I was here this past weekend for the first time celebrating the birthday of my mother and cousin. The food was delicious and the wait staff was attentive. All of the food was fresh and plated nicely. Simply delicious. Will be back at some point. I am somewhat of a pizza connoisseur and highly approve of their pizza. Gotta love the thin crust traditional Italian style! ????

We have eaten here before and thought we would give it another chance. Food is either cold, under cooked, and service is delayed. This evening we all left Piazza Bistro so disappointed. My wife's Pasta was not sufficiently cooked, still hard. Our son had Ravioli and it was appalling in terms of presentation, potion size. Service was so slow again this evening. We would not recommend Piazza Bistro as there are better restaurants downtown Oakville from which to choose. We do not plan to return.

Very cute place. We went on a Tuesday night and they had an amazing musician...which made the night so much more special! I ordered the fungi pizza- loved it. My husband ordered the pasta in squid ink - didn’t love it but liked it enough.

Gluten free pasta portions are on the small side. Excellent GF pizza crust. Nice location outside. A little pricey but nice for a treat. update: dropped by recently after returning home from a long flight. They ran out of GF pasta but they offered to make some fresh if I didn't mind waiting 20 mins. It was definitely worth the wait. Beautiful al dente GF pasta and the GF pizza was good as usual.

The margherita pizza is amazing! The cheese isn't overpowering but delicious and the crust has the perfect texture and is seasoned very well! The gelato is very creamy and delicious! I would definitely recommend piazza bistro!

Tried to call to make a reservation for a group and I was told to wait “just a second” and I was happy to comply. I waited for six minutes on the phone and nobody ever came back to take my reservation. Called back and got voicemail. Disappointed in the unprofessionalnism!

One of the best authentic Italian restaurants in Oakville. Cozy relaxing and casual atmosphere, pizza is better then any pizza I’ve had in the gta, everything is made in house and from scratch, the owners are nice and welcoming, but unfortunately I have to say the waitress was not into it and not very professional which is unfortunate. Seems to be many other people also dealt with the same issue and or server.

On the patio on a Saturday evening with another couple for dinner. Service was very slow, had to chase down the server to remind him that he hadn't taken our drink order, and it seems that they ran out of clean cutlery which meant that the food was getting cold while we waited. We've eaten here in the past and the food has been good, but only mediocre this time. Won't rush to return!

First timer: The prosciutto pizza was awesome. They put a good amount of meat and cheese on a thin crust... Deelish! The Caesar salad had right amount of dressing and cheese....usually there is too much dressing and not enough cheese And service was great

We sat outside, service and food was ok, the owner was cleaning up a table close to us and threw the water from the glasses into a garden beside us, dirt and water splashed my purse and pants.... during covid 19. Offered a coffee or dessert which we declined and nothing comped on the bill! Will not go back!

Almost a mismatch between the atmosphere and the food and service. Well, the food was outstanding on par with some of Oakville’s top restaurants and the service was even better. However the place although cozy and relaxed with an air of friendliness lacked some thing. I don’t know maybe music or higher end furniture. Any how it is a great find right there in the middle of oakville downtown lakeshore area.

If I could give 6/5 stars I would!! Staff was amazing and very attentive. Had a three course meal starting with their fresh burrata filled by an amazing beet salad, and for the main course their spaghetti and meatballs which was fo die for! The restaurant had an amazing atmosphere and I cannot wait to come back for more!!

My husband, twins and I were turned away today simply because we had a stroller and the hostess blatantly said the restaurant doesn't want strollers on the patio. I don't believe a stroller is in any way shape or form breaking the social distancing or covid-19 rules when we (including our children) were a party of 4. We will never bring our business to this establishment again. We ended up going to Seasons where we were greeted pleasantly and given a table with no issues of us having our twin stroller.

The place is just ok. Thr pizza is descent but seemed a bit hard. The two flavors of pizza we ordered tasted exactly the same but with slightly different pieces of meat. Additionally being charged for something like a dip on the side isn't welcome.

Service was a bit strange. Was seated and waited at least 10 minutes before a server acknowledged our table. I found the service to be a bit slow. Food was tasty. The cheesecake was my favourite! The atmosphere was quite relaxing.

The food is very good, but there were some major safety concerns. Our waiter was told that my daughter had a serious nut allergy and we wanted to share the arugula salad without nuts, with a small amount of nuts in a separate dish that I could sprinkle on my plate. We also asked about the ingredients in the burata’s caponata and were told they were tomatoes, capers and olives. When the burata arrived, we could see that there were pine nuts in the caponata and the waitress agreed to make another. As we ate the salad, there were several fragments of pecans in the main platter which my daughter noticed before ingesting. There also were fragments on her own plate’s portion of the salad. We told the waitress, and she apologized, but she seemed to imply that I had sprinkled my portion of nuts onto the shared platter, which was not the case. My plate was a good distance away. It was definitely a kitchen error. I feel that two breaches in safety within the same meal was dangerous. I really love the food there but will not be returning.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. Our family sat on the patio and we had a fabulous time. The food was great - we are all vegetarians and they had plenty of options. I am also gluten free and they were able to cater for that as well. The best part - we realized that the owner was helping out and she has an amazing attitude and energy! Thanks for making it a memorable dinner.

I will echo the previous comment. We were a party of four with an 8 month old baby at lunch today. We were somewhat surprised to find out that the servers were not wearing masks. When we requested they do so, the answer given was that "we wear them indoors at the kitchen". Well, that's a relief!! I'm sure the customers appreciate the fact that the Chef is well protected but strangely, the clientele is not entitled to the same courtesy. The servers are frequently closer than 2 feet away when they're serving or clearing the dishes and this is completely inappropriate behaviour in contravention of regulations but more particularly , simple common sense. We are regulars at Piazza but will not come again until such time as the Staff observe what should really be normal procedures.

Good food and vibe overall. The service was okay, some of the servers were not very friendly. For apps I’d highly recommend the rice balls and calamari. For the mains the veal and pizza iwere really good. Fairly small portions as well.

Racist, rude. Go to boot social. So much better!!! Looks like they deleted this. But, for more info, went on a Tuesday evening. Relatively busy so had no issue being on the waitlist. The restaurant seats at least four groups (each who waitlisted after us) before we ask whats going on. Owner was (somehow) indignant, rude and tried to get the entire restaurant to side with her as we left. If you are of darker skin color, expect to be line bypassed and treated as second class. This is a place notorious for being anti child. My experience makes me believe their 'customer preferences' extend to the realm of discrimination.

The food tastes like your Nonna made it. If you like great homemade Italian food I highly recommend trying Piazza. Family owned, friendly, they want you to leave happy. The chef has some great fish features in the evening.

Postings this ln saturday night server had brown hair. . .. .Waited 45 minutes for a pizza. When I received it wasn't what I ordered and then the server was rude to us. All we had asked for were 2 simple pizzas. Then they tried to charge me for it. Terrible service. Terrible price. Do not reccomend at all. Very unfair.

A gem in the heart of Downtown Oakville, steps from the lake, within the town square. This amazing restaurant is owned by a couple - Kirsten (Keersten) runs the front of the house and her husband is the chef. Their daughter Sam was serving us this weekend, so a family affair. In addition to Sam we enjoyed exceptional service from Sara, a Downtown Oakville restaurant veteran. The food was exceptional, the sizable portions of pasta, made with the freshest of ingredients, were served steaming hot and seasoned to perfection. We started with the Arancini and the Fresh Burrata, both were absolutely delicious. Ice cold water and fresh bread were brought to the table without asking. We also enjoyed a nice bottle of Pinot Noir from their extensive, yet reasonably priced, wine list. The atmosphere was incredible on Saturday night. Downtown Oakville, and the Town Square were alive with people, live jazz and and overall great vibe. Our table on the patio was perfectly positioned for people watching and enjoyment of the live music. Overall I am giving the experience a 9 out of 10 for food, service, location, pricing and overall satisfaction. Our only regret is they are not taking reservations at this time so we can't pre-book for next Saturday night. The good news is we learned that they do take out and true "curbside pickup" where they will actually walk it out to your car when you pull up on Lakeshore Road.

Beautiful setting in Oakville Square. We enjoyed the great service, delicious food, specially the pizza with generous toppings and thin crust. Outdoor patio is lovely to sit on during the summer months. Great value too and the staff is great. Enjoy the delicious gelato too. Will visit again for sure.

Came back for a gelato, the place was busy, so it took a while for someone to help us. The guy that served us was not very pleasant, he used a regular scoop of ice cream to serve my gelato, I left with a little scoop of gelato and had to pay $6 dls. Definitely I will never come back for gelato ???? First review (gave them 5 stars) Tried their gelato at a festival and it was delicious. I’m looking forward to come back to try their pizza and have another gelato for dessert.

We had the most AMAZING dinner!!! We started with the fresh burrata with crispy prosciutto and grilled focaccia - I have never had something SO delicious!! Then had the beet salad - delish! But ordered the “spaghetti and meatballs” the purist of the pure! It was UNBELIEVABLE!!!! The chef knows Italian!!!! And the servers were amazing!!!!! Thank you.. thank you!!!

DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT! Came here at lunch on a weekday to a partially filled patio with my two children and mother in law, my one year old asleep in the stroller and the owner said that my stroller had to be parked outside of the patio (and out of sight). I was utterly at lost for words that the owner seeing my baby asleep in the stroller did not flinch at making this demand!!!! The owner and wait staff did not make any effort to shift tables in order to maybe fit us in a corner and instead a half ass effort was suggested that we unbuckle the seat part of our uppa vista stroller and place my sleeping child on the floor. I could not believe that to my face and with no remorse they were treating my child like a DOG?!?! Any establishment where the owner and wait staff have a complete disregard to the SAFETY of my children, lack of common sense and complete disrespect does not deserve any customer's loyalty or business.

This restaurant has clearly never seen any other race apart from white Canadian in their restaurant, the servers are rude and ignorant. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant with my kids... It is not kid friendly and the food is average at best. The only reason people continue to eat here is that the food is average priced and there is a patio... Will never go to this restaurant again! So many better options in Oakville....

Great little gem in downtown Oakville - time and time again.... real authentic food made with passion. Note to previous customer, if nut allergies requires that amount of control and you cannot afford seperate plates...... Maybe an option is to dine out alone or not share........Your hosts anywhere can only do their best and mishaps anywhere can happen, especially with other guess around. Pretty sad to try and destroy a reputation where YOU are soley respensonble for your child eating. GREAT trestaurant.

Terrible experience, below standard service. The place is not taking reservations. Walked in and the host put me and my family of 3 down for 1.5 hrs waiting list. We patiently waited and 10min before the time I checked in to see if we were on target to be seated just to learn they were not going to take us! No heads up from them, wouldn’t probably have even called me if I didn’t check. Will never visit this place

Amazing pizzas. We ordered almost all of them for a 1st communion and all of them we delicious! The owner is a very nice and most importantly honest lady. Service was good as well. Oh the salads we really good. My favorite is piazza salad. My husband loved the octupus, apparently super tender. Good house wine too. The homemade tiramisù is to die for! Gelato are super good!

I rated this place 4 stars a year ago as a loyal customer. Admittedly the service was never exceptional but good food made up for it. Today, I'm editing to 1 star and it takes a lot for me to write a negative review. Thanks to this we discovered another lovely restaurant just across the square with delightful service so of you're in the area check out Boon thai and even Enotica instead of this. Sharing my experience today: I called up to ask if there was space to take my family of 4 if we arrived in the next 15 minutes. I was told there was an empty table right then and if I arrived within 15 mins it's ours. We got there within 10minutes... Waited another 10minutes to be seen while we stared at an empty table we assumed we'd be directed to. The manager then tells me another group was before me and she's waiting for them and if they don't get here within 20 minutes then she'll seat us. I had a kid with a broken leg on my hip. And a hungry toddler and at this point getting impatient. I asked if she can seat us given we've been waiting the whole time and clearly this other group weren't as hungry if they were nowhere in sight. My theory is they are not kid friendly and if they can avoid a family with kids they will. Zero empathy. Zero acknowledgement of misleading me on the phone. Just zero customer service. No food is good enough to compensate for that. .

Popped in for a quick lunch, and was warmly greeted. The menu was the standard Italian fare. I chose the Spaghetti & Meat Balls which came in a decent amount of time, in a very healthy portion. The food was very good at least for my liking.
