First server we had wasn’t so great, but switched to server 2 shortly into our visit and she was great! The venue is a bit tight for space, but overall a charming cozy modernistic vibe that was great for a double date. Food was excellent and prices while high, not unreasonable for the product. Definitely visiting again!

Ambiance was nice. Food did not meet our expectations but the overall experience was not bad. Our server was extremely nice, however I witnessed some talking smack, which did not impress considering the restaurant's image as higher-end. One of the best restaurants west of Toronto. We had the Gnocchi and Bucatini and realized that their pasta is world class. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It is in a new construction building and has a great modern feel that is still welcoming to everyone. Service was the one of the highlights. The people looking after you are fantastic. They treat you with respect and friendliness all while making you feel like you are eating at their home. This is definitely going to be one of the gems of Oakville for the foreseeable future.

I had booked a reservation a month in advance for this past weekend to celebrate my best friends engagement and had originally requested the patio. When we arrived, we were told that there wasn’t anything available on the patio so we would be seated inside. We mentioned that we had booked the patio, however he stated that the patio is on a first come first serve basis. We were a little confused because we are not sure what reservations are for then? We then ordered the Sotto Sotto pizza which on the menu, says comes with burrata. When we got the pizza, there was NO burrata but instead mozerella as a replacement. We were confused about this because we were not advised by our server while ordering that they were out of burrata. If we wanted mozerella we would’ve ordered a Margherita. Afterwards, we did hear the server tell another table they don’t have burrata today. So if they didn’t have burrata why wouldn’t he inform us when we ordered the pizza? I’m assuming our server thought we wouldn’t realize the difference, but of course we did. When ordering the gnocchi pasta dish, we were advised that they ran out of it. Ran out? Of gnocchi? In an Italian restaurant? It is clear that they don’t order enough ingredients, which is shocking considering they are supposed to be a “high-end restaurant” We also dealt with an AWFUL situation with the guy who clears the plates, which was dealt with directly at the restaurant. Overall, a night that was supposed to be enjoyable, celebrating the bride-to-be was full of frustration and disbelief. Sotto Sotto Oakville does not offer the up-scale Italian dining experience that you would imagine it to be, which is extremely disappointing considering their over-priced menu items. Service was also extremely slow. Save your money and go some where else, trust me. Terroni in Toronto is a MUCH better option. I will not be returning, and will be sure to share my experience with others.

We recently went to celebrate my bday at Sotto Sotto Oakville. The food was delicious and our waitress, Grace, went above and beyond (even accommodating a last minute entree switch) to make sure my husband and I got everything we could ever want. We have reservations coming up and we can’t wait for another fabulous meal, and, fingers crossed, Grace will be there again. Thank you, Grace and the Sotto Sotto team for making my bday so memorable! Ps the shrimps and the cacio e Pepe are divine!!

I was keen on visiting, when i discovered Sotto Sotto opened as restaurant in Oakville. I imagined the service and food would be comparable to their location in Toronto and, I was correct. The service was friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.

Really small portions, not worth the price. Extremely small and crammed space with tables literally on top of each other. We went there to celebrate our anniversary and I was really disappointed with my meal. I got the eggplant Parmesan and it was such a small portion- barely even one square. Definitely not going back.

Managed to walk in on a Friday evening. Service was excellent (although they did miss our side order of Rapini) - very attentive and friendly. Food was good too - catered to our special request. Ceaser salad and cheese plate to start with pizza and custom pasta dish for mains. Space seems choppy but is decorated nicely.

Just came from New Years dinner and it was outstanding. The service was excellent and made my husband and I feel that we made the right choice. The manager Shay personally welcomed us and chatted with us throughout the evening as did Nazareno who was very personable. The food was excellent. We had the ceasar salad and Cornish hen for dinner. It was great. Will be back to try the pizza! Thanks for a great evening.

Was here for lunch last week. It was OK. Service was great but food was only OK. The calamari and other seafood was average. Nothing really wowed me to think Sotto Sotto was "all that". I would like to try it again but....

The food was great but the service was not good. We requested a patio seating and even though it was very warm and cozy, the table wasn’t set properly. There were no napkins and utensils at the table so we had to ask the server for it. We weren’t offered bread either but it came upon request. The food tasted great but I found the service wasn’t worth the $$$ you spent at this restaurant.

Went in December and I'll say portion size too small for price and food isn't all what it's made out to be. Thought I'd go with some friends to see what the hype was about. Service wasn't that great either. The buss boy was better than our server.

I am ???? percent loyal to local Oakville restaurants and I am super thrilled when new refined restaurants enter the local market but… I am a foodie with tons of culinary experiences world wide … so Good - Osso Bucco - carefully prepared and braised. Bad - Service - tad disappointed - we should never wait … not for water or wine … I am happy to pay a premium for food and service but make us feel special - it is a basic.

I had the artisanal orecchiette with broccoli - so simple, yet the flavor was really intense without it tasting only of cheese and butter. We also had the saltimbocca, which were excellent. So were the spaghetti carbonara with guanciale instead of bacon. The piece de resistance was the ricotta cheese cake, light yet creamy, with a topping that was a perfectly suited blend of different summer berries and a little chocolate.

When I heard Sotto was opening up in my area I was ecstatic to finally have that amazing Toronto experience close to home. Unfortunately they did not bring those standards to this new location. Upon being seated the atmosphere is nice, however the tables are far to close to each other, it was like I was having dinner with the people to my left and to my right. Service also fell short in a few areas: server didn’t know market price of fish, asked for extra side dressing for salad and was forgotten about, the clean up of finished dishes was exceptionally long. Food however was phenomenal... the octopus starter was 10/10, the red snapper main was outstanding (Except I did ask for it to be deboned and unfortunately I did find a couple bones). For desert they listed crème brûlée and was informed they’re out... being opening weekend to the public, it was disappointing to hear. All in all I hope they work out the rough start as I would love to return.

An unfortunate dining experience - extremely disappointing with a group of girlfriends When we first entered we were told that the reservation was running a bit behind and we would be seated shortly. No big deal and we were quite understanding … 45 minutes later after many back and forths about when our table would be ready we were finally seated. We were frustrated at this point as every 10 minutes we were told it would only be a few more minutes.. They offered complimentary champagne on our seating which was a nice gesture.. except one of our friends was very clearly pregnant. For an upscale restaurant, they clearly could not read their group After seating it took nearly 20 minutes to get the menus (which we had to request) and then 2 hours from our initial reservation time we were finally served our appetizers.. As the salads came out we noted one of the salads had bacon and we had specifically ordered vegetarian options. When we pointed out that was the wrong salad to the waiter.. he first insisted that was the one we ordered and there was no bacon… um what?? Servers were friendly but not mature for a finer dining restaurant. To end they offered us complimentary dessert which we were grateful for but then they laughed it off saying that the Prosecco and dessert should make it up for all of the delays.. I had to give them a friendly reminder that although the complimentary stuff is appreciated .. our evening was really thrown off and we had to cancel our plans after dinner due to all delays. We were also very exhausted after the longer than anticipated evening at Sotto Sotto Oakville I have to say the food was amazing otherwise my review would be a 1 star. But at this price you aren’t just dining for food but also the experience. Very disappointed given my fond memories at the Toronto location before moving out West.

Amazing Italian by Oakville Lakeshore. Vegetarian friendly. The restaurant itself is beautiful and so is the food. Pasta is cooked perfectly al dente and is so flavourful. The mushroom pasta is highly recommended, it is not your typical intense mushroom truffle affair, it is savoury, with some acidity from tomatoes (but not a tomato sauce) that creates such a delicate balance. Pizza is worth trying here too. The wine selection is top notch. All price points here. Dessert cant be forgotten about either. The cannoli is real star of the show here. Nice crispy shells with a mild chocolate infused ricotta topped on a raspberry drizzle.

I am absolutely disgusted with the way this restaurant is handling the pandemic. I had dinner here on August 28th and the server/employee at the front podium PULLED DOWN his mask to speak to us at our table. I understand stepping outside for fresh air, but there is no excuse for any employee to be pulling down their mask to speak to us. He was perfectly audible with the mask on, and I find that this is incredibly negligent.

Our first time here and it was absolutely amazing! So many options to choose from and the wine menu is a nice selection as well. The food was cooked perfectly, the appetizers and entrees were both very flavourful and authentic. The patio was very nice as well. A true Italian restaurant, we will definitely come back.

Let me start by saying that I am a long-time patron of the Toronto location and have never been disappointed. I have wanted to try the Oakville restaurant for some time and was very very excited to get a New Year's Eve reservation. Other than that – that's where the positive comments end. While the location is superb and the building is elegant, the restaurant itself is a dump. Absolutely no style what-so-ever. Cramped space, with tables too close together, zero atmosphere (especially at the holidays) unless you consider the brown/dying plants as a barrier to the other table in front of me and the pile of boxes and other recycling clogging the window of the wine cellar that my partner and I were seated up against. Also, the washroom was filthy and tacky. The plastic plants and pile of dirty water under the hand dryer was especially gross. Shocked (totally). Now that I've set the ambiance – let me share our 'experience.' We walked in for our 9pm reservation, not greeted by anyone so I boldly said hi to the woman behind the bar. Someone came over and led us to our (tiny/squished) table. No one took my full-length coat, so I had to drape it over my chair with the bottom dragging on the floor and spilling into the path of the passing servers. There was a lame oil lamp on the table. The server came by and said, "oh looks like we didn't light the candle" and proceeded to walk away without lighting the candle. The place setting was a joke. Two dinner forks and two dinner knives each. We ordered a glass of wine each (rose and white). They were both room temperature. I ordered the arugula salad and calamari/shrimp combo. My partner had the Caesar salad and lamb. My salad had some lettuce, 2 tiny cherry tomatoes and some shaved parmesan cheese. What a joke for $18. His Caesar was very mediocre and more croutons than "good stuff". My calamari were rubber and tasteless. I was starving so I ate about half. The shrimp was atrocious. The shell was fused to the meat, and I had to use my hand to attempt to get a bite. I gave up. My husband's lamb was also tasteless, in a watery broth. No one asked if we wanted fresh pepper – I had to ask for some pepper. It was table variety – not acceptable for a "high-end" restaurant. Close to the end of the dinner, the server asked, "did you want any bread at all with your dinner?". Ahhh no thanks. Ridiculous. We ordered one slice of tiramisu – it looked sloppy but was the best thing about the whole experience. For the pleasure of what was listed above, we paid nearly $300. We are not wealthy people who eat out often and this was a HUGE treat. I cannot tell you how outrageously disappointing the meal was. I wish we'd stayed in and cooked. We'd have saved a bundle and the food would have been edible. I'd be happy to accept a refund and spend it on the Toronto location. Really really unacceptable experience.

Took care of me on one of their busiest nights (Valentines Day) especially when i didn't have an order and called on the day of. Although the kitchen was overwhelmed and backed up, she still managed to get my order in and make the evening happen! Way to go above and beyond. 5/5 for sure! Strongly recommend! Good food, Amazing staff and Good Vibes as always!

Arrived slightly early and was reprimanded and made to feel unwelcome. Wine we ordered was unavailable. Server continuously dripping red wine drops while pouring onto tablecloth. Felt pressured to order quickly even though place was virtually empty at noon on a Saturday. Food was lack lustre. Very small portions. Scallop meal is 4 scallops with what tasted like mayo as a sauce. That’s it. Lunch was $485 for 2. Definitely would not recommend this location, especially given all the superb options in Oakville. This place definitely needs to step it up in all areas and not rest on the laurels of the Toronto location’s reputation.

Just fantastic. Proper Italian food. (We sped a lot of time there) Not the ‘American-Italian’ stuff we often get here—it’s pretty close to the food you’d get in Italy. The pasta will be ‘al dente’—it’s supposed to be that way. Pretend you’re in Italy and you’re good to go. Very highly recommended.

They have the worst customer service! I emailed 4 days ago to reserve a table but I received an answer that I need to call same day for reservation, I explained that I want to bring some guests so I need to have a reservation ahead but again I received same answer. Finally I called today for reservation but they told me they are fully booked for next three weekends!!!??? I explained that I have received two emails that asked me to call same day for reservation and now you are fully booked for next three weekends? How it is possible? But no answer!

Sotto Sotto was Sosso Sosso at best !!! Reservation at 9:00 pm on a Saturday, dinner arrived at 11:05 pm, and dinner was so weak. But let’s begin with walking in the door, we got there at 9 pm, there was another 2 groups standing in the doorway waiting, doorway has no room to have 6 people standing let alone 10, hostess nowhere to be found because she is running around apologizing for tables not being available for the reserved time. We are told to sit at the bar and we are given the wine menu to decide ahead of being seated, what about a cocktail menu, nope they don’t have that. We are told to wait 30 minutes for our table and given a free drink. We finally get seated at the big table for 2, I wouldn’t want to see the small table, then we get all kinds of pressure to order from a lacklustre menu, the waiter raves about the Sea Bass special for two, the chef will debone it and it will be amazing and it’s discounted to $100 for some reason(I assume that they must have this almost ready to go) We are told about the amazing appetizer for 2 and we should add a shrimp because it only comes with one(if it’s an app for 2 then why aren’t there 2 shrimps, guess what, 1 extra shrimp is $12). After all this pressure we order our food and our wine, the wine came quick, appetizer came at 10:30, dinner came at 11:05, we ate the stale bread to sustain ourselves and drank the bottle before the dinner arrived. Dinner, ha! that’s a stretch, the amazing sea bass was on a plate with nothing else, not a single vegetable or anything, nor was it presented in a nice way and there were bones in it, the fish did come with a salad to share(3 small pieces of tomato and greens) all that for $100, usually $140. I had to eat desert because we were starving, I joked about stopping at Pizzaiolo on the way home but I did go home and make a PBJ. $300 all in and that’s dinner for two at Sotto Sotto ...there are way better options in Oakville, go to Jonathan’s!!!

Is this the same Soto Soto from Toronto? Can't be! I'm not sure what was worse; the food or the service. The sea bass, which should be delicate, moist, and flavorful, was covered in olive oil so the only thing I could taste was olive oil. The cesare salad was even worse, the dressing was like a watered-down version of Kraft dressing. Big disappointment, especially given the fond memories from the Toronto location.

Terrible service. It was 1 hour before we received a menu or wine. And when the wine was finally brought to us we were presented with unwashed wine glasses. How you pick up unwashed glasses and put them in front of people is beyond me. Disgusting! And the response was it’s busy so someone must have put them in the wrong spot. Hum really that’s a basic in the restaurant world which means you don’t have basic standard practices in place, inexcusable. Will not ever return.

I've been to the Toronto location and loved it so of course I want to try the new location in Oakville. First of all, my reservation was at 9 considerably late in Oakville and I had to wait a little to be seated. I think this needs to be improve. The food portion is huge here. The grill octopus is amazing. It cooked beautifully. I highly recommend this dish and the famous risotto!

Went to dinner on a Friday night with another couple and everything was great. The atmosphere is interesting decor wise, some music was playing but not too loud that you could not easily chat with your friends. The clientele was dressed up and everyone else dining there seemed to also be having fun and enjoying themselves. Our reservation was right on time when we walked in and we were greeted kindly and enthusiastically. Our wait staff for the evening was terrific, they were well informed, attentive and very pleasant. The menu I thought was rather diverse with lots of options that I would have happily selected. In the end I went with a pasta, as it is an Italian restaurant, I had the carbonara and it was excellent, the pasta cooked just right, the pancetta large and a bit crispy and the sauce not to creamy. I started with the appetizer special of burrata and tomato and the burrata was amazing. I paired a few bites with the bread served at the table and that too was delicious. The wine list I thought was also great, lots of good wines to choose from at reasonable prices and of course a selection of super high quality wines at higher prices. We picked a reasonable one that I was familiar with and loved it, both as it was a nice wine and we were not breaking the bank to enjoy it. All and all a wonderful evening, where everything went as we had hoped it would. I am glad to welcome Soto Soto to Oakville and I very much look forward to returning.

Heard so much great things about the Toronto Soto Soto location and was looking forward to trying the Oakville location for my husbands and I’s 21st wedding anniversary however I am beyond disappointed. Food was not good, very cold, bland and nothing tasted fresh. The Pizza tasted like a frozen oven pizza. Not worth the money whatsoever, there’s a lot other better Italian restaurants in Oakville. Very disappointed. Go to 7 enoteca or piano piano in Oakville they are so much better.

Will not go back. $26 for a dish of pasta with salmon & asparagus. Not even 1 spring of asparagus and barely 1 tbsp of salmon. How can a restaurant justify paying that much for literally a plate of extremely hard penne. Not al denté by any means. Service was lousy. No offer of cheese, pepper, water. To top it off, owner was having shots at the table behind us, yet he was waiting tables & serving customers. Completely unprofessional! With a name like Sotto Sotto I expected more. Should have listened to the reviews which were not good. Lesson learned! Thank u for a disappointing birthday dinner.

Not sure how you can justify the prices. A restaurant attempting to be a high end Italian restaurant, however the two dishes we had were subpar. This is the pizza that was delivered to us. I called the restaurant and the guy on the phone pretty much said he was expecting our call?!?! He said sorry and that they normally check the pizza before boxing it. Do they make pizzas in a room with the lights off?! 2 stars because they delivered a new pizza. Very flavourless. The second picture is how the second pizza arrived. The 5 tiny meatballs for $16.99!!...were literally ground beef in a ball form and thrown in a container. If you're an Italian restaurant...don't insult all the Nonna's out there with these pathetic super overly expensive meatballs!

Bland, boring and unimaginative. Loud classic rock playing on terrible sounding speakers (they turned the volume down when we brought it to their attention). A recommended antipasto platter that was suggested as ideal for sharing ($28) that came with one shrimp, a slice of tomato but they added two more shrimp for another $24 - (yes $12 per shrimp). We waited 52 minutes between courses - just waiting and waiting. A chicken scaloppini that is actually a boring chicken breast - nothing scaloppini about it. Knowing the restaurant was doing such a poor job (there were only four tables seated, so it was not like the kitchen was overwhelmed) they offered us desert on the house, but by that time, we just wanted to get out so declined the offer. I will pay anything for great food but this place has little value for money. What kind of Italian restaurant has no balsamic? Or serves a pasta aioli (penne) for the palate of a four year old? So many dining alternatives in Oakville where you will not feel you have ben fleeced when walking out the door. Granted they have only been open a couple of weeks, but this is an outpost of an established Toronto restaurant, so they have no excuses for such poor food or sloppy service.

We met with friends at this place for a meeting. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very nice. The staff members were extremely nice and we had an excellent feeling. The food was just great. We had a great time and we shall absolutely come back again. Keep it up.

I've heard so many great things about this restaurant but I was truly disappointed, the food was extremely salty. My waitress was taking her sweet time, chit chatting. I was at the restaurant for more than 2.5 hours, that's way longer than I usually am even for dinner at other places. It was lunch, I just wanted to eat and leave. Service needs help.

Visited the night of Nov 16. I had the seafood pasta and the food was great and portion size for the price was good. Atmosphere and service was nice and attentive. The only issue that night was the server moved my sister-in-law pasta dish to quick forward and it all shifted back out of the plate. Not sure how none of it landed on my wife, but lucky it didn’t because that would have been a situation. The staff apologized and quickly cleaned the table and replaced the dish. Would have rated the experience a 5 star, and I understand mistakes happen, but I also understand recovering from an unfortunate event. Deserts on the house would have been nice as a token of good faith and for the GM to stop by and check it in.

Went to Sotto Sotto Oakville on Saturday night and had the best experience. There are a few specific acknowledgements that need to happen on this platform for our amazing evening. Julia, she is the supervisor there and did such a great job at accommodating our reso. She was communicative and also came over twice during our experience to check up on us. She was so helpful every time I called the restaurant with questions. Julia D (JD) our server was awesome. She was hospitable, extremely attentive and fun. She took care of all our orders and specific modifications and truly went above and beyond during our experience. Lastly, Fabbio! What can I say, he was an absolute delight. He came over to help us select our wine. He brought us a few options. He also went above and beyond to make a "custom" pizza for me as there were specific toppings I liked on my pizza. He came over a few times to check up on us and we always have great and fun conversation. The food was outstanding, my partner and I ate an APP, MAIN and DESSERT each!! As it was all simply soo delicious. We went home with full bellies and amazing memories from a night out. Thank you to the team at Sotto Sotto Oakville for giving us such a wonderful experience! We will definitely be back. :)

Absolutely Amazing Experience. I heard amazing things about the Toronto location and was really excited to come into the restaurant. Mac was our server and made the night something special. His recommendation on the wine was spot on and his ability to answer my questions about the menu (All in Italian) put me at ease. Everything tasted incredible. Went here for a late afternoon birthday lunch with my sisters and we thoroughly enjoyed it. A unanimous favorite dish was their Spicy Rigatoni alla Vodka with salmon & asparagus— it could’ve done without the asparagus but it was just so delightful regardless. The beef carpaccio was good and perfectly sliced but could’ve used a bit of olive oil on the slices to keep it more moist and the mussels were tasty but could’ve been a bit less salty as I really like to drench my breads in my mussel sauce. The grilled octopus was also too saucy. A light drizzle would’ve allowed me to taste the actual octopus a bit more. All in all, great experience— love the ambiance and service. We would definitely still come here again.

For a restaurant that open up just a few weeks ago, Sotto Sotto Oakville is already flying high! From the service to the food, everything was fantastic. My partner and I both had pasta dishes, followed by a molten cake that was heaven on earth. If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Looking forward to returning .

I'm sitting here waiting 45 minutes for an 830 reservation. It's 915. Maybe if we get seated tonight the review will change. Edit: we got seated about 5 minutes after the above review. The food was fantastic. Amazing Italian restaurant. The wait time was insanity. I mean the entire point of a reservation is to hold the table for us. So I know that they know how to take a reservation but they sure don't know how to hold a reservation which is the whole point of the reservation. Overall I'd go back because the food was so good.

Was so looking forward to our dinner at Sotto Sotto.. What a disappointment. I was floored when I read all the other excellent reviews. Maybe we came on an off night. My mussels where tasteless, my veal entree was also tasteless. Server was pleasant but made two mistakes with our order. For the price, it was a joke. Very underwhelming experience. Will not be returning or recommending.

Went on Valentine's day, which is admittedly the worst day to try a restaurant, much like mother's day, so review should be taken with a grain of salt (which also applies to the food, which was not heightened to its full capacity). Spent a lot of money on food that could be easily cooked at home, and served hotter, but again it was V day. Something to be said for quality ingredients, the burrata was the best part but unfortunately served with tomatoes not fully ripened. The carbonara was delicious and authentic, and salmon was cooked well, as was the short rib, but the flavors were muted so left something to be desired. Service was pretty tight on a higher note. Not eager to return any time soon..

The service did not make up for the below average food, as our waitress was fairly rude and uninterested. I do not recommend this place, and would not come here again.

Sotto Sotto oakville is by far one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been too! The restaurant was very clean, the service is excellent . Special shout out to my waitress Julia she was on the ball, super friendly and courteous. She definitely made the experience enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious zero complaints! This place is a must eat I highly recommend it.

Well what can I say, our experience wasn't good. Definitely a first and last time. Maybe will give the Toronto location a second chance but Oakville, never. The server was very lacking in giving details of the menu. The Caesar salad - pancetta was caked in solidified grease and cold as ever. Not professional at all. I asked our server if the steak came with anything as the menu did not specify. I was told "oh a little bit of vegetable" I said okay, I'll try the baked asparagus with it aswell. The steak actually had potato wedges underneath it. 2 measly potato wedges. They tasted great but only 2 pieces? For a $49 steak, the sides should be plentiful especially since the cut of beef was on par for a corporate restaurant chain. The asparagus, for 13.99 I expect more than 6 pieces in a bowl! Like really?? Also very much resembled the poor handling of just sprinkling Parm cheese on top of the asparagus and microwaving it, as that's what the layer of Parm in the bowl looked like. Yuck. My fiancée had the bolognese dish. This was good. To top the night off, our server didn't bother to bring us the check, someone else did.(trust me this place was not busy!) And after I processed my own payment by myself as all staff dissapeared, we both walked right out of there. No staff greeting on the way out, no one at all to be seen except the delivery van parked right in front of the door shuffling trays of food back and forth. To top it all off, I pointed out that there was a fruit fly in my fiancée's drink, to which the random server that brought the pay pad to me, quickly took off. Sorry but this was an epic fail, it feels like your indoor dining etiquette has completely dropped since covid came along. Seemed like a nice upscale place with lots of potential, instead it's an overpriced waste of space. It's sad really.

Great atmosphere and the patio sits on a quiet street. The Aperol Spritz I had was very refreshing! Dishes were good in general but nothing blew my mind. Menu is on the expensive side. I didn't find anything amazing tbh. The tiramisu was the highlight of the dinner. I found some dishes like the Branzino and the mushroom pasta were a bit bland.

Just terrible on all levels. Service was lousy and it felt like they brought in temps to ‘help out’. Food was completely tasteless. Wine was warm. Price was about 3 times the ‘value’. I will never return and hope if you’re reading this that you have been warned. I am having a hard time believing that the Toronto location is affiliated. I can’t imagine that they are just standing by reading brutal review after brutal review and doing nothing to fix the disaster that is your Oakville location. People have choices - AMAZING Italian in Oakville - Cucci, Pasquale’s, Justino’s, Piano Piano… spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

The noise level inside the restaurant was worse than a family fast food restaurant. (Personally think Mcdonalds is better) Food was just alright, though could have been much better for its price. And if you are looking forwards to the Taste of Oakville, skip this.

So my best friend wanted to take me to our favourite place for my Birthday...despite COVID-19 and being very nervous (as we stopped going to restaurants since the pandemic) we decided to give it a shot. The restaurant I felt took all proper precautions to make their guests feel safe. Our server Shay was an absolute delight!!! She was thoughtful and attentive and the food was outstanding. We had the fresh fish and octopus. Unfortunately our first night out in months was ruined by an unruly customer at the next table...but Shay was professional and classy and handled him and the whole chaotic evening with class. So did the lovely hostess and young gentleman at the bar who brought our food. Thank you sotto sotto and your team for never disappointing...we will be back!
