
Fantastic place to go for a brunch. Very warm and welcoming environment - great for small groups or just for two! The sweet onion vinaigrette is amazing, and will leaving you wanting more.
Pathetic customer service. The guy who works there is rude and doesnt know how to treat customers well. I was wearing a mask and I told him on entry that I am waiting for my friend .. instead of leading me to the seat he lead me outside and started telling me that I should wait outside for her.. I am pregnant, he could see that .. It was extremely cold and windy outside but he didnt bother to offer me a seat (that I would have been sitting on once my friend would have arrived) .. I just found his over all attitude very rude.
Very creative and delicious
Great food!
The food is terrific and the owners are super nice!
Great crepes and French press coffee.
OMG we loved the crepe kitchen place , its a family business place , very cozy , welcoming owner , YUMMY crepe ( I ordered the pop eye) it was so delicious, the dressing of the salad ( sweet onion vinaigrette) was so GOOD , they apparently do it themselves so each one of us bought one !! Thank you for having us and the great food , will definitely go again .
Awful service. My daughter was playing with the sugar sachets and the owner got angry. The food was ok, but then, any moron can make an ok crepe. They are just rude, but not comic rude like the soup Nazi. Something very sad happened to those peole to make them act like that. Maybe their parents didn't love them. ..
The Crepe Kitchen is without a doubt the best breakfast establishment that I have visited in quite some time. As a privately owned restaurant, my friends and I take it upon ourselves to visit every Sunday. Not only is this a great place for us catch up with our friends that we have not seen all week, but the selection and quality of the food is incredible. Eduardo and Anna, the owners of The Crepe Kitchen, have become our friends, and for good reason. As regulars there, they are always welcoming, always courteous, and always happy to take a moment to chat with us. They even went so far as to name an item on the menu after one of our friends who has a medical condition (and for a time, this was one of the only places with food that he could stomach). I'd definitely recommend The Crepe Kitchen.
Amazing delicious food, great family in the kitchen, awesome atmosphere. A hidden Gem in downtown Oakville
Great place, great food. I just love it. The ordering system is a bit cumbersome and they could use a few more tables, but overall, I really like going there.
After a horrible experience throughout our lunch, I politely said to the kitchen person that the food was excellent but the service was horrible and she, someone else from the kitchen and the OWNER yelled at me for saying that. He then followed me to the street and in a very aggressive manner told me not to ever come back to the restaurant!!!! wow! this happened on Father's day in front of our 3, 5 and 6 year old girls and wife!!
Such a cute place! I had delicious crepes (Nutella, strawberry and blueberry) and a perfect cappuccino. I would definitely recommend this place to friends. The atmosphere was perfect, and the staff was very friendly! (Also, the Mediterranean savoury crepe was also really delicious)
Food is great, however attitude and hospitality is terrible, the guy treats customers very badly as if it is the only restaurant in town.
Bad bad bad attitude , staff is ???????????????? , never go to this place ????
Eduardo and Anna arw great. Had the French Onion soup and a strawberry and banana crepe. Will be back soon!!
Good food. Negatives: They have a low number of seats. Also, you can’t substitute ingredients...my aunt had had surgery and could not digest certain ingredients! They gave us a hard time! but finally after a looong debate at the cash they made what we asked for her...
Pretty good tasting crepe, good location and decent pricing.
Amazing place, wonderful owners/service! Very personable.
Absolutely AMAZING food. The owner rolled out the red carpet for us, the entire staff was very attentive, patient and passionate about their food. The service is SPECTACULAR (second only to the food). I had the Dulce de leche strawberry crepe as well as the "Simple and Good" If you're visiting Canada this is definitely the place to go for you breakfast or brunch.
Hi guys, You are amazing! Loved your crepes and patience! Will visit you when again in Oakville Yuliia and Dan
Yummy crepes Average coffee
For my husband and I, the Crepe Kitchen is "our place". The owners and staff are very sweet, and the food is impossibly delicious (don't miss their homemade salad dressing). The decor is charming French Country - very cozy! We have been going here nearly every weekend for two years, and have always had top notch experiences. Love this place!!
Excellent crepes. The owner was a little dry. I'd give him five starts if he was more friendly.
The place maybe slightly pricey to some but you pay more for its delicious crepes, they are flavorful and generous in its portion and ingredients. For Sunday mornings it is the place to be for casual brunch.
Incredible. Our son had the strawberry and custard crepe and asked us "how do they make them so good?" We all loved it. Can't wait to go back.
Best crepes you'll eat ever! I get the simple and good breakfast crepe and I literally go there 2 days in a row because it's just so delicious. Everything is clean and open and small and cozy. Eat local try the crepe house!!
Amazing all around ! They truly have perfected their crepes . Definitely coming back !
We had a wonderful experience today at The Crepe Kitchen. Great food and service, lovely staff and a warm welcome. My parents, sisters, and I left very satisfied and would definately be coming back.
New favorite spot! The atmosphere of this place was amazing: not only was the staff warm and welcoming but the decor and furniture made it feel so homey! There was a great selection of both savoury and sweet crepes, it made it hard to choose one! Can't wait for an excuse to go back!
The food is definitely great. Among the best crepes I've ever had. However the service still need to be improved. All the times we stayed there, we did not receive a single smile from the waitresses. They make you feel like you bother them, from the moment you step in to the moment you leave. Not s single kind gesture or effort put to show gratitude to the customer for coming in. Only the chef at one point paid attention to us. The menu is also pricey. The crepes are incredible, but be prepared for the bill.
What a unique spot to enjoy the small town feel and culture of this section of Ontario! The owners serve you personally, and the family is involved at every step of the meal.
I really liked the crepe there! It's a cozy place and fun to go to with a small group of friends.
I had walked past the Crepe Kitchen for years and finally decided to give it a shot. Its amazing.
Delicious crepes!
Very nice atomisphere and welcoming staff, the owners are always there and they r amazing people, loved the food I've been there for breakfast and lunch, and I tried almost 5 types of crepes and they were all great ????????????????????????????????
Small place with homely feel...food is delicious. Parking in Oakville is annoying
Amazing food and great friendly staff
First visit, great experience. Great food, great service. No understood previous comments, the gentleman at the cash was very polite and nice with us.
Amazing
if you want crepe in oakville.. this is the only authentic french place.. all things french.. have a nice french day
Great menu great service fantastic food. The staff handled a rude and demanding customer with such professionalism. Can’t believe how rude some people could be?? We have been patronizing this place over 6 years and have always had the best food & service. Well done Edwardo & wife.
My family love food & are particular with tasty, delicious options. We crave for certain favourites and try to find a good place that serves them best. We love Crepes & have been trying out a couple of restaurants around our area but we weren’t completely satisfied because either the crepes were not as tasty for our taste buds or their service is just not of our standards … until we tried “The Crepe Kitchen”! Not only are their food so sumptuous, the service is just absolutely fantastic! The sincerity of the care & friendliness of staff makes the atmosphere more comfortable each time we come to eat. Eduardo is my fave! He is so cheerful & kind and even gives treats to our baby Yorkie! We came today coz I was craving, but we had to sit out on the patio chairs coz we were with our Yorkie & it was cold so he gave us warm blankets! ????So thoughtful! You don’t see that in many restaurants anywhere! We just love him to bits & love their food! We will always come back and promote it & tell everyone we know about THE best Crepe resto with the most friendly & caring staff in town!????
I will never forget the day I found this gem of a brunch spot in Oakville back in 2014. Me and my husband continue to come back for the delicious crepes and the exceptional customer service! I remember forgetting my purse back in 2016 and rushing back, only to be welcomed back with the biggest smile as they promptly returned it to me. There have been so many memories made over scrumptious food with friends and family. (... have you TRIED their salad dressing?!?!? It is to die for!!)
The best crepe restaurant in Halton region, maybe even all of the GTA. The owners and workers are personable and kind which makes for an incredible experience before even getting to the food. The food is always good and the ingredients are fresh, so you know you’re getting a great meal every time. The environment is very unique and gives off a home-like vibe. My fiancé and I go at least one a month and we have never been disappointed!
Yummy crepes catering to all appetites :) Great veggie choices and their Farmers crepe is delicious! And they do serve dessert crepes -- So yummy! A must visit
Amazing food, and super friendly staff. Will be back again.
Brunch
Gorgeous place. The cafe is very considerate of the covid rules. It's a family owned business and they are very very friendly. Owner is super sweet.
This is a great restaurant. I always get excellent service at this restaurant and the food is consistent. I have been many times and I will continue to visit.
I've been to the Crepe Kitchen about 5 times now and every crepe I've tried has been excellent! The service is friendly, and I'm always surprised at how efficient they are. We now buy the salad dressing from them for home because it's so good! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a breakfast or brunch location that has enough options to cater to almost any taste.
Great food & service!
Very impressed! Came across this place and went to check it out. The food was amazing and the customer service was even better. Such a happy and fun group of people
Perfect for us, delicious and great atmosphere! We will be back!
The owner/ manager is very rude. There was even a confrontation by another customer last Sunday while I was there. Food is decent, but the portion size has gone down and the price is still the same:(
Good crepes, a bit overpriced for what you get. Not family friendly. Was a bit annoying that we weren't allowed to keep our baby in her stroller, had to leave it at the door and they couldn't offer a high chair instead.
The staff the food the vibe - all of it definitely an easy 5????????. A must visit - the crepes are delicious.
We had the most wonderful breakfast at the Crepe kitchen last weekend. My 89 years old mom finish all her crepe and we were delightful with the service and the hospitality from the staff. You can see the difference when the owners are present and care very professionally about their business. Good job!
An absolute gem in the heart of Oakville. Excellent menu. In fact a unique one. Excellent crepes. The owners take pride in providing a wonderful atmosphere for their diners. Interesting decor with unusual tables and mirrors adds to the eclectic charm. I have dined alone and with friends a group as large as 8. Can’t wait for outdoor seating
Breakfast
The Crepe Kitchen is one of those incredible Oakville restaurants , that serves fantastic food. Outstanding menu. Definitely worth a try, in order to support local - in these strange times.
Terrible customer service. Owner is extremely rude. Avoid this place like the demonic plague.
This is a great crêpe restaurant located in downtown Oakville. The Charlie's Choice crêpe is by far my favourite item on the menu.
WORST customer service i have ever seen!!!!! I never wrote a bad review but this one i had to! I just had to! The cashier did not welcome us and was extremely rude even though it wasnt our first time to come. I love the food but unfortunately i wont be visiting again not when i see someone being rude to me and my family. I was just reading the reviews i think the owner is nice with specific people and rude with non white people like me.
Crepes taste awesome! Service is great! Love the atmosphere! I recommend this place just so I can have another opportunity to eat there again!
If you like crepes, this is the place to be. Hands down the best crepes that I have ever had. Only thing better was the service. they treated us like we were part of the family. By the end we were leaving with some Canadian maple syrup.
Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere.v
Very good and tasty crepes but we found the food overpirced
Excellent!
Crepe was way too cheesy, didn't expect it to be mostly cheese with a bit of meat. Also super expensive ($8 for a crepe with only Nutella!!!) The decor is nice and the people working there are pleasant but it's too expensive for me to go back. Not feasible to afford a savoury and sweet crepe in one meal unless you're sharing with others.
We went with our 11 month old daughter who was very excited to be in a new environment and kept squeeling with glee as we waited for our food to arrive...next thing I knew the owner(?) came over to the table, went right up to my baby's face and shushed her! Told her she had to be quiet!?! I was thoroughly shocked and disgusted! If we hadn't already paid for our food (and ate a portion) we would've ran out of there! I would NOT recommend this place. Although the food is good the service is disgusting! Another customer was complaining to the staff on her way out and when the staff told the owner, he just rolled his eyes. I've never written a review before but needless to say I felt compelled to after this experience. Don't go...not worth it!
The best salty crepes in Ontario!! Must try, everything is delicious so don't even think about it, just go for it! Great for Breakfast or Brunch.
Meal type
The owners are so nice and accommodating, they always provide us with the best service, and the food quality is great.
Cozy local spot
Amazing experience! Very broad menu ... the food is so delicious!! The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is inviting!! Even made my birthday extra special- thank you!!
One of my favorite all time restaurant! You'll be taken care by an amazing family so loving, clean and generous! Love the whole vibe, the food is delicious flavorful and made with lots of love. Thank you for always giving us this amazing experience!
The crepe is OK. The atmosphere could be much better. Customer service is poor. Owner keeps staring at you as if he is hosting you for charity. I don't think I would be back to a place where no one is able to give you even a fake smile.
This was my first time coming here and you can bet I'm coming back. The staff were super friendly and service was amazing. The food was so fresh and delicious. Excited to come back again!
Excellent sweet and salty crepes. Had the mushroom and chicken pesto; strawberry/custard and nutella for sweet. All were great. Will def be visiting again ????
The worst experience EVERRRRR The owner is beyond rude and kept on trying to push us out of the store. Absolutely terrible experience would never go back and not recommend
Very polite staff with wonderful food.
Went in with my mother who had been coming here often, I sat at a table (1 of 3 open) as i waited for my mom to order. The owner then came shooting across the room and with a loud voice said I couldn’t sit until I ordered. I explained that my mom - who was waiting behind a group of 4 - was ordering for me. The owner said that I still couldn’t sit down and that the table I was at was reserved. The group in front of my mother hadn’t said anything, their were two other tables with 4 and 6 seats open, and this guy took it upon himself to embarrass me in front of the other customers and make me get up... I promptly left and will never ever go back and neither will my mother. I am not saying any other staff share the same poor customer service standard, I am speaking solely about the male owner who certainly has a poor standard.
Horrendous experience! Worst customer experience I have ever had to endure with such disrespect. Owner/Manager is abrasive and offensive - very unnecessary. This restaurant should not last much longer post-COVID should this keep up….which based on posts so far, seems to be a trend ????♂️
This place is not for families. If you are single or with no kids then you might enjoy it as we did in the past. We were there with our two years twins. They only have one booster seat and no high chairs. So you ask them why there is no second one. The answer was “people bring theirs”. Unfortunately, the mindset is this is what it is, if you don’t like it , don’t come. Which we definitely won’t do again.
One of the servers were so rude and Racist. He is the manager too I think. He wouldn’t seat us anywhere as one of our party member was still parking. In the end, we had to leave because he was not accommodating us at all for literally no reason. Don’t go if you’re not white.
The best quality and taste Crepe ever.
Crepe were delicious but bit of a wait for a table. Decor fits the theme of a kitchen with country style furniture. Recommended for that lazy Sunday morning walk down Lakeshore
The crepe itself was good. However, their hot beverage options were limited. I like FLAVOURED lattes (caramel lattes, etc). When I asked if they have flavour shots, the response was a straight; NO, they only offer one straight latte. So while my wife waited for our crepe order (and the tea my wife ordered) at one of their outdoor tables, I walked across the street to Second Cup for a Caramel Corretto. I returned and we enjoyed our food while seated outside. After a few minutes, the (presumed) owner decided to come out and rudely told us that there is no outside food allowed (keeping in mind that we were seated outside - admittedly, at their tables). I asked if I could have my crepe to go then, to which he rudely replied (essentially) that he will let it go this time. So as we sat there finishing up, he kept looking at us from inside. However, we are giving the benefit of the doubt and assuming that this was so he could remove our plates and/or clear the table if we had left. There was no other communication with us even when he did come back outside to clear our finished plates (such as; How was everything?, or if we needed anything else). While we can understand that they may not appreciate outside food/drink at their establishment, we feel there was a far better approach to communicating this to us, if at all. I presume that it goes without saying that we will not be returning nor recommending this establishment. The experience, albeit very minor, and perhaps even justified to an extent, left us with a bad taste in our mouths for The Crepe Kitchen.
fabulous cappuccino!
Well worth the drives (we're from Montreal, daughter is from Milton), excellent service, the food was amazing!! You are greeted immediately, you order your food and pay ahead, then sit down and relax. Highly recommended by our daughter! No doubt we'll be back.
Great food and atmosphere. Friendly service.
Great home-style creperie. The Crepe with lemon juice was excellent.
The food was great and the staff was super friendly. Great options, savoury and sweet. The manager/owner was extremely rude, pointing fingers at our table from the side. He also angrily asked people to throw away their coffees from outside.
very nice food. I had the veggie crepe and the nutella strawberry delicious
We've been coming to The Crepe Kitchen for years and it is our favourite establishment in Oakville. Consistently delicious food, top attention to detail and friendly, warm service. This place is a treasure.
Really nice place! Food was great, coffee was great! Looking forward to going there again. Although going with the theme that they have, their chairs are kinda wonky and not too comfortable.
I’m putting in review with such disappointment. This place had one of the best crepes, but recently they have been providing poor quality of ingredients. Twice I got disappointed with the service as food was stale, cold... Today even the latte was served cold. I was expecting atleast an understanding from the owner’s daughter, but I was wrong she not only got rude but after the complaint she accused me that I was expecting free food!!! I don’t know what future they have in this business with such poor service and hospitality. #highlydisappointed????
Loved it. Friendly staff, amazing food. Best place for a French style brunch. Try Charlie's Choice, you won't regret it.
Today I had an amazing Nutella crepe and it well and truly made my day! The last time I had one this good it was years ago back on a trip to Paris. I recommend you try this place if you have a sweet tooth!
Delicious crepes, great variety of options. Truly a one of a kind restaurant. Super friendly staff. Owner was great with my kids. Fantastic spot!
Great crepes - like the savoury and fave is Charlie's Choice - perfect brunch!
I come here whenever I'm in Oakville. Worth it.
Authentic crepes, savoury and sweet, it's a brunch heaven. The owner is very nice, and took the time to chat/make sure we were well taken care of even though he wasn't serving us directly. Do NOT miss this place if you are in downtown Oakville, it's a MUST visit.
Food was great. Service was so so. Maybe it’s stressful than working during Covid?
Fantastic service. Delicious food and a great variety of crepe combinations. The restaurant itself looks amazing and very cozy. Would go again and will recommend
Best crepes in the city! Fantastic food and ambiance and friendly staff. Every time I bring friends here they become regulars on their own accord
Perfect place for a perfect breakfast. Loved the place and the service was excellent.
Lovely atmosphere and wonderful food big selection on creps
Disappointed Crepe under cooked. Too much cheese which was hard and not melted. 3 mushroom crepe had 90% regular mushrooms. Read good reviews but won’t be returning
DELICIOUS, DELICIOUS, DELICIOUS!!!!
Absolutely phenomenal food & service! The menu and variety of flavour offers a new experience every visit We first popped in for crepes when our youngest was 6 months, and we enjoyed it so much The Crepe Kitchen has now become our "sweet escape". Whether taking the kids out for brunch, or relaxing with a drink and some good conversation, it offers the perfect environment & food selection.
Called in to place a lunch time order for sandwiches and was told "no they take to long to make, i can make crepes only" Why is it on the menu then?!? Terrible customer service. Will not be recommending this place to anyone
Great food, service and atmosphere.
Best Crepe in GTA.
Great food and the atmosphere is very friendly. More crepe options than i k ew exsisted. They have bottles of their dressing for sale, its delicious.
crepes were amazing.
Nice ambience n friendly staff.
Great food and a very friendly environment
The waiter was rude and disrespectful ! Was having a walk with my friend on Saturday Sep 12 , where we passed this crepe restaurant which seemed appealing, we had our children with us Whom we promised ice cream , mine is six , hers is 4 and they wanted ice cream , my friend asked them if they serve ice cream for the kids so that we can order what ever from their menu and the kids enjoy the ice cream along , the waiter told us yes they do have vanilla ice cream , our kids were slightly noisy as they wanted to leave to an ice cream store , we explained To them they do have ice cream here would you like to try it ? And they both agreed so we informed the waiter who was there witnessing it all we would like a table for us at the patio , the guy started preparing the table and said after that “here you are just mind that it is quite around here ! “ After hearing that ,we decided to leave , a place with no respect to our children has no respect to us ! If you want it “Quite”around there than place a sign say it’s an adult only restaurant! I wonder if you say this phrase to all your customers before they get seated ! My Friend was wearing a Hijab by the way don’t know if this was said because of that or no to be honest. We could have asked for the manager and complained , however we didn’t want to spoil our mood , we decided to leave and never be back and write what happened here instead. Don’t go there if you have kids and if you are wearing a Hijab or as other 1 star reviews suggest if you belong to a visible minority.
Fabulous service and incredible food
Great crepes, but dry customer service, specially the manager! Won't go back!
Great service and wonderful crepes. The flavour combos are the best I've tried. Even though they're called the Crepe Kitchen their french onion soup and sweet onion vinaigrette are scrumptious. The wait for our orders was short and the indoor and outdoor seating is beautiful. Highly recommend ☺️
Atmosphere is so cute, crepes are amazing and the home made salad dressing is to die for !!! The staff is so nice and courteous!! My bf and I absolutely adore this place !
Crepes are pretty delicious
AWFUL customer service. This morning my mother was refused a place to sit on the patio, even though the owner told her that the crepe she paid for would take 40 minutes to prepare. First off, a crepe should not take 40 minutes to prepare, but also who in their right mind tells a 50-something woman that she is not allowed to sit down at the restaurant she paid for service at. The owner told my mom that "she must walk around until the crepes were ready" EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS SPACE FOR HER TO SIT DOWN! She even offered to buy a coffee while she was waiting, but the owner was not allowing a paying customer to sit down. I was very disappointing to hear my mothers interaction with the owner and I do not support a place that is clearly prejudice against minority groups. Although the crepes are decent, better service and better food can be found elsewhere. To top it off, about a year ago me and my girlfriends were literally yelled at by the owner/ cook because one of my friends had brought a starbucks sealed drink inside (we were happy to put it away but not so happy after receiving such rude comments from the owner).
Great service. The food was delicious. This is definitely one of my top spots for brekkie.
Wow! Visited for our first experience, tried one savoury and one sweet Crepe. Both were of the finest quality... Yummy! French pressed coffee sat street side and felt like a European Cafe.
Poor customer service, they wont let u take off toppings even if you cant eat it. U are forced to put something u dont like which is ridiculous. There are alot of better places to visit for same price if not cheaper and better.
Impeccable white glove service. Quite honestly the best crepe I have ever had (farmers choice). Will definitely be coming back, highly recommended.
Once a year we celebrate the new year with family friends and it become a tradition. Food is outstanding. Environment is cute and french. And owners are so welcoming. Definitely a place worth a little trip to Oakville.
Great food, friendly staff and cozy place.
What an absolutely wonderful experience eating brunch here. From the passionately brought together food to the hearty service - it was the perfect way to spend any Sunday afternoon. This is definitely going to be my regular weekly brunch place all summer long! The Spanish savoury crepe and the strawberry tarts were just spot on ????????
Highly recommended great food and excellent customer services
My wife and I are long-time customers. As long-time lovers of great crepes, these are the best crepes in the GTA (seriously). Definitely worth the drive to downtown Oakville just to experience them. The restaurant itself is very charming, and the staff is wonderful. The owners are a family, and they treat their customers very much like family. We highly recommend this place.
Even thought the crepes are tasty, the owner is extremily rude! Impolite! Treats you like garbage!!
I love this place! Great food and great service! The owners are wonderful and so hard working. They don’t hold tables for people that aren’t there. As a small business, they take great pride in serving all their customers as quickly as possible. I love the atmosphere there and the patio outside makes you feel like you are in Europe at a little French bistro. The food is absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to go back again!!!
We went there on Eid; the owners are super sweet and friendly! The coffee is fresh, there is a wild selection of both savoury and sweet crepes. Really nice, homey atmospehere????
Found this place by accident today. We will be back . Tried two crepes. One savoury, one sweet. Both were fantastic. Great service, topped off with an outstanding French Press Coffee. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I was refused to be served for bringing my son in a stroller. The place was completely empty. I explained that my son was sleeping in the stroller so I couldn't leave it outside. In response, the female server went to the owner and right in front of me started telling him that I was being extremely rude, swearing at her, and refusing to follow rules. Needless to say, I was in shock of the behaviour and the lies the staffer had just told about me. Even more shocking was that the owner took her side, and said that they won't serve me with a stroller. Just what a new mother needs!
Eduardo and his family created a special Sunday for me and my Grandma. I’m visiting from BC and decided to search places for breakfast for the two of us. We decided to go for a drive down lakeshore from Hamilton. It was well worth the drive. We were lucky to have a table for two available upon arrival. It’s a small, yet comfortable and homey kind of atmosphere. Our service was fantastic, the young lady that waited on us was awesome. The crepes were nothing short of incredible. My favourite part of the experience was seeing Eduardo go around to the tables and check in to see how everyone was doing with their Sunday brunch meal. That type of old school service is rare there days, and it’s been a while since I’ve seen this happen at a restaurant. Thank you for making the last day of my visit with Grandma, a great one.
The worst experience I ever had in my life, the waiter was so rude, didn't welcome us at all, he was questioning my choice of food, and had a very racist tone in his voice, don't even think of going, after interacting with the waiter, I felt the food tasted awful. A friend of mine also tried it before and had a similar experience. I assume he would provide better service to white people.
Great food, friendly atmosphere
Not kid friendly and they maker sure you know it. Rude server! -think he was the owner.
Delicious and well-priced, with a lovely ambience.
Guy runs the place like the crèpe Nazi.
This place was great! Excellent and friendly service and the food and drink was delicious.
I’ve seen a couple reviews saying great service and a few about how rude the owner is. Maybe he has mood swings that he needs help for because I ran into the rude version. We tried this for the first time and it will definitely be the last as no matter how good the food is, being disrespectful will never bring back business. Also, when talking to friends about restaurant recommendations I tell them about the rude owner so more business is lost. Not the smartest move being rude to people who could have possibly been repeat customers and who would have recommended to others .
Diverse selection of savoury and sweet crepes, deliciously prepared and served by friendly, efficient staff in a small, clean and bright place. Go for a walk by the lake after. :-)
We went in a very quiet weekday afternoon around 1:30pm for a new test in the area, but the owner (a middle age man) won't let two of us to seat at table of 5 besides the window even no people coming at all. There was no people coming to take that table at all while we were there. Also paying + tip advance before serving, for a very little portion of brie crepe with soggy dough and salty test of only ice sugar sprinkled but no syrup! Btw, the table mats and coasters are all ripped! Not worth to go!
Very rude and racist manager. My wife was 8 months pregnant when we went there. We asked for a table with shade and he was just plain rude and not accommodating at all. We ended up leaving.
Best crepe ever. The place offers crepe as entree and dessert. I actually like entree style. Too bad you can only fit one crepe at a time! I was there 2/3 years ago.
Good food and a great staff. I would return here again as the food is very fresh. The place is slightly quirky and some of the things that they do but if you love crepes this is the best place to start in downtown Oakville
Delicious crepes of all sorts. Great food all the time. It has became our favorite spot on Sunday for brunch. If you ask my favorite crepe. The strawberries and bananas Nutella crepe!! Very Yummy! Invite your families and friends for a nice brunch on this weekend. You will not regret it!!
Freshly made crepes with fresh fruit. Great quiet atmosphere.
