Nice setting . Food was blah. Wife had the seafood pasta very bland as well as the beef and sausage pasta I had. More like hamburger helper!! Service was OK. Way over priced . Maybe should of had the burgers or fish and chips like the majority of the people there.

We've been ordering takeout from Seasons/Bru all through the pandemic and ate on their patio a few times during the summer. Steak N Frites and Prosciutto Wrapped Chicken are our favourites but we've also enjoyed the Bru Buger and Pan Seared Scallops. The Crispy Cauliflower are hot but delicious. You don't even have to get out of the car, they just place it in your trunk so very convenient. Happy to support local business.

My wife and I wanted a nice dinner, for a change without the kids. Downtown Oakville offers plenty of fine dining restaurants with great food, but we wanted something less pretentious, so we picked Seasons. Sunday was not busy, so we were seated right away, our waiter/owner? George was very welcoming, and attentive. My wife wanted a Shiraz that was not on the “sold by the glass list”, but he cracked one open, and my wife had two glasses, made her happy! I started with the rabbit, duck foie gras, pate, that was delicious and a generous portion, I would have liked more bread to even out the portion, which he supplied on request. The waiter remembered that I was unsure if I should try the soup instead, so he brought out a tiny cup of soup, that was delicious and a nice touch! My wife had the beet salad and that too was delicious. For my main meal I had the beef tenderloin, and my wife the Occo bucco on risotto, both delicious and generously sized, not that we eat that much! For dessert my wife and I shared the chocolate cheesecake, which in the end I wished I hadn’t, it was delicious, creamy yet light! Overall a great dinner, great service and a great location downtown Oakville, will be sure to go again!

Made reservations to try this place for the first time. This was well received and so friendly on the phone, which was great. Once we arrived tho, zero welcoming or even acknowledged at all even tho multiple staff walked by us. Waitress warmed up to us after a bit, but just felt like another table to get thru for them to be able to close. I understand it could have been a short staffed, long draining shift for everyone. We’ve all been there, but customers shouldn’t have to feel that. When we left, nobody said goodnight or acknowledged us yet again, even tho we walked by various staff. Just felt cold and uninviting. Walking to the car, passed one of the back of house staff out back who actually said hello to us, spoke to us briefly and wished us a good evening and genuinely with a smile. That was a redeeming moment, as he came across as someone involved and dedicated to the business. We’ve owned, managed and run bars, restaurants and clubs- and this place just missed the customer experience/appreciation aspect that is so vital, regardless of how big or successful they’ve become. To note: food was good, everything so well executed and presented from the kitchen. Drinks were good. Chocolate lava cake was the best thing we ate- that dessert is amazing! But those positives are outweighed and shadowed by the experience.

We had high hopes for this place on one of the last beautiful days of the year, but boy were we disappointed. Service was SO slow, to point that the table behind us, who was seated AFTER us, ate and paid their bill before we even got our food. And to the point that the table who was already there when we arrived wished us good luck on their way out. I think the waitress was handling the whole patio on her own, and if she just explained that or made us aware of the delays we would have understood. But we had no such explanations. When we asked "do you have a drink menu?" she curty answered "no" and was practically on her way to another table. I've never experienced such terrible customer service. On top of that, the food was average and overpriced. During these difficult times I hate to be so hard on small businesses, but this is definitely one establishment we will never return to. Don't be in hospitality if you hate interacting with people.

My wife and I used to go to Seasons for special occasions and always enjoyed the food and service. We hadn't been there is a couple years and I booked a family dinner there for the day before Mothers Day. When we arrived they had lost our reservation but stuck us at a small table in a crowded, busy traffic area. I wouldnt even call what we received from there service. Half an hour for a server to come by... we were there over an hour before the appetizers came out. Dinner quality was average and 45 minutes after finishing dinner, noone had even come by to offer desert or coffee despite the dozens of trips made by our server and others past our table. We eventually just left... doubt we will go back anytime soon.

Superb location in the heart of old Oakville. Efficient and friendly service, creative specials and reasonably priced for well executed high end fare. Gets pretty loud on busy nights (reverberant brick construction). Great place for parties/events in private rooms. It is an ambitious endeavor to pull all these elements together and Seasons does an admirable job of it.

We had dinner on the patio recently, and we were both disappointed with the lack of physical distancing that was taking place as well as noticing that our waiter/owner was not wearing a mask at all times. He had a bandanna around his neck that was more of an unused accessory. Other restaurants in the area seem to be doing a far better job taking into consideration covid-19 precautions. Food was aok, but nothing to ride home about. We won’t be back.

Had a great time at Seasons about a month ago, and the owner George was so sweet! He kept passing by to ask if we were OK and also offered to top my wine. We ended up staying a bit longer than anticipated and he actually served us cappuccinos on the house! The food was ahmazing!!! We will sure be back to enjoy the ambiance and the food in the summer ????????. If I could rate this restaurant with 10 stars, I would in a heartbeat!

In my opinion, the restaurant is nothing to rave about. Fish and chips is served without any coleslaw - never encountered such a skimpy approach. A bottle of water is a complete rip-off at $8! We won't be back.

I got the Mother's Day meals and they were amazing. Steak, Shrimp, Salmon, all the sides, the desserts were all above and beyond. My parents were so happy. Went back for a charcuterie board this week for a birthday and it was beyond my expectations. Amazing experience, top quality food and premium service.

Was greeted by the owner, George, around 3 on a Sunday afternoon who obliged us by leaving the kitchen open and serving one table, personally. He did this very well while preparing the rest of the restaurant for dinner. He later joined the table and we compared notes on the Toronto and Oakville restaurant scenes-the latter in which he has been a hardworking proprietor for over 20 years (bru and corks on lakeshore blvd. are also his). Enjoyed his openness and sly humour as I displayed my typical indecisiveness at choosing a first time entree from his varied but concise menu and daily specials. Homemade fresh Portuguese bread was eventually enjoyed along with the Caesar and beet and warm goat cheese salads and the salmon and lamb shank mains. Everything was fresh of fine quality and very flavourful. It's like classic homecooking with a twist (chicken pie in puff pastry; bison orrrechiette bolognese) if the chef was very deft and sourcing the finest ingredients. Portion sizes were appropriate but I would like to have seen a few more greens with my beet salad, notwithstanding that it was delicious and beautifully plated. The Caesar with the baby leaves chorizo and grand padano shavings was perfect. This is elevated yet relaxed dining in a bright comfortable astutely designed historic space. Should definitely be on ones list when in Oakville.

Delicious food, stellar service and cosy decor. A wonderful establishment for a date night. She had the Scallop Risotto, and I had the Stuffed Pork Chop. Both cooked and seasoned perfectly, and generous portion sizes. Will definitely be coming back, once the lockdown is over with!

Split the turkey club with the wife and it was super fresh and satisfying. The lemon (something) dessert recommend and served by the Chef was a great touch. Will return for sure! Highly recommended

I was surprised how good this restaurant was. I had expected the kind of bland pseudo continental style that goes down well in suburban GTA. But no, the kitchen here has some chops. My lamb was perfection. Decor a bit choppy, service competent, nicely chosen Rioja crianza by the glass. Worth a visit.

My friend Nick Davis from Sothebys Realty (across the street above Paradiso) bought me there for a business meeting. I hit every restaurant in Oakville except this one. Paradiso (always consistent, great food), Olivers (Incredible, like eating at a fine NY hotel bar, and I am a New Yorker), Jonathans? (great space great bar...food not always consistent)...Seasons...kicked my ass, great service, great staff and the owner...George? the sweetest ,man, wiating tables, bringing wine, talking to guests, like it was his first opening night! The food was FLAWLESS (Ravioli and duck appetizer? Daffy tasted like bacon). The meal was perfection. There is nothing that you could say about Seasons to deter me. I am in love. I will be a regular (and the bar? is spot on)

We have been ordering BRU and seasons takeout food menu, it is as good as when we would eat in the restaurant. We like the rack of lamb and molten lava cake . This is the best takeout food you can get in downtown Oakville at this time .

We decided to have a small intimate wedding and were stuck with where to have the ceremony and reception. George was so friendly and made the whole process so easy even though we only gave him about 6 weeks notice for a Christmas time wedding. Tammy walked us through the whole setup and menu and we were able to get our cake and flowers delivered there so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Everyone raved about the food! It was the absolute perfect day and I can’t thank them enough. Can’t wait to celebrate every anniversary at Seasons!

We had an amazing dinner during Taste of Oakville event. The menu had a variety of options for different tastes, Lamp, Beef, Fish and Shrimps, Options of the Taste of Oakville is different than the regular menu. We ordered a bottle of white wine and enjoyed the evening in an amazing atmosphere. The place was just packed, good we had a reservation done, I highly recommend you place yours in advance too. waiters were as fast as they could and the owner of the place was running all night assisting them, I appreciated how he was attentive to all his gusts.

Seasons hosted an intimate wedding reception after our City Hall ceremony, and blew away our expectations. The process was absolutely effortless from start to finish, thanks to George – we basically just had to walk in the door! Our guests raved about the food, ambience, and the seamless service. Plus, the pricing was so incredibly reasonable compared to the high quality we received – especially compared to other restaurants in the area. I strongly recommend hosting any private events at Seasons!

$16 for this drink. It’s Sobey’s brand guava juice and a splash of cheap champagne!!! SHE EVEN MADE IT IN FRONT OF US!!!!! $16 and they even left the SEED IN THE LEMON!!! They sell beers but they don’t even have pints available. Only HALF pints!!! The food is overpriced considering how basic their flavour is. We had the fried cauliflower and it tasted complex. Only to learn they just used “Sriracha sauce, corn syrup, and butter.” We expected so much more for these prices and this area. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I would NEVER RECOMMEND. The only people that would enjoy here would be like the PRETENTIOUS guy eating his burger with a KNIFE AND FORK on the patio. Ya. Go somewhere else. TRUST ME.

Visited Seasons last night finally after passing by it a number of times - and I’m really glad we did! It was a small group and I had made a reservation ahead of time. Host and any of the staff we dealt with were super personable, sweet and attentive. The ambience in the restaurant was upscale without being pretentious. Food was delicious - my friends and I got soup and fries to start, followed by mains of risotto and zucchini noodles with chicken. Shared a dessert as well. Only reason for the three stars is that the host didn’t ask for vaccine proof and ID at the entrance, and staff were not properly wearing masks. With the recent rise in cases, it just left me on edge and I did not feel comfortable. I could’ve walked out but I felt like that was rude. I would love to return but do wish management and staff adhere to the provincial policies for COVID.

We went there for Oakville winterlicious and had a really great time. The restaurant is really well decorated inside and the manager or owner was very friendly and down to earth. The staff too was very friendly and really approachable as well. The food was excellent, and for a tasting menu was really well portioned. I like that they offered a game meat, and I had the bison The bread they served was really nice! It was thick and hard and I was thinking it wasn't fresh but it was actually more like a cake. Bread but sweet. It was a really nice surprise.

Seasons Restaurant is an exceptional restaurant in downtown Oakville. I hosted a party for 100 people there and my guests were astonished by the food, the environment, and the staff. George is really kind and is able to host his guests in a personable way. We really appreciated dealing with him and having our guests enjoy that experience. Highly recommend it.

When I went there with friends I called ahead to ensure their patio had an opening. Weirdly enough they were the only restaurant in downtown oakville with an opening without reservation which I would soon find out was for a reason. After they told me that they had space they guided me towards the restaurant which took several calls as they repeatedly gave false and miss leading information to their location. However at the time I didn’t see this is a big deal as I was glad to see that there was an opening at a restaurant in which I could sit with my friends. Once we sat down we were asked for what we wanted to drink without yet seeing the drink menus and being told that there were no drink menus at a restaurant which is quite abnormal. However after we had finished our order we then we’re given a drink menu after being lied to that there were none. After looking at the drink menu we realized the three Mojito‘s we ordered between the three of us we’re going to cost $60 which is absurdly high, even for downtown Oakville. But we look past this as we realize that this is the only restaurant open in Downtown Oakville and we didn’t have the choice of literally any of the other Oakville restaurants as they all wanted reservations. Once the drinks came and we had our first sip and we realize it was basically juice and there was no rum inside of there. When we called the waitress over to tell her about this problem, she went back to check and there was she responded by saying that there were was rum in the drinks clearly lacking any form of alcohol. She then called the manager over who told us that the bartender “knew what they were doing” which was clearly a second lie of the evening as we knew anyone which experience could have known that we were just served juice for $60. The solution the manager offered were “additional” shots which at the time sounded great until they tried to sell us just two shots for $20 of cheap rum to solve the problem that they created in the first place . Overall it was a really awful experience at seasons that I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to these arrogant cheap and overcharging losers. Instead please book a reservation ahead of time and go somewhere nice.

We were interested to book the private room upstairs for a party of 40 people. First impression, resturant was elegant, nice table setting, etc. However, having a nice resturant doesn’t always sell. The reason why we didn’t choose this place because we did not get a contract from the restaurant. This left me calling George couple of times to confirm details for there was nothing on paper. He did not remember who we were the times I called in and felt really rushed. Our interaction with Seasons gradually lost our confidence in them delivering for us. I am giving 2 stars rating for its elegance, although the main room was ice cold when we came in to see it.

Great experience and food. This restaurant may have smaller menu but everything is extremely high quality and made from scratch. The staff is very easy going along with a good and fun attitude. I came here with some close friends celebrating a birthday and we ordered the lamb chops and seared scallops on top of risotto. The lamb was tender and juicy, the scallops were cooked to perfection leaving that smooth consistency and texture when biting in. The risotto was rich and the perfect portion. Make sure you ask for the daily dessert, I was happy to hear they had some freshly made carrot cake which was the perfect way to end the evening. Will come here again.

We hosted a surprise anniversary party for our parents at Seasons and it was amazing. George made planning easy and took care of everything. The service and food were excellent - our guests were well fed. Instead of setting a fixed menu ahead of time like many other restaurants (i.e 4 passed apps per person) he had multiple platters set out and kept bringing food out as long as guests were still there - - all at a very competitive price. The party space itself was also gorgeous and thoughtfully laid out. Thank you George and everyone at Seasons!!

WEAR YOUR MASKS!!! Do you not care about your customers? Went for dinner last night and you would think that a "nicer" establishment would be even stricter with their hygiene, but servers carrying our food out to us with their unmasked mouths a foot away from our food that they were carrying out to us. Worries me to think what else is being skipped over. Almost wanted to leave but didn't want to make a scene with my friend. Still, the whole attempt made me feel uncomfortable to be there and so wouldn't go back again. Whether it was also because of my unease, I felt the food was only "good" and on the pricier side. In a prime location I expected better food and service. Such a shame. We noticed afterwards that the other restaurants in the area had servers wearing masks. I think 1 or 2 stars here is a reasonable rating.

What an absolute life saver George and the staff were to us. With our wedding venue cancelling on us less than a week before our wedding date, Seasons stepped up and took care of everything. From the moment we met with George, he said "let me take care of everything" and he sure came through. From providing an even better venue, plus food beyond what we could have asked for, the staff was professional and quick to help with any needs we may have had. The day was 1000 times better than what we had originally and hoped for. Only the upmost praise from everyone who attended. Such gratitude to George for all he did and his professionalism. The day was breathtaking and even still all the stress was taken off our shoulders. I would even say perfect. Just an awesome, awesome day Complete recommendations for any party or event you may have, but even for just a nice delicious meal.

I had my baby shower here and everything was absolutely perfect. The owner did everything to make me happy and scheduled his best server to my party. She was absolutely incredible, in addition to playing DJ, and despite making the climb up and down the stairs MULTIPLE TIMES, Ashley was able to tend to over 30 ladies all while keeping the hot food coming. My baby shower was everything I always dreamt it would be. The room is gorgeous, the food was delicious, my guests enjoyed themselves and so did I! I can’t thank Seasons enough. Definitely recommend. This place is absolutely wonderful! My cousins celebrated their wedding here YESTERDAY and I'm already here to leave a review - should tell you how good the experience was. The atmosphere was so lovely, and the owner George made sure that a wonderful space was set up for the ceremony and for us to enjoy the delicious meal. All the food was excellent, but for me the star of the show was the steak - I'm bad with names of cuts of meat but I think it was a rib eye, and it was cooked perfectly (medium). I am VERY picky about steak and I think this might have been the best I've ever had the joy of eating in my entire life. The pasta as well was excellent - my family is Italian so we know a good sauce when we taste one! The dessert, also, was a lovely crême brulée with a delightfully crispy top. The wait staff were patient, friendly, and kind, as was the owner himself. I totally 100% recommend this place to anyone, whether for dinner, or whether you're thinking of holding a special event here - your guests will be VERY pleased and well-fed.

Went recently with family, the patio was tight and busy as it was a Saturday night, but they found us a table within ten minutes. It rained, but there were umbrellas - the food was amazing and the service was impeccable. I celebrated my birthday here, this week, and it was amazing. The food, the drinks, the service, the atmosphere were all on point. I must say though, when my group walked into the restaurant, an older male bartender ushered us to “join the group downstairs”, although we were actually only a table of four. When we corrected him and said “we don’t have another group”, a female server prepared a table for us. Later on, we realized there was a large group of black girls having a birthday party downstairs. Im not sure how I feel about this, but id like to remind people to be socially aware and careful not to make assumptions regarding skin color. It’s should not have been the first question as we walked through the door, maybe next time try “are you joining a reservation?” Im sure it was harmless, but it did leave a bitter taste in my mouth.

Delicious food and great service! We went for the “taste of Oakville” menu and we picked the braised octopus, the seafood fettuccine and the creme brûlée. The octopus and the seafood (shrimp, squid, scallops, mussels) were cooked to absolute perfection! The fettuccine sauce was very unique and our favorite thing of the night. The chef himself served us and he was very polite and helpful. The three courses were done in an hour, so very fast service as well. Will definitely visit again! Also, just heard the table next to us raving about the food too and the wine :)

We had booked a special evening there to celebrate a few milestones in our family. We had booked a private room as there were 10 of us. We had people driving in from KW and East TO.. we wanted to find a nice restaurant to impress...Where to start...When we got there we were put at a long table, not in a private room - no explanation. The staff kept going out the side door and leaving it open where a cold draft would come in. We had to get up 5 times to close it. The service was SLOW and not good. They mixed up orders, changed one order without telling us - finally after asking 3 servers why - they said they ran out of the special so here was something else! Unreal. When the steaks/lamb etc was finally served, we had to wait another 10 mins for knives while the dish went cold. One order was obviously forgotten so that person had to wait while the rest of us started. The steaks were not cooked as asked. Anyways - I don't complain usually - but this was a joke! The staff didn't offer a discount or anything. They almost seemed like it was the norm. All that being said : the food was ok, small portions though. I will never go back.

Went to the patio last week and was very disappointed with the non mask wearing. It made me uncomfortable that both the owner, host and servers were not wearing any. Food was as good as usual. Was a little disappointed that they only had one beer on draft but I can understand. That said they also had an uninspiring bottle and can selection, which is disappointing since I've gone to Bru for years for their selection.

I wouldn't even rate Seasons a 1. I had a late lunch with my girlfriend on Sunday and I don't even know where to begin. Let's just say the entire experience from the get go was horrific and dealt with terribly by management. When we arrived we were told to pick an available table. After we sat down we had a waitress that seemed to be intoxicated come up to us as asked what we wanted. We asked for a drink menu and she said they didn't have any drink menus. She laid down the menus and walked away. A few moments later another server approached our table, he asked what we were drinking. There was no drink menu provided so we had to ask about the drinks. We went with sangria.. which thankfully was the only good part of the experience. We placed our food order. My friend ordered the best and pear salad and artichoke bites. I ordered just fries as I was hoping to enjoy patio time and drinks. The salad arrived and to say the least it was 15.00 + and it was the smallest salad I'd ever seen. It could fit into the palm of a hand. The beats and pears were very slimy almost tasted as if from a can. The salad was sauggy as if the dressing had been sitting on it all day. We flagged down the waiter and replaced the salad with another side of fries. In the meantime we had the chef/manager come to the table with NO mask and started telling us his specials after we had already ordered and sent food back. He then asked my friend he nationality in the creepiest way and after she responded italian he said oh well you look very haspanic to me, and walked away. Finally my fries and the artichoke bites arrived. Hoping it would redeem our so far experience it most definitely didn't. There was a gray hair fried into one of the artichoke bites and was spotted before even being able to try it. Once again we flagged over the server. We explained the situation and how un happy we were with the expirence. He said 'well I only work here' we asked him to take the food back, the manager over heard and said 'oh let me guess you don't like this either' In a sarcastic condensending tone. My friend explained and he didn't seem to care what we were saying.. he treated us as if we seemed to be the problem. He then said finish your drinks and leave. When we said we would pay for our drinks, he responded im comping your meal and if you continue to complain I won't. We left in absolute awe and disappointment. I love to support local however I will never eat here again nor ever recommend this place.

Service was slow and steak came out cold and strangely had little taste. Owner was again very friendly and atmosphere very hospitable. First experience there was much better. I want to rate this place 0 stars for their customer service. I can’t comment on their food because we felt so unwanted that we did not dine in. We were 6 people and given a table by the owner and then he wanted us to move as he suddenly realized there are more than 10 people and he wanted us to move and behaved rudely and clearly don’t want to serve us. If there were no seats available he shouldn’t have given it. We would have waited or maybe go to another restaurant. And rather being polite, he was rude and discourteous. Worst customer service!!

Caesar salad and seafood pasta for two, with a shared chocolate lava cake for dessert, ready at the curbside pickup at the pre-arranged time, delivered to the car by George, the owner and principal host. Easily ordered in advance, no waiting at the appointed pick-up time, and outstanding food at a reasonable price. A great experience. We'll be back for more.

Insane pricing, decent food overall. Paid 14 bucks for a Beet/Goat Cheese Salad that was about 10 lettuce leaves, a small piece of goat cheese and a few beats and peaches. This salad looked like it should cost 6 bucks. The fact that I can get a better salad at Kelseys is baffling for the cost. 40 bucks for 2 small seabass fillets seemed a bit ridiculous. That being said, the food was fairly good overall, but not worth the price of admission. The fries are just frozen McCain.

TLDR; some staff don’t wear masks and manager didn’t care when I mentioned this I was at the restaurant today with my family. Food is pricier but tasty. Unfortunately, we were eating indoors and while our primary server was pleasant, there were more than one staff members who weren’t wearing their masks while serving us our food indoors. At this point in the pandemic, the rules are clear - servers wear a mask indoors. When I called afterwards, spoke to multiple staff, I was met with indifference and irritation. I don’t plan on spending money here in the future as the staff lacks ability to follow basic safety protocols.

Seasons hosted our wedding, and exceeded expectations. Our family generally does large banquet halls with lots of people, but we wanted something more intimate. Our family never said anything negative about the plan, but we could tell they weren't too enthusiastic about the idea. Having had a couple meals there in the past, knowing how great the food always was, we knew it would a fantastic experience. To make this shorter than it could be, when I complimented George and his team in my speech, everybody applauded. The service, the food, and the atmosphere exceeded everyone's expectations. We could not thank George and his team enough. We're looking forward to visiting George for years to come.

I came here for my birthday in December with my husband and best friend. The service was slow and there were 5 tables in the restaurant. We had to go to the bar to ask for more drinks, we didn’t have cutlery and when our food arrived, the waitress had attitude and was not polite. Not to mention my friend who is vegan asked prior before ordering her meal if there were any animal products used in her dish and the waitress said no. After finding cheese in her meal we sent it back and spoke to the manager George he as well was rude and unprofessional arguing with me because he didn’t know the difference between vegan and vegetarian. Working in the restaurant industry it is vital to know the difference. At the end he still tried to charge us the dish we sent back and didn’t eat. Our bill was $300 and they didn’t even give a birthday desert or anything for the disappointing evening. Moving forward myself and a couple of friends decided to give the place a second chance since the aesthetic is beautiful and I can confidently say the service was even worse the second time round. The place did not follow covid precautions and all four of us girls order plain rosé pasta and it took an hour and 15 mins to receive it. We didn’t get our drinks from our waitress , we had to ask the busboy. And when the food finally arrived I had French fries in my pasta. The only thing that made up was that the manager took care of the first round of drinks but it’s still not acceptable. Won’t be coming back here!

Went for lunch for the third time recently.Food & Service was good so we decided to go again, however our third visit was not the best.Poor service, and food was not worth the money they charge.I ordered feature for that day, salmon on a bed if greens. One cup at the most of greens( salad) with chunks of salmon with a very salty soy sauce( no dressing on the salad). Could not finish as it was too salty and tasteless. Husband had a steak frites for $41. When the bill was given to my hubby,we were flabbergasted by the $24 charge for the salad.The waiter did not tell us what the charge was when we asked about the features that day.I believe that it is customary in many restaurants to give the price of features as they are not in the menu. We paid the bill without mention to the waiter as he was not exactly friendly or did not give us good service. I feel that restaurants are now overcharging for their food( lunch )realize that food costs have gone up,but $24 for a salad is abusing customers.We will try another lunch place next time.

My wife and I have not been to Season for quite awhile. We went with friends that frequent the place regularly. My meal was excellent. Silky parsnip soup, warm winter salad and halibut main. The soup hit the spot to start our winter season. The salad was delicious. Ended up sharing more than half with my wife because she liked it so much. It could have been a main course. I have not been ordering halibut much because it's usual been dry and over cooked. The halibut was perfect with sides of vegetables, greens and a wonderful sauce on top. We will return.

Terrible dining experience. Went to the restaurant for the first time for our anniversary and were completely disappointed. The appetizer had one small piece of octopus for $24.....My main meal came to the table cold and when I mentioned to the server the owner brought it back out reheated (microwaved) without remaking the dish, completely unacceptable for a $39 meal. An utter disappointment for a special $200 evening. Coctails were watered down. Owner, bus boys, hosts werent even wearing masks.

Exceptional dining experience! Our waitress, Ashley, was very attentive yet unobtrusive. I had the prosciutto wrapped chicken supreme which was divine. The only reason I did not give 5* was because there was no host/hostess to greet me upon arrival (and I had a reservation); I wandered around for 5 or 6 minutes, thinking perhaps I had stepped into the wrong restaurant. Aside from that, it was excellent and I can't wait to go back! :)

This past weekend, me and my now wife had our wedding here. From the very beginning the owners Tammy and George were incredibly helpful, and went as far as to set up all of the decor, create a specialized menu and drink list (Including craft beer), and were even present on the actual night ,with George helping to serve and Tammy cooking one of the best meals we have ever had. The entire night, and still a few days later our guests cannot stop telling us how beautiful the venue was, and how great the food tasted. Normally, I tend to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt during covid...but i'm in disbelief that this restaurant has a 4.4 rating because of how disappointing our experience was today. 1) POOR COMMUNICATION - We ordered the soup special, but it never came. Nobody mentioned to us that it was sold out until we asked. It would have been nice to know that it was never going to come. We asked for a coke, that also didn't come. When we followed up with the server/manager, he didn't acknowledge our question...he just ignored us. 2) UNORGANIZED - Their portions are hit or miss. A couple of us ordered the same seafood pasta, but mine had about 2/4 of the portion of the next person. They had 7 mussels whereas I had 4. Some had more sauce, and even noticeably bigger portion of pasta. Entrees didn't come out together. If you want to enjoy your time, go somewhere else. 3) CHARGED US MORE - When we received the bill, it was very odd that it was hand written (barely legible). I don't think I've seen a non-system generated invoice in a long time. I decided to check the items line by line and realized that they charged us $40 dollars extra! THEY CHARGED US MORE. This was disappointing. They had added an extra appetizer that we didn't order, and increased the price of our entrees on the bill. When we decided to double check with the server/manager who was responsible for writing the handwritten bill, he claimed 1) he misremembered the price of the entree 2) forgot that we didn't end up getting the soup 3) he thought coke read cauliflower (his own writing). It's so suspicious that anybody who manages a restaurant would forget their own prices. Extremely suspicious.If you do decide to come here ...CHECK YOUR BILL! 4) POOR COVID PROTOCOLS - The servers tend to forget to wear their masks when they are around you. I understand if the table was outside, but if you're inside...no excuses. Two times, two different servers who came by to speak with us, took their masks down to talk THEN put it back on once they finished (??). Wear your mask In conclusion, I'm still in disbelief the restaurant currently has a 4.4 review because there seems to be a lot wrong here. I didn't really feel like I was treated like a customer. They seemed very unorganized in both in the kitchen and on the floor- we always had to follow up. The food was a bit bland (but I can see how it can have potential). Last, but not least (actually most importantly), this was the first time in a long time I've even seen or received a PAPER BILL and of course WE WERE CHARGED MORE! STAY AWAY. We tried most of the restaurants in that Oakville area and this is the worst. If you are looking for something, try Hexagon or 7 Enoteca. They are around the same price range, but the food and service you get is top notch. There's just something suspicious of this restaurant.

Still surprised seeing such posh reviews, but it is always what you compare to… it is a decent place. Food is good but nothing authentic or “out of the box” and they use a lots of oil. I would also not recommend ordering “custom drink” because they charge arm and a leg for New York sour without simple syrup and not to much whiskey so it tasted okay but at $17 that’s just no no in my opinion. Other fancy spots charge less for for authentic cocktails with the good taste. Visited on Christmas Eve.

Whenever I go to a restaurant I almost always get a steak dinner so I've had my fair share. Their steak was cooked accordingly but had no spice to it nor flavor, I've had much cheaper that tasted a lot better. My boyfriend got wings and he found them too fatty and slimy. i came to the seasons restaurant for a party (there are two parts to the restaurant one for dinner and the other for small get together/party) the side we were in had a very rustic feel and soft lighting we had our own music and a open bar, the food that was served was some of the best tasting orderves I've ever had to give you an example of the orderves I had were lamb chops,juice sliders. overall it was a great experience

We chose Seasons for our daughter's baptism. We had around 40 people and a private space. It was wonderful! The restaurant is beautiful, the food was delicious and everyone wouldn't stop raving about it. Food was inconsistent at best (squash soup was delicious, but the turkey club was dry and kind of awful). I don't like that there aren't any descriptions in their menu. It resulted in some surprises that would have made me select different food. The coffee was bland. They didn't present a beer list, which seems bizarre for a venue trying to continue to use the Bru brand. For a place that tries to create a higher-end image, the food is really lacking. The service was very good.

We opted for Season's because of its high rating but I was disappointed by their service. The ambience is great but the food was bland and uncooked. No one came to check on us or to ask for anything else. We were not even served water. At the time of payment, we gave our feedback to the waitress but she did not even apologize for it and just said "I will let the chef know". Dining at this place was a bad and infuriating experience from start to finish. It started with the reservations. An insolent woman took it. She was curt and brusque, hardly deigned to answer any question and abruptly hung up on me while I was in the middle of a sentence! Against my better judgment, we attended the restaurant and were further disappointed. Mediocre food, tardy subpar service and overpriced menu! Extremely overrated! Here's what I have to say to the management: if you think that training or tolerating your staff to act indecorous and complacent and downright rude towards your patrons, would give you the patina of exclusivity and superiority, you're dead wrong! All it does is to disgust us and drive us away. Most of us don't choose to spend our money where we are disparaged and disappointed! People pay your exorbitant prices to get good food and attentive respectful service, not to be subjected to your uncouth assinine staff! Wise up!

We’ve eaten at Seasons numerous times and find the quality both consistent and exceptional. This is a very good kitchen. George and his staff know what they’re doing and do it well. The decor is original, beautiful and upscale. Service can be a little slow because of staffing issues post Covid but we find the wait is always well worth it. Great staff, food and ambiance. Had a private function in one of the private rooms and it was set up very nicely. We were given a prix fixed menu with so many options and the staff was very accommodating to our dietary restrictions. Food portions were generous. We had our wedding here in the upstairs rooms late September. Everything was AMAZING and we loved the entire night! The location is absolutely stunning with plenty of room for large parties (we had 28 guests but the space could have accommodated a MUCH larger party!). George and his team were absolutely amazing and set everything up for us in advance - this paired with the fact that the restaurant is already gorgeous as it is took a lot of decorating stress off for us during planning! The food, drinks and our server all exceeded our expectations - we had multiple starters and our server was consistently making sure we all had food and drinks before our dinner - even running downstairs to the bar for extra drinks throughout the evening. He was friendly, professional and accommodating. Our dinner was four courses including an antipasto dish, mixed greens salad, main dish of salmon, stuffed chicken, steak or lamb shank, and Crème Brûlée for dessert! Everything was absolutely delicious (I had the steak and my husband had the lamb shank and both were amazing, and I especially loved the Crème Brûlée!). Our guests kept commenting that this was the best dinner they have ever had at a wedding - even the picky eaters were thrilled! Overall I would HIGHLY recommend Seasons, especially if you are planning an event or wedding! Thank you for an amazing night!
