Great location and menu selection but unfortunately immediately put off by my wife got a cup of coffee with someone else's lipstick stain on it; the response we got was "oh I'm sorry this isn't your shade of lipstick?" COVID or not, basic hygiene shouldn't be compromised on. We ordered pancakes and toast - the toast was like it is anywhere else and the pancakes tasted like cardboard. I'm a big supporter of small businesses but this one just doesn't cut it.

I appreciate we all have personal opinions and perspectives with respect to mask wearing but the government has mandated that all restaurant servers dealing with the public must wear a mask during all interactions with their customers Of the 4 waitress staff I saw the day of my visit to your restaurant only one was wearing a mask properly when dealing with customers The service and food were otherwise good. We are all on edge these days as we are sending our children back to school. Please don't increase our stress level by not adhering to laws put in place to protect us.

Awful experience. I received a coffee mug with lipstick stains on it. We could not believe this could happen during Covid times. We ordered pancakes that tasted like cardboard and kept breaking apart. My husband was so put off , he did not want to order anything. Never returning to this restaurant.

Quickly seated, and greeted with a warm welcome. You're also served coffee; granted you drink coffee. Service was prompt and friendly. In regards to the food, I got the 'Smoked Salmon Benny'. The food was good, and well portioned. Not too much, nor too little. Price is good as well.

I discovered this breakfast place beside a Tim Hortons at the corner of Royal Windsor and Ford Drive. I see a long line up at Tims because of convenience but if you take a little extra time for a coffee and breakfast it's worth a stop at Sunlight Grill. I have been there a few times already and the service, speed and quality is good.

Was a die hard fan - especially of the Greek Salad - however, the past two days in a row - despite posted hours here. They have closed for cleaning, or just closed the kitchen. So disappointed. I won't be returning. Hours of operation are hours of operation - meaning you are open and serving customers. If not - change your hours.

Went for breakfast on the outdoor patio they set up for Covid 19. They served our order to the wrong table. After that table hovered over the food, the restaurant realized the mistake and tried to serve us the same food. Ridiculous. We left. We will never return as their Covid 19 protocols are dangerous. Reading the response from the owner, I am even more disappointed and definitely do not recommend this restaurant. They don't get the point that their servers were trying to serve us food that was originally delivered to another table. I feel sorry for other patrons that this could have happened to but never noticed. Its not about working hard, its about working safe. The response from the owner only shows that they do not get safety in the COVID-19 world. If you choose eat here, eat at your own risk. I am not returning.

I decided to meet my girlfriend at Sunlight Grill! We had a fabulous time. The environment gave off a family-oriented vibe and the staff were really sweet. Going back to August of this year...wanting to support a local business, I ordered brunch for myself and my daughters. There was eggshell in every single order. I took pictures, contacted the restaurant and they offered to send a gift card as an apology. I have contacted them three times since, confirming my address twice and still have not received this gift card. I am Really disappointed. It was totally unpleasant eating egg shells, was willing to try again but don’t appreciate the lie about sending an apology ‘sorry and please try us again’ gift card.

The chicken ceaser wrap was delicious and filling, best we've ever had. The fries werea perfect crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Amazing food with the kindest staff. My partner and I work as recyclers for a waste management company; and we don't have a bathroom available like most jobs. We were declined the restroom from 2 places in that very plaza but the woman working today allowed us to use the restroom without a second thought. She was very kind and didn't make us feel unwelcomed or gross.
